“Doggy Dip Day,” Sept. 12

All authorized MWR patrons are invited to bring their canine companions to “Doggy Dip Day,” Sept. 12, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Irwin Pool. This free event will include a dog photo contest and a splash competition, and prizes will be awarded. Dog handlers must be 18 or older, and will be allowed to bring no more than two dogs each. Dogs must be current on vaccinations, and handlers must show proof. A lifeguard will be on duty, but no humans will be allowed in the pool. For more information, call 533-3858.
