90th Annual Cochise County Fair 
The 90th Annual Cochise County Fair takes place Thursday – Sept. 28 at the Cochise County Fairgrounds, Leslie Canyon Road, in Douglas. The theme is "Where Memories Begin."
Gates open at 10 a.m. daily.
Admission prices are as follows: General, 13 and older – $6; Children, 5 to 12 – $3; under 5 – free. Parking is $3. Dollar Days are Thursday, seniors; Friday, students; Saturday, military.
Rodeo performances are Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. 

This year's fair features: live daily entertainment; livestock shows and auction; approximately 80 vendors; carnival rides by Brown's Amusements; rodeo on Friday and Saturday; turkey races; free petting zoo; pony rides; shopping; food; and a beer garden.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
