Patrick Dempsey & Wife Jillian's Divorce Off? Actor Gives Relationship Status Update. Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian Dempsey are not divorcing after all. She had in January 2015 filed divorce papers after 15 years of marriage and three children. But the two have since been spotted together several times since then and last week, the judge sent Jillian a notice that states that she must file additional documents to complete the proceedings for their marital separation or the case will be thrown out. When asked recently if he and Jillian had reconciled, Patrick told the U.K. newspaper The Evening Standard's ES magazine, "Yeah, I think so." The former Grey's Anatomy star was pictured still wearing his wedding ring about a month after his wife filed for divorce. In November, they were seen holding hands in Paris. Patrick had filmed Bridget Jones's Baby in nearby London at the time. This past January, he and Jillian attended the inaugural Marie Claire Image Maker Awards in Los Angeles together and a month later, the two were photographed packing on the PDA on a yacht in St. Barts, where they vacationed with their 14-year-old daughter Tallula and 9-year-old twins Sullivan and Darby. This past weekend, Patrick and Jillian were seen making out at their sons' soccer game in Los Angeles. "You have to work at everything," Dempsey told ES. "And you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed." (Eonline)

Amber Heard Files for Divorce From Johnny Depp. Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are calling it quits. E! News confirms the actress filed for divorce from the Hollywood A-lister on Monday citing the ever-so-popular "irreconcilable differences," after being married for a little over one year. A source tells E! News the pair didn't have a prenuptial agreement in place. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Heard is asking for spousal support. E! News has reached out to both reps for comment. The filing states the date of separation as May 22, which comes shortly after Depp's mother, Betty Sue Palmer, reportedly passed away. Depp showed no sign of emotional distress from his personal life in recent days, and instead, has gone about touring with his band Hollywood Vampires and promoting his upcoming film Alice Through the Looking Glass with his usual charm. In fact, E! News caught up with the actor on Monday at the movie's premiere, where he joked about how babies are made. "Well it is the 21st century, and there are all kinds of strange digital... I don't know," he laughed while talking about his time away from Heard, who is busy shooting a movie at a distant location. "I think at this point babies are still made the same way -- with the stork and all that, so we'll just wait for the stork." While their courtship -- and that 22-year age gap -- raised a few eyebrows at the time (news of their engagement broke in January 2014 just a couple of days after their first red carpet appearance together), they then waited another full year before swapping vows, marrying in a civil ceremony at home in front of a handful of family members days before they threw a larger -- yet still intimate -- wedding on Depp's island in the Bahamas. "I try not to react to the horrible misrepresentation of our lives, but it is strange, and hard," the 30-year-old actress told Marie Claire for their December issue. Stepmothering Depp's two kids, Lily Rose, 16, and Jack, 13, has been "an honor and the greatest, most surprising gift I have ever received in my life," Heard added. "I feel new flavors that I didn't know existed. New colors that I didn't know existed have been added to my life. I'm so happy." "I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can't be easy," Depp said earlier this year while accepting the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, referring to his variety of onscreen personae. "It's hard for me -- it's got to be hard for her." A source told E! News earlier this year that their first year of marriage wasn't entirely smoothing sailing, but while their intense personalities can cause conflict, its that very passion that helps them work through the rough patches. Our insider describes the couple as both passionate, intense, opinionated and private people, the actors -- who met on the set of 2011's The Rum Diary -- in agreement when they started dating that they wanted to keep their relationship as private as possible before even tacitly confirming that they were a couple. "We connect on a lot of levels but the first things that really got me was she's an aficionado of the blues," Depp told E! News in December 2015 at the L.A. premiere of Heard's latest movie, The Danish Girl. "I would play a song, some old obscure blues song, and she knew what it was." The Black Mass star added, "She's very, very literate. She's a voracious reader as I have been, so we connected on that as well and she's kind of brilliant and beautiful. "I'm a very lucky man." Gwyneth Paltrow has just filed legal docs, asking a judge to officially end her marriage to Chris Martin ... but we know the docs aren't what they seem. Gwyneth has asked the judge to enter a default judgment, because Chris never responded to her divorce petition. On the surface it sounds like Chris isn't playing ball, but we know it's the exact opposite. As we reported, the former couple's business manager has been working out a property settlement, and Chris never responded to the divorce petition because he and Gwyneth didn't want lots of stories written each time documents were filed. We're told the property settlement is now complete, and they agreed long ago to joint custody of their kids. So the judge will enter the default and the property settlement will almost certainly remain confidential. Mission accomplished. (TMZ)

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's relationship was extremely bitter due to a full-blown feud between his family and Amber ... and this, we're told, is the backdrop for what is already an acrimonious divorce. Multiple sources connected to the ex-couple tell us, Johnny's 2 teenage kids, his 2 sisters and his mom "hated" Amber, and openly discussed it. We're told they talked about how Amber would rail on Johnny and "treat him like crap." Earlier this year, Johnny moved his mother, Betty Sue Palmer, into the L.A. compound where he and Amber lived ... and the tension was palpable. We're told mom often told friends she thought Amber was using Johnny for his money and fame, and to boost her own career. We're also told before Betty Sue moved in, she only saw her son once from the time he married Amber, and both Betty Sue and Johnny blame her for keeping them apart so she'd have full control. Our sources say Amber had 2 closed door sit-downs with Johnny's mom after she moved in, and after both meetings Betty Sue railed on her daughter-in-law, calling her a "terrible person." We broke the story ... Amber filed for divorce Monday ... 3 days after Betty Sue died. There was no prenup, and Amber wants spousal support. (TMZ)

Kevin Jonas Hopes Baby No. 2 Is a Girl. Kevin Jonas is hoping his daughter gets a little sister. The 28-year-old former singer and wife Danielle Jonas, 29, revealed on April 26 they are expecting their second child. The two are parents to Alena Rose Jonas, 2. Kevin, who grew up with four brothers and performed with three of them in the pop group the Jonas Brothers, said on the Sirius XM satellite radio show Nigel Barker's Gentleman's Code Wednesday he hopes their upcoming arrival is another daughter. "I've actually always wanted two girls," he said. "I just want a healthy baby, to clarify. I want healthy children," he added. "But I've always like wanted two kids that were both girls and my wife was like, 'Why?' I'm like, 'Because I've been around boy so much my entire life that I want to be surrounded by, you know, girls." He also said the two are "having the hardest time with boy names." Kevin, the oldest of the Jonas brothers, is the first sibling in his family to get married and have children. He and Danielle wed in 2009. In 2013, when she was pregnant with Alena, they announced their daughter's sex more than a month after they made their initial pregnancy announcement. It is unclear how far along Danielle is in her current pregnancy. Some OB/GYN offices offer DNA blood tests that can identify the sex of an embryo as early as 10 weeks, while others only allow expecting mothers to find out what they're having at a 20-week structural ultrasound scan. During his interview with Barker, Kevin also talked about how his wife has been criticized for working out while pregnant, even though it's safe for their baby because she also exercised regularly when she wasn't expecting. He said it's "what makes her feel good." Kevin also defended recent new mom Chrissy Teigen, who drew criticism online for going out to dinner alone with husband John Legend the week after she gave birth to their daughter Luna. "It's no one's place to make comments on how you live your life, and you know what, no one even knows whether it was with a nanny, whether it was a babysitter," Kevin said. "It doesn't matter who the baby was with. It's not your responsibility to comment on parenting for others. I would hate if someone did that to me." (Eonline)

Demi Lovato and her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama have been dating for nearly six years, but that doesn't mean they're ready to put a ring on it. And the singer isn't afraid to debunk any rumors that have been circulating. During a day of press events on Wednesday, Lovato, 23, accessorized her looks with dazzling diamond jewels, including an extra-sparkly ring worn on her right-hand ring finger, which sparked some major engagement buzz surrounding her longtime beau, Valderrama, 36. But quickly after fans began questioning the meaning (and placement) behind the star's flashy bauble, she addressed the oversize diamond accessory in a single Snapchat snapshot: a photo of her hand wearing the thick, diamond-encrusted ring with the word "relax" written below it in all caps. This isn't the first time Lovato debunked engagement rumors. In February, Ellen DeGeneres asked the star about her relationship status, to which she gave a very candid response. "I don't see a ring ... I wouldn't mind if I saw one!" the "Stone Cold" singer told Ellen. "There's time for everything, you know. We've been together this long, and obviously I'm not going anywhere and vice versa." (People)

Gavin Rossdale Doesn't Like Blake Shelton Bonding With His Kids, Source Reveals. It looks like there is trouble in paradise. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship continues to get more serious, but there's one person who isn't too happy with Blake's involvement with Gwen's kids: Gavin Rossdale. A source tells E! News that Gwen's ex-husband doesn't want his kids, Kingston Rossdale, Zuma Rossdale and Apollo Rossdale, getting close with the country crooner. "Gavin doesn't agree with [Gwen] having a relationship with Blake, and he doesn't like her bringing the kids around him," the insider shares. Unfortunately, the divorce has caused a "bit of bad blood" to run through both Gwen and Gavin, a second source explains. Over the past few months, Gwen's kids have gotten close with Blake and have learned to "love him," although that's hard for Gavin to bear. "If it were up to Gavin he would want to work it out with Gwen," the second source shares. "He is still hurt it has turned out this way and now she is in love with another man." As for Gavin, he's "not dating anyone right now." A publicist for Gavin couldn't be reached for comment. Blake and Gwen put their love on center stage, literally, Sunday when they performed their song "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" during the Billboard Music Awards. Once cameras stopped rolling, an eyewitness told E! News that Blake grabbed Gwen's hand as they relaxed and took their gear off on the stage. "They looked very in love during the song and after," our eyewitness said. "And when Blake grabbed her hand, it was like he was very proud to be up there with Gwen. He looked at her like he is crazy about her." Just last month the No Doubt songstress and Gavin reached a settlement in their divorce, which they originally filed for in August 2015 after Gavin allegedly had an affair with their nanny Mindy Mann. According to the documents, obtained by E! News, Gwen was to keep all the rights to her music from No Doubt, while Gavin would keep the rights to his Bush music. Gwen would also have complete control over her fashion lines, L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers; however, the singer agreed to put 25 percent of her L.A.M.B profits in a trust, presumably for their three kids. Neither would receive child or spousal support and agreed to share joint legal and physical custody. (Eonline)

Blake Shelton Has Something "Brewing" After Buying Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol Boutique in Oklahoma. One of Miranda Lambert's special properties in Oklahoma has a new owner. E! News can confirm the "Over You" singer's Pink Pistol boutique is closed after more than three years in business. In a surprise twist, however, Blake Shelton has decided to purchase the property. "As a resident of Tishomingo, I am very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area," Blake said in a statement to E! News. "We all as a community appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind... I was offered the opportunity to buy them and I have a plan brewing." He later replied to one fan on Twitter confirming that "PP left town. I bought the building it used to be in though!!! And yes something is brewing..." According to local news outlets, Miranda made the decision to close the Tishomingo boutique in order to expand The Pink Pistol location in her hometown of Lindale, Texas. The newly expanded boutique will reopen in August. "It feels full circle to have everything under one 'roof' basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale," Miranda explained in a press release obtained by Taste of Country. "I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store." She added, "Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home." Putting business deals aside, both Blake and Miranda have full plates ahead of them this summer. Both country superstars have plans to hit the road for a variety of concerts across the country. And Miranda continues to expand her businesses with her new pet line slated for a summer release. Lena Dunham Is Done Apologizing All the Time Thanks to Beyonce and Her Dad. Lena Dunham is over over-apologizing. In an essay titled "Sorry, Not Sorry: My Apology Addiction," posted on LinkedIn Wednesday, the 30-year-old Girls creator and star talks about breaking a habit of apologizing excessively. "Beyonce's Lemonade was a massive cultural event for a lot of profound reasons, not least of which because it gave women a melody to which they could sing the words 'Sorry, I ain't sorry,' again and again (and again)," Dunham wrote, referring to a song on the singer's new album. "This refrain...allowed women to express (safely, while pretending with all their might to be Bey) just how sick to death they were of apologizing." "I say sorry all day, which doesn't make sense considering I'm not a warlord, a drunk driver, or a pizza delivery guy speeding down 6th Avenue on a fixed gear bike scaring the s--t out of pedestrians," she added. "I am a woman who is sometimes right, sometimes wrong but somehow always sorry. And this has never been more clear to me than in the six years since I became a boss." She said her father challenged her to not apologize to anyone for a week. "But what do you replace sorry with? Well for starters, you can replace it with an actual expression of your needs and desires," she wrote. "When I replaced apologies with more fully formed and honest sentiments, a world of communication possibilities opened up to me." Dunham has apologized publicly over several comments many have deemed controversial. In 2014, Dunham made headlines over accusations that she molested her younger sister Grace when they were children, which is how many people interpreted an event she described in her book Not That Kind of Girl. The actress and writer said in a statement she does "not condone any kind of abuse under any circumstances," adding, "If the situations described in my book have been painful or triggering for people to read, I am sorry, as that was never my intention." She also apologized for using the term "sexual predator" in a comical way in the book. Also in 2014, Dunham drew controversy for making a molestation joke on Twitter and later apologized for it. Last September, she caught heat for saying in an interview, "I used to read Gawker and Jezebel in college and be like, 'I can't wait to get to New York where my people will be to welcome me.' And it's like, it's literally, if I read it, it's like going back to a husband who beat me in the face -- it just doesn't make any sense." Dunham later apologized, saying she "wasn't making a joke about domestic violence" but was rather "over-emphatic" in her attempt to "capture how damaging the Internet can be." In her essay, Dunham said she is "not negating the power of a real apology, especially in the workplace." "One of the most important things a person in charge can do is own their mistakes and apologize sincerely and specifically, in a way that shows their colleagues they have learned and they will do better (I'll try, OK!?)" she added. The wrath of Kimye! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are threatening to sue security guard Steve Stanulis with a multimillion-dollar lawsuit after he slammed the reality star and the rapper in a recent interview, a rep for the couple confirms to Us Weekly. "The West family will no longer tolerate the spreading and selling of fake stories in a desperate, transparent and shameless attempt for publicity at their expense," the rep tells Us in a statement. "As such, the Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense." Stanulis -- who first worked for Yeezy during New York Fashion Week in February and then for a few days leading up to the 2016 Met Gala on May 2, according to the New York Daily News -- chatted with the NYDN and several other publications about the time he spent with West and Kardashian. In his interview with the NYDN, Stanulis alleged that he was fired after the "Famous" hitmaker, 38, thought he was flirting with Kardashian, 35. The aspiring actor also claimed that West exhibited bizarre behavior during his time working for the mom and dad of North, 2, and Saint, 5 months. A source close to Kardashian and West tells Us that Stanulis, who has previously worked for Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, "was never fired, nor was he ever employed full time." According to a letter about the lawsuit, Stanulis violated a confidentiality agreement by speaking out about West and Kardashian. This isn't the first time the powerhouse pair have taken legal action against someone who has violated such a contract. When YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley secretly filmed and released a clip of West's proposal to Kardashian at AT&T Park in San Francisco in 2014, they sued Hurley, who was forced to pay the couple $440,000. Us Weekly has reached out to Stanulis for comment. (US Weekly)

On Tuesday, two men-including the former producer for the forthcoming HBO drama series The Deuce-were arrested on drug charges related to the mysterious death of Kiersten Cerveny, a married Long Island doctor who died in the doorway of a Manhattan apartment building last October, PEOPLE confirms. According to a statement from the U.S. Department of Justice obtained by PEOPLE, HBO producer Marc Henry Johnson, 51, and James Holder, 60, both face federal drug and conspiracy charges related to Cerveny's death. Investigators claim Cerveny, a 38-year-old mother of three, was found unresponsive in Holder's apartment building on the morning of Oct. 4, 2015. The night before her death, investigators allege Cerveny and Johnson spent the night in various New York City bars where they allegedly drank and snorted cocaine. The Department of Justice's statement alleges Holder sold cocaine out of his Chelsea apartment for more than a decade. In addition to being friends, Holder also allegedly sold cocaine to Johnson, who, along with actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, produced the pilot episode for the impending HBO series The Deuce, which stars James Franco and focuses on the rise of New York's porn industry during the 1970s. At around 4:30 a.m. the morning of Oct. 4, 2015, Cerveny and Johnson went to Holder's home, where police claim the doctor overdosed, the statement claims. Investigators say video surveillance footage shows Johnson and Holder dragging Cerveny's unconscious body into the building's first-floor vestibule. Police say Holder then left the building, carrying an unspecified object as he walked away. Meanwhile, Johnson called 911 and asked for an ambulance. According to the DOJ's statement, Johnson refused to provide his name to the 911 operator and would not describe the nature of his relationship with Cerveny. Johnson and Holder both appeared in federal court in Manhattan on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. "Drugs destroy lives and communities," the statement quotes U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara as saying. "The charges unsealed today against James Holder and Marc Henry Johnson are a reminder of that. And the work of the DEA, NYPD, and State Police in this investigation is also a reminder of law enforcement's commitment to stem the distribution of dangerous drugs in our communities." Both men are being held on unspecified bail amounts. It was unclear Wednesday whether either defendant has retained an attorney who could comment on their behalf. (People)

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince George Meet Winnie-the-Pooh During Special Birthday Visit to Buckingham Palace. Everyone is celebrating Queen Elizabeth II II's 90th birthday -- even our childhood friend, Winnie-the-Pooh. In a newly released picture book freshly pressed author Jane Riordan and illustrator Mark Burgess, the beloved group of iconic characters from the Hundred Acre Wood unite to find the perfect present for the monarch and hand deliver it to Buckingham Palace. All of the beloved figures of the classic, including the honey-obsessed bear, his human friend Christopher Robbin and their trusted pal, the authoritative Piglet, return for the latest addition to the collection aptly titled Winnie-the-Pooh and the Royal Birthday. The edition, which will release on Wednesday, marks a special milestone not only for the 90-year-old royal, but also for Pooh Bear himself, who is celebrating his 90th year in publication in 2016. If you've been trying to get to London, but just can't swing the trip, this picture book operates like a convenient virtual tour of all of the city's most celebrated spots, including the Tube, Trafalgar Square and, of course, Big Ben. After watching the Changing of the Guard, Pooh finally set eyes on the Queen and maneuvered his way to the front of the crowd to deliver his thoughtful birthday message. However, Queen Elizabeth wasn't the only member of Buckingham Palace to make their way into the book. In a gratuitous twist of fate, Piglet runs into none other than 2-year-old Prince George. "He was much younger than Christopher Robbin and almost as bouncy as Tigger," the book described. "It must be a very great thing to be ninety years old," Pooh concluded as he, Christopher Robbin, Piglet and Eeyore walked hand in hand home. A very great thing, indeed. (Eonline)

Ramona Singer got her sexy back thanks to plastic surgery. "I'm feeling really good," the "Real Housewives of New York" star told the Daily Mail. "A weight has been lifted off me and that's reflected in my face and my spirit and my body." Singer, 59, who split from husband Mario Singer after 25 years of marriage in August 2014, transformed herself by enhancing her best assets, despite protests from the professionals. "I've always had great breasts. My legs and my breasts have always been great features," she explained. "In fact my doctor, she thought I was nuts, she didn't even want to touch my breasts." "She was like, 'Are you kidding? You have gorgeous breasts and your breasts are better than most 25-year-olds'. What are you doing?'" Singer continued. The mom to 21-year-old daughter Avery also revealed the nip and tuck gave her the ultimate confidence boost. "I did it for me ... I wanted to feel sexier," she said. "And before, because I am over 50, let's face it, gravity hits. It wasn't hitting that badly, but I wanted to look perkier. I wanted to be perky the way I was in my 30s." As for a face lift, Singer intends to skip that surgery altogether. "Most girls my age over 50 have had the complete face lift, the neck lift and I don't really need that," Singer shared. "I'm into working out and staying fit." And while she doesn't plan to go under the knife again, the Bravo beauty admits she's satisfied with the results. "I wanted to be able to look just as good with a brassiere as without one," she said. (Page Six)

Proving music is the universal language, Fox News superstar Megyn Kelly and staunch Democrat Alec Baldwin shared a friendly chat at New York Philharmonic's spring gala. Kelly -- who's had to deal with more than her fair share of blowhards recently -- was nevertheless friendly to Baldwin and wife Hilaria. Kelly and hubby Douglas Brunt sat with gala co-chair couples Beth and Christopher Kojima, Samantha Boardman and Aby Rosen, and Emily and Harold Ford Jr. Kelly left the gala, which raised over $1.16 million, a little early, spies said, and was impressively reporting on-air within a half-hour of her exit. Meanwhile, Baldwin was spotted hamming it up with Darth Vader, who was there with a host of Stormtroopers. The event celebrated famed composer and conductor John Williams, who wrote the "Star Wars" score among many other iconic movie soundtracks. (Page Six)

The dark deeds of the model industry revealed Model agencies have long been criticized for many things, enlisting underage girls and rarely using models who aren't of sample size, and now they're in hot water again. New allegations claim that five of the UK's top agencies have been working as a shady secret cartel to drive up prices. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has accused FM Models, Models 1, Premier, Storm and Viva of collusion and price fixing, having agreed "a common approach to pricing". The Association of Model Agents - the industry trade body - reportedly circulated emails to its members, encouraging agencies to negotiate higher fees. The CMA said that it was high street chains that were being overcharged for hiring models, rather than designer brands. "The allegations concern prices charged to a range of customers, including high street chains, online fashion retailers and consumer goods brands," said Stephen Blake, senior director of the CMA's cartels and criminal group. "The CMA alleges that these five model agencies sought to achieve higher prices in negotiations with their customers by colluding instead of competing." Storm launched the careers of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne; Premiere started the career of Naomi Campbell and Models 1 looks after clients including Erin O'Connor and Linda Evangelista. FM Models went into liquidation earlier this year. The findings are currently only provisional and none of the agencies have yet commented on the allegations. The conspiracy reportedly took place from April 2013 to March 2015. (British Glamour)

Are Celebrities Like Amy Schumer Helping or Hurting by Firing Back at Social Media Trolls? Just when you thought it was safe to go back on Twitter and Instagram after six hours of the week-long break you promised yourself at New Year's, social media is once again ablaze with one of those phenomena that only exists in the first place because of the medium itself. Let's call it the preemptive shush. Most of us would probably agree at this point that, once you set aside all the positives of social media (the loosening of the binds that can tie up the flow of information, the ability to unify people in seconds, birthday wishes on Facebook) you're left with a bunch of headaches and a whole lot of people "building their brand." If anyone could've explained to you what sort of annoyances would come with having a Facebook page, would you have signed up anyway? Yeah, same. So here we are. But it's not just us regulars. A high percentage of the famous (from 15-minute and moderate to extremely and iconic) is on social media as well, and they have to deal with annoyances we really can't imagine. While it's always been bad enough seeing your face -- with makeup or not -- on magazine covers with headlines that make you wonder either who "told all" or who they're actually talking about ('cause it ain't you!), social media now gives people the equivalent privilege of being able to knock on your door and tell you to your face how much you suck. Let's take a second to give it up to the possessors of the thickest of celebrity skins, including Kim Kardashian and her entire family, Justin Bieber, the members of One Direction, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Chrissy Teigen, Anne Hathaway, Amber Rose, Lena Dunham, Taylor Swift and... well, the list is long because the trolls are real. (Or perhaps it's just one troll, who's awfully busy under that bridge...) But then again, almost everyone mentioned above has also been compelled to address complete strangers at one time or another in response to some sort of hateful remark slung via social media. Just yesterday Hathaway -- who you'd think would be part-callus by now -- felt compelled to backtrack on an ultimately harmless meme that she didn't create, because of the Instagram reaction. And poor Niall Horan of 1D had to finally acknowledge the insanity because he was seeing bodily threats directed at not just him, but at his nephew as well, on Twitter. WTF, people?! It's easy enough to say, Well, don't do social media then. But while everyone's -- yes, everyone's -- life would go on if we all just stopped, it's not fair to tell celebrities to not partake in this increasingly big portion of life if they're so worried about their little ol' feelings. That's akin to saying, Oh, you're getting bullied at school? Well, then don't go to school. And just like with kids on the playground, it can be so, so difficult to not get pulled into a fight, or at least strike back when a bully throws the first punch. However, on social media, while it's hard to resist the desire to have the last word (as if there's such a thing), the option to ignore is right there for the taking. And you'd think that the more grown-up a person is, the more times they've had to face the beast head-on and laugh in its face, the easier it would be to ignore the unwelcome input of strangers. Or is it actually impossible and we've been fooling ourselves all along? Because if Amy Schumer -- make that Vanity Fair cover girl Amy Schumer -- can't just freeze out the haters, who can? Though a quick skim of the comments on recent pics of Schumer in a swimsuit while on vacation turn up largely positive, "when can I come hang with you"-type missives, other pics have their share of completely random, "you're not funny-and-worse" themed comments as well. As previously acknowledged, anonymous fools can be disgusting and endlessly stupid. So Schumer captioned a new vacay pic with this yesterday: "I meant to write 'good morning trolls!' I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you've never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone. This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy and also like miss trunchbull from Matilda. Kisses!" "Internet feedback! Paparazzi! What a morning!" she screengrabbed her Instagram and acknowledged the to-do shortly afterward on Twitter. And then there's Chrissy Teigen, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl who's had to go from fielding all sorts of absurdities directed at her to a flood of criticism about her parenting methods, including backlash about how she even conceived in the first place and whether she's allowed to go out to dinner with her husband a week after giving birth. Earlier this month, after tweeting a humorous post about spray-tanning around her breast pump outline, her fans predicted a backlash. So Teigen followed with, "it happens for anything and everything. I have decided to stop worrying!" What do we think of this? By preemptively trying to put haters in their place, is Schumer standing up for herself or just stirring the pot? Empowering herself or unwittingly empowering the trolls? Has Teigen given up or is she truly rising above? Because either way, now it's a thing. Once there's acknowledgement and engagement, it's as if it matters that a handful (a relative handful, at least compared to the millions of people who contribute to these celebrities' ongoing success) of creeps have called Schumer fat or doubted Teigen's mommy skills. And it doesn't. Or at least it shouldn't. These smart, savvy, absolutely lovely women have so many fans -- as evidenced by the flood of comments expressing support for Schumer's caption and Tiegen's tweet, an outpouring of love and prayer hands that could warm any heart. Except the hearts of those who are going to persist in trying to get a rise out of those who have voices that we actually listen to for a reason. If there was some way to know that making cracks at the haters was actually going to do something, or if Instagram could then go about smiting trolls as if they were nipples (obviously they can't and shouldn't, it's a free country, but... in a world that had no slippery slopes... ya burnt), then it might be a battle worth fighting. But we see it both ways. Who doesn't enjoy seeing something hilarious and/or truly inspirational on Twitter and Instagram interspersed with the commentary that helps no one? This peek at their off-camera personalities is also part of the reason why celebs such as Schumer, Teigen, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham have such devoted followings on social media -- and why their voices matter so much to people in general. Who can blame any person who's subject to so much noise for trying to get a word of reason in edgewise? No one should have to sit idly by while they're repeatedly attacked by those who've got nothing to lose (such as a TV show, a world tour, a record contract, an endorsement deal or all the various things that entertainers actually have). And sometimes, a certain type of comment, such as those directed at Niall, certainly merits a good bashing. But it's a tricky business, bothering to engage with those who've contributed nothing to the daily discourse other than the spelled-out equivalent of a burp. In hindsight it seems not worth it, but in the moment, and after coming under repeated fire... "Well, hello there, trolls! Ready to be exposed for what you really are?!" Perhaps an eloquent, wink-wink nod at social media's ills really does a service. It may not help change the culture for good, but it does make it more enjoyable for a minute. (Eonline)

You Will Love Adele Even More After She Accidently Forgets the Words to Her Song in Concert. Nobody's perfect, not even the beloved Adele. As the "Hello" singer continues her world tour in support of her latest album 25, fans received a minor surprise in concert this week. While Adele was singing one of her favorite songs, she experienced a bit of a brain-fart for lack of a better word. "S--t, wrong words," she was overheard saying to the crowd before bursting into laughter. "S--t, s--t, s--t. Should I sing the right words? Sorry." As you likely could have guessed, fans had no hard feelings with the human mistake. In fact, you could hear hundreds of audience members laughing and cheering as Adele carried on like a pro. With some digging, we've learned that this isn't the first time the Grammy winner has made a minor error while performing. Earlier this month, Adele stopped her performance in Manchester because she didn't know "the f--king words" to a song. When the lights turned on, some audience members delivered a standing ovation at the innocent mistake. To be fair, how can you be mad at a performer who recently twerked on stage and helped fans get engaged live in concert. Oh yes, and there's also that incredible voice when performing huge hits including "Someone Like You" and "Chasing Pavements." Lucky for fans in the states, Adele is about to kick off the North American portion of her tour this July. Spoiler alert: Tickets are pretty hard to come by. Until then, at least we have her new music video for "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" available for us to watch again and again. (Eonline)

Stop Right Now! Victoria Beckham Has a Secret '00s Hip-Hop Album She Never Wanted You to Hear. Thank you VERY much, Victoria Beckham! You're a Goddess. Unbeknownst to fans everywhere, the former Spice Girl made a beautifully '00s hip-hop album, back when Von Dutch was a thing. Sadly for us, she never released it, and sadly for her (we assume, although we love it), it was leaked, Mirror says. She may have had her mic shut off during Spice Girls concerts, but she showed us what her pipes could do on this album. We've collected some of our favorite demo's you must hear (and we mean must) if you call yourself a VB fan. Curious how it all came to be? In 2003, Mrs. Becks partnered up with Roc-A-Fella's Damon Dash, to create some jams together. These not-yet-polished tracks wound up online seemingly by way of eBay. The album that never happened is titled Come Together. It was auctioned off of the retail site and boom! Now 17 songs are online for everyone to enjoy. Turn up some of our favorite demos from the leak. Anyone else getting some major Blu Cantrell/Samatha Mumba vibes?! (Eonline)

The Weeknd and Belly Cancel Jimmy Kimmel Live! Performance Over Donald Trump Appearance. The Weeknd and Belly canceled their performance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday -- and they're blaming Donald Trump. The musicians had been scheduled to perform "Might Not." "I feel like the way I was raised was to be able to see through all the titles in this world -- from religion to race," Belly said in a statement. "I just didn't want to feel like I was a part of a celebration for somebody who has beliefs that majority of us don't agree with." Later, his rep told E! News, "Belly, a man of the world who grew up as a minority immigrant in Canada, has a strong conviction against Donald Trump's radical beliefs. A strong believer in equal rights for all, Belly is taking a stand against a man who has made many negative and detrimental remarks about minorities, women, various religious groups and more. His television debut was meant to support the release of his soon-to-be-released mixtape Another Day in Paradise. Belly hopes that his fans understand his point of view, and he plans to make it up to them very soon." The Weeknd has not commented on the cancellation. Trump -- who himself bailed on a Jimmy Kimmel Live! taping last fall -- did not address the stars' absences when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show. Even so, tensions were running high. Outside the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, people trashed Trump and criticized Kimmel for giving the Republican presidential candidate such a prominent platform on late-night TV. Kimmel -- who recently announced that he's running for the office of Vice President -- joked that he "would like to be considered" for the No. 2 job. "Can I make a suggestion about this Vice Presidential thing? Why don't you do this just like Celebrity Apprentice? Why don't you get these guys all in a room -- or women, whatever you have -- and then each week it would be the highest-rated show in the history of television? You eliminated one person and they go back to wherever the hell they came from. See, this is why I would be your best Vice President!" During his interview, Kimmel also asked Trump if he would consider holding a debate with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. "If he paid a sum toward charity I would love to do that," Trump said, noting that a Sanders vs. Trump debate "would have such high ratings." In response, Sanders tweeted, "Game On. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7th primary." Sanders' response was also aimed at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton; earlier this week, she declined to face off with him in a previously agreed upon debate. After Wednesday's taping, Trump headed to investor Thomas Barrack Jr.'s L.A. home for a campaign fundraiser. He's expected to return to California Friday for a meeting in Fresno with agricultural business leaders. He's also scheduled to attend a Memorial Day rally in San Diego. (Eonline)

"The shots just came out of nowhere," a concertgoer tells E! News. "Everyone was so freaked out and ran out. It was an extremely scary scene." Reps for T.I. referred all inquiries to the NYPD. The Record Company Earns First Adult Alternative Songs No. 1 With 'Off the Ground'. The Los Angeles rockers rise 2-1 with their debut single. For the second time in 2016, an act hits No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs chart (dated June 4) with its first song to appear on the radio-based ranking. This time, it's Los Angeles' The Record Company, which earns its first No. 1 on the chart with "Off the Ground," the band's debut single, rising 2-1. The trio follows in the footsteps of Kurt Vile, whose "Pretty Pimpin" hit No. 1 on the chart in March; the Philadelphia-based rocker made his first trip to Adult Alternative Songs with the song (after nearly five years of appearing on various other charts. To compare, in 2015 the chart saw two rookie No. 1s the entire year: Houndmouth's "Sedona" and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats' "S.O.B." Conversely, 2014 was much more bountiful for new artists, with Bastille's "Pompeii," Sam Smith's "Stay With Me," Hozier's "Take Me to Church," Milky Chance's "Stolen Dance" and George Ezra's "Budapest" all rising to No. 1 in each act's first chart visit. "Off the Ground" has also shown crossover potential. The track is bubbling under the Mainstream Rock Songs chart this week (up 75 percent in plays), with early champions in the format including WLZX Springfield, Mass. (48 spins in the tracking week), and WMMR Philadelphia (10 plays). The trio's debut album, Give It Back to You, debuted and peaked at Nos. 5 and 23 on the Heatseekers Albums and Top Rock Albums charts, respectively, dated March 5, with 3,000 copies sold. Juan Gabriel Sings Cover of Creedence's 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain': Exclusive. The chances that Latin crooner Juan Gabriel would record a cover of a Creedence Clearwater Revival song may have seemed, well, kind of like rain coming down on a sunny day. But Gabriel has now joined the ranks of Rod and R.E.M. with a new version of the Creedence classic "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" The 66-year-old leading Mexican singer-songwriter, who won the Top Latin Album honor for his Latin chart-topping duets set Los Dúo at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, penned his own Spanish version of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" titled "Gracias al Sol." The sunnier take on the John Fogerty song that foreshadowed the 1972 breakup of CCR will be included on the bilingual album Quiero Creedence, a Latin tribute to the Bay Area hitmakers, set for release by Concord Picante on July 29. Listen to Gabriel's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain (Gracias al Sol)" now, exclusively on Billboard.com. "It's my favorite CCR song, and I didn't mess with it -- just added a couple small mariachi guitars, vihuelas, to give it a little funky feeling," Gabriel's producer, Gustavo Farias, says of the recording. "There are a couple nice violin lines, too, so there's a little of Juan Gabriel's personality and the essence of Creedence." Gabriel is known for his diverse repertoire but is most revered for his love songs, delivered with high drama. On his version of "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," the Mexican icon rocks it out with vintage groove. Other artists on the CCR tribute include L.A. band Ozomatli, who recorded "Bad Moon Rising"; Mexican alternative band Enjambre take the timeless hymn "Who'll Stop the Rain"; Texan Chicano rock siblings Los Lonely Boys play "Born on the Bayou"; Mexican rock legends El Tri perform "Proud Mary"; Salvador Santana is joined by Juanes and Ozomatli's Asdru Sierra on "Molina"; ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, who recently released his own Latin-tinged album, joins La Santa Cecilia's La Marisoul on "Green River"; and Los Lobos also appear with the song "Bootleg." Spanish rocker Bunbury sings a Spanish version of "Run Through the Jungle." CCR's catalogue, recorded on Fantasy Records, was acquired by Concord in 2004. (Hollywood Reporter)

Meek Mill Reignites His Feud With Drake In Brand New Freestyle! Don't Listen, Nicki Minaj! Meek Mill doesn't seem to want to get over his beef with Drake! The rappers have been feuding since last summer, after Mill claimed Drizzy hired a ghostwriter for his verse on R.I.C.O. Several diss tracks and Twitter squabbles later, there seemed to be a ceasefire -- until Nicki Minaj's boyfriend rolled in the new year by taking shots at the Hotline Bling rapper in yet another diss track. And we guess Meek didn't get the response he wanted from Champagne Papi, because he just threw even more shade at Drake in a brand new freestyle! Joining forces with Fabulous for a remix of Fat Joe and Remy Ma's single All The Way Up, Mill fires several shots at his nemesis -- circling back to his original claims that the 6 God doesn't always pen his own raps. He spits: "This is hip-hop / You ain't write it, don't record it / I don't know how they gettin' down 'cross the border... Views from the projects / N*gga I'm the prospect." Wow, someone is really trying to poke the bear! (Perez Hilton)

Hollywood star Tom Cruise cheated death in the Columbia Space Shuttle disaster, The Sun can reveal. The "space nut" actor, 53, had hoped to join the fateful U.S. mission after being given secret astronaut training by NASA. All seven crew members on the flight were killed in the tragic disaster which took place when the shuttle blew up over Texas while re-entering Earth's atmosphere 13 years ago. But The Sun can reveal that Cruise was supposed to be part of the voyage after being given secret training by NASA. In the end he had a lucky escape from the doomed trip. Film director Toni Myers, who directed Cruise on flick "Space Station 3D," revealed: "Tom wanted to be an astronaut, he flies his own GulfStream IV Jet and he's qualified as a pilot." "He was very enthusiastic about doing 'Space Station 3D' but the deal was he also wanted to fly in the Space Shuttle." "He had a very good chance of doing so but then the accident happened and that was the end of that." Tom has always been interested in astronomy and even played an astronaut in 2013 film "Oblivion." To prepare for the trip he was given an induction course by NASA in Florida and was taught how to replicate walking in a space suit by wading in a water tank. The so-called "space nut" even forced NASA to re-design their entire website during the early 2000s. He also once told The Sun of his plans to pay £130,000 ($145,639) for a seat on Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic space flight. However, he is yet to say whether he has changed his mind since its test flight crashed and killed the co-pilot in 2014. The actor has also previously admitted to believing in aliens -- something which relates to his religion of Scientology. Discussing extra-terrestrial life, he said: "I don't think you can actually count it out." "It might be a little arrogant to think we were the only ones in all the galaxies throughout the universe -- but I've never met one!" The 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia exploded over Texas, Louisiana, in 2003 when a piece of foam insulation broke off and struck its left wing, leaving all seven astronauts on board dead. (Page Six)

Robin Wright is enjoying a delicious dish of schadenfreude now that her ex-husband Sean Penn's movie "The Last Face" was savaged by critics. One insider told me, "Robin is thrilled the movie bombed. She has too much class to say so publicly, but this was her baby." The film was a passion project that Wright tried to develop for several years. She was attached to star in it with Ryan Gosling, and then Javier Bardem, but could never get financing. When Wright divorced Penn, he optioned the script by Erin Dignam and put his then-girlfriend, Charlize Theron, in the starring role as a humanitarian doctor in war-torn Africa. As a source told me two years ago, "This is obviously a vindictive move against his ex-wife." This week, my insider told me, "It would have killed her if Charlize had won an Oscar in the role that was meant for her." Wright's publicist declined to comment, as did Penn's and Theron's. Some speculate that Theron split with Penn last year when she saw a rough cut of "The Last Face." Wright recently launched a socially conscious sleepwear company with designer friend Karen Fowler, Pour les Femmes, which will donate all profits to Action Kivu and Synergie des Femmes, two organizations for female victims of violence in Congo. The "Wrightnaissance" will continue with her big-screen comeback in the "Blade Runner" sequel, and as Amazon warrior General Antiope in "Wonder Woman." Another Hollywood insider noted that Wright is riding high with "House of Cards," and said, "She's quietly smirking while smoking by a window and banking all those sweet Netflix millions." Guillermo del Toro to Get Fantasia Film Fest Honor. The Montreal genre festival is also giving Takashi Miike a lifetime achievement award. Mexican horror master Guillermo del Toro will receive the Cheval Noir Award at the upcoming Fantasia Film Festival, organizers said Thursday. The Mexican director will be in Montreal to receive the career achievement honor. Previous winners of a Cheval Noir award include Ken Russell, Tobe Hooper, Andrzej Zulawski, anime pioneer Mamoru Oshii and John Landis. The prestigious genre film festival will also host a master class by del Toro, who is also best known for fantasy and horror classics like Pan's Labyrinth, Pacific Rim and the gothic thriller Crimson Peak. Fantasia will also give Takashi Miike a lifetime achievement award, as the prolific Japanese filmmaker brings the sci-fi pic Terra Formars to Montreal for its North American premiere. As the first wave of Fantasia lineup titles were unveiled for the event, which takes place July 14-Aug. 2, the fest is to give Steven Shainberg's Rupture, which stars Noomi Rapace and Peter Stormare, a world premiere. There's also a special screening for David F. Sandberg's horror film Lights Out, which stars Teresa Palmer, Maria Bello and Billy Burke. Fantasia will also feature world premieres for Spanish director Mateo Gil's It's Alive, No It's Realive, starring Tom Hughes; Argentine director Daniel de la Vega's The White Coffin; and The Unseen, the feature debut by Canadian director Geoff Redknap. The festival's full lineup will be unveiled on July 5. (Hollywood Reporter)

WWII Drama 'Anthropoid,' Starring Jamie Dornan, to Open Karlovy Vary Festival. Sean Ellis' film, also starring Cillian Murphy, tells the real-life story of the assassination of a top Nazi general. The world premiere of Sean Ellis' new film Anthropoid, which tells the real-life story of the wartime assassination of a top Nazi general in Prague, will open the 51st edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in July. Based on "Operation Anthropoid," in which British-trained Czech assassins were parachuted into Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia tasked with killing SS General Reinhard Heydrich, the film stars Jamie Dornan (50 Shades of Grey) and Cillian Murphy. Shot between July and September last year on location in Prague and on Czech military training grounds and at Barrandov Studios, where the interior of the Orthodox Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, where Heydrich's assassins were finally cornered, was rebuilt, Anthropoid explores one of the most audacious operations of World War II. Heydrich was the main architect of Hitler's "Final Solution." The film, which also stars Charlotte Le Bon, Ana Geislerova and Toby Jones, follows the actions of two soldiers from the Czech army-in-exile. Josef Gabcik (Murphy) and Jan Kubis (Dornan) are parachuted into their homeland tasked with finding a way to kill one of the best-protected Nazis in Europe. "Since the film takes a look at a key event in Czechoslovak history, the assassination of Heydrich, we are glad that our festival will symbolically host its world premiere," Karlovy Vary festival president Jiri Bartoska said. Ellis presented the film last year at a Karlovy Vary press conference, where he spoke of the 15 years of "detailed research" he put into the 1942 assassination before writing the script. Ellis and cast members, with the exception of Murphy, will be at the film's premiere in Karlovy Vary on July 1. Heydrich's death sent shock waves through the Nazi elite and prompted them to raze the village of Lidice, murdering the men and deporting the women and children to concentration camps. The film is produced by Mickey Liddell's LD Entertainment, along with Pete Shilaimon and, from the Czech Republic, David Ondricek and Krystof Mucha of Lucky Man Films. Mucha has also long been a senior member of the festival's management team. U.S. distribution rights have been purchased by Bleecker Street. The producers are in talks for the film's distribution in other countries, the festival said Thursday. The festival runs July 1-July 9. (Hollywood Reporter)

Gulfstream Pictures Acquires Rights to Richard N. Goodwin's Play About Galileo. 'The Hinge of the World' is the first play by Goodwin, whose book 'Remembering America' was the basis for the film 'Quiz Show.' Gulfstream Pictures has acquired the feature film rights to Richard N. Goodwin's play The Hinge of the World, which focuses on the clash between astronomer Galileo Galilei and Pope Urban VIII, it was announced Wednesday by Gulfstream partners Mike Karz and Bill Bindley. Goodwin's play explores the science, faith and politics as it depicts how Galileo tried to convince the 17th century pope that Earth was not the center of the universe. "The battle between Galileo and Pope Urban really plays out in an exciting and intriguing way, with the earth's true place in the world hanging in the balance," Bindley said in announcing the deal. Hinge is the first play by Goodwin, the former presidential speech writer, who served as an aide to John F. Kennedy and counsel to Lyndon B. Johnson and also served as special counsel to the Legislative Oversight Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives. His 1988 memoir Remembering America: A Voice From the Sixties, which recounted the investigation into the Twenty One Quiz Show scandal, was the basis for Robert Redford's 1994 film Quiz Show. Goodwin, who resides in Concord, Mass., with his wife, presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, was repped in the deal by WME. Team LC, rejoice! There might be more of everyone's favorite good girl coming your way. Lauren Conrad took to Instagram Wednesday to share a picture of herself working on her fashion line-except she oh-so-casually tagged the cameraman behind her as MTV. And if that wasn't enough to send her fans into a frenzy, her caption was just as big of a tease: "Never thought I'd see the day....," she wrote. Conrad, 30, got her start in reality TV on MTV's Laguna Beach in 2004 before moving on to The Hills. Conrad famously exited the show in 2009 after attending costar Heidi Montag's wedding to Spencer, and former Laguna Beach cast mate Kristin Callavari then took over until the series concluded in 2010. Conrad-who tied the knot with musician William Tell in 2014-went on to become a successful fashion designer, lifestyle expert and bestselling book author. A rep for Conrad had no comment when reached by PEOPLE, and MTV is not commenting, but the network does hint that we should be keeping an eye on Conrad's Twitter account next Tuesday, May 31, which will mark the show's official 10-year anniversary. So, is there more LC coming to the small screen? For now at least, the rest is still unwritten. (People)

Was It Lights Out for Darhk in the Arrow Season 4 Finale? Caution! This article contains spoilers for the latest Arrow episode, "Schism." If you haven't watched, turn back now! Well that was almost quite the disaster. Season four of Arrow took a bow by saving the world as usual, and all it took was a little bit of hope and hacking. While Oliver found that he, even when armed with the hope of Felicity (which is a concept we just won't comment on with anything other than a heavy sigh), was not strong enough to repel Darhk's increased powers. With nukes headed towards every major city in the world -- including Star City -- Oliver hopped on top of a car and used the power of speech to rally his fellow residents together to disarm Darhk completely. It worked, and it turned into a straight-up fist fight, until Oliver stuck an arrow through the guy's heart. Meanwhile, Felicity and Curtis hacked a few things and disabled all the nukes. Yay! There seemed to be some question as to whether Darhk deserved to die for what he did, but it's kind of hard to see any alternative actually keeping Darhk at bay. Now, the city is safe for at least the next couple of seconds, and Oliver has been appointed interim mayor since Ruve is dead. Unfortunately, not all is well for Team Arrow, because they've all gone their separate ways. Diggle was still feeling the guilt after Laurel's death and after killing his brother, so he reenlisted in the army in order to get some time to clear his head away from his family and friends. Thea took off, saying she's done being a superhero. Lance and Donna also split, leaving Oliver, Felicity, and Curtis behind. As for Olicity, they're not back together, but the possibility of a reconciliation doesn't seem so unlikely in the near future. She's not going anywhere, and she seems to the only person who understands Oliver's internal fight to balance the darkness and the light inside him. Over in flashback land, Oliver was forced to kill Tania after she begged him to, and then he finally called Waller for a ride off that godforsaken island. What did you think of the night's finale? Arrow returns to the CW in the fall. (Eonline)

What the Heck Is Flashpoint and How Will It Affect The Flash Season 3? Still scratching your head over what season three of The Flash will look like after Barry went and screwed everything up in the season two finale? Um, same. The timeline is going to be completely different -- how is that gonna work?! While we'll have to wait until, like, October to find out exactly what the new direction of the show will be, there's one place we can turn to for clues: Flashpoint, the comic written by DC boss Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert that appears to be what The Flash is moving toward. Yes, children, this is your summer reading assignment. Here's the deal: Flashpoint sees Barry Allen wake up and discover that everything is different -- the heroes are the villains, the villains are the heroes, Batman is actually Thomas Wayne, not Bruce -- basically everything is backwards. It turns out that all of this came about because Barry Allen himself went back in time to save his mother, Nora, and royally screwed up the timeline. The entire Speed Force was pulled into Barry, completely changing the history of his allies. Eventually, Barry is able to see three different timelines -- which then merge and create the New 52 DC Universe. Barry is able to remember the alternate timeline as well as the current one. This opens the doors for many characters to join the show: heroes Citizen Cold/Leonard Snart (hello, Wentworth Miller), Kid Flash (Wally can actually get powers!), Batman, Cyborg, etc., and villains Aquaman, the Amazons, the Furies, Heat Wave, the Joker, and more. Yeah, it's kinda complicated, so you should probably start brushing up before your mind really gets blown with season three's brand new timeline! The Flash returns to the CW in the fall. (Eonline)

Rose Byrne, Seth Rogen and James Corden Perform 'Lion King' Musical in an L.A. Crosswalk. "The thrill of live theater, and the thrill of death." James Corden invited Neighbors 2 stars Rose Byrne and Seth Rogen to join him in a Lion King musical performed on a crosswalk in Los Angeles. Byrne was extremely excited about the crosswalk performance and was cast as both Nala and Timon. Rogen was relegated to the role of "scenery, trees, birds, rocks" and other tiny parts. "Why am I a tree?" Rogen asked Corden, "Honestly, I wasn't expecting to do this at all, but now that I'm here, I feel like I could do a part with talking. Did you see the Steve Jobs movie?" The Late Late Show host would not budge on the casting, and the group dressed up in costumes and jumped out on the crosswalk to sing popular songs from the Disney film, running back to the sidewalks when the light changed "The stakes are higher," Byrne said, when asked about how she felt. "The thrill of live theater, and the thrill of death." Corden yelled that if someone gets hit by a car, technically they are an animal and thus roadkill on any insurance documents. By the end of the musical, Rogen had impressed Corden, particularly with his performance as the moon. Rogen, however, was still not entertained. "Did I enjoy it more than I thought I was going to? No," he said, deadpanning. "I probably enjoyed it less than I thought I was going to. Someone's going to get killed doing this, and then they'll be like, 'Why did we do that?'" (Hollywood Reporter)

Claire Danes to Host Prestige PBS Art Program. The 'Homeland' actress joins the eighth season of 'Art 21,' premiering Sept. 16, which focuses on top artists from different cities, from L.A.'s Edgar Arceneaux to Chicago's Theaster Gates. On Season 5 of Showtime's Homeland, Claire Danes' Carrie Mathison scoots around the world trying to escape her would-be assassin. On Season 8 of PBS's Art 21 -- premiering Sept. 16, 2016 -- Danes is the seeker, introducing fine artists from around North America as the show's host. Danes is the first star host of Art 21, full name Art in the 21st Century. Over the years, notables such as John McEnroe, Steve Martin, John Waters, Margaret Cho, David Alan Grier, Isabella Rossellini, Sam Waterston and Grant Hill have introduced artists on the show, but Danes will provide a backbone that the program has never had before as its full-season host. "Growing up in a family where art was a part of everyday life, my parents taught me to question the world around me," Danes said in a statement released by the show's publicists. "Artists today influence how we see the world, how we express ourselves, and how art can transform society." The season also features a new set of prominent directors, including Pamela Mason Wagner, who won an Emmy in 2001 for her work on PBS's American Masters; Deborah Dickson, a three-time Academy Award nominee for her stirring documentaries; and MacArthur Foundation Fellow Stanley Nelson, who has won three Emmys, a Peabody and the Special Jury Prize at Sundance twice. Art 21 has two Peabodys of its own, and long has been admired in the art community for its no-frills, but in-depth look at the art making process through the lens of some of the most celebrated artists of our time. Over 100 artists have been featured in the show's eight-year run, including internationally recognized names Ai Weiwei, Marina Abramovic, Catherine Opie, Mark Bradford, Matthew Barney, Richard Serra and Kara Walker. Also for the first time, the show will feature one location for each episode -- Chicago, Mexico City, Vancouver, and Los Angeles -- and four artists from each location. "I had the pleasure of directing two hours for Art 21 this season -- Los Angeles and Mexico: two great cities and eight fantastic artists," Dickson told The Hollywood Reporter in an email. "Working with these eight artists was mind-stretching and inspiring. It has been a wonderful challenge to try to communicate the ideas and the beauty of their work." THR reached one of the artists Dickson directed in Los Angeles, Edgar Arceneaux, by phone. Dickson followed Arceneaux as he prepared for Until, Until, Until... , a play that won Arceneaux the Malcolm McLaren Award given by New York City's performance art biennial, Performa. The play focuses on Broadway actor Ben Vereen's shocking 1981 performance at President Ronald Reagan's inauguration. In tribute to early vaudeville performer Bert Williams, who was often forced to perform in blackface, Vereen did the same -- before a broadcast audience of millions on ABC. "I think my experience was a little different than most people, because I was writing my play Until Until Until... that we were putting on in New York, and the people that are typically behind the camera, like Deborah, and even their camera person, they became my friends and confidants, and I would float ideas past them as I was working on the piece," said Arceneaux. "They were there to shoot, but at the same time, off camera, I would bounce ideas off them and use them to alleviate my fears about making a play." Since Danes is the host of the show, Arceneaux didn't really have any interaction with her, but he was excited to find out she would be introducing his artwork. "I don't know what Claire's relationship to the art community is, but I've been a fan since she was in Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio back in the day," he said. And I thought she was great in Temple Grandin. She definitely is one of the great actresses out there." Not lost on Arceneaux is the importance of Art 21, which broadcasts art to a broad audience. "Art 21 is so prestigious, and the people they have on there are people from across the globe who are making important work, so to be included is an honor," said Arceneaux, who currently is working on a piece for Current: L.A., the city's new public art biennial, as well as a big solo show at the MIT List Visual Arts Center in Massachusetts, opening in October. "It's been a real experience having them around." The featured artists will be Stan Douglas, Brian Jungen, Liz Magor and Jeff Wall from Vancouver; Natalia Almada, Minerva Cuevas, Damian Ortega and Pedro Reyes from Mexico City; Edgar Arceneaux, Liz Larner, Tala Madani and Diana Thater from Los Angeles; and Nick Cave, Theaster Gates, Barbara Kasten and Chris Ware from Chicago. "It was so much fun to work with the artists from Chicago in the episode I directed for Art 21," said Nelson in an email to THR. "I learned so much about contemporary art and the creative process that I did not know." (Hollywood Reporter)

Amazon's New Pilot Season Includes Shows With Kelsey Grammer, Matt Bomer, Lauren Ambrose. The offerings include dramas 'The Last Tycoon,' based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's final work, and 'The Interestings,' directed by Mike Newell, and six kids shows, the latter starring the likes of David Arquette and the voice of Zoe Kravitz. Amazon on Thursday unveiled a star-studded lineup for its next pilot season, which will again give users an opportunity to help choose the next Amazon original series to be made available to Prime members. Among the big names starring are Kelsey Grammer, Matt Bommer, Lauren Ambrose, David Arquette and Zoe Kravitz, who is part of the voice cast of a kids pilot. The new pilots include two one-hour dramas and six kids shows, all scheduled to debut on June 17 exclusively on Amazon Video in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan. The Last Tycoon, a co-production with TriStar Television, is an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's last work, starring Grammer and Bomer. It follows Hollywood's Golden Boy (Bomer) who battles father figure and boss (Grammer) for the soul of their studio. Lily Collins (The Blind Side) also stars. "In a world darkened by the Great Depression and the growing international influence of Hitler's Germany, The Last Tycoon illuminates the passions, violence, and towering ambition of 1930's Hollywood," according to a show description. The pilot was written and directed by Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, The Hunger Games), who originally developed the show at HBO, and executive produced by Ray and Christopher Keyser (Tyrant), who serve as showrunners, Joshua Maurer, Alixandre Witlin and David A. Stern (all Rosemary's Baby). Mad Men's Scott Hornbacher serves as co-executive producer of the pilot, along with Perri Kipperman (Billions). The Interestings is adapted from Meg Wolitzer's bestseller and a co-production with TriStar Television. It follows a group of artistic teenagers who meet at summer camp in 1974. Their friendships are tested by tragedy, success, failure and secrecy. Ambrose (Six Feet Under) plays an aspiring actress who uses her wit to compensate for what she is lacking in the glamor, money and talent her other friends seem to have. The pilot also stars David Krumholtz (Numb3rs), Jessica Pare (Mad Men), Matt Barr (Sleepy Hallow), Gabriel Ebert (Ricki and the Flash), Jessica Collins (Rubicon) and Corey Cott (Public Morals). BAFTA winner Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fires, Four Weddings and a Funeral) directed the pilot written by Lyn Greene and Richard Levine (Masters of Sex, Nip Tuck). In addition to them, Michael De Luca (The Social Network) and Lindsay Sloane (Covert Affairs) serve as executive producers. Amazon's new kids pilots includes one live-action show, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, featuring Arquette, based on the classic Saturday morning series from the 1970s. The show centers on two brothers, Johnny and Scotty, who discover and befriend Sigmund, a friendly sea monster and his dysfunctional brothers Slurp and Blurp. The five animated kids pilots are The Curious Kitty and Friends, Jazz Duck, Morris and the Cow, whose voice cast includes Kravitz (Divergent, Mad Max), Michael Pena (Ant Man), Thomas Lennon (Bob's Burgers) and Erik Griffin (Workaholics). Toasty Tales and Little Big Awesome. "We're focused on bringing customers compelling, must-see TV and we accomplish this by going directly to them for input," said Roy Price, vp, digital video and Amazon Studios. "Our process has proven to work time and time again. Their feedback has helped create series that have become fan favorites among critics and customers." (Hollywood Reporter)

Bradley Cooper's Limitless Gets Canceled By CBS -- See All The Other Network Shows That Got The Axe This Year! Bradley Cooper couldn't even save this show! A TON of shows have already gotten the axe this year (see our list below!), and sadly CBS has added another freshman to the list -- they just canceled Limitless! The failed drama starring Jake McDorman and Jennifer Carpenter even had Cooper guest star in four episodes, but apparently that wasn't enough to save the sinking drama. Just last week, President Glenn Geller said at their pre-upfronts breakfast that they were shopping the series around to various outlets. However, it looks like that plan has fallen through as showrunner Craig Sweeny took to Twitter to share: I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched. -- Craig Sweeny (@CraigSweeny) May 25. Whether or not you care about Limitless, we're willing to be you're bummed about one of the SEVERAL other shows that networks canceled this year.
