See stars through big telescopes

See stars through big telescopes
The Patterson Observatory will open to the public on March 26 for a night of observing the moon, Jupiter, and variety of star clusters nebulae and distant galaxies. The event is free, family friendly and open to the public. Doors open at sunset and viewing begins about 7 p.m. The event is weather dependent; clouds will force cancellation.
The observatory is located on the campus of the University of Arizona South, Sierra Vista, 1140 N. Colombo Ave.
Donations go to the maintenance of the observatory and are accepted.
