Emily Maynard Gives Birth to Baby Boy: See Their Heart-Warming Family Announcement! And baby makes five! Maynard has given birth to a baby boy with husband Tyler Johnson, E! News has learned. The Bachelorette alum shared the heart-warming news on Instagram with an adorable photo of Maynard surrounded by their newest bundle of joy, her husband, their son Jennings Tyler and her 11-year-old daughter Ricki. "...oh heavenly day... God is good! {Ricki and I are officially outnumbered!}" Emily captioned the snapshot. Too cute! This is Maynard's second child with Johnson, whom she married in June 2014. She had her daughter with Ricky Hendrick, her NASCAR fiance who passed away in a plane crash in 2004 when he was only 24. Maynard gave birth to her second child, in July 2015 and teased in her People pregnancy blog that she should've remembered that she would be "super fertile" after giving birth. Right in the midst of her final days of pregnancy, the stunning blond joked to News, "I feel like I just had Jennings last week." Having already experienced pregnancy with both a daughter and a son, the former reality star wanted to keep the sex of her third baby a surprise. "I just figured we already have one of each," she told us. "As an adult, there are few surprises that you truly get and I just thought it would be fun and it's been really exciting. I haven't gone to my doctor and begged him to tell me yet." Instead, the only thing Maynard requested was good health for her baby. "I feel like as long as it's healthy, we'll be happy and we'll take [whichever sex]." Congratulations to the growing family! (Eonline)

Soon-to-Be a Father of Nine! Mel Gibson Expecting His First Child With Rosalind Ross. There's a baby on board for Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross! A rep for the actor confirms to E! News that the actor and his girlfriend of two years are expecting their first child together. The couple will welcome their little bundle of joy early next year, according to People, who broke the news. "Mel loves being a dad and he and Rose can't wait to be parents together. The last two years have been some of his happiest years he's ever had," a source close to the growing family told the mag. This will be the 26-year-old former equestrian champ's first baby and Gibson's, 60, ninth. He most recently fathered a little girl, Lucia, in 2009 with ex-girlfriend of one year Oksana Grigorieva. Previously, the Braveheart star was married to Robyn Moore for 26 years before separating in 2006. The former couple share eight children together, ranging in age from 36 to 17-years-old. Gibson recently made headlines in early September when his latest directorial-effort Hacksaw Ridge received a 10-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, prompting many to dub the once-troubled star's return to Hollywood an undeniable "comeback." Earlier in the summer, E! News learned Grigorieva will only see $250,000 of the $15 million she was initially supposed to receive from the Oscar-winning actor due to the domestic abuse claims she made in an interview on The Howard Stern Show in 2013, according to court documents. Legal drama aside, looks like 2016 is shaping up to be a pretty sweet year for Mel! Congratulations, you two. (Eonline)

Bella Thorne's got herself a new man, and he's a good friend of her ex ... well, maybe not anymore. Thorne was caught kissing "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey in West Hollywood Friday and it doesn't appear like they're trying to keep it on the DL. You'll remember ... Bell and longtime bf Gregg Sulkin split last month and just a few weeks after, she posted a video making out with her female best friend. Tyler's had his run-ins with same sex situations too -- posting a video shouting "I'm Gay!!" -- only to take it back and say it was a show of support for the LGBTQ community. Young love at its finest. (TMZ)

Patrick Dempsey Has No Plans to Keep Up With Grey's Anatomy. Grey's Anatomy is dead to Patrick Dempsey. The actor, who left the series after 11 seasons last year when his McDreamy character was killed off, says he has no plans to continue watching the show. Season 13 premieres later next Thursday, Sept. 22. "For me, the first three seasons were the strongest and certainly the pilot and that first season before we knew what was going to happen will always be, I think, the strongest memories for me," Dempsey told me while promoting his new movie Bridget Jones's Baby. "But it's remarkable. It's still doing quite well and will continue to do well." Asked if he'd like to return to television full time, Dempsey said, "At this point, I'm open to everything." He says he'll "possibly" appear in a car racing series he's developing for AMC. "It's based on the book called The Limit about the F1 championships in the 1950s and 1960s." Dempsey admitted, "It's tough to get [professional racing] right. It's more than just the racing. It's what happens after you get out of the car and what is the drama, what is the conflict." Dempsey has said that he decided to leave Grey's and pull back from his own car racing to help save his marriage and spend more time with his family. Bridget Jones's Baby is in theaters now. Sophia Bush Pens Open Letter to Airplane Passenger From Hell: "You Do Not Get to Harass Me" Sophia Bush, we can hear you asking the all-important question: Are we there yet? As the Chicago P.D. star kicked off her weekend with an airplane ride, there was one unnamed passenger who appeared to be a major thorn in everyone's side. Ultimately, Sophia decided to share her personal encounter with the "random dude on a plane" on social media. "When you make a woman so visibly uncomfortable, that after you've ignored all visual cues to please leave her alone (one word answers, she pulls out a book, puts on a hat, she actually asks you to not speak to her with the tone and words you're choosing to use) that she finally GETS UP and MOVES SEATS, leave her alone," she wrote on Twitter Friday evening. "Do not continue trying to make conversation." The actress continued, "Stop turning around and looking at her. Stop leaning out of your seat and towards her body when she has to grab something out of the overhead bin above her original seat, and sadly also above you, midflight." Is it just us, or are we getting fired up with Sophia right about now? "And in my case, stop believing that you are entitled to make me uncomfortable because you 'watch my TV show' so I owe you some magical debt," she added. "I make it, you watch it. After that, the 'exchange' is done. You do not get to harass me, or any woman, because you think you pay our bills. You don't bro, I DO." Even through the difficult ride, Sophia was still absolutely open to taking photos with true fans at the airport as she responded to one fan's selfie with the words, "Thanks for being so sweet." After all, a little bit of airplane etiquette can sure go a long way. (Eonline)

Paul Johansson is gonna have to keep his distance from his baby mama and their kid after she claims he went ballistic over a food allergy scare. Mercedes Connor, the "One Tree Hill" star's mother to Paul's 5-year-old son, claims she and Paul got into a blowout in August when their boy started coughing after eating a cookie. She says their son suffers from a severe peanut allergy. Mercedes claims in legal docs Paul snatched the kid and attempted to leave her house with him ... accusing her of not giving him his medicine, and even putting hands on her before taking her phone and bolting. Mercedes says Paul returned their kid after a neighbor stepped in -- but adds she was left shaken from the incident ... just one example of abuse she says was building for years. A judge has ordered Paul to stay 100 yards away from her and their son until a hearing later this month. (TMZ)

Mark Wahlberg's Request for Pardon Over 1988 Teen Assaults Dropped. Mark Wahlberg's request for pardon over the 1998 assaults he committed as a teenager has been closed. A Massachusetts Parole Board spokesman said Thursday that the Oscar-nominated actor never responded to a letter asking if he wished to keep his request open. Without a response, the government had no choice but to close the pardon request. In 1988, then 16-year-old Wahlberg was convicted as an adult for assault from charges stemming from an attempted robbery of a convenience store. In the pardon petition, Wahlberg explained he attempted to steal two cases of alcohol from a man standing outside a convenience store. He wrote that he hit the person on the head with a wooden stick he was carrying, then ran down the block to avoid the police and encountered another man, whom he punched in the face. "I was detained by police a few minutes after that," he said in the petition. "While I was detained, the police discovered that I had a small amount of marijuana in my back pocket. During the incident, I was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics." Wahlberg was tried as an adult and ended up serving 45 days in jail for the assault case. As for why Wahlberg decided to request a pardon in the first place, he told E! News in 2014 it was because he felt he had done enough good deeds since then to make up for his crimes. "I've been spending the past 27 years trying to correct the mistakes that I've made," Wahlberg told us. "I'm not trying to gain a pardon because I feel like, well, now I'm rich and successful. I didn't ask for it five years, 10 years, 20 years, 25 years after the fact." He continued, "I feel like I have now gotten to a place where not only did I have a huge amount of remorse but I have done tons of work to better myself as a person, not as a celebrity." But Wahlberg told reporters at the Toronto Film Festival that he regrets asking for the pardon. "It was one of those things where it was just kind of presented to me, and if I could've done it over again I would never have focused on that or applied," Wahlberg said of the pardon application. "I didn't need that, I spent 28 years righting the wrong. I didn't need a piece of paper to acknowledge it. I was kind of pushed into doing it, I certainly didn't need to or want to relive that stuff over again." He admitted that he was grateful that the process allowed him to meet with one of his victims and apologize for what he had done. (Eonline)

Coolio and his crew were just cuffed at LAX for allegedly trying to get a loaded firearm through security. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the rapper and his team were leaving L.A. Saturday morning when they got flagged by the TSA. We're told a book bag belonging to the group contained a loaded gun. Our sources say a member of Coolio's crew claimed the bag, but witnesses have told cops it was Coolio's. Cops are currently reviewing video footage and taking witness statements to sort out who owns the gun and bag. A rep for Coolio tells us the gun belongs to the rapper's security guard but he's been detained for questioning and will be fully cooperative. At this time, it's unclear what type of gun was found. UPDATE: Cops tell us even though Coolio's bodyguard first claimed possession of the bag, a quick investigation determined other items inside it belonged to Coolio. Cops say the rapper had already boarded a plane and they took him off to join his guard for questioning. We're told Coolio fessed up to owning the bag and it was determined the gun had been stolen. Both were arrested for possession of a stolen loaded firearm. ANOTHER UPDATE: Coolio officially booked for possession of a firearm by a felon. (TMZ)

Security guards at a Kelly Clarkson show dragged a female fan from her front row seat and roughed her up because of her race ... according to the woman, who's filed a lawsuit. Andrea Ugalde says Staples Center security accused her of being in the wrong section, and asked her to leave. She says she showed them her ticket for the seat, refused to go and then things got physical. Security footage from the Aug. 2015 concert shows a woman -- Andrea says it's her -- getting dragged and carried by her hands and feet. Eventually, she's handed off to LAPD officers who handcuffed her. In docs, obtained by TMZ, Andrea says the guards punched and kicked her. She says the police hit her in the neck, back and shoulders. Andrea tells TMZ she thinks she was targeted because she's Latina. She claims the first security guard appeared Middle Eastern and the rest of them were white. She's suing Staples Center, the City of L.A. and some individual officers. Law enforcement tells us Andrea was arrested for misdemeanor battery that night, for allegedly fighting back ... however, the case was dropped for lack of evidence. We've reached out to the Staples Center and LAPD ... so far, no word back. (TMZ)

Cops investigating the possible murder-suicide of NASCAR superstar Robby Gordon's father say they've recovered a butcher knife near the body of Sharon Gordon ... TMZ has learned. Law enforcement tells us ... the knife was collected as evidence from the scene. Cops say the significance of its discovery is unclear at this moment. The Gordon family's attorney, Steve Nichols, tells TMZ ... the family believes the knife played an important part in what led to Bob taking his own life. Sources tell us the knife is a strong sign there may have been mutual combat between Robert "Baja Bob" and Sharon before their deaths. Police have said Gordon strangled Sharon and then killed himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Nichols tells us there's never been a history of violence in the Gordons' long marriage. (TMZ)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Prince William to the Rescue! The Duke of Cambridge Rushes to Help a Falling Dignitary. He may not be dressed in chainmail, but Prince William certainly looked like a knight in shining armor when he rushed to lend a needed hand. On Friday morning, the Duke of Cambridge and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton arrived at the Stewards Academy in Harlow, England for a charity event. However, upon greeting Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex Jonathan Douglas-Hughes at the high school, the 72-year-old dignitary fell backwards over a short concrete post on the ground and ended up laying on the floor. The 34-year-old royal sprung into action, offering Douglas-Hughes a hand as he propped himself back up while a concerned Middleton watched nearby. The mother of two stood out in the crowd in a blue polka-dotted sheath dress by Altuzarra. "Sorry about that," Douglas-Hughes told Prince William, who replied, "No, it's all right". Once Douglas-Hughes was on his feet, the royal pair continued with their event held in honor of their Heads Together campaign, a venture founded by Kate, William and brother Prince Harry to promote everyday mental well-being. "Catherine and I are really impressed by what we have seen of Stewards Academy, as we're both strong believers in schools where the emotional wellbeing of young people is nurtured and protected just as much as your learning and academic skills," William began in remarks to the crowd at the academy. As a component of their efforts to remove the stigma surrounding mental health, the royals have turned their focus to schools, where counseling and other services can be provided to help young people manage daily struggles. "Talking can make us realize that we're not alone. The opposite of talking is isolation and fear. Sometimes getting something off your chest is an important step in coping with a situation -- so you know that you're not alone, you're not failing, and that it is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed or sad at times," he continued. "To be honest, if we could end the old fashioned idea that feeling down is something to be ashamed of, something that you shouldn't burden others with, we would make our society a much happier and healthier place." Chloe Grace Moretz Embraces Ex-Boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham on Teen Vogue Cover. Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham may no longer be lovebirds, but this magazine cover has couple written all over it. As the cover girl for the October/November issue of Teen Vogue , on newsstands Sept. 27, Moretz appears on the front of the issue with her arms wrapped around a secret beau, who has his back turned to the camera. According to a source close to the magazine, that mystery man is her current ex-boyfriend. "Brooklyn Beckham was on set during Chloe's cover shoot, and appears in the cover image with her," the source told E! News. While their behind-the-scenes romance is memorialized in this photograph, in real life, Beckham and Moretz have already called it quits. After dating through the summer, news of their unexpected split broke in early September, though neither have addressed their reported breakup and their reps have not returned E! News' requests for comment. Still, Moretz's interview contains subtle red flags as the 19-year-old discussed the couple's struggle to find privacy. "We'll go out and there will be 15 paparazzi and we're just going to a grocery store," she told former co-star Julianne Moore during their interview. "We are real people and we're having real emotional experiences, and all this is happening around us. Trying to keep ourselves in our own little world is difficult." However, she did note that dating a man from a famous family gave them some common ground. "Getting into a relationship with someone who also has lived some of their life between cities, from L.A. to New York to London, is easier. We both understand that there will be times when we can't speak because we are too busy. Some of it is just based on trust," she continued to the magazine. "If you feel that you can trust each other and go eight hours without talking, then you have something that can withstand space and time." While their romance may not have ultimately withstood "space and time," it's clear from Moretz's remarks that she has a strong head on her shoulders. "Just try to keep your head above the water and don't get caught up in all the trash," she concluded. "I think another thing that is really helpful for young women to understand is that you're enough. You don't need that dress, you don't need that compliment, you don't need that post on social media. You, within yourself, are enough." (Eonline)

Kristin Cavallari Is Releasing a Cookbook: ''It's Going to Be a Reflection of How I Eat on a Daily Basis.'' Kristin Cavallari is dipping her toes in yet another business venture. The former Laguna Hills star turned entrepreneur revealed to E! News exclusively that she's releasing a cookbook! The celeb spilled the news during the Kristin Cavallari x Chinese Laundry and Emerald Dove presentation at Row NYC for Kia STYLE 360 today, telling us, "I'm so excited to announce that I've been working on a cookbook! I've been dying to talk about this for so long. It's such a blessing." Cavallari continues, "I've actually been working on it for the last couple of years with hopes I'd have a cookbook deal, and it's finally come true, and I'm so excited. It's going to be a reflection of how I eat on a daily basis." So just what does this mother of three eat on a daily basis? "I think with everything in your life, diet is all about balance. So I eat healthy 80 percent of the time, and the other 20 percent, I indulge. I enjoy it. I have fun eating whatever I want." She adds, "It's a lot of protein, a lot of veggies, a lot of beans, and those kind of sides. There's butter in it, real butter. Limited dairy, however. It's almost gluten-free, there's a couple pasta dishes made with brown rice pasta. A lot of desserts. I have a huge sweet tooth, I just use better ingredients, so I use pure maple syrup, I'm using spelt flour or oat flour, those kinds of things. I essentially eat whatever I want, I just use better ingredients." As for when you can snag your copy, Cavallari tells us, "It's coming out in the spring. Spring 2018, so it's kind of a while, but it's gonna be very light and fresh, using real wholesome ingredients." We're here for it. (Eonline)

Kanye West Finally Joins Instagram. Kanye West just became more accessible. The 39-year-old "Fade" rapper now has a verified Instagram account, amassing more than 234,000 followers within the span of a few hours. West has yet to follow any other users (including his wife Kim Kardashian), and he did not immediately post any photos or videos. Until now, Twitter had been the musician's preferred social media platform. West first toyed with the idea of trying another medium in March, tweeting, "I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition......no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... It's my art..." At the time, he also called his tweets "a form of contemporary art only compromised by people trying to tell me what to tweet and not to tweet... on artist trying to grab the paint brush..." Over the years, posers have pretended to be West on Instagram, much to his chagrin. He often set the record straight, like when he tweeted in 2013, "I DO NOT HAVE AN INSTAGRAM..." Why join now? West hasn't said. But midday Sunday, he shared his first picture -- of a car. West did not provide a caption. Perhaps Kardashian can give him some pointers. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star signed up for Instagram in 2012, sharing a selfie and writing, "Testing testing.... Testing out the effects." After thousands of selfies, Kardashian now has 82.8 million followers on the social app. Kim even published a coffee table book, Selfish, in the spring of 2015. In the dedication, the social media star wrote, "The pictures in this book bring back so many memories. Spanning almost a decade, they are only a small fraction of the thousands of selfies we considered for publication. From digital cameras, Polaroids to Blackberries and smart phones, these photo documents the evolution of my selfies. And as I printed them out and laid them on the floor to make a final edit, I reflected on my very public journey as a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother, this book is a candid tribute to all of my fans, who were with me the entire time." Former Grey's Anatomy Star Sara Ramirez Gets a Buzz Cut for a Worthy Cause. Short hair, don't care! Grey's Anatomy alum Sara Ramirez recently took the liberating plunge into the world of cropped 'dos, and boy is she rocking it. The actress shared a selfie of her chic buzz cut on Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy upon realizing her brunette locks were no more. Not to fret, Dr. Callie Torres went short for a great cause! Ramirez documented the often-terrifying before and after moment where her long braid was chopped right off, telling social media followers she'd be donating it to Locks of Love -- an organization that makes wigs for children suffering from medical conditions that cause their hair to fall out. "Whelp, this just happened! Welcome #Change #LetItGo," she captioned the snapshot, adding, "Donating to #LocksOfLove". Ramirez isn't the first celeb to chop her hair off in honor of those in need. Shailene Woodley donated more than eight inches of her locks to the organization in preparation for her role as a cancer patient in 2014's The Fault in Our Stars. And back in 2012, country star Kellie Pickler went short in solidarity of her best friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pro snowboarder Shaun White also chopped his signature orange waves clear off for the popular cause. Now this is a hair trend we can get on board with. (Eonline)

Wendy Williams Says Taylor Swift Is "Just Not That Interesting," Plus More of Her Candid Thoughts on Celeb Breakups. Don't get it twisted: The eighth season of The Wendy Williams Show will be just as candid as ever. Williams recently gave E! News a taste of what fans can expect ahead of the Sept. 19 premiere, and from the looks of it, no "Hot Topic" is off limits this time around. She'll be sounding off on the good, the bad and the ugly of celeb relationships, teasing us with a sneak peek into the couples she can't wait to weigh in on. Audiences will hear the latest on Blige and Martin "Kendu" Isaacs' divorce, and as for Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are-they, aren't-they status, Wendy says, "Although they've broken up before, so we don't know whether to believe that or not." One former duo she's reluctant to chat about? "I'm going to talk about Tom [Hiddleston] and Taylor, but Taylor Swift is just not that interesting to me." Ouch. Williams has never been shy when it comes to getting all too real about the songstress. Last year, she called Swift the "Queen of Mean," explaining, "Here's the thing, she's trying to trick us into thinking she's a good woman because she bakes and cooks and it's actually working right now on Instagram." But Wendy isn't all about throwing shade. She told us she's itching to know what really went down behind closed doors when Lady Gaga and Kinney called earlier this summer. "I am sad about Lady Gaga, because her music is great and the meat dress and all that stuff, but who I really like is Stephanie. Stephanie: the girl from New York who loves her mother and father. She was with Taylor Kinney for five years and they got engaged. That beautiful heart ring, and now they're over. What had happened?" Williams mused. Don't miss the start of season 8 of The Wendy Williams show Sept. 18, and catch her new HSN shoe line out Sept. 23. (Eonline)

Eric Stonestreet's getting rid of his L.A. starter home now that he's reportedly making $10 million a year on "Modern Family," and the sale is sure to put more money in his well-lined pockets. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath Studio City home is up for grabs for $1.099 million. Not bad, considering Eric bought the pad for $735,000 in 2008, before he got the "Modern Family" gig. There's a galley kitchen, a large living space with exposed beams and a large outdoor patio, but the place could use some updates. Eric listed the property with Tina Smith. We're told he's been renting it out for a while, which could explain the decor and the need for a new paint job. (TMZ)

Gwen Stefani Treats Blake Shelton and His Fans to a Surprise Performance of "Hollaback Girl." He's a little bit country, she's a little "Hollaback Girl." Fans attending Blake Shelton's concert Friday night may have been expecting his biggest hits including "God Gave Me You," "Honey Bee" and "Boys 'Round Here." But as it turns out, The Voice coach was ready to deliver that and so much more with a little help from his girlfriend Gwen Stefani. While performing at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, Blake brought Gwen out to the stage to perform their collaboration titled "Go Ahead and Break My Heart." As an added bonus, however, the lead singer of No Doubt was able to have the stage to herself for a performance of her own song titled "Hollaback Girl." "Hi Minnesota Gx," Gwen teased on Instagram hours before show time with a photo of her boyfriend. "#radperson Gx." Before you get too upset that you missed it, Gwen was gracious enough to broadcast most of the concert online through Periscope. And for those who aren't familiar with the streaming service, the proud mom also decided to post the video on Twitter. This certainly isn't the first time Blake and Gwen have remained by each other's sides on tour. Just last week, the "God Gave Me You" singer had a special guest at his hometown concert in Oklahoma. Yes, we're talking about Gwen. The happy couple posed for pictures with fans and even met Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin. As for speculation that weddings and engagements may be on the horizon, it's simply far too early to tell. "I don't know! God, I don't know. Everything is going so quickly," Gwen admitted while talking to On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "I'm in the moment and um...Look at me! You got me tongue-tied." (Eonline)

Surprise! Taylor Swift Sends America's Got Talent Winner (and Lookalike) Grace VanderWaal a Sweet Gift. When she auditioned for America's Got Talent, 12-year-old singer songwriter Grave VanderWaal was dubbed "the next Taylor Swift" by judge Simon Cowell-a compliment she called "truly amazing." And it looks like Swift might agree! After VanderWaal was crowned AGT's big winner on Wednesday, the 26-year-old "Shake it Off" singer sent her some "mad love" on Friday-in the form of an oversized bouquet of assorted flowers. The lookalike pre-teen shared her reaction to the gift on Twitter-jumping up and down and screaming in surprise. "Words can not explain how honored I am for this," she wrote. "Thank. You. SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!" While the gift marks a full-circle moment for VanderWaal, the young ukulele player's musical inspirations range beyond the "Bad Blood" singer. In fact, she's a big fan of Swift's friend-turned-rival Katy Perry. "Not so much the sound but as a person, I would say Katy Perry inspires me because you can always see that she's being true to herself," Vanderwaal told Teen Vogue. "She focuses on her music and even turns down big producers," she continued. "Her whole career and music is about her being herself. I want to be more like that." Perry sent VanderWaal some love on Twitter too-along with some advice. She wrote: "Congrats! You have it. Protect it and keep playing and writing. It will always serve you." Swift and Perry may have been two big names to send VanderWaal support after her win, but they're not the only ones. She was showered with love from the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Reese Witherspoon, Jason Mraz and Henry Winkler. As for Cowell, while he still sees the Swift comparison, VanderWaal's win also reminded him of another reality show winner – one that happened 14 years ago, before VanderWaal was even born. "That moment at the end, it reminded me of the Kelly Clarkson moment," Cowell said after the finale. "You know, when they said, 'And the winner is Kelly Clarkson?' I kind of had that same feeling again when they read her name out, and I saw her reaction and she was literally in pieces. I like that though." (People)

The season two premiere of Scream Queens just got a little bit more exciting with news that Lady Gaga will be premiering the music video for her new single "Perfect Illusion" during the hour. And to get us even more pumped for this double-whammy of bad ass ladies, Fox has released a new teaser that includes our first look at the video. Like the cover art for the single come to life, the sneak peek sees Gaga getting down the beat as she swings her microphone over her head while a crowd of adoring fans dances along. When Scream Queens returns for its second season, the action will be moved from its original college campus setting to what looks like the world's creepiest hospital, which Cathy Munsch now owns and operates. Returning alongside Jamie Lee Curtis are everyone's favorite Chanels (Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd), as well as Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Niecy Nash, and Glen Powell. They'll be joined by new series regulars John Stamos, Taylor Lautner, James Earl, and Kirstie Alley. SNL fave Cecily Strong and Arrow vet Colton Haynes will also guest star. "When they got there it just made sense," Roberts told our own Erin Lim of Stamos and Lautner joining when the cast stopped by E! News Comic-Con suite in July. "It's like six degrees of separation on Scream Queens. We all know each other in some weird way, which is so fun." We're not sure which we're more pumped for: the Scream Queens season premiere or the "Perfect Illusion" video world premiere? Scream Queens season two premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. on Fox. Calvin Harris Releases "My Way" -- and It Includes a "Curve Ball." Calvin Harris is doing things his way. The Scottish DJ and music producer released his new single "My Way" late Thursday night. "Why wait to say, at least I did it my way / Lie awake, two faced," the hit maker sings. "But in my heart I understand / I made my move and it was all about you / Now I feel so far removed." "My Way" is now available for purchase on iTunes and is streaming on Apple Music and Spotify. "[The] song's kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thin. Then, you're way more comfortable out of it," the 32-year-old told iHeartRadio after premiering his latest track. "And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn't know how to work out how it sounded." Harris chose to use his own vocals for "My Way" rather than collaborate with another artist, as he's done before. "The time [was] right. I like to sing on a song every two or three years or so. I just kind of thought it was a bit of a curve ball," he said. "I kind of like the idea of just tracking something out without a celebrity guest feature, and I think the vocal works, so why not?" "My Way" is "probably" the last song he'll drop in 2016. "I did something with Big Sean for him, which he said might be out this year -- which I really hope it is, because I love that," Harris said. "Apart from that, that's it. 'One song at a time' -- that's my new mantra. Try to make each song as good as it can possibly be. I'm not trying to do an album. I'm just trying to do good music." Harris' last single -- "This Is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna and co-written by his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift -- is currently at No. 7 on the Billboard 100 charts after 19 weeks. The song peaked at No. 3. It's also ranked No. 5 on the Radio Chart, where it peaked at No. 2. (Eonline)

Lance Bass Supports Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake Collaboration: "I Want Them to Dance Their Asses Off." Add Lance Bass to the long list of music fans hoping for a Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake collaboration. In case you missed the big news, E! News' Marc Malkin was able to chat with the "Suit and Tie" singer last week and get his reaction to possibly working with the pop superstar. As it turned out, J.T. was totally open to it. "Sure! Absolutely, absolutely," he shared at the premiere of his Netflix concert documentary film Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids. "I have a 17 month old so I don't get the headline news. I apologize for not being in the know... I'm accessible, give us a call!" So what does Lance think of the latest development that got so many music fans pumped? Well of course he's thrilled at the possibility. "Justin is down to collab with a lot of fun people and there's no love lost between those two and they've already collabed together. I just hope that it's something like the Janet Jackson/Michael Jackson "Scream," he explained to E! News exclusively at Entertainment Weekly's Pre-Emmy party at Nightingale Plaza. "I want it to be up tempo, I want them to dance their asses off, yeah I think it could be revolutionary." Here's a thought: What if Lance joins in on the collaboration too? "If I was invited, I totally would," he joked. "I'd freaking sweep the floor out of them, geez!" Just last month, Britney participated in a fan Q&A for Most Requested Live with Romeo where she was asked to reveal her dream collaborators. Gwen Stefani, Aerosmith and J.T. just so happened to make the list. We know, it's pretty huge. Until that day comes, it's all about celebrating the best in TV as Emmys weekend continues all across Los Angeles. Candace Cameron Bure, Mary J. Blige, Shiri Appleby, Laverne Cox, and Cuba Gooding Jr. were just some of the famous faces who stopped by the A-list party presented by L'Oreal Paris. (Eonline)

Stevie Wonder and members of Prince's inner circle will highlight a family-sanctioned Prince tribute concert in St. Paul on Oct. 13, organizers announced Thursday. Prince's family originally planned to hold the show at the new NFL stadium in his hometown of Minneapolis. However, organizers said that it will be at the smaller Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CDT Monday via Ticketmaster and the arena's box office; some will cost $19.99 in tribute to one of Prince's hits. The lineup also includes Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal and Mint Condition. Prince's inner circle will be represented by Morris Day & The Time, Judith Hill and Liv Warfield. The New Power Generation led by Morris Hayes, along with members of 3RDEYEGIRL, also will perform. "It's an all-star mix of classic and new artists, Prince-inspired as well as Prince family-type artists," said organizer L. Londell McMillan, a longtime attorney for the late superstar who is helping to manage his estate's entertainment assets. Prince's family first announced the show in late July, after his death of an accidental painkiller overdose in April. But details were slow to come out. McMillan said it took a lot of work and time to put the details together because so many artists were involved. He also held out the possibility of additional tribute shows at some point. The wait frustrated Prince fans across the country who had made travel reservations without any guarantees of tickets, including Angela Reardon, of Birmingham, Alabama, who booked her flights, hotel and rental car two days after the first mention. But she was philosophical about the long silence on the lineup. Having been a fan for 38 years, she knows Prince himself had a habit of waiting until the last minute before announcing his concerts. "Just to be there with the Purple fans -- that's important," said Reardon, who's also booked a VIP tour of Paisley Park, the studio complex in suburban Minneapolis where Prince lived. The change from U.S. Bank Stadium to the arena that's home to the NHL's Minnesota Wild was a "business and creative decision," McMillan told The Associated Press. He said he thought they could have sold enough seats at the stadium, but the decision wasn't just about selling tickets. Another factor was that they wanted to stick with the date announced by the family because so many fans had already made travel plans. "For this kind of show, you want it to be intimate. You want it to be right," he said. The Xcel Energy Center can seat up to 20,000 guests depending on how it's configured, compared with 50,000-55,000 for concerts at the stadium. However, its acoustics are considered to be very good for a hockey arena. The sound was muddy for the football stadium's inaugural concerts last month, by Luke Bryan and Metallica. McMillan said he attended both those shows. While he had high praise for the stadium and its staff, he did note that "Prince was a stickler for sound." Prince held the record for most sell-outs at the Xcel at three in 2004 until Taylor Swift tied him last September, according to the arena's website. It's telling how many fans booked travel without knowing any details, said Jeremiah Freed, aka Dr. Funkenberry, a longtime fan and friend of Prince who hosts a podcast and runs a website. "I really hope for the fans' sake that it's everything they want it to be and more," Freed said. (Page Six)

Following in Taylor's footsteps? Calvin Harris released a new song, "My Way," on Thursday, September 15, and fans think that the lyrics are dissing his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift. The Scottish DJ sings on the track, and he discussed the meaning of the lyrics in an interview with iHeartRadio on Thursday. "[The] song's kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then you're way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job or it could be a relationship," he said. "I kind of had the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn't know how to work out how it sounded." The lyrics for the song include lines like, "Why wait to say, at least I did it my way? Lie awake two faced, but in my heart I understand," and "I made my move and it was all about you. I feel so far removed. You are the one thing in my way." Harris, 32, and the "Bad Blood" singer, 26, split in June after dating for 15 months, and Swift quickly rebounded with Thor star Tom Hiddleston (as Us Weekly exclusively reported earlier this month, they have since gone their separate ways). The split between the Grammy winner and Harris was not completely amicable -- Harris went off on the pop star in July after it was revealed that she wrote the lyrics and melody for his hit "This Is What You Came For," which features Rihanna. The music producer later said he regretted lashing out at his ex. "It was completely the wrong instinct. I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled," he told British GQ earlier this month. "It felt like things were piling on top of me, and that was when I snapped. I'm not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters. I'm a positive guy." Fans tweeted their theories about Harris' new song being a dig at Swift, who has famously dissed her exes in her songs. "Calvin Harris playing Taylor Swift at her own game with his new tune," wrote one commenter. "So Calvin Harris has just released a song about Taylor Swift #Karma #WhatGoesAroundComesAround," tweeted another. "'You were the one thing in my way,' @CalvinHarris repeats over and over, oops!! Is he singing to @taylorswift13," another wrote, while a Swift fan warned, "@CalvinHarris If that's the case, wait 'til @TaylorSwift13 releases a complete album .. Just for you, oh oh .. #MyWay." Skepta has scooped the Mercury Music Prize after beating the late David Bowie to the post. The grime star won the award for his self-released album that went to number two in the charts earlier this year. The record explores his anger at British politics and police harassment. Talking of his win, the 33-year-old said: "I'm just so thankful. I've been trying to do this music stuff and work it out for so long." The prize ensures the winning artist receives £25,000 and Skepta has said he wants to give his winnings back to the disadvantaged. "Something positive, something to help other people feel as happy and as free as me," he said. "We're doing a project right now, actually, building a studio in my old estate to help the young kids do music." Judge Jarvis Cocker said the jury faced a tough decision who should walk away with the gong. Speaking, he said: "And we, as a jury, decided that if Bowie was looking down on the Hammersmith Apollo, he would want the 2016 Hyundai Mercury Music Prize to go to Skepta." Skepta is the second grime artist to win the Mercury Music Prize after Dizzee Rascal won it back in 2003. Round of applause all round. (British Glamour)

When you have a voice like Charlie Wilson and you're feeling patriotic ... you just let the National Anthem fly -- even in the middle of LAX. When we saw The Gap Band singer ... dude just felt like singing, and launched into the "Star-Spangled Banner" in front of an audience lined up for TSA ... and it was, pardon the phrase ... outstanding. Unlike most NFL playing fields these days ... everyone stood, some even put hand over heart. And speaking of the Kaepernick situation -- Charlie gave us his take, and he seems kinda on the fence. Akon Joins Tech Company Royole as Chief Creative Officer. "The future should be your only focus." Akon has entered into a partnership with the budding technology company Royole -- "a global pioneer and innovator of flexible displays, flexible sensors, and smart device technologies," according to the press release. Akon will serve as the Chief Creative Officer. On Thursday (Sept. 15), the company unveiled its latest product called Moon. The Moon is a foldable, portable, and compact 3D virtual mobile theater complete with noise-cancelling headphones. Bill Liu -- CEO of the company -- said he has always believed science and art should be living together, a sentiment Akon agreed with as he nodded and said "absolutely" from his seat in the audience. Liu said an artist like Akon -- "a global R&B icon, entrepreneur, and philanthropist" -- made for the perfect partner. Liu and Akon first met in a hotel lobby at 4 a.m., a chance encounter that marked the moment "destiny came together," Akon said when he later took the stage. Following the presentation, Akon told Billboard the best part so far has been unveiling it. He said meeting Bill -- "he had all the technology that was necessary and the all the resources to build something like [the Moon]" -- was a dream come true for him, as he didn't want to do something that has already been done, and has wanted to be involved with an innovative company like Royole for a long time. "Now, other ideas that [I have] are just unthinkable until you tangibly see it," Akon said. "[Royole] has everything we need to make those things happen, so I'm really looking forward to the future." The future is a headspace Akon feels most comfortable with, which is why he resonates with Royole's motto: "We do not predict the future, we create it." Even outside of the tech realm, Akon remains focused on what's ahead. The video for his most recent release -- the collaborative track with DJ Hardwerk "Tell Me We're Ok," which reached No. 3 on the Dance Club Songs chart -- has ties to Shell's #MakeTheFuture initiative, which further illustrates Akon's desire to be an active participant in conversations about the future. "The future should be your only focus," he said. "The now is here and gone tomorrow, so if you're not thinking about the future man, you're gonna go away along with the day. So I always want to be forward thinking and be a part of what's to come. Yeah, it's a lot more risk, of course, but that risk always pays out- the greater the risk the greater the reward is the way I see it." As for the future fusion of the Moon with music, Akon said he envisions the device allowing for an entirely new way to consume an album -- imagine navigating through an entire album via a 3D virtual theater. "Presentation is everything," he said. "You want to give the audience the best experience that they can ever encounter." (Billboard)

Kelsea Ballerini Scores First Top 40 Hot 100 Hit While Making Country Chart History. The top title on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, "Peter Pan" flies 43-35 on the Hot 100. Kelsea Ballerini celebrated her 23rd birthday Monday (Sept. 12) with the news that her song "Peter Pan" had become an historic No. 1: it took over atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart (dated Sept. 24), where it's her first leader, and Country Airplay, where it's her third topper in as many tries, making her the first woman to top the two tallies simultaneously. "Honestly, being the first woman to do this just inspires me to work hard and to make the best music I can," Ballerini beamed to Billboard upon learning of the twin country chart coronations for "Peter Pan." Here's another present for Ballerini to unwrap: her first top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, where "Peter Pan" ascends 43-35. Her first two entries (and Country Airplay leaders), "Love Me Like You Mean It" and "Dibs," reached Nos. 45 and 58 on the Hot 100, respectively. All three songs are from her debut LP, The First Time. "Peter Pan" wings 21-19 on the all-format Radio Songs chart (54 million in airplay audience, up 2 percent, according to Nielsen Music) and 43-27 on Digital Songs, vaulting by 57 percent to 27,000 downloads sold, helped by a 69-cent sale tag in the iTunes Store. Fifty Shades Darker Beats The Force Awakens for Most-Watched Trailer in 24 Hours. It looks like virtually everyone wants to get an eyeful of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele -- at least 114 million people so far. After the first trailer for the second installment of the Fifty Shades franchise debuted Tuesday, the clicks immediately flooded in. Whether they were devoted fans or simply curious about the next chapter in the tangled romance between a BDSM-inclined mogul and his new submissive, people from all over the world flocked online to watch the newly minted trailer. While Dakota Johnson's character certainly looked intrigued in the clip, it seems so was the rest of the planet. Within its first 24 hours, the two minute teaser had amassed 114 million views, according to The Hollywood Reporter. With that number of eyeballs, the film officially outranked December 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the trailer to rack up the most views within its first full day. The Star Wars trailer had previously held the title with 112 million views. Paltry, we know! Actress Eloise Mumford and author E.L. James took to social media to share their excitement over the trailer's debut. "(is your heart racing too?)," Mumford, who plays Anastasia's gal pal Kate, tweeted to fans. You're not alone, Eloise! Marcia Gay Harden, the actress behind Christian's mom, reacted to the news of the broken record. "Impressive, most impressive," she tweeted. The book's creator was equally pleased. "Huge. Huge. HUGE," James wrote on Twitter. "Thanks to the fans." The trailer will just have to tide fans over until the film officially debuts in theaters on Feb. 10. (Eonline)

Amy Adams Gives Us Creepy Vibes in Nocturnal Animals' Teaser Trailer. WTF is going on? That is the question you will ask yourself after watching this trailer. Fresh off another successful fashion week, designer Tom Ford has another project to be excited about -- his second feature film Nocturnal Animals (for those who don't remember, Ford was the mastermind behind the movie A Single Man, starring Colin Firth). The romantic thriller, starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, is based on Austin Wright's 1993 novel Tony and Susan, which tells the story of a successful LA art-gallery owner (Adams) whose ex-husband Edward (Gyllenhaal) shows up after nearly 20 years of no contact with a violent novel that clearly seems to be written about their relationship. "I did something horrible to him," we hear Susan say in the teaser trailer, which was released, and obviously, you're hooked on what they could be possibly talking about. Unfortunately (for us, but great for intrigue of the movie), the trailer raises more questions than answers. Why are there so many shower scenes? How many extreme close-ups of Amy's eyes do we need? What is Gyllenhaal freaking out about? Who did they just shoot? Again...WTF is going on?! Despite the lack of closure with any of these questions, the trailer will make you second-guess taking a blink, because you just might miss something. The film also stars Armie Hammer, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher, Laura Linney, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and already snagged some accolades, winning the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Venice Film Festival, and became a breakout hit at the Toronto International Film Festival. Nocturnal Animals hits select theaters Nov. 18. (Eonline)

Tom Ford Already Knows What His Next Movie Will Be, Won't Wait Another Seven Years to Make It. Tom Ford's directing debut A Single Man made him a very wanted filmmaker in Hollywood. The big screen adaptation of the Christopher Isherwood novel of the same name earned one Oscar nomination and three Golden Globe noms. Now, seven years later, Ford's second directorial outing, Nocturnal Animals, is already being touted for award season. Just last week, he won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. He promises not to wait as long to make his next film. "I know what it is but I'm not ready to talk about it yet," Ford told me at the Toronto International Film Festival. "It's not going to be seven years. Let's say two and a half or three. I think it takes three years if you're a director to make a film. You got to write it, you got to get it out there, you got to finance it, you got to make it [and] edit it so let's hope for three years." Nocturnal Animals follows an art gallery owner (Amy Adams) who confronts her past when she receives a copy of a disturbing novel written by her ex-husband. The cast also includes Armie Hammer as Adams' current husband, Jake Gyllenhaal as her ex and a character in the novel as well as Michael Shannon as a Texas detective and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the leader of a trio of violent hillbillies. Why did Ford wait so long between projects? "I opened 100 stores, had a child, he's four years old now and I promised myself and him that I wasn't going to make a movie for awhile," he explained. "I did not intend it would be seven years but I believe a movie should say something and this movie is really about loyalty. It's about finding the people in your life that you believe in, that believe in you, that you love and holding onto that. So it's a cautionary tale of what can happen if you don't do that. "Fortunately, Ford has those people in his life -- he married his husband Richard Buckley two years ago after being together for 27 years. Nocturnal Animals is in theaters on Dec. 9. (Eonline)

Watch out Star Wars fans, there's a different fandom that might just be more devoted than you. The first official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to the highly successful Fifty Shades of Grey, was viewed 114 million times in the first 24 hours of its release online, according to Universal. It debuted on Wednesday and was received across multiple platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, beating out Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, which received 112 million views in the first 24 hours. Within the first hour of its release, it was seen more than 2.5 million times on the Fifty Shades Facebook page alone, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The highly anticipated film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, and picks up after Anastasia leaves Christian. Based on E.L. James' hit literary series, the sequel features intriguing new characters such Christian's mysterious sexual mentor, Elena Lincoln (Kim Basinger). Fifty Shades Darker heats up theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. The final installment in the saga, Fifty Shades Freed arrives a year later on Feb. 9, 2018. (People)

Marvin Gaye's son is ready to go to war again in court ... this time to shut down the release of a biopic about his father, which he calls pure trash. Marvin Gaye III tells TMZ ... no one in his family is backing "Sexual Healing" -- the film music mogul Vassal Benford is producing. Gaye III's got a lot of problems with what he's seen of the film. He says it's untrue, exploitative, with a ton of holes and worst of all ... doesn't "hold the vibe of my father." He adds the family's attorney has already been contacted, and -- perhaps buoyed by their success in the "Blurred Lines" case -- they're confident the movie won't see the light of day. As for Benford, he tells us it's full steam ahead, and several superstars will be involved in recording the soundtrack. He even bought a baller ring as a gift for himself ... to celebrate making the movie. So, that's what's going on. (TMZ)

Aaron Tveit Quits His Job by Urination in Dating Comedy 'Better Off Single'. "These scenes were so much fun to shoot, as they live inside Charlie's head," the star of 'Grease Live!' and 'BrainDead' tells THR. "We had a lot of freedom to really go for things, no matter how fantastical." Aaron Tveit wants to quit his job in a creative way in Better Off Single, as shown in The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive clip. The dating comedy sees the Grease Live! and BrainDead star as Charlie Carroll who opts to enter unemployment and singlehood on the same day, and finds himself drowning in New York City's dating pool and suffering from surreal hallucinations on his journey to self-discovery. For example, interrupting a company-wide meeting and aggressively urinating all over the conference table. "This scene is one of the 'act breaks' in the film, which [charts] Charlie's progression into a bit of madness," Tveit explains of the scene. "Charlie is struggling with the life-sucking work he's been having to do, amidst many changes in his life. ... These scenes were so much fun to shoot, as they live inside Charlie's head. We had a lot of freedom to really go for things, no matter how fantastical." Written and directed by Benjamin Cox, the film also features Abby Elliott, Kal Penn, Chris Elliott, Analeigh Ashford, Lauren Miller Rogen and Shane McRae. "I'm hoping people have a great time watching these characters struggle with their problems in a very, very funny way," says Tveit, "and realize that we all have a lot of these same thoughts ... and that's okay." Gravitas Ventures releases Better Off Single in select theaters and on demand on Oct. 7. (Hollywood Reporter)

Fuller House Recast Alert: Find Out Who's Playing D.J.'s Ex-Boyfriend From Full House. When Fuller House returns for season two on Netflix, D.J. is in store for a blast from her past when she attends her high school reunion and runs into an old boyfriend. Only thing is, the audience might have a hard time recognizing the guy. Hal Sparks will be stepping into the role of D.J.'s ex-beau Nelson Burkhard, E! News has confirmed. The wealthy and rather obnoxious character was originally played by Jason Marsden on Full House. Despite the change in, you know, face, D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) will come to find that little else about her ex has changed. As he zeroes in on his former flame, he wants to make sure everyone knows he's still as wealthy as ever. As for why Marsden won't be appearing in the role this time around, the actor explained in a series of videos on Twitter that it was his choice not to step back into Nelson's shoes. "The folks at Netflix, the producers, the casting directors and the writers of Fuller House all tried ... to get me on the show," he said. "The decision was ultimately mine and mine alone." TVLine first reported the news. And Nelson won't be the only returning character with someone new portraying them in the episode, either. As previously reported, mean girl Kathy Santoni will also be spotted at the reunion, pregnant and quick with a snide comment for D.J. and Kimmy (Andrea Barber). However, Anne Marie McEvoy won't be back in the role. The new actress taking her place has yet to be announced. Do you think Sparks will do Nelson justice? Fuller House returns for season two on Netflix later this year. (Eonline)

This Is Us First Look: Meet Your New Parenthood. Still nursing that Parenthood-sized hole in your heart ever since the heartfelt family drama signed off for good last year? Well, prepare to meet the show that's going to have you saying "Bravemans who?" (We kid! Nothing will ever truly replace our love for the Bravermans.) NBC's This Is Us, premiering Tuesday, Sept. 20, stands poised to be TV's next great weepie -- and probably it's next big hit. The trailer alone has been viewed over 105 million times since, and we here at E! News who were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the series premiere ranked the show this fall's No. 1 new series. But don't take our word for it. Allow the This Is Us cast to explain why their show is so special -- in their own words. "You read hundreds of scripts a year, and I remember thinking to myself, 'This is the best pilot that I have ever read for television,'" Sterling K. Brown gushes about the show in this first look at the series, exclusive to E! News. "I think it's hard to completely wrap your head around the response that the trailer's gotten because as good as the trailer is, the show's even better," Mandy Moore adds. And trust us, she's not wrong. Ultimately, Brown notes, the show stands a chance of doing more than just making us reach for our Kleenex every Tuesday night. "It can make us want to be the best version of ourselves possible, and when I read the show, it makes me want to be a better me," he says. "And I think it's going to have that same effect on everybody who watches it." Created by Dan Fogelman (the writer of Crazy, Stupid, Love.), This Is Us tells the story of a unique ensemble whose lives intertwine in curious ways. As we meet them we discover that many of them share the same birthday -- and so much more. As if Brown and Moore weren't enough, the series also stars Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, and Ron Cephas Jones. This Is Us premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

Lena Dunham Says Goodbye to the Girls Set. The end is officially near... While we've known Girls was coming to an end since the beginning of the year, it's a still a difficult pill to swallow. Can anything really prepare us to say goodbye to one of our favorite television shows ever? Luckily, we still have a full sixth season to go before we actually need to start mentally and emotionally getting ready for that, but it's a different story for Lena Dunham and the rest of the the cast, who packed up part of the Girls set on Thursday. The actress took to Instagram to share a photo from the set, showing moving boxes and an empty apartment as she holds two lamps. "Today on set I said the words 'I've got my fake nipples on and I'm ready to party!'" she captioned the photo. "Gonna miss this job... #goodbyegirls #endofGIRLS #seriesfinale." Allison Williams also took to Instagram to reminisce on the history of the show and the fun times spent with Dunham. "#TBT. Feeling very sentimental," she captioned a black and white photo, dancing beside her bestie. "2 weeks left of shooting with this one. I don't want to go back to dancing on my own. Dancing with you is way more fun, @lenadunham." Meanwhile, HBO first announced the end of Girls in January, revealing the sixth season (airing in 2017) would be the show's last. "We look forward to creating a sixth season that will honor our amazing cast, crew, and fans," Dunham said a statement at the time. "And in the Girls universe, nothing ever ends too neatly." Executive producer Jenni Konner explained to E! News why they decided to set an end date so early in the game. "Judd [Apatow], Lena and I really felt like we know the ending now and once you know the ending, you can't just kick around for a while. You have to get there," she said. "The show's called Girls, not Women, and it just seemed like the natural time to wrap up." (Eonline)

Descendants 2 Scoop: Is King Ben Going Bad? See the First Photo From the Sequel. The VKs are back! Descendants 2, which will premiere in 2017 on Disney Channel, has started filming and E! News has an exclusive look at the Villain Kids in their second outing in idyllic Auradon -- and some exclusive details from the sequel. Here's what's happening as we catch up with the kids: "The story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit Descendants, as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney's most infamous villains -- Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as Villain Kids or VKs) -- try to find their place in idyllic Auradon," according to Disney Channel's official synopsis. "When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town," the description continues. "Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang -- including Captain Hook's son Harry and Gaston's son Gil -- to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all." Director Kenny Ortega tells E! News exclusively, "When Ben realizes Mal has left Auradon, he decides to go after her. Mal's friends -- Carlos, Evie and Jay -- decide to go with him to help, but first they have to teach him their wicked ways so he can sneak around the Isle of the Lost without being recognized." Aha! So that's why Ben is dressed as a villain in the exclusive first photo from the set, which features Carlos (Cameron Boyce), Evie (Sofia Carson), Mal (Dove Cameron), Jay (Booboo Stewart) and Ben (Mitchell Hope) in their new looks for the sequel. As E! News revealed last month, Captain Hook's son Harry is being played by London native Thomas Doherty. He'll be joined by fellow newcomers China Anne McClain as Ursula's daughter Uma, Dylan Playfair as Gaston's son Gil, and Anna Cathcart as Drizella's daughter Dizzy. (Eonline)

You Can Audition to Play Jenni Rivera for a New Series About Her Life. Jenni Rivera's life is coming to a series on Telemundo and fans can now audition to play the star. The late singer's mother Rosa Saavedra and sister Rosie Rivera sat with Christian Acosta and gave all the details about the future project during a Facebook live session. "This is the authorized series, the real one. It's going to be amazing. I've been reading the scripts and they're so good!" Rosie said. "We're still in that process (of finalizing the series) and we're like by the 10th episode. My brother Juan Rivera and I have reviewed the scripts, and I'll call my mom and be like, 'Mom, this happened?' Now I'm seeing my sister's childhood and I cry and laugh about it when I read the scripts because obviously, I wasn't there for that, but my parents told all of these beautiful stories." Rosie and her sister Jenni were 12 years apart, which is why the CEO of Jenni Rivera Enterprises is so happy about being able to now experience this part of her sister's life that she was once too young to enjoy. Saavedra explains that, for them, the creation of this series has been bittersweet because they've been able to relive such beautiful moments, but it's also made them miss her even more. The family ensures that they're working hand in hand with the writer of the series and that they've even shown her all of Jenni's homes like the garage that she lived in and the mansion that she had proudly owned in Encino, California. Rosie even admits that her parents are now finding out about moments that Jenni experienced with her and their brothers. Saavedra says that Jenni covered up a lot for her brothers, and now she sees all the crazy teenage moments that happened. Although the story is crucial, who will portray the singer is the question on everyone's mind. Casting is quickly underway, and the family hopes that the actress that will play Jenni will be able to bring to life Jenni's sense of being "100% Mexican and 100% American." "Jenni was both, and she could be really ghetto sometimes, oh how I miss that," Rosie said. "But honestly, we're just looking for the best. It doesn't have to be a super famous actress that would be amazing if it is, but we're just looking for the best person to play Jenni. So if you're an actress, and you want to try, go for it. We'll be starting the auditions soon." And if the auditioning process sounds familiar to you, it's because Jenni herself loved Jennifer Lopez's Selena. Her sister explained, "Jenni really thought that Selena the movie helped J.Lo's career, Jenni would say, 'That's what I want to do one day with my life, I want to help someone that is just starting out and catapult her.'" The family says that they will be casting for Jenni as a child, teenager, young woman, and Jenni as a star. Rosie thinks that the viewers will mostly be surprised by a love story that they're going to bring to life in the series. "I think fans saw her failed marriages with her first, second and third husband, but there is a beautiful love story that she told in her book about Fernando, her soul mate. You're going to see that gorgeous story, and he's giving, even more, details about it," Rosie said. "You also will find out about the last difficult months of Jenni's life, and we're going to tell these stories because we feel that they're necessary. Chiquis (Jenni's daughter) has put 100% of herself to say what happened and to clear things up." Details of Jenni's fallout with her daughter (only months before her death) have remained unclear, but the family promises to explain what happened behind closed doors during that time. You can also catch all of Jenni's five children on their new reality show The Riveras which will premiere Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10p.m./9c on NBC Universo. (Eonline)

When ABC released the first footage from the season 13 premiere of Grey's Anatomy, fans were understandably worried about Alex (Justin Chambers) as the aftermath of his attack on DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) seemed to threaten not only his career, but his freedom. You don't get to brutally beat people up and get away with it, after all. (Or, at least, you shouldn't.) But while our hand-wringing over Karev may feel justified -- he's a beloved character who made a very stupid mistake over a misunderstanding -- there's another character we should be concerned about. You know, the one hanging on for dear life. When E! News caught up with Debbie Allen at Buzzfeed's Buzzies Pre-Emmy party in Los Angeles, we asked the Grey's executive producer/director and recurring star if we should be worried about DeLuca not pulling through. Her reply did little to ease our fears. "Yeah," she warned. "I directed that last episode last year. He was in trouble. I can just let you know that we pick up where we left off, so it's going to be a hot opening." Though it may mean bad news for Alex or DeLuca (or likely both), Allen promised that the premiere is going kick off the new season with a bang. "This season is really hot. I mean, we're in season 13, but we're like a brand new show. The storylines are more dynamic and exciting than ever," she teased. "That opening episode, which starts next Thursday night, it's something that'll knock your socks off, take your breath away, and make you want to keep watching." As for how she'd describe season 13 if she had to sum it up in one word, Allen offered: "Dynamic." After 12 seasons of Shonda Rhimes' soapy goodness, we'd expect nothing less. Grey's Anatomy returns on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

The Gilmore Girls Revival Will Finally Reveal What Michel Does Outside of the Inn. Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has already guaranteed that the Netflix revival will give us plenty of information about Rory's (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai's (Lauren Graham) respective love lives -- but we're also going to learn about another character's romantic life. Star Yanic Truesdale, a.k.a. your favorite surly French concierge Michel, told E! News at Buzzfeed's pre-Emmys Buzzies party that we'll get to know a lot more about Michel's personal life. "What I can say is that my character has always been very private and we've seen him a lot at work, and this time around we'll know more about who he is, who he's dating and his personal life," he dished. "So that's exciting to me! As for what Michel's personal life entails, Truesdale was even more mysterious. "What's going on in his personal life was surprising! But [I'm] very happy with where he was because it revealed so much more about him personally," he said. The new series, Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life, consists of four 90-minute episodes (each pegged to a different season). Truesdale said that his favorite of the bunch is the last episode. "There's a lot happening for me and it's very rewarding," he spilled. During filming, Truesdale told us that returning to the Stars Hollow set was both odd and satisfying. "There's a very strange feeling to it. It's like going back to a house that you grew up in," he said at the time. "It's exciting because you have another shot that's something that was very meaningful and had impacted a lot of people. It's exciting to have something new to give to the fans!" Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life hits Netflix on Friday, Nov. 25, just in time for a post-Thanksgiving binge. (Eonline)

Sandra Lee has signed a deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to option the rights to a series based on her life story, Page Six has exclusively learned. The celebrity chef, author, Food Network star and New York's "first girlfriend" has landed a deal to create up to four two-hour specials based on her memoir, "Made From Scratch." The 2007 book describes how she went from an abusive childhood and being forced to raise her siblings on food stamps as a teenager to creating her own business, becoming a millionaire at 27 -- then losing it all before starting again, starring in her TV show, "Semi-Homemade Cooking" and building a multimillion-dollar empire. We're told Judith Verno, executive producer of the Showtime hit "Masters of Sex" -- which is up for an Emmy this weekend -- has been signed as an executive producer, along with Sandra. Insiders said the dream actress list to play Lee -- who is the girlfriend of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and who bravely went through a breast cancer battle recently -- includes Elle Fanning, Amanda Seyfried and Emma Stone. (Page Six)

Former 'Top Gear' Hosts' Amazon Series Gets Launch Date. Jeremy Clarkson's 'The Grand Tour' will finally arrive, just months after the disappointing first lap for the rebooted BBC show he was fired from. After over a year's buildup, The Grand Tour-Amazon's new big-budget motoring show from former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond-finally has a launch date. Previously teased as coming in "the fall" by Amazon's Roy Price, the first episode of The Grand Tour is set to arrive on Nov. 18, with new episodes released on Amazon Prime Video each Friday. The first episode will see the hosts in California in their first studio tent recording, with the tent then moving around the world with them for each show. The three signed up for three seasons of The Grand Tour-for a fee rumored to be in the region of $250 million-after Clarkson's high-profile departure from the helm of the BBC's flagship motoring show Top Gear in early 2015 for punching a producer. The revamped Top Gear, featuring U.K. media personality Chris Evans alongside Matt LeBlanc as co-presenters, took a hammering from critics over the summer and disappointed in the ratings, with Evans eventually announcing he would be stepping down before the first season even finished. Many expect the knives to be out for Clarkson when he returns to screens in November, although he does have the benefit of streaming video services' secretive approach to ratings. While Matt Lauer's interviews with Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were blasted by critics -- and even skewered on "South Park" -- sources say Lauer's been "hung out to dry" by NBC top brass for the feeble effort. Lauer was criticized by Clinton supporters for grilling the candidate on her email scandal and rushing the Democrat through answers on other topics, and for being too deferential to Trump. In a fundraising letter a day later, Clinton's camp even mentioned that Lauer "fell flat." But a source told Page Six that "Matt was hung out to dry on this," and that NBC News and MSNBC Chairman Andrew Lack was the one calling the behind-the-scenes shots. The source said Lack was controlling the interview, including the decision to move Clinton along during certain questions and to linger on the emails. Lauer was so bad, CNBC posted an op-ed on Thursday saying, "Following blistering criticism of [Lauer's] interviews," as well as Trump's previous run-in with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, "the debate format needs to be radically revamped and the first change should be dumping the moderators." On Wednesday, "South Park" laid into Lauer as a clueless anchor called "Matt" moderating a "commander-in-chief forum" between "Turd Sandwich" and "Giant Douche." After Lauer was lambasted, Lack sent a memo to NBC staffers praising the forum. "We were able to bring the two presidential nominees together for the first time and presented an important examination of what each would bring to the role of commander in chief," he wrote. "My deepest thanks to everyone who helped pull off this remarkable achievement." Another TV insider said, "Lauer is used to being untouchable while others take the fall. Now he is getting a taste of his own medicine." Another source said, "Andy Lack was trying to cover his butt, too. Apparently, he got heat for pushing the email questions." An NBC rep said: "Andy is very proud of what Matt and the team accomplished -- not to mention the 26 million viewers it attracted." (Page Six)

ITV Secures 'X Factor' and 'Britain's Got Talent' Until 2019. The U.K. TV giant will air Simon Cowell's hit formats for at least another three years. In a week that has seen outrage after the U.K.'s biggest TV show, The Great British Bake-Off, switched channels from the BBC to Channel 4, ITV has confirmed it is hanging on to two of its most popular formats. A new deal unveiled Friday ensures that the TV giant will air Simon Cowell's Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor until at least 2019, extending a long-running partnership for a further three years. "Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor are both big, brilliant, wonderful shows and I am delighted that they will continue to take up their place as an important part of our schedule for the next three years," said ITV's director of television, Kevin Lygo. "They are defining shows for us, ones that we are very proud to have as part of our entertainment slate, and they continue year after year, for months at a time, to be amongst the most popular and hugely entertaining formats on television." Financial terms weren't disclosed. In the previous three-year deal, the partners added a new clause that required Cowell to appear on at least one of the shows, and that clause is understood to also be part of the new agreement. Cowell said: "I want to thank ITV for continuing to be fantastic partners. I'm delighted for the shows and, in particular, for all the talented people who work on them with us." And Richard Holloway, managing director, Thames TV and interim CEO FremantleMedia UK, said: "I'm delighted that we are continuing our successful relationship with ITV for a further three years. We are immensely proud of Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor and we look forward to entertaining viewers for years to come." X Factor is in its 13th season in Britain. It has drawn a top consolidated audience so far this season of 10 million viewers, marking its highest audience since 2014. Britain's Got Talent had its 10th season this year. It is ITV's most-watched entertainment show, averaging 9.9 million viewers in consolidated ratings. (Hollywood Reporter)
