Thomas Rhett and Wife Lauren Welcome Daughter Willa Gray: 'Everyone Is Where They're Supposed to Be.' After their year-long adoption journey, Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren welcomed their new daughter, Willa Gray Akins, home from Uganda on Thursday -- and the musician says it felt like Christmas in May. "On the way to the airport, it was like Christmas Day," the country star tells PEOPLE, sharing exclusive photos of the family at home in Nashville on Friday. Adds Lauren, "It felt like a dream. I've dreamed of us all being on the same continent for so long. It finally feels like everyone is where they're supposed to be." Lauren first met the 18-month-old, aptly nicknamed "Blessing" in her home country, in 2016 when Lauren visited Uganda with 147 Million Orphans. At the time, the couple had been trying to conceive without success and had just begun to discuss adoption. When Thomas Rhett saw a photo of Lauren holding Willa, he was struck by his wife's obvious bond with the baby, who had been orphaned when she was still a newborn. "Lauren had this amazing glow about her and it just felt like she was already our daughter in a weird way," the singer, 27, says. "'I just blurted out, 'We should bring her home.'" It was far from that simple -- many months of documents and red tape followed, and between Lauren and Thomas Rhett, the couple made a dozen trips to the African nation over the past year. In the meantime, they discovered Lauren was finally pregnant (another girl!) and due in early August, which meant that her window for bringing Willa home was closing fast. Nearing her third trimester, Lauren traveled to Uganda in April, hoping to bring Willa home, but the adoption wasn't finalized before she needed to return to the States for a pregnancy check-up. "I probably could have pushed it, but I just didn't want to think something could go wrong with my pregnancy," Lauren tells PEOPLE. "It felt weird leaving one daughter and making sure the other one is okay. But I couldn't do it another way." Instead, Lauren's mother and father brought Willa Gray home to Nashville. The couple has had to adjust to full-time parenting quickly -- during the day "she never stops moving!" Thomas Rhett, who recently took home male vocalist of the year and song of the year at the ACM Awards, says. They've already had one nearly sleepless night-but they're relishing their new roles. "It is very weird to be called 'Dad' by a little human being," says Thomas Rhett, as Willa can be heard in the background calling out "Dada... Mama." "But it is one of the coolest feelings in the world. Nothing beats that." (People)

Katie Lowes Is Pregnant! Scandal Star Expecting Baby Boy With Adam Shapiro. Katie Lowes is about to become a Gladiator mom! As she confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, the Scandal star is expecting. The 35-year-old actress also already knows the sex of her and husband Adam Shapiro's first child. "It's a boy!" the mom-to-be revealed to Jimmy Kimmel. "We have zero names." However, she quipped that her husband of five years would like to have a little Lebron after court superstar Lebron James. Of course, there was no hiding this pregnancy from her famous boss, Shonda Rhimes. "I told her five minutes from being pregnant," Lowes admitted. "She already knew -- she's a genius." The ultra-observant TV mogul could tell just by watching the actress during edit sessions. "She knows the minute I got pregnant," the actress said. Either it was a "really good weekend eating pizza and beer or I was pregnant." Lowes isn't the only co-star to keep her boss in the loop. When head Gladiator Kerry Washington was pregnant with her second child, son Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, Kimmel once again got in on the pregnancy news and wanted to know who she called first. "Your parents or Shonda?" the late-night host asked. "My parents don't want me to answer that," she said while shaking her head and smiling. "I will not answer that." So....is that a yes, Kerry? In the meantime, we'll just contemplate ways for the crew to hide Lowes' baby bump for the final season of Scandal. Congratulations to the mom and dad-to-be! (Eonline)

Revenge Co-Stars Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman Are Engaged. Congratulations are in order for Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman! The Hollywood couple and Revenge co-stars appear to have taken the next step in their real-life relationship. In a new Instagram posted Thursday afternoon, Emily posed for a picture with her hands covering her face. Followers, however, quickly spotted a brand-new ring on that finger. "?," she wrote on Instagram. While the couple has maintained a relatively private relationship, Emily has gushed about her main man on many occasions. In an interview with InStyle Australia, the Revenge star spoke about her hunky British beau by stating, "I have a wonderful love in my life." "Trust is the most important thing in any relationship, because everything falls into place after that," she added. While the couple may have worked together on the hit ABC drama, Emily explained in a separate interview that she tries to keep her professional life apart from her personal life. "Josh and I keep it all very separate. I barely talk about him in interviews, to be honest," she explained to Elle Canada. "It's just really funny in the moments when we're playing these absolutely absurd things. I call him 'wife-beater Daniel.' It's hard for my family to watch -- it's also hard for them to see me in that light. But we're actors. None of that lives in any of us. Thank God!" As the Hollywood couple enjoys their new relationship status, wedding planning will soon be on the agenda. And some fans can't help but remember an interview where Emily expressed her hope at having a family of her own. "I find myself dreaming about [having children] all the time," she admitted to Instyle. "In your late 20s, you start to realize you can't call yourself a baby anymore." Before we get ahead of ourselves, let's simply say congrats on the engagement! (Eonline)

Doug Ellin engaged to WPIX anchor. "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin's love life is as eventful as his hit shows. Ellin is engaged to beautiful blond WPIX sports anchor Andy Adler, who hosts PIX11 Sports Desk and the Yankees' and Giants' pregame shows. Ellin said they first met two years ago, when Adler interviewed him on her show, but didn't connect again until January of this year. He said, "I reached out to Andy and I said, 'I don't know your life situation, but I'd love to meet you.' Thankfully, she was open to meeting me. We spoke on the phone for three weeks, then I went to New York, and since then it's been a whirlwind." He continued, "I don't know if she was as excited about meeting as I was, but we ended up having a 12-hour date. We walked around the city, talked and went from breakfast to lunch and then dinner. "Andy is amazing and I feel very lucky. She is genuine. Not in any way pretentious. Smart, beautiful. She's in the media, but has no social-media presence. She went to Stanford and speaks three languages. Everything about her I love." Ellin said after their January NYC date, he immediately told friends that she was "the woman I am going to marry, and they all thought I was crazy." He proposed in New Orleans on April 30 on a balcony overlooking the city. Ellin said, "I had the ring ready and I think she was pretty stunned, but she accepted." The wedding will take place on June 18 in San Diego, where Adler's family lives. Ellin added, "I'm 49 and I don't have any time to waste. The wedding will be small, just family, then we'll throw parties in New York and LA." Ellin is currently developing a boy-band comedy at CBS with Donnie Wahlberg and Nick Lachey. He said, "Andy is based in New York, and while I'm mostly in LA, I can write from anywhere. We'll split our time in both places." Ellin was married to Melissa Dana Hecht for 13 years until 2009, and they have two kids. He broke off his engagement to real-estate agent Maddie Diehl last year. He added of Adler, "When you know about someone, you just know. I am so excited about sharing the rest of my life with Andy." (PageSix)

How Jerry O'Connell Knew He Wasn't Going to Get the Job on Live! With Kelly. Jerry O'Connell is admittedly a little bummed that he didn't get the co-hosting job with Kelly Ripa, but he wasn't surprised. The actor sat down on KTLA and revealed that he knew he wasn't going to land the gig even before Ryan Seacrest was named co-host. Still, he has nothing but kind words for the Live! show, Seacrest and Ripa, too. "I co-hosted the Live! With Kelly, now Live! With Kelly and Ryan show... I love her. It's just, there's really nothing like it. It just happens right there. The prep time is not a lot," he said. "There's something super fun about it, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, doing it with her, Kelly's the best!" He also had nothing put positive things to say about Seacrest. "I just left my house, I've been crying the entire time," he joked about finding out Seacrest had got the job over him. "He's great. He's an old friend of all of ours. He's been around here a million times. I know him, and he's great for that job." Like we said before, though, O'Connell was aware that he was out before the announcement. "I knew. I did know," he dished. "It is a little scary because you know some secret information, like stock holders and the decisions that people of power have made." And yet, O'Connell noted that still, "Like a weird ex, I watch them every morning! It's like stalking your exes' Facebook page!" Moving forward, O'Connell revealed his hopes to work on his own show one day. "I enjoy it. I realize there are very hard jobs out there... but it's such a fun job," he explained. "It's just such a fun thing to do. It's fun to come out and have such a good time." (Eonline)

Drake did the impossible ... by escorting his little cousin and her date into prom, he actually made it cool to have a chaperone. Just this once. Drizzy did his cuz, Jalaah Moore, a major solid by showing up this weekend in Memphis. And as you'd expect ... he spoiled the couple and made 'em total ballers. Sources close to the family tell TMZ Drake flew in Saturday ... ordered them a white Rolls Royce to drive them to prom, and also paid for their custom matching outfits. Drake also crashed the dance at Fairley High School -- major social points for Jalaah -- but we're told he didn't perform ... just hung out. We imagine the other chaperones were as starstruck as the kids. Afterward, he threw Jalaah a party at Hard Rock for about 400 of her suddenly super-close friends. BTW, Drake's dad is Jalaah's grandma's bro. So, yeah ... best 2nd cousins ever! (TMZ)

Two of the youngest stars of "Big Little Lies" are still riding the HBO miniseries' wave of success ... and they have the show's stylist to thank for their latest gig. Twins Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti just wrapped their debut modeling campaign for Ralph Lauren. We're told they shot last week in L.A. and this week in NYC, and we can expect to see their work in the winter. Sources close to the bros tell us ... a Ralph Lauren honcho was a fan of the show and took notice of their wardrobe -- the boys were always decked out in RL. We're told it was just a coincidence -- not a pre-arranged deal with HBO. The RL exec just like how the kids rocked their clothes. Our sources say Cam and Nic enjoyed being first-time models and want to do it again ... along with acting. Good to have options at 8. (TMZ)

Steve Harvey Skips His Show's Wrap Party Amid Memo Controversy: Report. After facing backlash over a leaked scathing memo Steve Harvey sent to his staff, the talk show host was certainly not in the mood to celebrate. He skipped his own wrap party in Chicago Thursday, a source told Page Six. Harvey has not commented. His syndicated daytime series The Steve Harvey Show ended its five-year run in the city that day. Harvey is launching a new show in Los Angeles this fall. "Steve is not going to his own wrap party Thursday night," the source told Page Six. "After that memo, he'd be stood on his own in the corner. He used to be such a nice guy." In the leaked memo, posted on Robert Feder's media blog Wednesday, Harvey had written to his staff, "There will be no more meetings in my dressing room. No stopping by or popping in. NO ONE. Do not come into my dressing room unless invited." "Do not open my dressing room door," he continued. "IF YOU OPEN MY DOOR, EXPECT TO BE REMOVED. My security team will stop everyone from standing at my door who have the intent to see or speak to me." Following a backlash over the leaked memo, Harvey later stood by his words, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I've always had a policy where, you know, you can come and talk to me -- so many people are great around here, but some of them just started taking advantage of it. "Look man, I'm in my makeup chair, they walk in the room. I'm having lunch, they walk in, they don't knock," he continued. "I'm in the hallway, I'm getting ambushed by people with friends that come to the show and having me sign this and do this. I just said, 'Wait a minute.' And in hindsight, I probably should've handled it a little bit differently." (Eonline)

Katherine Jackson pays tens of thousands of dollars each month to cover her kids' expenses, so she shouldn't have a problem paying her nephew Trent's legal fees ... according to him. Trent Jackson wants Katherine to cover the expenses he incurred while defending himself against her claims of elder abuse. In new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- he says Katherine told him she receives a $67,000 monthly stipend from Michael Jackson's estate, which she doles out to some of her kids to support them and their families. In the docs, Trent says Katherine told him she gave $12,000/month to Jermaine Jackson ... $7,000/mo. to Rebbie Jackson ... $30,000/mo. to La Toya Jackson ... and $9,850/mo. toward a rental in Calabasas where Jermaine and Randy Jackson's kids stay. That adds up to $58,850 ... almost all of her stipend. Trent says in light of that kind of spending, Katherine can afford to pay his attorneys, Ron Rale and Philip Cohen, the more than $58,000 in fees for dragging him into court on a case that was ultimately thrown out. Btw, Trent still believes Katherine's kids coerced her into filing the case. (TMZ)

Herrera's 34-year-old nephew, Reinaldo, was reportedly abducted from a restaurant in Caracas on Thursday night. The attackers also took his 31-year-old business partner, Fabrizio Mendoza, hostage. She's scheduled to receive the 2017 Designer of Excellence award in Chicago on Monday, but no word yet if the ceremony will be canceled or postponed due to the tragedy. UPDATE: Carolina just issued a statement, saying ... "The family and I appreciate your kindness. Our only hope is that the tragic assassination of our young nephew, Reinaldo and his colleague, Fabrizio will serve to mitigate the terrible carnage and murders that are committed against our youth in Venezuela. The Electoral Results must be respected. The Communist Dictatorship must go." (TMZ)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are "Doing so Well," but Here's the Fashion Dilemma She's Facing With Kate Middleton. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in the swing of things. As they approach their first full year of dating, the Suits star and her royal beau are adjusting to having a romance as high profile as theirs. Fortunately, the publicity hasn't taken a toll on their spark. They are "doing so well," a source tells E! News. "Obviously things aren't as intense as when the news about their relationship first came out, and that's really made it easier for them to navigate the craziness when it comes to public attention." While they've figured out how to keep their trips across the pond almost under wraps, there's no denying that a relationship between an English prince and an American TV princess is the stuff of modern fairytales. "On the set, people find it crazy to look at her and think, 'You're pretty much living with Prince Harry,'" the source described. While the world waits patiently to see if Markle will be the one Prince Harry gets down on one knee for, they'll get to watch another pair close to the royal family walk down the aisle first -- Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa Middleton, and her future husband, James Matthews. However, there's one thing the actress needs to figure out before May 20: her outfit! As the insider close to Markle told E! News, she waited to find the perfect outfit to wear for the wedding because it took a while to find out what Duchess Kate will don. Of course, this is not the occasion to accidentally wear the same thing! So, while Markle always styles herself, she bounced ideas off of her Toronto BFF, Jessica Mulroney, who happens to also be a stylist. "Jessica is a fantastic stylist and is smart enough to know that, as well as making sure Meghan looks her best, they also need to be mindful about what Kate is wearing," the insider said. "The last thing anyone would want would be for them to be in a similar color or design. Meghan would never want to attract the wrong kind of attention." (Eonline)

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Take "Romantic" Trip to Paris as Tom Cruise Films M:I6 in the City. Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx recently spent some time in the city of love, while her ex-husband Tom Cruise was not far away. The two have sparked romance rumors since 2013 and have occasionally been seen together in public but have never confirmed a relationship. E! News has learned last year that the notoriously private stars have been dating for years and that that is "not a secret among their friends." "Jamie wrapped filming on Robin Hood and Katie flew in to Paris to meet him for a few days," a source told E! News exclusively. "Tom Cruise was filming Mission Impossible 6 only a few blocks away, but Katie and Jamie stayed inside their hotel...and didn't leave." M:I6 began filming in Paris in April. Foxx plays Little John in a new Robin Hood film, which is being filming in Croatia and Hungary and is set for release in 2018. The source told E! News Foxx and Holmes were scheduled to return to the United States Tuesday via private jet but were told there was a problem with the plane. "Jamie had a big smile on his face as they returned to their hotel and snuck in through a private entrance," the source said. "They were very discreet and made sure to always enter and exit the hotel and the car separately." Another source said the two flew out of Paris together on a private jet Thursday morning. Prior to this week, Holmes and Foxx were most recently spotted together in April, on a dinner date in New York City. Last year, former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan appeared to confirmed the pair's relationship on comedian Theo Von and filmmaker-journalist Matt Cole Weiss' Allegedly podcast, saying, "He is very happy with her." She later said she "misspoke," "I have no knowledge of Jamie with Katie at all," she said. "I've never seen them together. He's never told me he's dating her." (Eonline)

Paris Jackson Poses Topless on Instagram After Sharing Her Honest Thoughts on Nudity. Paris Jackson is kicking off her weekend by going topless. On Friday evening, Hollywood's newest "it girl" took to Instagram to share a revealing photo out on her balcony. Before you voice your opinion about the candid picture, however, you may want to hear what Michael Jackson's daughter has to say about going naked. "I'll say it again for those questioning what I stand for and how I express myself. Nudity started as a movement for 'going back to nature', 'expressing freedom', 'being healthier' and was even called a philosophy. Being naked is part of what makes us human," Paris shared with her followers. "For me it helps me feel more connected to Mama Gaia. I'm usually naked when I garden." She continued, "It's actually a beautiful thing and you don't have to make it sexual the way many Hollywood stars (and the media) do. Not only is your body a temple and should be worshipped as so, but also part of feminism is being able to express yourself in your own way, whether it's being conservative and wearing lots of clothes or showing yourself." Paris also took a moment to express the importance about appreciating your body no matter what size or shape you are. "The human body is a beautiful thing and no matter what 'flaws' you have, whether it be scars, or extra weight, stretch marks, freckles, whatever, it is beautiful and you should express yourself however you feel comfortable," she explained. For those who may be upset at the revealing shot, Paris said that she completely understands and even encouraged her followers to click the "unfollow" button. What she won't do is apologize for sharing her honest opinions. "It is who I am and I refuse to shy away and keep my beliefs a secret. Everyone has an opinion and everyone has their beliefs. We don't always agree with one another and that's okay," she concluded. "But again, we are all human, and to appreciate the things that other people do that make us human helps us feel connected. How can that be a bad thing?" Paris' recent post comes during a special month for the 19-year-old. In the beginning of May, E! News confirmed that Paris would make her feature film debut in director Nash Edgerton's upcoming project for Amazon Studios. She also attended her first Met Gala where she wore a Calvin Klein dress for the star-studded charity event. (Eonline)

The party-loving Jersey Shore alum and mother of son Lorenzo, 4, and daughter Giovanna, 2, took to Instagram Saturday to fire back at people who criticized her parenting, a day before Mother's Day. "So proud of my little girl! ?," she wrote, alongside a photo of her carrying her little girl inside a gymnasium, where the child had taken part in a kids' dance recital. "(Instead of not posting my kids for the people who respect and appreciate their photos, I will turn off the comments section. I don't need assholes telling me how to raise my child and judge them. I'm a damn good mom and know what I'm doing. Well most of the time.)," Snooki continued. Snooki, who also stars with BFF Jenni "JWoww" Farley on the digital series Moms With Attitude, did not specify what she did or posted to draw criticism. Russell Wilson Criticized Over His Mother's Day Tribute to Ciara. Russell Wilson drew some criticism Saturday over a note he penned to wife Ciara just before Mother's Day and two weeks after she gave birth to his first child and their first baby together, daughter Sienna Princess Wilson. The NFL star posted on Instagram a photo of the two at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which she had shared on her own page a year ago, writing, "Nothing better than spending time with you. You are an amazing mom & I'm so grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you & raising our kids. I love you! #HappyMothersDay Weekend my love. @Ciara." Ciara shares a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with her ex and rapper Future. The child will turn 3 next week. The singer's ex has not commented on Russell's post. However, some fans appeared to speak on his behalf and alert him to the message. "You gotta think how @future thinks," one person wrote. "He still has a kid that's not yours and no matter what you have to respect that as a man @dangerusswilson." "Ur kid not our kids baby future is future child," another person said. In 2015, after Russell was photographed walking with Ciara and pushing then-1-year-old Future in a stroller, people taunted Future about it on social media. "Of course I wouldn't want someone pushing my son," the rapper later said on The Breakfast Club. "Like, that's the number one rule. Like, if I was a kid and my mom had a dude pushing me, I would've jumped out of the stroller and slapped the s--t out of...you never do that in our community. You don't even bring a man around your son." (Eonline)

Ariel Winter and her boyfriend pulled up their house-hunting pants -- at least he did -- and hit up several pads around L.A. this week. Ariel and 29-year-old actor Levi Meaden checked out a place in Sherman Oaks together. The 5 bed, 6 bath, 4,668 sq. ft. home comes with a pool, spa, built-in barbecue and outdoor fireplace. Translation: great party spot ... for a cool $2.185 million. Sources close to the couple tell us they're just shopping for now, and haven't put in a bid on the pad. Ariel bought a $1.5 million house in the same area last September, and she recently revealed Levi -- who stars on SyFy's "Aftermath" -- moved in with her. Sounds like they're ready to upgrade. (TMZ)

Local media said they were shot in the head and that a group had abducted them while they ate a restaurant in the city. Authorities said the group asked their relatives for a ransom, which they paid. A championship level boxer -- signed with Mayweather Promotions -- says he's so broke, he's driving Uber to make ends meet. The fighter is Thomas Dulorme -- whose last fight in January was on Showtime Extreme. Before that, he had fought Terrance Crawford ... one of the top fighters in the world. So, you can imagine how crazy it was when a boxing fan ordered up an Uber in Vegas back in April and recognized Dulorme in the driver's seat. Dulorme explained that he was part of Floyd's famous TMT (The Money Team), but says, "I'm part of the team. Not the money." TMZ Sports spoke with the 27-year-old who says he's explored breaking his deal with TMT -- but he believes it would cost him too much money ... money he doesn't have in the first place. We reached out to Mayweather Promotions for their side of the story but haven't heard back. Clearly, there are issues here. By the way, the passenger in the video tells TMZ Sports he gave Dulorme a good rating on Uber. (TMZ)

Cards Against Humanity, "the party game for horrible people," says another game is ripping off its raunchy cards for politically themed decks based on the 2016 election. CAH is suing SCS Direct, which has been selling Humanity Hates Trump and Humanity Hates Hillary packs, not-so cleverly labeled ... "the party game for horrible candidates." CAH says it released 2 America Votes extension packs in 2016 that criticized the then-presidential candidates, and the SCS games are full-on jacking their style. For example, CAH cards read "72 virgins," "a bitch slap" and "vomiting mid-blowjob." The SCS games have "72 virgins" ... "a good old-fashioned bitch slapping" and "blowjob vomit." CAH says knocking off other successful brands -- such as Legos -- is standard ops for SCS. It's suing for all profits from the rival decks and to immediately shut down all sales. SCS Direct's founder, Howard Greenspan, says the lawsuit is a case of corporate bullying and they plan to defend their 20 year reputation. He adds, "Humanity Hates Trump isn't a knockoff, but simply a party game that pokes fun at our President." (TMZ)

JetBlue gave a family the ole heave ho off a flight after a dispute with flight attendants over birthday cake ... that left 2 little kids in tears. The Burke family was flying out of JFK Airport to Las Vegas earlier this month when things got heated. According to Cameron Burke -- who shot video of the incident -- he and his family had the cake as carry-on. It was special ordered to celebrate his wife's 40th. The Burkes say a flight attendant first argued with them over whether to place it in overhead or under the seat ... and then another attendant arrived and said it couldn't be on board at all. Cameron says that 2nd attendant, the "mean" one told him he was being "non-compliant" when he attempted to calm things down. He admits he asked her, "Have you been drinking?" -- because he felt she was being erratic and irrational about a cake. In the video, you can see the Burkes kids getting upset ... especially when police showed up. Officers escorted the Burkes, who went peacefully, off the plane. A JetBlue spokesman told ABC7 -- which first reported the story -- the Burkes were yelling and cursing at the crew, and disruptive. Cameron denies that, and says he's already talking to attorneys about filing a lawsuit. BTW, they re-booked their flight to Vegas ... on United. They did NOT bring the cake. (TMZ)

Harry Styles Covers Kanye West at First-Ever Solo Concert. We guess Harry Styles is on Team Kanye?! The One Directioner may have thrown some major shade at his ex-Taylor Swift when he played his first-ever solo concert in London at Garage Club on Saturday night. The show was a surprise gig, announced earlier in the day with only a limited amount of tickets up for grabs. During the last-minute concert, the 23-year-old performed a rather soulful cover of Kanye West's hit "Ultralight Beam," off his Life of Pablo album -- and the crowd was digging it! We wonder if Tay is? For the secret show, the former boybander looked the picture-perfect rock star, donning a silken purple Gucci suit, complete with an embroidered dragon, black button-down shirt and Roker boots. Styles has been making the rounds recently to promote his self-titled first album, which dropped this weekend. The album has already made headlines with a song, "Two Ghosts," which is rumored to possibly be about his short-lived romance with T-Swizz. Oh we knew you were trouble, Harry! When asked by BBC1's Nick Grimshaw if the song was about his former flame, who has a pretty known and pretty intense rivalry with the rapper whose song the Brit selected to perform, the crooner said, "I think it's pretty self-explanatory." Sounds like a yes to us! Harry is about to begin his first solo tour, Harry Styles Live On Tour, which sold out in seconds earlier this month. The tour begins on Sept. 19 in San Francisco and will end in Tokyo, Japan on Dec. 8. The heartthrob has also been making a slew of promo stops in America to prep for his inaugural album drop and world tour. He was recently a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. During the sketch show, Harry, Jimmy Fallon and Nile Rodgers played a cover of David Bowie's classic "Let's Dance." The singer with the famed coif will displaying his unique vocal and fashion styles all next week, as he's slated for a week-long residency on CBS' The Late Late Show with James Corden May 15-18. Katy Perry is in line to fill the first judge's chair on the new "American Idol" and negotiations have already begun ... TMZ has learned. Sources familiar with the talks tell us Katy is very interested, and is open to scheduling potential tour dates around the show's taping schedule. We're told ABC is fully on board as well and the only snag at this point is, of course, money. As we first reported ... negotiations with Kelly Clarkson stalled due to her salary demands, and she decided to bail and coach on "The Voice" instead. That left 'Idol' behind the 8 ball to land a big name ... and Katy fits that bill ... and then some. We've reached out to Katy's camp ... so far no word back. (TMZ)

Katy Perry is in the homestretch ... negotiating a deal to become the anchor judge on "American Idol," and the announcement is expected to go down Tuesday. TMZ broke the story ... 'AI' honchos set their sights on Perry after their bid for Kelly Clarkson went south and she joined "The Voice." Sources familiar with the negotiations tell us Idol's goal is to announce Katy is joining the reboot during the ABC Upfronts this week. Our sources say they will not announce the other 2 judges because 'Idol' hasn't even decided who it wants. As we reported, Ryan Seacrest will almost certainly be the host. Here's the challenge. Idol went off the air on FOX because it became too expensive to produce, and everyone involved in the show doesn't want a repeat of that problem. Seacrest and Perry will not come cheap, for sure ... so the other 2 judges can't break the bank. Fact is, Idol's last few seasons had big stars, but the show didn't get bang for its buck. We're told the other judges will likely be a songwriter and a music producer. Our sources say producers and the network don't feel the need to get 3 big singing stars on the panel, because ultimately the show is about the competition and making it interesting. Bottom line: Sorry, Steven Tyler. It ain't gonna work out... (TMZ)

Paula Abdul Talks "Exciting" American Idol Revival and New Tour. Will Paula Abdul appear on the new American Idol? It's unclear, and she is also booked solid for the next few months. ABC announced this week it is reviving the singing competition reality show but did not reveal the judges or host. Abdul served as a judge on American Idol for the first eight seasons, along with Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, during its original run on Fox. The series ended in 2015 after 15 seasons. "Idol was and still is one of the most life changing experiences for me," Abdul told E! News exclusively. "I'm so beyond proud to have been there since the inception of it. I think ABC is a great home for Idol. I'm excited for Idol. All the way around -- ABC, Disney, and the record label it's a great home for Idol. I'm forever a fan. I'm just finding out the same way as everyone else and it's very exciting." When asked if she would make an appearance, Abdul told E! News, "I have no idea! My focus is on tomorrow night opening the tour with a bang. We are all looking to open it up with a bang and have a blast!" Abdul is keeping busy with her first tour in 25 years, the Total Package Tour, with New Kids On The Block and Boyz II Men. It began Friday in Columbus Ohio and runs until July. "After the last time I toured, I took six and a half years off because I had some injuries," she said. "Then I showed up on American Idol and that took almost a decade of my life and then I went on to do various television projects and I just missed it! I miss my fans who have been with me since the beginning." "I'm just excited to reconnect with my fans and get back on stage and perform," she continued. "I'm reimaging doing recreations of my hits but done differently." Abdul also talked about how she's been keeping healthy for the tour. "I cut dairy and sugar which for me is very hard," she said. "Sugar is like the hardest thing for me. Sugar is hard because I couldn't keep going through the highs and lows of the crashes of the sugar rush. I started to train and get my cardiovascular situation better than it was because of singing and dancing and because, you know, the older you get the harder it is." "It's constant work but I like the challenge of that. I like to push myself so it's kind of a labor of love," she said. "It's like being in school again and studying for your exams, you have to do the work." (Eonline)

Simon Cowell is up to his old tricks with all new talent, we suspect ... and after doing some digging and putting together a few pieces ... we're certain you're looking at the first shots of his next group of young hitmakers. This all started when we found a trademark application Simon's company filed in January for "Pretty Much." According to the docs, the name would be used in connection with musical recordings, videos, ringtones and tons of merchandise typically associated with bands. Doesn't take a genius to know Cowell has something cooking. Now, cut to Friday evening when we got these pics of 5 dudes showing up at Cowell's Bev Hills mansion. He clearly trusted them, since he let them take his vintage Bronco for a spin ... although he kept a watchful eye from the passenger seat. We know there's been industry buzz Simon's about to launch a new group to continue his ridiculous string of success -- One Direction, Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, etc. -- but he's been keeping details under wraps. Nonetheless, we've heard descriptions of the guys he's putting together -- and we'll just say this ... these pics match ... Pretty Much. (TMZ)

We found video and photos of Simon Cowell's latest creation, Pretty Much, and it shows they could be headed the same direction as some of Simon's other super successful groups. The 5 guys in Pretty Much have been living together in L.A. and doing a ton of rehearsing, and word is they hooked up with Simon to produce the group about 8 months ago. Their names are Brandon Arreaga, Nick Mara, Zion Kuwonu, Austin Porter and Edwin Honoret -- and based on videos they've posted ... it seems they've been busy sharpening their song and dance skills. No clue when they're going to release music -- we've reached out to Simon's label, Syco and haven't heard back yet -- but it looks like Cowell could have another batch of hitmakers. Line forms to the left, girls. (TMZ)

And then there were four ... Five-person a capella group Pentatonix is about to lose Avi Kaplan ... who announced his departure Friday morning in video posted on the group's Facebook page. Avi says he'd been struggling to keep up with the fast pace of the band, and missed his friends and family as well as not being able "to escape into nature when I'm feeling overwhelmed or just need some time to myself." Pentatonix won the third season of NBC's "The Sing-Off" ... and they pop up on almost every award show doing tribute performances. They're about to kick off a summer tour that includes gigs in Japan, and 3 nights at the Hollywood Bowl. Avi says he'll still do all those shows, but after the tour ... he's done. For what it's worth ... the other members did NOT seem thrilled during his taped announcement. (TMZ)

ABC confirmed the actress and the rapper will hit the stage together at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to MC the big night, which will feature many of music's biggest names. The show will mark Ludacris' fourth time hosting, so he'll definitely be able to hand over some tips for Hudgens, who will take the mic for the very first time. The Billboard Music Awards will air live on Sunday, May 21, at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. (Eonline)

Steven Tyler is serious about putting the band together again -- not Aerosmith, but his fellow judges J Lo and Randy Jackson ... for the "American Idol" reboot. Thing is though ... Steven's got a lot of demands. He was at LAX Friday when he sent a message to 'AI' producers about how to take down "The Voice." Steven believes he knows the winning formula, but something doesn't add up. We talked salary with him, and he's got a number in mind. Hint: he's looking at you, Jennifer! But seeing as how we know the Kelly Clarkson talks fell apart over money ... Steven's dream team seems unlikely. Still, gotta take your shot, 'cause ya never know! (TMZ)

Tony Bennett cancels concert over illness. Legendary singer Tony Bennett has canceled a concert in Pennsylvania due to what his publicist calls a mild flu virus. Bennett was scheduled to perform at Sands Bethlehem Event Center on Saturday night. The venue announced Friday the show was postponed. The announcement says the 90-year-old Bennett has been advised not to travel or perform for "the next few days." It says the Grammy winner sends his regrets and all tickets will be honored for a new date. Publicist Sylvia Weiner says there isn't a rescheduled date yet but Bennett "looks forward to continuing his performance schedule very soon." Bennett's 65-year career includes the albums "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" and recent collaborations with Lady Gaga. He won a Grammy for best traditional pop vocal album last year. (PageSix)

Karen Rodriguez Releases Music Video for "Happy April Fools." Karen Rodriguez's dreams are coming true! The former American Idol contestant and now Roc Nation Latin artist just released her first music video for her original song, "Happy April Fools," which was produced by bachata king himself Romeo Santos. "From the moment I met Karen, I knew she was special," Santos exclusively tells E! News. "Working with her on 'Happy April Fools' was magic -- she radiates light and passion in every step of the process. Roc Nation Latin is honored to be a part of her journey, and we can't wait for everyone to know Karen Rodriguez!" We sat with Rodriguez, who revealed to us that there is quite a story behind the song. "The song is called 'Happy April Fools' and there's a reason for that. I actually wrote it on April Fool's Day a couple of years ago, and the inspiration came from a party that there was on April Fool's Day. I planned to meet a boy at that party, and I pretty much fell into a prank. He made it seem that he was coming but he never intended to," she confessed to E! News. "So I was waiting for him all night, and he never showed up. I pretty much stayed until I was the last person. Then I went home and wrote this song, obviously, I was pretty upset but a great song came out of that. I was very inspired, I think I got home at around 4 A.M. and I couldn't stop thinking about the situation. So I got out my iPad and on Garage Band I produced this song and I wrote it. Then I took a nap and I woke up and wrote the Spanish version all in the same day." We, of course, had to ask if this guy who will be kept unnamed is aware that he inspired this track. "No, I don't think he has any idea. I'm very receptive to the things I experience and hear, so there are so many songs that I've written about people that they'll never know that it's about them," Rodriguez said before continuing. "Artists write songs about their long relationships, but I literally just write whenever I get any inspiration. I just go with it. So, I really don't think he would know it's about him. It was such a long time ago." Things truly aligned for Rodriguez when she met Santos a few years ago. "When I met Romeo, I was in a studio session and recording background vocals for Marc Anthony that night, and he happened to be in the studio. I asked him if it was OK to play some of the music that I had written and this song was a part of that bunch. At the time, the only demo that I had of this song was the one that I had created that night on my iPad," she said. "That was the moment that really inspired Romeo to begin this relationship of mentorship with me. Since that day he's taken me under his wing and that's how that flourish. But every time that we would meet up to catch up or work on something, he'd ask me to play this song and he always had the intention of producing it. Rodriguez explained that although the public Romeo as a performer, he's also a phenomenal producer. Before working on side by side with "Happy April Fools," the two worked together co-writing the 35-year-old's hit "Odio," which featured Drake. When it came to shooting her first official music video, Rodriguez has a vision and which she was able to make come to life. "I shot it in Coney Island, and it was freezing that day. The reason I chose this location is that the song itself has a lot of carnival metaphors and the use of games. So I wanted the idea of me walking through a deserted and cold Coney Island. I wanted the viewers to see these visuals and create their own wonderland of a sad Cinderella story," she explains. "Then there's a point in the song when the beat comes in, and then I change clothes, and I'm really singing into the camera. It's that part where I know I've been played, but I'm not going to be the fool because I knew who you were coming into this relationship and I stayed, so that's why the song says 'You can't make a fool of someone that's already a fool.'" And just like Romeo Santos, we also see great things coming from this songstress! (Eonline)

Katy Perry Gets Basted, Kneaded and Served in Skin-Baring (and Slightly Creepy) ''Bon Appetit'' Music Video. Leave it to Katy Perry to take away our appetites right in the middle of lunchtime... The pop star just released her music video for "Bon Appetit" feat. Migos, and let's just say the song's title fits the theme of the new vid. It kicks off with Katy wearing a nude bodysuit with long blonde hair, sleeping under a plastic sheet in what appears to be a kitchen before a crew of chefs come in and cut it apart with knives. They then begin the preparation process -- and yes, by that we mean prepping Katy for serving. The chefs start by massaging all of her limbs with flour (which gives us a close-up of her booty) and kneading her various body parts, twisting and stretching her legs in all different directions (and admittedly made us a little queasy) before they eventually cover her in vegetables and get her ready for the next step: basting. That's right, Katy heads into a massive spa-like pot, wearing just a nude bra and underwear, while the chefs continuously baste her. They finish up the process by chopping off her hair into the pixie cut she's been rocking recently, adding a few extra toppings and serving her on a massive platter in front of a group of what appears to be old, rich people. However, just before they dig in, Katy surprises us all... (Eonline)

Joe Jonas even took to Instagram to write, "Things are about to get real spicy... " And boy was he right! In the clip he teased before the full video was released, Minaj is seen grabbing him by the shirt collar before, well, we won't spoil the whole thing for you. Minaj is about to have a very busy week on her hands as she's expected to perform at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on May 21. Several other stars have been announced as performers as well like Drake, Miley Cyrus and even Cher. What did you think of the "Kissing Strangers" music video? (Eonline)

Sorry, American Idol: Kelly Clarkson Joins The Voice Season 14 as Coach Instead. The Voice is quickly rounding up all your American Idol faves. On the heels of the announcement that Jennifer Hudson would be joining the NBC reality juggernaut's coaching panel for this fall's season 13, E! News has confirmed that the original Idol winner herself Kelly Clarkson has signed on for a spin in those iconic red chairs for season 14. The move is especially surprising considering Clarkson's name has been in the mix as a rumored judge for ABC's upcoming revival of American Idol, due to premiere right around the same time. Clarkson joined mainstay judge Blake Shelton on his Facebook page for a live announcement, breaking the news to their fans. They'll be joined in season 14 by fellow longtime coach Adam Levine. The fourth coach will be announced at a later date. "I'm so excited to join The Voice at NBC," Clarkson said in a statement. "We've gone back and forth about a role as a coach for years, but the timing hasn't been right until now. I have always loved appearing on the show as an adviser or performer and established an amazing relationship with the network during my Christmas special. I can't wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they've needed to break into the industry. Watch out Shelton, I'm comin' to win!!" "Kelly has been a part of The Voice family for many years as an adviser and performer. We are thrilled she has chosen to join us as a coach to mentor the next generation through our unique vocal boot camp," said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment. "Every time Kelly Clarkson sings you are reminded what an incredible voice really is. We are looking forward to the sound of Kelly Clarkson on The Voice." Are you surprised Clarkson chose The Voice over American Idol? The Voice season 12 continues on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. (Eonline)

Gorillaz & All That Remains Crown Rock Album Charts Gorillaz land their second No. 1 on Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums, while All That Remains rules Hard Rock Albums for a second time. Billboard's rock album charts are led by two familiar faces, as Humanz by Gorillaz debuts atop the Top Rock Albums and Alternative tallies (dated May 20), while All That Remains opens at No. 1 on Hard Rock Albums with Madness. Humanz premieres at No. 1 on the Rock and Alternative lists with 140,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 115,000 are via pure album sales. That's the top weekly sales figure for the band in its career, which spans five full-length albums; previously, 2010's Plastic Beach debuted with a best of 112,000 copies sold. The 115,000-copy start for Humanz grants the cartoon band, led by Blur's Damon Albarn, its first weekly top-selling album in the U.S., as the LP bows at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. On the consumption-based Billboard 200, its No. 2 debut matches the best for Gorillaz, first set by Plastic Beach. The new album's equivalent album unit sum of 140,000 also marks the best weekly total for a rock album in 2017, topping the 132,000 achieved by John Mayer's The Search for Everything (May 6). In another 2017 best, Humanz earns the highest total on the Vinyl Albums chart for a release this year, arriving with 12,000 vinyl copies sold. It's the biggest single-week number since Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool made a splash with 19,000 on the chart dated Oct. 22, 2016. Gorillaz also bellow on Billboard's Hot Rock Songs chart, where the band occupies 14 of the survey's 50 slots, led by "Saturnz Barz" (featuring Popcaan), which rises 13-11. Landing 14 songs on the chart puts Gorillaz in a three-way tie for the second-most titles logged on Hot Rock Songs simultaneously, with Mumford & Sons (Oct. 20, 2012) and, most recently, Blink-182 (July 23, 2016). Only David Bowie (21 titles, Jan. 30, 2016) has charted more at the same time, following the Jan. 8, 2016, release of his album Blackstar and his death two days later. Meanwhile, All That Remains' No. 1 debut on Hard Rock Albums marks the Springfield, Massachusetts, heavy metal act's second topper on the tally. Madness debuts with 11,000 equivalent album units (10,000 in pure sales). The band's first No. 1, For We Are Many, debuted atop Hard Rock Albums dated Oct. 30, 2010; since then, 2012's A War You Cannot Win bowed and peaked at No. 2 while 2015's The Order of Things reached No. 3. The new album's lead single "Madness" has reached No. 11 on the Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart. It could become All That Remains' seventh top 10 on the ranking; one, 2013's "Stand Up," crowned the chart for two weeks. (Billboard)

Paul McCartney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Poster Revealed. Again, Paul is not dead...because dead men tell no tales. And Paul McCartney will, because the former Beatles musician and '60s rock icon will join Johnny Depp and the rest of the cast in the newest Pirates of the Caribbean sequel. Deadline had reported news of his casting last year. On Saturday, the 74-year-old singer-songwriter shared a poster for his character in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth movie in the series, on his Instagram page. "#PiratesLife #PaulMcCartney," he wrote alongside the photo, which shows him dressed as a bearded pirate holding some cards. The picture was also posted on Disney's Instagram page. A cast list shows McCartney is playing a pirate jail guard in the film. McCartney and Depp, who is also a musician, have known each other for years. And the Pirates movies certain have a major rock star influence; Depp's character Jack Sparrow was partially inspired by Keith Richards, the bassist of iconic '60s rock group The Rolling Stones. He played Sparrow's father Captain Teague in the previous two films, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set for release on May 26. (Eonline)

It's almost here! The eagerly anticipated Love Actually reunion airs in the U.S. on May 25, but a new trailer reveals more about what happened to the characters from the beloved 2003 film. The new sneak peek for the Red Nose Day mini-movie, was released online on Thursday, May 11, and catches up with Hugh Grant, Knightley, Liam, Colin Firth and Andrew Lincoln. While U.K. TV viewers got to see Grant's British prime minister dancing to Drake's "Hotline Bling" when the reunion ran on BBC 1 in March, Stateside fans have yet to see the whole segment. The trailer kicks off with Grant saying, "It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, it's always there. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around." Then the scene cuts to Liam Neeson and his now-grownup stepson (played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster) sitting on the same bench as in the film, and talking about love trouble. "Urgh, here we go again," Neeson says. Then a series of quick cuts show Grant getting his groove on, Bill Nighy's aging rocker claiming that the best sex he ever had was with "one of the Kardashians," and Knightley opening the door to The Walking Dead's Lincoln, who holds up a series of signs, just as he did in the movie. Firth and his onscreen wife, Lucia Moniz, are also shown as Stevie Wonder's "For Once in My Life" plays in the background. As Us Weekly previously reported, Emma Thompson doesn't reprise her role as Grant's sister. She said in an interview in February that it would be "too sad" to shoot scenes without her celluloid husband Alan Rickman, who died in January 2016 at the age of 69. Watch the whole Red Nose Day Actually reunion on NBC Thursday, May 25, at 10 p.m. ET. (US Weekly)

Ken Jeong Joining Jon M. Chu's 'Crazy Rich Asians'. Constance Wu and newcomer Henry Golding will lead an all-Asian cast. A day after ABC canceled his sitcom Dr. Ken, star Ken Jeong has found a new gig. The Hangover actor is joining the Jon M. Chu adaptation of Kevin Kwan's New York Times best-selling novel, Crazy Rich Asians. The feature boasts an all-Asian cast that will be led by Constance Wu and newcomer Henry Golding, and also includes Gemma Chan, Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina. Crazy Rich Asians follows Rachel Chu (Wu), an America-born Chinese economics professor, who travels to her history professor boyfriend Nick's (Golding) hometown of Singapore for his best friend's wedding. What Rachel soon finds out is that Nick comes from an incredibly wealthy family and is the most eligible bachelor in Asia, meaning every single woman in his ultra-rarefied social circle now wants to bring Rachel down. Color Force's Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, as well as Ivanhoe president John Penotti, are producing. Kevin Kwan will serve as executive producer along with Ivanhoe chairman Robert Friedland. Courtenay Valenti and Jon Gonda will oversee the project for Warner Bros. The movie is set to film entirely on location in Singapore and Malaysia. Jeong is known for his role as a bombastic Spanish professor in Dan Harmon's Community. His last feature film role was in Ride Along 2 and he is set for the Nina Dobrev-led romance-drama Departures. He is repped by CAA and Stone Genow. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Snatched' Director on Casting Goldie Hawn: Amy Schumer "Advocated for Her Very Hard". Director Jonathan Levine also opens up about making the controversial Beyonce "Formation" spoof on set. Goldie Hawn is back on the big screen for the first time in 15 years. But despite an Oscar and Golden Globe to her name, convincing 20th Century Fox to cast the comedy icon in Snatched was not a simple process. The film, opening nationwide Friday, sees Emily Middleton (Amy Schumer) convince her divorced, cat-obsessed mother (Goldie Hawn) to vacation with her in Ecuador. Their trip takes a dangerous turn when the two are kidnapped for ransom. Director Jonathan Levine says Amy Schumer spearheaded the casting of Hawn as her overprotective mother. "Amy advocated for her very hard," Levine tells The Hollywood Reporter. "We had the list of the usual suspects of people who could play Amy's mom. Amy would keep bringing up Goldie. No one was necessarily opposed to the idea -- I mean, it's Goldie Hawn. But we didn't know why she hadn't acted in so long. There were so many variables." Hawn reportedly took a 15-year hiatus in order to pursue other interests, including writing books and creating MindUP, an educational program for children. Levine, Schumer and Hawn met at the Sunset Marquis Hotel to discuss the potential casting in person. Levine recalls seeing Schumer light up around Hawn and vice versa: "There's just no other word for it but chemistry. From that moment on, I was completely on board." He continues, "We were all like a team advocating for her with the studio. The studio was not opposed to it either. I mean we all love Goldie." Once Fox was convinced, Levine did not look back. "You can feel the excitement that people have about seeing her on screen again. To harness that energy and to selfishly draft off that good will and put that in our movie -- I'd be crazy not to do it." But he admits it was "scary" to work with the Hollywood veteran. "You definitely feel like it's a big responsibility. You know she's a comedy icon. And you want to do right by her." The 40-year-old director suggests that the lack of meaningful roles in Hollywood for women of a certain age impacted Hawn's break from the film business. "There's a very short list of actors with comedy chops and box office impact who are over the age of 60. The roles for them are not always great, and that certainly played a part in why Goldie had not been acting in so long. That was another reason that she really appealed to me," Levine explains. "She has not tarnished her brand by playing the mom in some sitcom or whatever. You associate her with quality film projects." As for Schumer's casting, "who better to play this kind of very flawed, narcissistic, yet hopefully likeable human than Amy?" he asks. "She is so happy to be a butt of the joke. She's also willing to let other women feel like they're not alone when they're embarrassed or ashamed." Joining Hawn and Schumer in the film is another comedy veteran: Joan Cusack. Levine says Cusack was easily convinced to play a mute, ex-member of the special ops forces. She took her role "immensely seriously," even meeting with a military expert on set for advice and training. During production, Snatched came under fire when Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer filmed a parody video of Beyonce's Formation. Critics slammed the spoof as cultural appropriation and racial insensitivity, as Beyonce's video is perceived as an instruction for black female empowerment. Levine offers his take on the situation: "That's the thing about working with Amy is she really is a lightning rod for controversy, but she also is someone who speaks her mind, so it becomes a double-edged sword. I try to not to over think it. As a director, if you go obsessively down these rabbit holes, you probably start to go crazy, so maybe that's my blind spot, but it's one that preserves my sanity." The director shares his small role in the making of it, which involved playing the Formation song for Hawn and Schumer to dance to from his phone. The final cut of Snatched includes a Beyonce reference to her song "Single Ladies." When asked about leaving that line, the director says the connection to the parody video "didn't even occur" to him. "Perhaps this is kind of my bad, but it didn't even really resonate with me. This was just the character in the movie referencing Beyonce as a character who would like Beyonce. We didn't put any Beyonce songs in the movie. I think we originally did have Formation in the trailer, and we took it out." Levine also spoke to the decision to keep jokes about rape whistles in the film. "We're pushing the envelope by mentioning that word [rape], but it's not something where we would ever make light of that actual act. You never want to make light of something like that. There are lines that you don't cross," he explains. "There were jokes in the movie that crossed the line, and those jokes we cut out of the movie." Levine reflects on his eighth directing credit on a feature: "I'm happy with how it turned out ... If this movie does well enough to make a sequel, I'll do a thousand sequels." (Hollywood Reporter)

Box Office: 'King Arthur' Takes $1.2M, 'Snatched' Grabs $650K Thursday. Holdover 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' is expected to top the domestic box office again this weekend. Warner Bros.' King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword earned an estimated $1.2 million in Thursday night previews while Fox's comedy Snatched grabbed $650,000 from 2,625 locations. King Arthur, helmed by Guy Ritchie and starring Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law, is projected to debut in the $25 million range domestically after costing Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow $175 million to produce before a major marketing spend. The story follows Arthur, who had a tough upbringing in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy. Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana also star. Amy Schumer's breakout film Trainwreck earned $1.8 million in previews in July 2015 and went on to a domestic debt of $30 million. Snatched, starring Schumer and Goldie Hawn, is not expected to hit those sort of extraordinary numbers, and is tracking to earn in the mid-teen millions. The R-rated action comedy from Fox and Chernin Entertainment follows a mother and daughter who find themselves trying to escape after being abducted on vacation in Ecuador. Snatched, costing $42 million to make, marks Hawn's first turn on the big screen in 15 years. The two newcomers won't be able to catch Disney and Marvel's holdover, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which is expected to easily stay No. 1 with another $60 million plus this weekend. New Girl to End After Season 7. It's time to start packing up the loft. New Girl has been renewed for a seventh and final season by Fox, the network announced on Sunday. The season six finale would've served as a pretty great series finale, with Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) finally getting together (again!), and Cece (Hannah Simone) revealing she's pregnant with Schmidt's (Max Greenfield). The gang's all grown up and it'll be fun to see them tackle the next stage of adulthood in their final season. Ahead of the season six finale, which aired on April 4, Jake Johnson hinted that the show could be coming to an end in an interview with The Daily Beast. "Fox won't tell us [whether the show will be renewed]. But we shot a finale where, if this was the end, the core fan base would be OK." He later clarified his comments on Twitter, saying, "Let's be clear. I have no idea if NG is coming back. I was doing an interview for #WinItAll & was asked my guess. We've been told it's 50/50." May we suggest a game of True American to celebrate the renewal news? New Girl premiered in 2011 and was quickly became one of the year's biggest new hits, averaging 8.22 million viewers. The season six finale brought in two million viewers. Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik recently welcomed their second child, Charlie Wolf. There's no word yet if production on the seventh and final season will be impacted. In season five, Megan Fox was brought in to accommodate for Deschanel's maternity leave after giving birth to her first child. (Eonline)

Teacher who co-hosted 'Live' lands TV gig. He may have lost his spot to Ryan Seacrest, but the high school teacher who gained fame on "Live" has another shot at playing co-host. Richard Curtis, who sat alongside Kelly Ripa several times in the fall, will be co-hosting "Good Day Philadelphia" on FOX29 next week. "Richard is a natural," said the network's news director Jim Driscoll. "You can see the impact he makes in the classroom, [and] he's made the same impact on TV." After Curtis' solid performances on the daily morning show, the Pennsylvania teacher was reportedly in the running for the permanent seat next to Ripa amid her search for a new co-host. Since the vacancy has been filled by Seacrest, Curtis was presented with another on-camera gig when FOX29 asked him on-air to fill in. "We can't wait to have him cohost 'Good Day' with us all next week," Driscoll said. But considering that Seacrest's schedule might be picking up, a potential return to "Live" for Curtis may not be too far off. (PageSix)

Timeless Renewed! NBC Un-Cancels Time Travel Drama After Fan Outrage. Everybody makes mistakes sometimes, even major networks. NBC canceled Timeless earlier this week, and everyone and their mother unleashed their disappointment on Twitter. (Literally, our moms were so mad.) The show was trending, celebs like Leslie Jones were letting their outrage known, and creator Eric Kripke promised he was "trying to find another home." It turns out that he didn't need to, because NBC has changed its mind! Timeless will return for a second season sometime in 2018, meaning the history lessons can continue and Lucy (Abigail Spencer) and the gang don't have to end their mission to stop Rittenhouse from doing whatever it is they've been doing throughout the entire existence of America. Kripke and fellow creator Shawn Ryan rejoiced on Twitter. "So huge thanks to @nbc for supporting us. And THANKS for the fan support. It's a MAJOR reason we're back. It worked, guys! #TimelessRenewed" They even promised roles for Jones and fellow celeb fan William Shatner in season two, which will consist of 10 episodes. So let this be a lesson to all of us: getting angry online actually works sometimes, and Timeless is a great show that we should all be watching. Timeless, which also stars Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, and Sakina Jaffrey, will return to NBC in 2018. (Eonline)

Arrested Development: Jason Bateman Has Officially Signed on for Season 5. Get ready to chicken dance once more, Arrested Development fans! Jason Bateman has confirmed that he's officially signed on for a fifth season of the beloved comedy. The erstwhile Michael Bluth broke the news to fans on Twitter, writing, "Look (sic) very probable I'm going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today." The news comes after much speculation over whether Netflix would be able to wrangle the famous cast for another season following the streaming giant's season four revival back in 2013. While the revival was met with mixed reviews, with some fans disappointed that most episodes centered around only one character, depriving us of the large group scenes that delivered such hilarity during the show's original 2003-06 run on Fox, that hasn't seemed to have deterred Netflix or the creative minds responsible for bringing the Bluths to life. At CinemaCon back in 2016, Will Arnett told E! News' Marc Malkin that the cast was always interested in continuing the show. "It is something that everybody wants to do in theory, but you know how theories are," he said. At the time, he confirmed that creator Mitch Hurwitz had already "written some stuff" and that "all the cast wants to get together and do it." Luckily for us, it seems like they got their wish. Arrested Development stars Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter and David Cross, as well as Bateman and Arnett. Are you looking forward for another season with the Bluths? Arrested Development seasons one through four are available for streaming on Netflix. (Eonline)

News he was looking forward to the singing competition's series rebirth on ABC. "I love American Idol," told E! News at the premiere of HBO's Wizard of Lies. "I had a great time doing it. I think it's going to be great. I'm not sure how they're going to revamp or relaunch it, but whatever I do I'm sure it'll be great." ABC announced it was reviving American Idol after rumors circulated that both NBC and Fox were interested in getting the series back on air. A host and judges will be announced at a later date. "Idol is an entertainment icon, and now it will air where it belongs, in ABC's lineup of addictive fan favorites alongside Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor. America, get ready for the return of a bigger, bolder and better-than-ever Idol." Connick Jr. joined American Idol in season 12 and stayed on the judging panel alongside Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez until the end when the show wrapped in April 2016. "I've been so busy with my show... we'll see what happens in the future." Connick Jr.'s talk show, Harry, was renewed for a second season in March 2017. Lauren Graham on More Gilmore Girls, Not Getting Murdered & Alexis Bledel's "Fantastic" Handmaid's Tale Role. Lauren Graham doesn't want to get murdered. The Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life star told E! News she does not want to share who she personally would like to be the -- SPOILER ALERT -- father of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) baby because of what would happen to her. "I could never say that because I would be murdered in a Starbucks by the other team. So, I would like to live a little longer," Graham told us. The Gilmore Girls revival ended with Rory telling her mom, Lorelai (Graham), that she was pregnant. Who's the daddy? All signs point to Logan (Matt Czuchry), an old beau with whom she had a final romp. And the lingering look Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) gave Rory in his final scene to indicate he's still in love with her... would he help raise her baby a la Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai? Viewers may never know. "All I can tell you is all I could tell you between 2009 and 2015, which is I don't know. I'm always the last to know," Graham said about more episodes of Gilmore Girls. "I loved doing this on Netflix. It was honestly my favorite days of my life that I've ever had and I'm in love with [Amy Sherman Palladino and Dan Palladino's] writing. I, on the one hand I could do it forever, but then you have to step back and consider what's best for the show and what's best for what they want to do... You never want to stay too long. I think the way we got to do it was perfect." "I want more too," she continued. "If it's good for the show, I guess." After wrapping the Gilmore Girls revival Graham went into the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, it's the first season of Larry David's HBO comedy since 2011. "It was really fun. It's very un-Lorelai, my character. It was fantastic, it was like the perfect answer to -- Parenthood was a little more free, then I went back to Gilmore Girls, very structured and scripted, and then I did Curb where you work from a two-page outline," Graham spilled. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is streaming on Netflix. (Eonline)

Grey's Anatomy Might Have Just Killed Off [Spoiler]. Grey's Anatomy confirmed many of our suspicions Thursday night, but it still managed to shock us pretty seriously. First, let's talk about that ending. Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) was held hostage by a psychotic rapist patient after thinking he just wanted to be reunited with the love of his life, instead of the woman he had been trying to rape when she caused the car they were in to go off of a cliff. He planned to set a small fire to get the emergency doors open, but instead, Edwards set him on fire, which also lit up an oxygen tank and caused a huge explosion. Maybe, possibly, Stephanie could survive, but it's not looking likely. That was a pretty big explosion, and Hinton is reportedly leaving the show. Still, we're not ready to watch another one of these doctors die! Elsewhere, Owen (Kevin McKidd) found out that his sister Megan is somehow still alive, and Alex (Justin Chambers) encountered Jo's husband (played by guest star Matthew Morrison) at a conference and imagined beating him up. Instead, he just told him to stay away from his ex-wife, but we can't imagine he's gone for good at this point. In slightly better news, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Riggs (Martin Henderson) continued to get closer, though Mer is struggling with letting him stay over with her kids in the house. Next week's finale looks extra intense with the hospital on fire, and as Kelly McCreary told us, "Everyone is in danger." Remember how happy and not devastating last year's finale was? Those were some good times. How are you feeling? Do you think Stephanie is dead? Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

Riverdale: See What Would've Been 13 Reasons Why Star Ross Butler's Final Scene as Reggie. We can always count on Reggie to keep it classy. Riverdale is set to recast the role of the Archie's football teammate/high school nemesis, with Ross Butler leaving the CW hit series due to his commitment to 13 Reasons Why, his other hit show that recently scored a second season at Netflix. Due to a jampacked finale, which ended with a deadly cliffhanger, Butler's final scene as Reggie didn't make the episode's final cut, but E! News has the hilarious scene for your viewing pleasure. In the deleted scene, a pregnant Polly finally returns to Riverdale High School, even rocking her River Vixen cheerleading uniform. Flanked by Betty and Veronica, the trio are soon stopped by Reggie, who is just about as gross as you'd expect him to be. "Oh damn, Polly, as if I didn't already have mommy issues," Reggie says. And when Veronica tells him to "beat it," he manages to take it even further, saying, "Oh, I will. Later. And I will be thinking of you, mama." Charming as ever! Viewers can definitely expect to see more of Reggie next season, with showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa telling E! News, "We want a lot of Reggie in season two, stay tuned for a little more news about that. We want more Reggie in season two, and hopefully we'll have that." In April, it was announced the role of Reggie would be recast. (An actor has yet to be announced.) "We love what Ross did with the role of Reggie [this season], but because of his commitments to other projects, we couldn't use him nearly as much as we would have liked," Aguirre-Sacasa said in a statement. "[Next season], we want more Reggie on our show -- he's Archie's rival! -- and because Ross is unavailable to come back to Riverdale, we're looking for a new Reggie. Those are big shoes to fill, but we're confident we can find an actor who is as funny and sexy as Ross. And of course we all wish Ross the best." Riverdale will return for a season two on The CW. (Eonline)

Riverdale Shocker: Major Character to Be Recast in Season 2. Tryouts are now open for a new Bulldog. Ross Butler will not be returning to Riverdale for its second season, E! News has confirmed. However, fans will still be seeing his character Reggie in the hallways of Riverdale High as the role will be recast. "We love what Ross did with the role of Reggie [this season], but because of his commitments to other projects, we couldn't use him nearly as much as we would have liked," Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said. "[Next season], we want more Reggie on our show -- he's Archie's rival! -- and because Ross is unavailable to come back to Riverdale, we're looking for a new Reggie. Those are big shoes to fill, but we're confident we can find an actor who is as funny and sexy as Ross. And of course we all wish Ross the best." Hm...something tells us this has to do with the success of Butler's other teen drama, 13 Reasons Why, which has become the most-tweeted about TV show of the year since its March 31 debut on Netflix. While 13 Reasons has yet to be picked up for a second season, it seems likely the Selena Gomez-produced show will come back. Still, Butler wasn't offering up any scoop when he visited E! News. "I don't know anything, to be honest," Butler told us of a potential season two. "I don't know anything!" TV Line first reported the news of Butler's exit from Riverdale. In other season two casting news for the breakout hit, Mark Consuelos has been cast as Veronica's imprisoned dad, Hiram Lodge. If his Fox show Pitch isn't picked up for a second season, he would join Riverdale as a series regular. Riverdale airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on the CW. 13 Reasons Why is currently streaming on Netflix. UPDATE: Charles Melton, who appeared on Glee and American Horror Story: Hotel, will be taking over the role of Reggie in season two. (Eonline)

Once Upon a Time Renewed for Season 7. Once Upon a Time isn't going anywhere. ABC has renewed the series for a seventh season, though it will likely be a very different-looking season than we've ever seen before, especially since we already know it will be missing its main character. Jennifer Morrison recently announced her departure, and EPs Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis spoke to press about what the future of the show might look like. "I think if there's one thing this show has done, it's reinvented itself every year and so this show has the ability to be many different shows so we feel like creatively it's time to end a few stories but the new show, we feel like this is the kind of show that regenerates," Kitsis said. "And I think when you see the [season six] ending you'll go, 'Oh yeah!'" "I think the way we sort of look at it is these are stories for these characters and there are set end points to different stories but that doesn't mean that there aren't new stories for different characters," Horowitz said. "So I think that by the end of the season finale, a lot of what we've been doing for the last six years is wrapped up in a very satisfying way and then we move forward in a way that at the end of it, hopefully you'll see what we're hoping to do in season seven." Horowitz tweeted the renewal news with a simple "7." The two-hour season six finale, which airs this Sunday, will find Emma fighting the Final Battle against the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray) after yet another curse has befallen the town of Storybrooke, and it's going to be harder than ever to break that curse. "The breaking of the curse involves something far more dramatic than anything that's ever broken a curse before -- if it were to break! I am not saying it breaks! We could all just be blown into oblivion and that's just it," Ginnifer Goodwin told reporters. "What broke the very first season's curse was the kiss, a very pure unromantic true love expressed between mother and son. The love that it takes in the finale in order to do what has to be done to break the curse, I feel is categorically bigger." What that means for the end of the season and the beginning of the next season has yet to be seen, but at least now we know that there's another season to look forward to! Once Upon a Time's finale airs Sunday, May 14 at 8 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Renewed for Season 5. You haven't seen the last of Phil Coulson! While it seemed touch and go there for a while, ABC has renewed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a fifth season. Though the network ordering the shiny new Marvel's Inhumans straight-to-series for the fall, it appears there's room for more than one Marvel series on the line-up and Coulson and the gang will back to protect Earth from all manner of foes. However, no word yet on episode count or when season five will debut. Now all that's standing in their way is pesky Aida (Mallory Jansen) and her plot to, you know, destroy the world. Despite sagging ratings in its new 10 p.m. time slot, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been on a creative upswing this season, with the three story "pods," as creator Jed Whedon refers to them, standing out as some of the series' best work yet. With the team finally free from the Framework (save for poor Mack) and Ghostrider himself Robbie Reyes (Gabe Luna) back from that other dimension that devoured him and his evil uncle whole earlier this year, the season finale proves to be nail biter. But at least now that'll only be in terms of story. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Iain de Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and Henry Simmons. Are you relieved S.H.I.E.L.D. will live to fight another day? Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s season four finale airs Tuesday, May 16 at 10 p.m. on ABC. (Eonline)

'Blacklist: Redemption' Canceled at NBC After 1 Season. The spinoff of the James Spader debuted midseason. It's one-and-done for Blacklist: Redemption. NBC has canceled the Blacklist spinoff after one season, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. While NBC has found success in recent years with the rapid expansion of the Chicago franchise, the results were less than ideal for the first spinoff of The Blacklist. Blacklist: Redemption opened soft in the flagship drama's Thursday time slot, averaging a 1.2 rating and 6.3 million viewers -- both steep dips from the numbers the mothership continues to bring in. The drama, led by Famke Janssen and original series star Ryan Eggold, was a tough sell for renewal as it is one of the few NBC dramas hailing from an outside studio Sony Pictures Television. This marks the latest cancelation for independent studio Sony, which also produced axed freshman time-travel drama Timeless for NBC and the canceled sophomore multicam sitcom Dr. Ken at ABC. NBC passed on its entire slate of pilots from outside studios this season, as the broadcast network push further for ownership. However, the studio had a key pickup Thursday with the two-season renewal for The Goldbergs on ABC that will keep the family comedy on the air through season six. NBC also renewed the Sony-produced Blacklist for season five, bringing the James Spader drama to 100 episodes. (Hollywood Reporter)

'Elementary' Star Lucy Liu Heads to Hulu's 'Difficult People'. The actress will have a multiple-episode arc on the third season of the Billy Eichner-Julie Klausner comedy. Lucy Liu is exchanging Sherlock Holmes for Billy Eichner. The star of CBS' Elementary -- currently awaiting word on its sixth season -- has booked a role on Hulu comedy Difficult People. Liu will take on the role of Veronica, a morally corrupt, taste-challenge and highly successful book alpha female. She is the book editor who gives Marilyn (Andrea Martin) a chance to publish her own book. Liu will appear in multiple episodes on the third season of the Billy Eichner-Julie Klausner comedy. Liu becomes the latest addition to season three of the comedy and joins John Cho, who will recur and portray Billy's first serious boyfriend. The 10-episode third season will bow Tuesday, Aug. 8 on Hulu. Meanwhile, Liu is awaiting word on if Sherlock Holmes drama Elementary will be back for a sixth season at CBS. A formal decision is expected in the coming days ahead of the network's upfront presentation to ad buyers in New York. Liu's credits include Charlie's Angels, Ally McBeal and Kill Bill. She's repped by ICM, Untitled and Schreck Ros (Hollywood Reporter)
