PRESCOTT- The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin work on a five-mile repaving project on Sunday, March 12 on US 93 between State Route 89 and Rincon Road (mileposts 193 to 198) in Wickenburg.

Work is expected to occur overnight for the next two months and drivers can expect a single-lane restriction during work hours. Work hours for this project are Monday through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. with the exception of next week when crews will set up erosion control measures starting Sunday night, March 12.

This $1.9 million project consists of new rubberized asphalt, guardrail replacements, new striping and other miscellaneous work.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
