In partnership with Economic Modeling Specialists International, CareerBuilder has created a list of the most in-demand jobs for this year based on one factor only: the number of job ads posted each month for the occupation versus the number of people who are hired in those jobs. Translation: The demand for these positions is far greater than the supply of people available to fill them. That's a big win for jobseekers.
Most in-demand jobs in 2016 that require a college education and the median hourly earnings:

  3. Marketing managers ($61.12)
  4. Sales managers ($53.20)
  5. Medical and health services managers ($44.62)

  9. Web developers ($30.52)
  10. Financial managers ($55.44)

Most in-demand jobs in 2016 that don't typically require a college education and the median hourly earnings:
  1. Heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers ($19.00)
  2. Food service managers ($23.34)
  3. Computer user support specialists ($22.89)
  4. Insurance sales agents ($23.01)
