Westbound Interstate 10 closure at 59th Avenue begins late Tuesday (April 18)

Work associated with the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway will require a late-night closure of westbound I-10 at 59th Avenue starting late Tuesday, April 18. Motorists should allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
This closure is scheduled to last approximately three hours between 11 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, and 5 a.m.,Wednesday, April 19. Westbound traffic will exit and re-enter I-10 via ramps at 59th Avenue.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors.
