See raptors at Desert Museum

See raptors at Desert Museum

Now through April, bring cameras to see the Raptor Free Flight demonstration at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. This presentation puts visitors in the flight path as native birds-of-prey swoop and soar right above their heads. The action takes place in the open desert to showcase the birds in their natural habitat. Different birds fly in each of the two presentations daily. See a selection of birds flying from the following species currently in the Museum's collection: at 10 a.m. – Chihuahuan ravens, great horned owls, prairie falcons, Ferruginous hawks, red-tailed hawks and at 2 p.m. – gray hawks, barn owls, Peregrine falcons, Harris's hawks.
