Restrictions to begin Tuesday morning on SR 86 at Bradley Wash Bridge

Flagging operations will be in effect around the clock until 5 p.m. Friday, March 10

Motorists traveling on State Route 86 west of Tucson will encounter restrictions starting Tuesday, March 7 while the Arizona Department of Transportation makes repairs to the highway approaches to the Bradley Wash Bridge.

The two-lane highway will be reduced to one lane starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday at milepost 149. The restriction is scheduled to remain in effect around the clock until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 10. Construction flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic in each direction through the area until the restriction is lifted.

The posted speed limit approaching the work area will be reduced to 25 mph.

The work is part of a project to improve an 11-mile segment of SR 86 (Ajo Way) between Fuller and Valencia roads.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
