State Route 260 paving at Payson University entrance Wed. and Thurs. (Sept. 28-29)

Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) crews begin paving in Payson at the new Payson University entrance on State Route 260 (milepost 253) on Wednesday (Sept. 28) and Thursday (Sept. 29) during daylight hours. During paving operations all travel will be moved onto westbound lanes with reduced access through the construction zone. A 12-foot wide load restriction will also be in place during construction.

Expect delays during paving. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
For more information about this project, please call Coralie Cole, ADOT Senior Community Relations Officer at602.501.4899 or email ccole@azdot.gov

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors. For the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov or call 511, except while driving.
