Be a Local Tourist — Patterson Observatory Public Night

The Patterson Observatory and the Huachuca Astronomy Club invite you to a public viewing of the night sky. Weather permitting, you will be able to view the skies with the 20-inch Patterson Telescope and other instruments. View the amazing celestial sights including craters of the crescent moon, gas giant planets Uranus and Neptune, double stars, various star clusters, nebula, planetary nebula and distant galaxies. Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
