Spring Smart Start Sports Camp 


The Smart Start Sports Camp program offers participants 3-5 years old the opportunity to develop essential motor skills and help to prepare kids with tools they need for fun and successful
experiences in an organized program. The Program builds confidence and self- esteem during impressionable years, when children need it most. Registration is $50 per child and includes a camp t-shirt. Parents are encouraged to get involved in all features of the Camp. Featured sports include Softball/Baseball, Basketball, Soccer and Bowling. A Birth certificate is required at registration at the Oscar Yrun Community Center, Ethel Berger Center and the Cove Aquatics Center. The program will be held at the Rothery Ed Center Gymnasium (former Apache Middle School) Mar 5-Apr 9. Please call 439-2302 or 439-2275 for detailed information.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
