I-10 West closed at 59th Avenue late Wednesday night (April 12-13)

Work associated with the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway will require an overnight closure of westbound Interstate 10 at 59th Avenue this evening (Wednesday, April 12). Motorists traveling westbound on I-10 should allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
Westbound I-10 will be closed at 59th Avenue from midnight, Wednesday, April 12, to 5 a.m., Thursday, April 13. Traffic will exit and re-enter westbound I-10 via the off-and on-ramps at 59th Avenue.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
