Cowboy poets now gathering
Southern Arizona's Western ranching heritage is celebrated with performances by acclaimed cowboy poets and musicians, staged at Buena Performing Arts Center through Sunday. The featured musicians include Celtic fusion recording-artist Arvel Bird, award-winning balladeer Patty Clayton and award-winning cowboy poet/reciter Doris Daley, among others. Tickets are $20 for general admission and students grade 12 and under are $6.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber.
