GSA Auctions Aircraft and Aircraft Parts Update

  The Department of the Interior, Office of Aviation Services, is selling to the highest bidder a 1965 Piper Super Cub PA-18-150 (160 hp), N7883, S/N 18-8259, on 29 inch Alaska bush wheels and plumbed for wheel skis and with an Airglass cargo/belly fuel tank.  See the attached aircraft status and equipment times sheets for more information. Included with the sale of the aircraft is a set of Federal AWB-2500A retractable wheel skis (s/n 199 left and 199 right), ski pump and rigging. The aircraft is available for inspection at OAS, 4405 Lear Court, Anchorage, Alaska. Please contact Daryl Carson at (907) 271-5158 to arrange for an inspection. Hours for inspection are7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Included with the aircraft is a set of 31 inch Alaska Bushwheel tires on Cleveland 6 inch wheels, plus an extra set of Cleveland 6 inch wheels, p/n 40-75D (without tires); a set of Aero M3000 Straight wheel replacement skis (S/N 4047 and 4048); a second set of Cub landing gear with bolt on AWB ski fittings, Cleveland 6 inch wheels with 8:50 x 6 tires, a FA Dodge LH and RH fueling step and a FA Dodge RH long boarding step; and a set ofAirglas L2500A wheel replacement skis (s/n 4527 and 4528). Potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect this aircraft prior to bidding. Notes: (1) This aircraft will be sold as-is/where-is. Some avionics have been removed.  The Automatic Flight Following (AFF), FM radio, and game tracking components have been removed.
