Running with Paws Wanted: Runners and Walkers

Runners, walkers, and animal lovers are encouraged to stop by the Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center for a run/walk with a furry friend! Choose from a list of high energy dogs and give them a little extra exercise. Each dog is given their own pedometer and mileage is logged by the shelter at the end of the run/walk. Awards will be offered at certain mileage points that runners/walkers meet with their furry partner. For more information call the shelter at 458-4151.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
