Amazing Arizona continues

Amazing Arizona continues
The Sierra Vista Historical Society is hosting another Amazing Arizona in its series of presentations called “A Patchwork of Stories.” Carolyn O’Bagy Davis will present “Hopi Quilting: Stitched Traditions from an Ancient Community.” This program focuses on the unique quilting traditions of Hopi quiltmakers and the way quilts have been incorporated into daily life and ceremonies. The presentation will be illustrated with vintage and contemporary images, as well as an extensive showing of Hopi quilts and textiles.
The program takes place March 3, 1 p.m., at the Henry Hauser Museum located within the Ethel Berger Center at 2950 East Tacoma St., Sierra Vista. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
