Maintenance work on I-19 south of Tucson July 30

Northbound Interstate 19 will be reduced to one lane south of Tucson at Papago Road (milepost 53, kilometer 87) Thursday (July 30) from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to allow Arizona Department of Transportation crews to conduct maintenance work.

    • One lane will remain open at all times.
    • Message boards will guide drivers through the work zone.

ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead to avoid the closure or allow extra travel time if traveling during the scheduled closure period.
