US 60 (Superstition Freeway) overnight closures in East Valley
Closures needed for work at new Meridian Road Traffic Interchange

The Meridian Road Traffic Interchange project on US 60 (Superstition Freeway) in the East Valley will require the following overnight closures. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes while the following freeway restrictions are in place:

Westbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) closed from Ironwood to Signal Butte roads from 8 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 26) to 5 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 27) and from 8 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 30) to 5 a.m. Monday (Aug. 31).

Eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) closed between Signal Butte to Ironwood roads from 8 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 1) to 5 a.m. Wed (Sept. 2) and from 8 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 2) to 5 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 3).
                                                                                                                       
Detours:
  • US 60 westbound travel - exit at Ironwood Road to Southern Avenue to Signal Butte Road
  • US 60 eastbound travel – exit at Signal Butte Road to Baseline Road to Ironwood Road

Drivers are asked to allow for extra time to reach their destinations and use caution while traveling in the area.
