Join Friends of the Huachuca Mountains at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Carr House. Guest speaker Ed Riggs will talk about "Madams and Murders outside the Gate,” a look at some of the first settlers in Cochise County. Presentations are free, but donations are appreciated.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
