Free lecture, 'Saving Great American West'
Cochise College is hosting a free coffee and lecture Saturday, 1 – 2 p.m., at the Benson Center. The event features acclaimed speaker Hugh Grinnell, presenting “Saving the Great American West,” the life of his distant cousin, George Bird Grinnell, who founded the first Audubon Society, co-founded the Boone and Crockett Club with Teddy Roosevelt, and led the effort to establish Glacier National Park.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
