Free Samhain concerts for Celtic New Year
The Celtic and World music duo, Four Shillings Short, will present special, free concerts celebrating Samhain, the Celtic New Year. The duo plays music from Ireland and Scotland, Indian ragas, folk ballads, original compositions, Medieval and Renaissance instrumentals and a cappella numbers on more than 30 instruments.
On Oct. 28, 5:30 – 7 p.m., they will perform at the Copper Queen Library, 6 Main St., Bisbee.

On Oct. 29, 1 – 2:30 p.m. and 5 – 6:30 p.m., they will perform at the Sierra Vista Public Library, 2600 E. Tacoma St.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber.
