Cochise College Rodeo 

Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6, Family and MWR, the Sierra Vista Riding Club and Cochise College will host the Cochise College Rodeo at Wren Arena, Fort Huachuca. Gates open at noon and the rodeo will start at 1 p.m. both days. Sunday, Exceptional Rodeo will start at 10 a.m., followed by Cowboy Church at noon. The rodeo is open to the public and will feature saddle and bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, team roping, bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping and goat tying. Active Duty military and children 5 and under will be admitted free. Advance tickets for the general public are on sale now for $7 at Murr Communi- ty Center, Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista Safeway, Ace Hardware-Sierra Vista, and at Cochise College, Sierra Vista and Douglas campuses. Tickets will be $8 at the gate. For more ticket information, call 533-2404.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
