Hey girl, bad news for you: Ryan Gosling is officially a married man. The La La Land actor and his love of five years, Eva Mendes, quietly tied the knot earlier this year among a small group of family and friends, multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly. "Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple," says a source close to Mendes, who starred in the 2012 drama, The Place Beyond the Pines, with Gosling. "They are infatuated with each other." And their little brood. While he worked in Toronto September 12, Gosling's mind kept drifting back home to his girls. "I'm a lucky man," the 35-year-old gushed to Usof Mendes, 42, and their daughters, Esmeralda, 2, and Amada, 4 months, at the Toronto International Film Festival. "We couldn't be happier. They are so sweet." Gosling is also protective of his leading ladies. "I take my little girl to the park, and we always write her name in chalk, and some kid has been erasing her name and writing their name over it," he revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in May. "And this kid has access to an unfair amount of chalk. My little girl doesn't care; she's like, 'Well, let's just chalk anywhere else.' And I'm like, 'No! They're disrespecting your mother because she gave you this name, and they're erasing it. So the only way to really get back at them is to erase their name. And not disrespect their mother, but definitely put her on notice.'" (US Weekly)

Angelina Jolie has put her kids at risk by calling out Brad Pitt as a bad dad ... so claim sources connected to Brad. We're told Pitt is "furious" at Angelina for allegedly spinning stories that he poses a risk to their kids because of anger issues fueled by weed and alcohol. Pitt says there's now a bounty on the heads of the entire family, because they've now become a prime target for the gaggle of paparazzi. We're told the way Brad put it is this ... "She's just unleashed hell." Their perimeter of their Hollywood Hills home is now blanketed by photogs, and the LAPD is now patrolling at regular intervals. We're told Brad had conversations with Angelina over the last few days and pleaded for her to handle the divorce "like adults." He wanted to low-key it for the benefit of the kids. Instead, he says, she went scorched earth by asking for sole physical custody and suggesting he's a risky dad. Brad, we're told, is angry at Angelina and fearful for their kids. (TMZ)

Marion Cotillard Will Be Left 'Absolutely Devastated' Over The Rumors She Is Brad Pitt's Mistress. Marion Cotillard is no "Becky with the Good Hair"! On Tuesday, it was reported that Brad Pitt's Allied costar will be left "absolutely devastated" by all the claims she's the A-lister's supposed mistress. Oof! As you surely know, Angelina Jolie recently filed for divorce from the Fight Club star, and many were quick to place the blame on Miz Cotillard amid several conflicting reports about what caused the high profile split. Well it seems the French starlet wants NOTHING to do with this divorce drama as she's still with her longtime love Guillaume Canet. A source close to the Inception actress dished: "Marion and Guillaume are blissfully happy, and these kind of claims are not what Marion wants to be hearing." Fair, fair! The insider continued: "Claims that she's cheating on Guillaume with Brad will leave her absolutely devastated. This doesn't sound like her at all." In case you forgot, Marion and Guillaume have been together since 2007 and even welcomed their son Marcel back in 2011. Although the brunette beauty has been busy focusing on her career, she does value the time she spends with her little family. The confidant noted: "She enjoys her family time and wants to enjoy more of it. All this fuss will be a huge shock to her." Still, the onscreen chemistry between Brad and Marion in their upcoming spy thriller has been described as "electric". Hmm, very interesting! (Perez Hilton)

The 23-year-old heartthrob confirmed his relationship with the 33-year-old former X Factor judge back in March and the pair have appeared loved-up ever since. Jon Voight is voicing his concerns over his daughter Angelina Jolie's failed marriage to Brad Pitt. "It's very sad," Voight, 77, told Inside Edition Tuesday just after the divorce news broke. "Something very serious must have happened for Angie to make a decision like this." Voight says he's still unsure of the reason behind Jolie's divorce after two years of marriage and 12 years together. "I don't know what it is," Voight added. "It's a sad thing. Say a little prayer." A source told The Post Tuesday that Jolie, 41, decided to pull the plug on her marriage after discovering Pitt, 52, cheated with his "Allied" co-star Marion Cotillard. In the divorce filing, Jolie requests physical custody of their six kids -- Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. "I am concerned for Angie and the children and hopefully I will be seeing them very soon," Voight added. (Page Six)

Faye Dunaway lived up to her diva reputation during a recent Harper's Bazaar shoot. The fashion mag reports that Dunaway declared, "Everybody out of my eye line!" when "she wasn't objecting to a camera angle or an outfit." But the icon "later contacted the team to praise them and apologize for any stress she might have caused." In the profile, Dunaway reveals she's signing up for a Groundlings improv class. "There's a lot you need to do to keep your technique in shape .?.?. I don't care. I don't have an ego in that sense." (Page Six)

Garry Shandling was so moved by Sean Penn's passion for the people of Haiti, he made sure the actor's charity got a chunk of his fortune when he died. TMZ's obtained a copy of the late comedian's will and he's giving away some of his fortune to Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization. Garry was a longtime supporter of Penn's charity, attending fundraisers and making countless contributions. Garry donated a whopping $10k just to back a Haitian runner in the NYC Marathon a couple years ago -- so you've gotta figure he left way north of that to Penn's group. It's unclear how much he left when he died from a heart attack in March. That detail is held in Shandling's private trust. According to the will, he also left dough for the University of California's school system -- even though he attended University of Arizona -- the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as well as 11 relatives. "Modern Family" creator Steve Levitan has a new idea for a functional modern family ... lose the wife who drags him to court for daring to visit his daughter. Levitan -- who grosses $2.4 million a month -- is in the throes of a super nasty divorce in which his wife has now twice tried, unsuccessfully, to keep him away from the family home. The latest blowup occurred the day before the Emmys. Steve invited his daughter, Hannah, to come home from college for the weekend so he could take her to the awards ceremony. Hannah was staying at the family home with her mom, Krista, when Steve drove up to take her for a drink. Steve says he was on a public sidewalk when Hannah came up to hug him. Krista was out of town, but a burly security guard was ready to pounce. The guard got out of a car, walked up to Steve and said, "Can I help you with something." Steve simply responded, "No." But Steve was pissed, saying in legal docs he felt like he was being treated like a criminal. Krista ran to court Tuesday, asking a judge for a restraining order ... keeping him a hundred yards from the family home. She made all sorts of allegations, including aggressive courtroom conduct. She said he tried to intimidate her in the courthouse cafeteria by staring her down. She also says he assaulted her back in May at their son's volleyball awards ceremony by grabbing her by the arms and saying, "Get ready for World War III." The judge denied her request for a restraining order. This is the second time Krista's been shut down in court for a restraining order. Money ... it doesn't buy happiness. (TMZ)

Lena Headey and Ex-Husband Peter Loughran Enter Custody Battle Over Son Wylie Loughran. Lena Headey and ex-husband Peter Loughran are entering a custody battle, E! News confirms. The Game of Thrones star moved back to the U.K. with her son, Wylie Loughran, this past summer, which her ex-husband is claiming is a violation of their custody agreement. A source tells E! News that Loughran is "going to court to dispute Lena's move back to the U.K. this past summer with the parties' child." The source adds that the motivation for Lena's move is the "great support system" she has in the U.K.: her entire family. Additionally, an attorney for Headey, Joy Dracup Stanley, tells E! News that there is no violation of the former couple's custody agreement. "The parties have a clear and written agreement that both parents and the child will move to the U.K. this summer, and they will continue to have joint legal custody." Headey and Loughran divorced in 2013 after tying the knot in 2007. A few years after the divorce was finalized, Headey opened up to More magazine about the painful process of getting out of her marriage. "It's tough," she said of ending her marriage. "There's a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It's a mourning process, and yet nobody's died." Headey has since moved on and even has given birth to a second child (a daughter), but the HBO star has yet to reveal the identity of the baby's father. She announced her daughter's arrival with a cute tweet. "Hello peeps. All good. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time." (Eonline)

The woman suing Derrick Rose for allegedly gang raping her with his friends may no longer use a pseudonym and MUST reveal her identity when the case moves forward ... a judge has ruled. The woman filed her lawsuit under the name "Jane Doe" in an effort to stay anonymous and protect her privacy. Typically, the law allows someone who claims to be the victim of a sex crime to file a lawsuit under a pseudonym to protect their privacy rights. But Rose filed court documents saying Doe has abused the privilege by going on a "nationwide pretrial media blitz" over the past week ... which included phone interviews and a news conference. Now, it seems the judge agrees ... with U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald ruling that she must disclose her real name when the case goes to trial. (TMZ)

The 47-year-old transgender actress -- who has acted in more than 50 films spanning her decades-long career, notably in Last Exit to Brooklyn and as a Boy George impersonator in The Wedding Singer -- died from a heart attack, E! We've obtained Arquette's death certificate, which lists the heart attack as the immediate cause of death, and also reveals that the star suffered from a bacterial infection of the heart three weeks prior to her cardiac arrest on Sept. 11. The certificate also states that Arquette was living with HIV for 29 years, which was noted as an underlying cause of death. Madame Tussauds Separates Angelina Jolie's and Brad Pitt's Wax Figures. If Angelina Jolie's divorce papers didn't make it official, this certainly will. Madame Tussauds has separated Jolie's and Brad Pitt's wax figures. The famous wax museum announced the news early Wednesday morning. "Following the news that has shocked celebrity watchers worldwide, we can confirm we have separated Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's figures," Mada Tussauds tweeted with a photo of the two figures standing apart. The once inseparable couple now has a random star between them: Robert Pattinson. "We reacted quickly to yesterday's news of the separation of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their plans to divorce by mirroring the separation in the attraction," said a Madame Tussauds spokesperson. "The couple's wax figures, which were launched in 2013, have been split up and are now featured at a respectful distance from each other." The spokesperson added that "Angelina is keeping Nicole Kidman company and Brad Pitt is with his several time co-star Morgan Freeman." News of the Jolie-Pitt family's split broke Tuesday, when it was revealed that Jolie had filed for divorce. Upon the papers going public, the Tomb Raider's longtime manager Geyer Kosinksi told E! News in an exclusive statement, "Angelina is doing what's best in the interest of taking care of her children. She appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time." Pitt later responded with his own statement: "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time." As for why the couple decided to call it quits, an insider revealed to E! News that they have been gradually growing apart for a while. "Angelina is very dedicated to her work with the United Nations and working on other charitable endeavors while Brad is consumed with his film projects," the source told us. Bill Murray is an artist of many talents -- both comedic (he's in a series of new films, including a cameo in the Ghostbusters reboot) and culinary (you may have seen him doling out the tequila to a handful of lucky patrons at his son's new bar in Brooklyn). But what you may not have known is that his gifts extend to the sartorial realm as well. Following in the footsteps of celebrities including Kanye West and Jessica Simpson, it seems the comedian will now also be trying his hand at fashion design. Yes, we know that this story sounds like it belongs amongst the Bill Murray "No one will ever believe you" mythology, but it seems the launch of his line of apparel is no joke. To celebrate his birthday, the Caddyshack star and putting green aficionado will be launching his own line of golf clothing in collaboration with his brother and The Chive called William Murray Golf. The line's first offerings, a special Chicago-themed polo and two hats, will go live September 21 with a portion of proceeds from the first day sales going to the Murray family's favorite Chicago charity, the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. Bill's brother and co-designer Joel said in an e-email of their new line, "All of us Murray brothers grew up caddying so we have a true passion and respect for the game. Regarding the current on-the-course looks; what the players were wearing in the '70s were much more interesting than most of what you see out there today. With William Murray Golf, we're looking for that perfect combination of style, humor and subtle irreverence as a way to make things more laid back, relatable and fun." He also added some sage words of advice Bill gave him about the art of not losing your cool on the course: "I remember my brother Billy telling me, 'You're not good enough to get mad about a bad shot.' It does wonders for your game if you relax and take it one shot at a time." According to a press release for the line, the brand, formed under Resignation Media, will "break away from traditional golf apparel companies by bringing a new look and feel to the industry with a little irreverence and a lot of style." Makes sense considering it pretty much goes without saying that wherever Bill Murray goes, irreverence is on order. That and a superbly over-the-top sense of style, of course. After its initial offering, the line will include polos, shorts, the world's first gold button-down, and hats, all sold exclusively on WilliamMurrayGolf.com and TheChivery.com beginning October 20. Personally, we'll be crossing our fingers for dad hats emblazoned with the name "Miley Cyrus" written in Murray's signature scrawl. (People)

Tracy Morgan was seen testing out new material for his comeback comedy tour in an unusual place this week. Spies said that while Morgan was at Old Homestead Steakhouse in the Meatpacking District "waiting for his manager" to meet him, he couldn't help "trying out some new material he plans to use Thursday night" on his Picking Up the Pieces Tour stop in California. (He plays Carnegie Hall on Nov. 5.) A spy said of the impromptu steak set, "Patrons didn't even need tickets for this show." On a more serious note, Morgan also told diners he can't eat red meat because of a kidney ailment -- he had a kidney transplant back in 2010 -- but he managed to then polish off a 2-pound rib-eye. The former "30 Rock" star's been recovering from the tragic 2014 accident that claimed a close friend's life and left him gravely injured. His tour's the first since the accident -- he hosted "SNL" last year. He hinted on "The View" this month that his new material mentions going to heaven while he was in a coma. "I've seen Biggie Smalls," he said. "He looks good .?.?. He lost weight." (Page Six)

Inside Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Divorce: A Closer Look at the Disintegration of a Celebrity Super Couple. It was the split nobody in Hollywood saw coming. On Tuesday morning, E! News confirmed that Angelina Jolie had filed for divorce from Brad Pitt after two years of marriage and more than a decade together. "Angelina will always do what's in the best interest of taking care of her family," Angelina's longtime manager Geyer Kosinski said in an exclusive statement to E! News. "She appreciates everyone's understanding of their need for privacy at this time." Brad would later break his silence in a separate statement. "I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," he shared with E! News. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time." Still, many pop culture fans are left asking one big question: What went wrong between these two talented A-list stars? "Every married couple has its own dynamics," a source shared with E! News. "Fame adds an additional complication but they are going through what many families face. It's a difficult time." A separate source paints a picture of a pair that gradually grew apart and realized they value and prioritize different things. "Angelina is very dedicated to her work with the United Nations and working on other charitable endeavors while Brad is consumed with his film projects," an insider shared. "Both of their interests have taken them across the world but not together but in different directions." What has and always will stay a priority for the pair is the six children they share: Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 15, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 12, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 11, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 10, and twins Knox Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 8. "Brad is a loving, dedicated father, and anyone suggesting otherwise is spreading lies for their own benefit," a source shared with E! News. "They are both good parents and they want to do what's best for the kids." Unfortunately, being in the public eye has brought some challenges for the couple. Reports have already surfaced suggesting that Brad's lifestyle may have caused the split. One source says there is no truth to it. "It has been a very difficult time. It's been a very hard decision to make, but ultimately they both did the best they could to make the relationship work," another insider shared. "Both sides are hurting very deeply right now." While the divorce filing signals a new chapter in both Brad and Angelina's life, one insider assures fans that there is and was a lot of love between the pair. "They were always very deeply in love, very passionate, very intense and very romantic," a source shared. "They were never shy about showing their emotions and love for one another in front of people, they knew that their bond was something special." Our source added, "They were a good partnership created from two very different personalities but they were bound together by this deep love. They had a joint mutual outlook on life and the strength of their family unit was at the center of it." (Eonline)

Metta World Peace claims he and his family have been targeted by a deranged woman who's threatened violence, attacked his property and waited for his kids after school ... and now, he's obtained a restraining order against her. TMZ Sports has learned ... Peace went to the LAPD and told cops a "stranger," named Miesha Shakes, had been harassing him in a series of disturbing emails dating back to 2015. Peace says the emails contained violent threats -- including one that read, "I apologize in advance, I'm going out with a bang. This will be the worst thing to ever happen in Westwood. Call cops I'm ready." She also threatened to attack his car, accused him of raping women and threatened him with a knife ... Peace alleged in court documents. Peace claims she made good on some of her threats -- throwing a brick through a window in his building and slashing his tires. He also claims she physically attacked his 19-year-old daughter and "was waiting outside for my 13 yr old daughter after school." Peace is clearly scared -- and asked the judge to keep her "1 million" yards away from his family, home, workplace, kids' school and "Earth." The judge ultimately ordered the woman to stay 100 yards away from all of the requested places ... except Earth. A hearing in the case is scheduled for later this month. (TMZ)

The shock rocker told Rolling Stone magazine that he has no intention of voting for either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump this November because "neither one of them appeal to me." "I don't find either candidate to my liking, so I choose to stand out of this one," he said. "And I don't think that's a coward's stance. A lot of people might say that. I just don't really want to be a part of this piece of history. Last time, I did want to be involved in some piece of history as a voter." Adele Dedicates NYC Concert to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Amid Divorce. Forget a breakup playlist -- Adele just offered Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie a full-fledged concert. The woman behind emotional hits like "Set Fire to the Rain," "Someone Like You" and "Don't You Remember" put on a show at New York City's Madison Square Garden that doubled as a live ode to Brangelina. The longtime celebrity couple shocked the world Tuesday when news broke of Jolie's filing for divorce. The Oscar winner requested joint legal custody, but sole physical custody of the couple's six children. According to the legal documents, she also requested that Pitt be granted visitation rights. As Tuesday night's concert attendees reported on Twitter, the British songstress announced to the crowd that she was dedicating the show to the "elephant in the room," calling the split the "end of an era." "I'm dedicating this show tonight to them," she told the packed stadium in between songs. "I was shocked when I woke up this morning." The dedicated festivities didn't end there. As one fan wrote on Twitter, "Now #Adele is leading us all in a group Brangelina breakup therapy session. Also, there are songs." While she joked that her performance was "two hours of misery," we can't think of a better artist to lead such a sing-a-long. After all, Adele has forged a record-breaking career based off of her own bumpy experiences in love. Hopefully, with time -- and the help of Adele's tunes -- this split will one day be water under the bridge. (Eonline)

Lady Gaga's ''Perfect Illusion'' Music Video Will Make You Want to Jump Up and Dance. It's been quite the month for Lady Gaga already! Just a few weeks after releasing the track, Mother Monster has debuted the music video for "Perfect Illusion" -- the first single off her upcoming fifth studio album, Joanne. The video -- which was unveiled during the spooky season premiere of Fox's Scream Queens on Tuesday -- features Gaga getting down to the beat as she swings her microphone over her head while a crowd of adoring fans dances along. Between rocking the crowd to jamming out in her car, we see Mother Monster going in to the song in a tiny pair of Daisy Dukes. At one point, she even had to stop the car, get out, and partake in what looked to be the most intense cardio routine eve in the middle of nowhere. She was feelin' it, you guys. Meanwhile, just last week the singer joined Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio and dished more details about the album, including why she decided to title it Joanne -- the name of her father's sister who passed away at a young age from Lupus. "When Mark [Ronson] and I wrote it, the decision to name the album that was in tribute to my father's sister who died when she was 19. He was younger than her. She was very sick with Lupus. The death of her in his family and life left a scar that never healed. As I returned to my home life and spending time with my friends and family and getting out of the mainstream limelight for a minute, the experiences of our family and our challenges that make us who we are." She continued, "[The album is] everything about Joanne, which also happens to be my middle name. It's all the toughness of the pain of losing her that made us all strong and made us who we are. She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future." In fact, the singer kept many of her aunt's belongings and has incorporated them into the new album. "That's her handwriting on the album art," Gaga noted. "I have all of her things. On the inside packaging for the physical copy of the album there's all sorts of little clippings and papers and things from her and my father growing up. Photographs, letters they wrote to each other, her drivers license, her high school ID, it's all hidden behind the lyrics and chord charts we wrote while making the album." We already know quite a bit of the other details regarding the album. For example, it's full of incredible collaborations with people like RedOne, Diane Warren, Nile Rodgers, Bloodpop, Giorgio Moroder and Tame Impala and, as she noted in the interview, Hillary Lindsey. As for the vibe, Gaga said working on American Horror Story helped "reawaken" the "art of darkness" inside of her, which she used on the album -- seems appropriate due to the new video's release with Scream Queens! Former Child Star Billy Gilman's Emotional Return on 'The Voice' Sparks Adam Levine/Miley Cyrus Bidding War. Former child country star Billy Gilman staged an emotional return to the spotlight on Tuesday night's (Sept. 20) episode of The Voice. Performing a moving cover of Adele's "When We Were Young," the singer who made history in 2000 when, at 11, he became the youngest artist to score a Top 40 hit with his first single, the gold-certified "One Voice," set off a bidding war between coaches Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus. And he might have just taken the first step to climb back from a career spiral that he never saw coming. "Within the quiet moments, I found who I was as a person," Gilman, 28, told Voice host Carson Daly backstage during the show about the period when Nashville turned its back on him after a successful early run that included a double-platinum debut and two gold albums that followed. After his voice changed during puberty and he took five years off, Gilman came back in 2014 with the indie single "Say You Will." A lot had changed in that turbulent period, including Gilman's decision to out two years ago in an emotional video in which he said that fellow country singer Ty Herndon's decision to come out had inspired him, even as Gilman speculated that years of gossip about his sexuality may have helped derail his career. "Being a gay male country artist is not the best things," he said in the video of the sometimes conservative nature of Nashville that he tied to his inability to land a recording deal with a major after selling 5 million records. But, he told Daly, the struggle made him stronger. "I had to come to grips with being gay... I took a long time to rebuild vocally, but it was coming back, and then coming to grips with who I was personally, I also came to grips with who I was as a singer," said Gilman, who was discovered in 1997 when he was just 9 and signed to a major label deal three years later. "You know, I love my country music roots, but deep down, I really always wanted to be a pop singer." Realizing that he needed to do it on his own, Gilman said The Voice was his "one shot" to reinvent himself. Levine was the first to turn around, with Cyrus immediately punching in as Gilman hit his first towering falsetto note and Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton finally turning around as Gilman brought things to a dramatic close. "What's your name, man?" Shelton asked. "I know Billy," the country star responded when Gilman introduced himself and described how exciting it was to finally stand on a stage and sing the way he's always wanted to. Shelton said he'd always wondered what happened to Gilman -- whose "One Voice" was a hit when Blake was making his first album -- praising the singer for finally finding his true sound. Cyrus also had a moment of clarity, recalling Gilman's music video and how Billy opened for her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, back in the day. "I know who the hell you are! Let me take care of you," Cyrus said, adding later, "I'd love to help you now become The New Billy, 'cause I had to make that decision [to change genres], and I know how I want people to see me, and I'm very clear about that. So I would love to help you be clear to people about who you are." In the end, though, Billy went with the coach who stood up first, and remained standing, Levine. "That intangible quality that you possess is exactly what embodies the person that wins this show," said the Maroon 5 singer. "You really could be the guy. I am blown away!" (Billboard)

The company brought back the awards show in 2014 after a three-year hiatus and tapped Marlon Wayans and Anthony Anderson as hosts in the past two years. The event took place in Durban in the past couple of years. "I'm a huge fan of African music and achievement, and it's going to be a massive pleasure celebrating them both at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2016 in my own home town of Johannesburg," said Noah. Alex Okosi, senior vp & managing director, Viacom International Media Networks Africa, added: "Trevor Noah is an outstanding entertainer and testament to the amazing talent that Africa has to offer the world. To have him host the MAMA, our annual celebration of Africa music, creativity and achievement, is a powerful and inspiring message. We are delighted that our first-ever show in Johannesburg will be presented by one of the city's most loved and admired personalities." This year's MAMA edition will feature performances from such African stars as Alikiba, Babes Woduma, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Ycee and Yemi Alade, among others. The MTV Africa Music Awards 2016 will air live on MTV Base and MTV in Africa. The show will also be shown worldwide on partner stations and content platforms starting in October, while MTV channels around the world will air a one-hour MAMA-themed edition of MTV World Stage. 'Smurfs: The Lost Village' Teaser Trailer Has Curious Creatures, Dangerous Flowers. The third installment in Sony's 'Smurfs' franchise will hit theaters in 2017. The Smurfs are searching for the lost village, and even looking in the audience. A playful teaser trailer for Smurfs: The Lost Village, released Wednesday morning, has the blue creatures looking through the screen for their destination and marveling at the audience before two Smurfs are attacked by nearby flowers. Following 2011's The Smurfs, which grossed $563.7 million worldwide, and 2013's The Smurfs 2, which took in $347.5 million worldwide, Sony Pictures is preparing to release a third movie about the little blue creatures, called Smurfs: The Lost Village, on April 7, 2017. While the first two films in the series combined computer animation with live action, the new installment is entirely computer animated as it offers up a Smurfs origin story. Demi Lovato heads up the voice cast as Smurfette with Mandy Patinkin taking over the role of Papa Smurf, which was voiced by the late Jonathan Winters in the previous two movies. Jordan Kerner is producing the new film, which is being directed by Kelly Asbury, whose previous directorial credits include Shrek 2 and Gnomeo & Juliet. Stacey Harman and Pamela Ribon wrote The Lost Village, which is co-produced by Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews. The film has Smurfette, Brainy (Danny Pudi), Clumsy (Jack McBrayer) and Hefty (Joe Manganiello) on an action-packed, danger-filled journey through the Forbidden Forest to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel (Rainn Wilson) does. Their endeavor leads them to discover the biggest secret in Smurf history. (Hollywood Reporter)

Toronto Sales Wrap: Fox Searchlight's Unique 'Jackie' Deal Sets High Mark. Also: Anne Hathaway starrer 'Colossal' sells to a mysterious China-backed U.S. studio, while Netflix nabs five buzzy titles, including the Barack Obama biopic 'Barry.' Toronto 2016 may go down as the festival where the film-sales blueprint was tossed. Fox Searchlight was reported to have offered $13 million for the Natalie Portman starrer Jackie, but the specialty label actually inked a more unique deal. Sources say the Pablo Larrain-helmed film about Jacqueline Kennedy during the days following John F. Kennedy's assassination sold for no minimum guarantee. Instead, Searchlight and financier Mickey Liddell will split prints-and-advertising costs and the financiers will reap a majority of potential profits, a better deal for Liddell if the film works as an Oscar contender. An even stranger deal was closed for the Anne Hathaway monster pic Colossal, which sold to a mysterious China-backed U.S. studio. THR later revealed the studio will be led by Radius co-founder Tom Quinn and Alamo Drafthouse owner Tim League. A source pegged the acquisition at mid-seven figures. No other on-the-ground deal is believed to have eclipsed those two sales. Most of the biggest festival films (Nocturnal Animals, Loving, A Monster Calls) were sold before their Toronto bows, leaving agencies looking to nontraditional distributors like EuropaCorp, which acquired Lone Scherfig's Their Finest in a mid-seven-figure deal. "A significant number of films played in Toronto with distribution already in place, which reflects a trend where larger-budgeted films require U.S. sales to complete financing," says UTA's Rena Ronson. Netflix was the most active buyer, scooping up Adam Leon's romantic heist film Tramps for $2 million, the young Barack Obama biopic Barry, the Chadwick Boseman vigilante drama Message From the King, the Jonathan Demme doc Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids and the sci-fi thriller What Happened to Monday?, which screened privately at the fest. Many of the remaining finished-film deals fell between $3 million and $4 million. The Liev Schreiber boxing pic The Bleeder sold to IFC Films/Showtime for $3 million, and Sony Pictures Classics landed Eleanor Coppola's road-trip comedy Paris Can Wait for mid-seven figures. Roeg Sutherland of CAA, which negotiated for Jackie and Colossal among others, says the agency will have sold all 11 of its Toronto films: "For us it was a great, robust market." Stan Lee Unveils India-China Co-Production 'Monkey Master'. The live-action film is co-produced by China's Shinework Pictures, which also backed the upcoming Jackie Chan starrer 'Kung-Fu Yoga.' Stan Lee has added another India-inspired project to his plate, announcing Wednesday that Monkey Master will be a co-production between India and China. The live-action film is backed by China's Shinework Pictures, Lee's POW! Entertainment and Graphic India, with which the comic legend has had a long-running relationship. India's Cinema Capital Advisory will co-produce the project. Shinework's projects include the upcoming Jackie Chan starrer Kung-Fu Yoga, directed by Stanley Tong, which was partly filmed in India. Lee's first India-inspired effort was the superhero project Chakra, created with Graphic India. The character entertainment company is backed by Peter Chernin's CA Media. After launching as a TV series, Chakra is now in production as a Bollywood live-action feature to be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. "I have always been fascinated by the Chinese and Indian cultures, which are so philosophical and rich in tradition and morality," Lee said. "I've written countless superheroes of every nationality and every part of the world before, I've even created many heroes from other planets and galaxies, but Monkey Master will be unique in how it interweaves Chinese and Indian myth to create a hero that will entertain fans across the world with his martial arts skills and unstoppable superpowers." "We are excited to announce this partnership to leverage Stan Lee's experience creating some of the world's most popular superhero characters to create an epic Chinese superhero film that will not only appeal to China but also globally to international markets," said Shinework Pictures founder and CEO Jonathan Shen. The project is expected to include an international star cast featuring talent from India and China. POW! Entertainment CEO Gill Champion added that Monkey Master "will not only capture the hearts and minds of Chinese and Indian audiences, but will also have a mass worldwide appeal as a classic superhero adventure." Graphic India co-founder and CEO Sharad Devarajan said that "the story will take place between ancient and modern day China and India as the myth of monkey warriors, known to both cultures, come together in the creation of a modern day superhero." Devarajan also told THR that the "goal is to create a film with global appeal after first tapping the vast markets of China and India." Shinework's producing team will include Jonathan Shen, Iris Wang, and Daljit DJ Parmar. Champion will be a producer on the film with Lee, while Devarajan and Gupta are attached as executive producers. (Hollywood Reporter)

About This Is Us' Big Twist: Did the Premiere Have You In Tears? Chances are if you're reading this right now it means you just finished watching the highly anticipated series premiere of This Is Us and, to be honest, we're not sure how you can actually see through all your tears. But there's something HUGE we need to discuss: The MASSIVE twist at the end of the episode. Be warned: We're about to get super spoilery here so if you've managed to steer clear of ruining the ending of this pilot for yourself, please click out immediately and only return after you've watched! Okay, now that we're in a safe space, is everyone ready?! Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia's Rebecca and Jack aren't just a pair of adorable hipsters sporting throwback style. They're actually living in the '70s. And the twins played by Justin Hartley and Chrissy Metz, a.k.a. Kevin and Kate? They're actually 2/3 of a trio of siblings born on the same day -- and Sterling K. Brown's Randall is their brother. Oh, one other very important thing: Rebecca and Jack are their parents! After your brain actually processes this information overload -- and the thrill of the '70s reveal not happening until the end of the episode -- you'll probably have questions. Namely: How does this show work from week to week? It's cool that everyone is connected in this amazing way, but what will the next episode look like? Creator Dan Fogelman told reporters at the show's 2016 Television Critics Association summer press tour panel that he has a road map for the series. "It's a fair question," he admitted. "When we sold the show, we had a whole plan for the series before. When it was written, it wasn't like we are just going to make the pilot and then kind of figure it out if we get lucky enough to get on TV. John Glenn and I describe it as, like, a dramedy version of Lost where you have to understand how everyone's connected and then kind of explore these people as they move forward. He continued, "So they're interconnected Milo and Mandy's storyline jumps around in time. You can see that. There's going to be different looks we play with. And the only way I can describe it is I sometimes think about the fact that I have a great-great-grandfather out there somewhere who I never met nor do I know his name. But in his own way, he's kind of affected my life because he raised my grandparents who raised my parents who have raised me." So ultimately, the storylines will remain interconnected, and we'll be able to see the growth of the characters as the show jumps around through time. "It's really kind of ambitious, and I think, for network TV, a really bold, hopefully somewhat groundbreaking attempt to explore the condition of the human family." What did you think of This Is Us' big twist? Did you remain unspoiled? This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

Dancing with the Stars: Season 23's First Eliminated Contestant Is... Season 23 of Dancing with the Stars has its first casualty. Say goodbye to Jake T. Austin and Jenna Johnson! Jake and Jenna were eliminated Tuesday night after finding themselves in the bottom four couples with Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, Amber Rose and Maks Chmerkovskiy, and Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke. While it's a little sad to see the Wizards of Waverly Place star go home so early, it's not all that surprising. He tied for the second lowest score both this week and last week, only above Rick Perry, and seemed to struggle a bit with both of his routines. Somebody's got to be the first one to go, and unfortunately it was Jake this week. Now, we've got some griping to do: what was that, DWTS? Did we really need to spend the entire first hour of that show rehashing every dance, with inaudible commentary and misspelled captions? That same thing could have been accomplished much more entertainingly in one five minute highlight reel, but instead, we just had our time massively wasted. So take note of this, Dancing with the Stars: We are in a fight, and you've only got like 10 more weeks to make it up to us. Better make 'em count. Dancing with the Stars airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

"Funny, because Emilio and I consider Jaime one of our best friends too! FUN!" To prepare for Estefan's arrival, Rodriguez and Camil created a hilarious Dubsmash dancing to the singer's "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You." "In preparation for Gloria and Emilio Estefan's guest starring on #janethevirgin dad and I took to our usual trailer shenanigans. #LoveMyTvPops," Gina wrote. We can't wait to see Gloria's cameo! The Walking Dead Season 7's New Trailer and Threatening Poster Will Leave You With Questions. The Walking Dead wants you to know one thing about season seven: Nobody is safe. Gulp. The new key art for season seven features new cast addition Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan swinging his trusty sidekick Lucille. Yes, Lucille is the name of his bat covered in barbed wire. Viewers will remember (how could you forget?) that season six of The Walking Dead ended with Negan murdering one of your favorite zombie apocalypse survivors. Their identity has been kept a secret until Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC. In addition to the new poster, AMC has released a new trailer featuring your first real look at The Kingdom and King Ezekiel (Khary Payton). Yeah that's a tiger. It's name is Shiva. Seems like Morgan (Lennie James) is getting in deep with the Kingdom folks... but for how long? The Walking Dead season seven premieres Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. on AMC. (Eonline)

Greg Berlanti, Julie Plec Team With 'Arrow' Writer for ABC Soap 'The Marquis'. The drama marks a reunion for writer Jake Coburn with Berlanti as the duo previously teamed on 'Arrow' and ABC's 'Dirty Sexy Money.' Greg Berlanti is keen on repeat business. The prolific producer is reteaming with Julie Plec and Jake Coburn for ABC drama The Marquis, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The project, which has received a script commitment from the network, is described as sexy and twisted character soap set in the most iconic and exclusive building in Manhattan. Coburn, a writer on Quantico, will pen the script and executive produce alongside Berlanti Productions' Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. Plec will exec produce via her My So-Called Company. Both Berlanti and Plec are based at Warner Bros. Television, where the drama is set up. The Marquis marks a reunion for Berlanti with Plec. The duo previously teamed on The CW's short-lived The Tomorrow People and first started working together back on Dawson's Creek. The drama also extends Berlanti's relationship with Coburn, who counts the producer's Arrow and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money among his credits. This marks the latest sale for Berlanti this development season. The exec producer -- currently behind Blindspot, Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and The CW's midseason Archie take Riverdale -- also is reteaming with Blindspot creator Martin Gero for magic drama Deception as well as Criminal -- both at ABC. Additionally, Berlanti has Raised by Wolves with Diablo Cody also at ABC. Outside of ABC, he has DC Comics take Black Lightning set up at Fox. Berlanti is repped by WME. Plec, who has the final season of The CW's The Vampire Diaries and its spinoff, The Originals, set to return later this season, also is with WME. Coburn, who also counts Gossip Girl among his credits, is with WME. (Hollywood Reporter)

The lawyer for JonBenet Ramsey's family said he plans to sue CBS over the claims about JonBenet's brother, Burke, in the network's recent documentary about the late pageant queen, Reuters reports. "I will be filing a lawsuit on behalf of Burke Ramsey," L. Lin Wood told Reuters via phone on Tuesday, September 20. "CBS' false and unprofessional attacks on this young man are disgusting and revolting." The network responded, stating that "CBS stands by the broadcast and will do so in court." As previously reported, CBS released a two-part special, The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey, to coincide with the 20th anniversary of her murder this year. The four-hour program featured investigators re-examining the case, which remains unsolved. The experts theorized during Monday night's episode that Burke most likely struck her on the head with a heavy object. Burke, now 29, was just 9 when JonBenet, then 6, was found dead in the basement of the family's house in Boulder, Colorado, on December 26, 1996. He and his parents, John Burke and the late Patsy Burke, were initially considered suspects, but were later cleared by DNA. Burke opened up about the case this month. He sat down for a three-part interview with Dr. Phil McGraw after keeping out of the spotlight for several years. "There still are people that believe that you killed your sister. What do you say about that?" McGraw, 66, asked him. "Look at the evidence or the lack thereof," Burke replied. McGraw added: "Part of their rationale, these people say you are the only one that your parents would go to the lengths they went to cover up everything that happened." Burke held his ground. "I don't know what to say to that because I know that's not what happened," he said. "There's been a few people that said that's not even physically possible for a 9-year-old to do that."
