Jessica Chastain Marries Fashion Exec Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in Italy. Jessica Chastain is a married woman! The Hollywood actress said "I Do" to Italian fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo in front of friends and family during a romantic wedding ceremony, E! News has learned. The longtime couple tied the knot Saturday in an intimate ceremony at Villa Tiepolo Passi in Carbonera in front of family and friends, including celebs such as Anne Hathaway, who arrived with husband Adam Shulman and was Chastain's co-star in Interstellar, and Emily Blunt, who appeared with her in The Huntsman: Winter's War. The two actresses were photographed at a pre-wedding dinner Friday. "The wedding was stunning," a source told E! News. "Jessica's dress was perfect and you could tell she was very nervous walking down the aisle. The food was delicious." The source said many of the groom's family members attended, as he has a "huge family," while most of Chastain's guests were close friends. The Hollywood actress and the Italian, who is a real-life count, have been dating since 2012, but have managed to keep an extremely low-profile despite dating for several years. It's no surprise that the 40-year-old star, who is a California native, traveled to Italy for her big day. "Italy was a place where they always wanted to get married," the source told E! News. Another insider had told E! News that the wedding would likely be in Gian's native country because "Gian comes from a huge family," adding, "Jessica loves his family and they love her." In 2015, the actress told People that she wasn't sure if marriage was in the cards for her. "I'm not quite sure of what I want in my life, and who knows if marriage is a part of it," said the actress. "So to me, marriage is not an important thing." She also shared in the past that she admires her boyfriend's "passion for the arts," but didn't go too in-depth about her main man. Chastain been clear that she likes to keep her private life private. "I am very, very happy," she teased during an Extra interview in February 2013. "It's a wonderful thing when a career does so well and your personal life goes so well." Things appear to have only gotten better... Congratulations to the happy couple! (Eonline)

Amanda Bynes Regains Control of Her Finances After Court Agrees She's 'Doing So Much Better,' Attorney Says. Amanda Bynes has made such healthy strides over the last year that a judge has allowed her to regain control of her personal finances, PEOPLE has exclusively learned. After nearly three years of her mother Lynn acting as the conservator over both her personal and financial affairs, the once-troubled actress, 31, was deemed fit to handle the latter by the courts in March. "Because Amanda was doing much better, in October 2016, after providing a detailed accounting of the estate and accounting for every expenditure and receipt, Lynn petitioned the court to terminate the conservatorship of the estate," her conservatorship attorney Nyree Kolanjian tells PEOPLE. "Then after several hearings and detailed presentations to the judge regarding her progress and plans moving forward, the court approved the petition and handed control over her estate back to Amanda and her parents to handle privately outside of the courts." While Lynn remains conservator over her "person," which includes health and medical decision-making, the courts are no longer involved in the financial realm. "The court felt, based on Amanda's progress and her great relationship with her parents, there was no longer a need for court supervision of Amanda's money and she and her family can handle her financial affairs privately," Kolanjian says. "This was a first step in the right direction. Amanda's doing fantastic." After grappling with personal mental health issues and a string of brushes with the law -- including two hit and run charges in 2012 and two DUI arrests -- Bynes mostly retreated from the spotlight. Over the last four years, she's focused on personal healing, repairing her once-strained relationship with her parents, as was well as her studies at fashion and design school. On Friday, Bynes opened up to Hollyscoop's Diana Madison in an interview (her first in four years) and revealed that she's three years sober and plans to return to acting. "I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show that I'm the star of it," she said. Bynes' last acting credit was in 2010's Easy A with Emma Stone. She was previously the star of sitcom What I Like About You from 2002-2006, and The Amanda Show from 1999-2002. As Bynes looks forward to her next chapter, those in her circle are encouraged. "Her parents are thrilled with Amanda's progress and how well she's been doing," says Kolanjian. "They have a great relationship and have a lot of faith in Amanda." (People)

Kaitlin Olson's real-life misadventures in babysitting. Even famous actresses have horror stories about their days babysitting. "I started [babysitting] at 12-years-old, which is totally ridiculous now that I have kids," Kaitlin Olson told Page Six at the ATX TV Festival on Friday, "I would never let a 12-year-old watch both of my children." "The Mick" actress, 41, continued, "I was, with the best of intentions, spinning a little girl by holding onto her hands and running around in circles, so she kind of Superman-ed around and I dislocated her elbow." Olson told us she was so freaked out by the accident that she tried to convince the little girl and her mother that she banged it against a wall. "I mean I was a child," she said, adding, "I'm pretty sure the elbow is fine, but I'm not totally 100 percent certain." On "The Mick," Olson plays a reckless woman who's forced to take care of her sister's three spoiled children after she flees the country to avoid criminal charges. "It's very freeing to play a character who does not give a s–t about anybody else and is very confident in all of her decisions," Olson told us, adding that she's nothing like Mickey in real life. "I'm nice and I'm a good mom. I mean, you know, I get a little crazy sometimes, but I'm not an a–hole." (PageSix)

'Grace & Frankie' actress in awe of co-star Jane Fonda. June Diane Raphael still can't believe she's working alongside acting legends Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. "It's totally insane and everyday I'm like, 'This is so weird that they know my name,'" the "Grace & Frankie" actress told Page Six at the ATX TV Festival on Saturday. "I'm learning so much from watching them work. It's so cool to watch them do their thing." The 37-year-old comedian plays Fonda's daughter on the Netflix hit, which is almost done filming Season 4. What I love so much about Jane is that she's so open about her vulnerabilities," Raphael told us. "She's so open about what she wants to learn. To be in a place in your life where I think a lot of people could be like, 'Oh, I know enough or I'm just going to do what I know,' is easy to do, but she's someone who's like, 'No, I want to learn. I want to get better.' I mean she will take a note from a homeless person on the street." She continued, "It's really cool because she doesn't have to be like that. [She] can do it whatever way [she] wants to do it, [she's] Jane f–king Fonda." (PageSix)

Mayim Bialik: "Getting Naked Is Not the Only Way to Feel Empowered." Mayim Bialik is here to tell you why she's not prude but everyone needs to stop getting naked! In a YouTube video released Thursday, the Big Bang Theory actress called out the models who embrace their curves, arguing that they don't need to get naked in order to empower other women. To be clear, Bialik isn't shaming them for showing off their bodies. "I'm not going to lie, I have spent some of my life wishing I was pretty and skinny like other women," she said. But she also questioned the real impact these actions have on young women. "It should not be taken lightly that the message to present yourself as sexy and desirable may have more of an impact on young women than intended," she said, adding that "the message that we are sending especially to young girls is above all else to be sexy." "I think the trap that were falling into is that we start to equate empowerment, not with strength or intelligence or confidence, but with sexiness," Bialik said. The Blossom alum encouraged people to "continue to tell young girls that their bodies are special and amazing. Encourage girls not to fear their bodies or their sexually. Be explicit that no one has the right to touch you in a way you don't want to be touched no matter how you're dressed." "Getting naked is not the only way to feel empowered as a beautiful person," she said. (Eonline)

Eddie Cibrian Responds to Brandi Glanville's Accusations About LeAnn Rimes. Eddie Cibrian has broken his silence about what he calls ex-wife Brandi Glanville's "false and reverse accusations" of alleged stalking about his current wife LeAnn Rimes. His ex-had told E! News that Rimes has been "going after" her boyfriend Donald Friese and "checking his stuff." She said on social media Friday that last month, the singer and her assistant watched four of Friese's Snapchats and then showed up with Cibrian and Glanville's two sons at a Malibu restaurant where Friese and Glanville had said online that they were heading to. Glanville included a screenshot one of the Snapchats and a list of usernames of people who viewed them, which includes Rimes. "Stalking my boyfriend to show up with my kids was the last straw," Glanville tweeted. "I normally don't respond to Brandi's foolishness but I will not allow false and reverse accusations to go unanswered about my wife," Cibrian said in a statement. "LeAnn is a fantastic stepmom to the boys and is always gracious to their mother. Having to put up with Brandi's made up drama all the time is extremely frustrating. After eight years we should have one priority, making sure two incredible kids are loved and remain happy and healthy. But every couple of months there is another accusation coming from Brandi in an attempt to drum up drama to stay relevant." "LeAnn and I did not nor have we ever 'shown up' at places where Brandi will be," he said. "Why would we do that? Makes no sense. We had a reservation held at Nobu five days before Brandi posted she was going. Here is the proof and if anyone needs more, call Nobu and they will confirm." He posted a screenshot of a text message exchange between Rimes and her assistant, in which the singer asks her five days beforehand to make a dinner reservation for four, including the kids, at the restaurant. Glanville filed for divorce from Cibrian in 2009 after it was revealed he was having an affair with Rimes. The actor and the singer wed in 2011 and have no children together. Earlier this week, Glanville appeared on E!'s Daily Pop, where she speculated Cibrian will divorce Rimes after 10 years of marriage, saying that in California, after that time frame, "you are entitled to half of everything that the other person has." Cibrian said that "for Brandi to openly predict and hope for the end of our marriage" is "sad" and "sick." "This is not healthy behavior," he said. "I'm very concerned." (Eonline)

Katy Perry Says She Forgives Taylor Swift and Wants 'the Best for Her' After Years-Long Feud. The 32-year-old singer opened up about her feud with Swift during a candid interview on The Thrive Global Podcast during Perry's weekend-long livestream on Saturday, declaring that she's ready to forgive the "Blank Space" singer. "I am ready to let it go," Perry told Thrive CEO Arianna Huffington. "I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her ... I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she's a fantastic songwriter." Perry added that she believes she and Swift could put their differences aside and be "representatives of strong women." "Maybe I don't agree with everything she does and she doesn't agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion," the singer said. Over the years, the tension between the two stars left fans with many questions. However, Perry told her side of the story during a recent appearance on Carpool Karaoke, revealing to Late Late Show host James Corden that the feud started over dancers. "There were three backing dancers," Perry recalled. "I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn't speak to me." There was speculation that Swift's 2014 track "Bad Blood" was about Perry, and the 27-year-old told Rolling Stone when the song came out that the hit was about another female artist who tried to "sabotage an entire arena tour." Swift has never publicly revealed who the alleged artist is. Swift has long kept mum about the rift, but this isn't the first time Perry has expressed her desire to end the squabble. Along with telling Corden that she's "ready for the BS to be done," Perry said on Sirius XM's Morning Mash Up in May that she would "absolutely" answer a phone call from Swift. "I am ready because I think when women unite, the world is going to heal," she said. (People)

Sandra Bullock just got another restraining order against the man who broke into her home and made his way to her bedroom door with her inside ... and now we know his intention was to sexually assault her. Sandra's lawyer, Ed McPherson, beelined it for court Friday and got a TRO against Joshua Corbett, who got 5 years' probation last month for the 2014 break-in. McPherson's move comes after the judge in the criminal case decided jail was not an appropriate punishment. He was ordered to in-patient treatment at a mental health facility. According to new legal docs, when Corbett was arrested, cops found a notebook with multiple pages of scribbled entries detailing his intention to sexually assault Bullock. The notebook also described sexual, lurid acts. Cops also found a number of illegal firearms at Corbett's house, including machine guns, assault rifles and explosive devices. In all, there were 24 firearms. Sandra's deeply concerned because, according to the legal docs, the LAPD has determined Corbett suffers from bipolar schizophrenia. (TMZ)

Kevin Dillon has settled his divorce case, and no one even knew he was getting divorced. Jane Stuart filed a divorce petition last July ... asking a judge to end her 10-year marriage to Kevin, but the docs got buried in the system. Turns out they had a big issue ... she claimed they separated May 29, 2016, but the "Entourage" star fired back the date of separation was October 2008. It's hugely significant, because once they separated all future "Entourage" money was his, and his alone. She also said Kevin kept her in the dark on finances from day 1 of the marriage, and she also claimed he under-reported his earnings to the court to keep his support payments low. She believed he made more than $16 million for "Entourage." As with most of these cases ... it settled before going to trial. Last month Kevin agreed to pay Jane $3,174 a month in child support for their 11-year-old daughter, and she gets $7,214 in monthly spousal support. (TMZ)

Judy Garland enshrined in Hollywood mausoleum. Judy Garland has been laid to rest in a mausoleum named for her at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. A spokeswoman for Garland's estate says her family and friends held a private memorial service for the actress on Saturday, which would have been Garland's 95th birthday. She was buried in the Judy Garland Pavilion. Garland's children, Liza Minnelli, Lorna Luft and Joe Luft, wanted to bring their mother's remains "home to Hollywood" from her original burial site at New York's Ferncliff Cemetery, publicist Victoria Varela said. They attended the service, along with Garland's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In a statement released to The Associated Press, they offered gratitude to their mother's "millions of fans around the world for their constant love and support." Garland's children announced earlier this year that they had relocated their mother's remains to Los Angeles. Garland's third husband, Mickey Deans, buried her in New York, but her children said she wished to be interred with her family in Hollywood, Varela said. The Judy Garland Pavilion is intended as a final resting spot for Minnelli, Luft and other family members, cemetery spokeswoman Noelle Berman said in January. Garland, star of classic films including "The Wizard of Oz" and "Meet Me in St. Louis," died in 1969 at age 47 in London. Jayne Mansfield, Douglas Fairbanks, Rudolph Valentino and Cecil B. DeMille are among the entertainment luminaries buried at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Rocker Chris Cornell was laid to rest there last month. (PageSix)

Katy Perry Credits Ex-Husband Russell Brand for Inspiring Her Passion for Meditation. Katy Perry has Russell Brand to thank for a wellness practice that changed her life. E! News' Zuri Hall sat down with the "Chained to the Rhythm" pop star to learn about how meditation has reshaped Perry's songwriting process, an activity first introduced to her by the English comedian she was married to between 2010-2012. "[Russell] is an avid meditator and I learned when I was in India getting married," Katy explained, referencing famed meditation teacher Bob Roth from the David Lynch Foundation. An admitted skeptic, Perry said that because of her conservative upbringing, she held many preconceived notions about meditation and its purpose. "My parents are both born again Christians and I love them," she shared. "I love how I was raised and I don't regret anything. I'm not dismissing it. I respect all religions, but I did think that meditation was more of a religion. Transcendental meditation is not a religion." The 32-year-old credited meditation as the "biggest help in my life" when it comes to disconnecting from the chaos. She added, "Life can get a little crazy, and I am always juggling a thousand balls at once." "I'm just like anyone else. I'm addicted to my phone. I have my phone next to my bed. I would say that especially when I'm single, but even in a partnership, I'll look at my phone before I look at my partner," Perry -- who last dated Orlando Bloom -- admitted. From a musical standpoint, Perry said that meditating aids creativity. "When I meditate, I get to the real well of creativity. It stirs up all of these creative juices and I get my best ideas," the chart-topper offered. It also lifts the celeb's mood when she's feeling down. "I have been crabby many times and I'll just say, 'Look, I'm in a really bad mood. I need 20 minutes to reset,'" Katy recalled. "I come back; my mood has changed 100 percent." Katy Perry: Witness World Wide is streaming on YouTube. Pick up Perry's album Witness out now before her tour kicks off Sept. 7. (Eonline)

Woody Allen Makes Rare Onstage Appearance to Pay Tribute to Diane Keaton. It's an Annie Hall reunion! Notoriously private director, actor and screenwriter Woody Allen made a rare public appearance Thursday to honor an actress who is very special to him: Diane Keaton. He appeared at the American Film Institute's 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton to present the award to the guest of honor, who has starred with him in eight films, and received a standing ovation as he walked onstage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. "We go back a long way, Diane and I," said Allen, 81, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "From the minute I met her, she was a great, great inspiration to me," he continued. "Much of what I have accomplished in my life I owe for sure to her." Keaton, 71, then appeared onstage and embraced Allen. "Oh, God, I just want to cry," she said. "Tonight has been an astonishing experience for me." Keaton then sang an a capella version of "Seems Like Old Times," the song she sang in Annie Hall, The Hollywood Reporter said. This marked the first time Keaton and Allen have been photographed together in more than 20 years. In the '90s, they were seen a few times out and about with his now-wife Soon Yi Previn. In 2014, Keaton helped honor Allen at the Golden Globes, which he did not attend. Wearing his signature look -- a suit and black-rimmed glasses. She accepted his Cecil B. DeMille award on his behalf. "We don't often associate people in show business with friendship and maybe that's because when we make these movies, we find ourselves in these intensely intimate situations with all these really remarkable people," she said onstage. "And, for me anyway, these encounters, while wonderful, rarely become 45-year friendships. It kinda breaks my heart that I've known Woody for such a long time, but it also fills me with pride and affection and even love. If Woody saw this he'd say, 'Get the hook and get her off the [bleep] stage. [Bleep...bleep...bleep...bleep].'" (Eonline)

Sofia Richie and Scott Disick Reunite in Malibu as She Reiterates They Are Just Friends. If Scott Disick ever got his own reality show, it could be called Rollin' With the Homies. Because he sure seems to like hanging out with Sofia Richie. The two were photographed together Friday at the sushi restaurant Nobu in Malibu, one of his favorite eateries. She also posted a video of the ocean view from the eatery on Snapchat. He and Sofia, an 18-year-old model, daughter of Lionel Richie and sister of Nicole Richie, were spotted together last month, looking flirty while partying on a yacht in southern France during his whirlwind 34th birthday trip to Cannes. Sofia later said on Twitter she and Scott are "just homies." Later on Friday, Sofia tweeted, "The last time I'm gonna say it. Scott and I are just friends. I'm single and focused on friends, family and work. #againrelax." Sofia was one of several women Scott was photographed with during his Cannes trip. Scott returned home last week and remained silent as a member of the paparazzi asked him about the women. Sofia got back to the U.S. Thursday. She was photographed at LAX holding an iPhone and FaceTiming Scott. Actress Bella Thorne and British model Ella Ross were among the women Scott was seen with in Cannes. He and Ross were also seen together in 2015, just before Kourtney broke up with him, and then reunited this past March, when they had lunch at Nobu. He and Kourtney have also dined there before with their kids, while she and other members of the Kardashian family celebrated his 33rd birthday with him there last year. (Eonline)

Amanda Bynes Recalls Telling Drake to "Murder" Her Vagina: "I Was Serious, but I Was Also on Drugs!" Amanda Bynes granted a rare interview request Friday. Speaking out publicly for the first time in four years, the former Nickelodeon star told Hollyscoop founder/The Lowdown host Diana Madison, "I'm doing great, thank you. Really great." Bynes, whose erratic behavior and tweets eclipsed the career she'd built since childhood, also gave an update on her life. "I've been going to school lately, fashion school -- FIDM. And I love it. I've learned how to sew, I've made patterns, and I want to start a clothing line in the future, so FIDM has been helping me with that. Other than that I hike, I go spinning -- I take spinning classes -- and I feed the homeless," Bynes, 31, said. "And that's been really interesting and fun." The All That star had another announcement to make -- one Madison predicted would make her fans go wild. "I do miss acting, and I have something surprising to tell you: I'm going to start acting again," Bynes said. "I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it, in the future. That's what I hope." (Bynes announced her retirement from acting via Twitter in 2010.) Madison then wanted to "diffuse some of the past." Bynes was ready and willing, saying she was "so ready" for the questions. "Let's go there," the Easy A star replied. "Don't make me cry!" The first question was related to a famous tweet Bynes sent in 2013: "I want @drake to murder my vagina." Did she actually mean that -- and, uh, what did she mean, exactly? "I actually wasn't being insincere. I was like saying, 'Murder my vagina.' I was serious, but I was also on drugs, so that was my way of saying, 'Let's do it, man.' But I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious," Bynes confessed. "He's hot! What does that even mean? It just means, like, 'F--k me, Drake!'" Madison also asked if it's true that Blac Chyna stole Bynes' look. "I stole her look!" the actress said. "I was getting the microdermals in my cheeks because she had them. I thought they looked super-hot on her. I never said that she stole my look. I'm a fan of hers. She's adorable." During the interview, Bynes also revealed that she is three years sober. Tamar Arminak, Bynes' attorney, said she has complied with all conditions of her probation from the series of driving violations which included a DUI, two alleged hit-and-run incidents, tickets and driver's license suspension. Speaking to Good Morning America, Arminak said she is thankful no one was hurt. (Eonline)

Gloria Allred, much like the postman, rings twice ... and it cost her a seat inside Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial. Allred's phone rang in the middle of the trial Friday, just as it did Wednesday. She bolted from the court when it happened, but the damage was done. The judge has now banished her to an overflow room set up for public viewing of the proceedings. Court officials tell TMZ ... if her phone rings in that room, she'll be permanently ejected from the courthouse altogether. Gloria, who's repping some Cosby accusers (not Andrea Constand), caught a first-time offender break earlier in the week, but she's playing with fire now. Vibrate, Gloria. Vibrate. (TMZ)

James Comey can make a fortune yakking in front of crowds, but he could make more if he didn't piss off conservatives. We've spoken with a number of people who run celebrity speaker companies, and they all say Comey could pull between $75,000 and $100,000 a speech ... at least in the short term. To put this in context, the people who run these services say $75k - $100k is top of the heap in terms of money, with the exception of an exclusive club -- the POTUS club. We're told Barack Obama broke all records recently with a $400,000 gig. We're told Bill Clinton pulls between $200k - $250k a speech. We're told conservative groups typically pay more than liberal orgs, and Comey is now at loggerheads with folks on the right, so those groups won't pay a premium and the folks we spoke with say that also makes Comey's shelf life as a speaker shorter. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley Team Up to Host CMA Awards for the 10th Year in a Row. Yee-haw! Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are teaming up yet again to host the 51st Annual Country Music Association Awards for the 10th straight year. The event will be hosted at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on ABC on Nov. 8. Country star Vince Gill has hosted the show the most amount of times, a whopping 12 times, fronting the show from 1992-2003. Along with the announcement, the Country Music Association posted a photo of the twosome with the caption, "So excited they're back! @BradPaisley & @CarrieUnderwood are returning to host their 10th consecutive #CMAawards on Nov 8!" Paisley, who has claimed 14 CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year Award, sat down with Billboard to reflect about the big announcement. "Well, it's extremely flattering, and for me, I take it seriously, and doing a good job means a lot to me personally. Every year we have figured something else out that would make it better for the next year, so I think we've been able to improve on our performance each year," said Paisley. "But simply, just the fact that the CMA asked us again, I am very flattered and honored." As for how things began all those years ago with Underwood, the 44-year-old said, "You know, when [the CMA] first asked, it was pretty late. I think it was in August, as I remember, so my first thought was that someone must have turned them down. But seriously, I believe that show producer Robert Deaton had the original vision that we'd be good together." The "Remind Me" singer said that their relationship has evolved over the years and has only added to their strength as hosts: "I think that over the years, Carrie and I have not only grown into our roles, but that we have also slipped into our individual characters. The time has helped us to complement each other and build a chemistry together." (Eonline)

U2 make their first US festival appearance. U2 turned their first headlining appearance at a U.S. music festival into Bono-roo. The Irish rockers performed a two-hour set on Friday night at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, as part of their world tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their Grammy-winning "The Joshua Tree" album. They played the full album, as well as some of their other hits, including "New Year's Day" and "Beautiful Day," to tens of thousands of music fans. Toward the end of the performance, lead singer Bono asked if they had made a mistake in not coming to the festival sooner, and later added, "Thanks for naming it after me." The band kicked off their tour last month in Canada, which hits the United Kingdom, Europe and Central America through October 19. The band has previously played the Glastonbury Festival, but their appearance on the Bonnaroo lineup this year was a huge get for the 16-year-old music festival. Prior to their set, U2 guitarist The Edge received the Les Paul Spirit Award in a presentation from the Les Paul Foundation on the festival grounds. The Edge, whose name is David Evans, called Paul an inventor and innovator who pioneered advances in electric guitars and recording. "I owe him a great debt of gratitude not only for the contributions he made to music, but in terms of his contributions to the technology," Evans said. Hours before the band took to the stage, fans lined up to get a place close to the stage. Many held signs detailing the first time they had seen U2 play. The political nature of the album, which was inspired by the band's fascination with America, was reflected on the giant screens behind the band. The screens showed images of female activists, scenes of the American desert and poems from American writers. Often Bono would stop singing to let the chorus of voices from fans complete the song. As he ended the performance with their hit, "One," he called it "a night we will never forget." (PageSix)

Jason Derulo wasn't scared away from doing the "Monday Night Football" theme by the controversy surrounding Hank Williams Jr. ... because working on the song's too big to pass up. Some people were shocked ESPN brought Hank back for 'MNF' after he was fired in 2011 for comparing Obama to Hitler. But Derulo isn't fazed by Hank's past comments ... he says he's just excited to be part of the legendary football song's revival. Long story short -- Derulo is down to work with Hank, but when it comes to how he feels about him personally ... he's not going there. It's just business ... and all about that Monday night party. Selena Gomez denies 'Bad Liar' is about The Weeknd. Maybe Selena Gomez really is a "Bad Liar." During an interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday, Gomez, 24, skirted questions about her new hit song. "The song was over a year ago," she told Seacrest. "I was very much in a different place and I think it was more just telling a story." However when it was released in May, the popstar's co-writer disclosed the story behind it. "It's actually about trying to hide magic feelings for someone new, but not being able to," tweeted Justin Tranter in response to Selenators assuming the song was about her on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber. Between the song being created over a year ago and its subject matter, all signs point to the tune being about her boyfriend The Weeknd. "I was walking down the street the other day / Trying to distract myself / Then I see your face / Ooo, you got someone else / Tryna play it coy / Tryna make it disappear / But just like the battle of Troy / There's nothing subtle here," she sings. The Weeknd and Bella Hadid broke up in November of 2016. Months later he was spotted kissing Gomez and have since been a couple. Adding to the speculation about Gomez's "hidden feelings," when Seacrest asked Gomez what made her decide to go public with her relationship, she claimed she just being herself, and was done "hiding things." "I'm just genuinely myself," she said on the radio show. "It's really hard when I would want to spend so much time hiding things," she added before claiming people would get over it. "I think that everybody gets over everything eventually," she said. "That's what I've learned ... in the years of doing this, people get over it." "So it's a good thing to be a 'Bad Liar,'" Seacrest later suggested. "I think so," Gomez responded. (Eonline)

Taylor Swift's Return to Streaming Services Coincides With Katy Perry's Album Release. Taylor Swift is toasting to a major career milestone with a perfectly timed celebration. The "Style" pop songstress will re-release her music on all streaming services in just a few short hours, per a message shared by her official fan account. "In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 million albums worldwide and the RIAA's 100 million song certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalog available to all streaming services tonight at midnight," the social media announcement read. T. Swift's five studio albums have not been available on streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music and Pandora since 2014. Two years ago, the multi-Grammy winner rocked the music industry when she penned an open letter to Apple Music slamming their decision to not compensate artists during the service's free trial. Hours after her statement went viral, Apple announced that the company would issue royalties to artists throughout the 90-day period, and the 27-year-old went on to star in a number of Apple Music campaigns. Swift's latest foray back into the spotlight comes at an opportune time. Katy Perry, who is publicly beefing with her fellow pop star, just so happens to be dropping her new body of work, Witness, at midnight. While out promoting her fifth studio album, Katy hasn't shied away from airing the long-standing feud's dirty laundry. The "Chained to the Rhythm" songstress most recently claimed that Swift defamed her in an interview with NME. Katy shared, "I mean, I'm not Buddha -- things irritate me. I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I'm also not a pushover, you know?" "Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls," she added. "That's so messed up!" For now, all eyes will be on the charts as Katy and Taylor fans press play on their pop star of choice. Is Taylor's move purely coincidental or a calculated clap back? Little Mix's Power video ft. Stormzy is here & it's a girl power delight. The feisty, girl-power anthem comes with a colorful video which flits between eras - from the 60s & 70s to 80s... Little Mix's new video for Power feat Stormzy is here - and it's seriously sassy. The song, from their album Glory Days, is a feisty, girl-power anthem and it's the track fans have been demanding a video for. Well they can rejoice, because it's finally here. The video flits between eras, from 60s hippy power to late 70s punk and the bouffant hair and bold shoulders of the 80s. As always, the hair and make-up is ON POINT. As for the song, it's seriously catchy and features some rapping from Jesy Nelson. Are we witnessing Jesy's very own Mis Teeq Alesha moment?! The fashion doesn't disappoint either. Perrie is rocking a chainmail top, Leigh-Anne is in a casual pair of £3190 VETEMENTS + Manolo Blahnik fuschia satin boots, Jade looks like a disco QUEEN and Jesy looks a little 50 Shades with belts and buckles aplenty because why the hell not? 2 Chainz is pointing the finger at the fire marshal for shutting down his new album listening party, and the event promoters are blaming cops ... but NYC officials are calling BS. NYC Dept. of Buildings officials tell TMZ ... their reps were at the ASA Gallery in Soho Wednesday night, not fire marshals. They say the 2 Chainz event -- for his "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" album -- was way over capacity, but promoters were told they could continue if they got occupancy down to 74. Instead of complying, the promoters decided to cancel ... at least that's NYC's take. Chainz maintained on social media it was the fire marshal. Sources connected to event organizers say they were told 200 people was the max -- and planned accordingly -- but cops were already there before the party began and turned away fans. We're told promoters tried to negotiate with cops, but THEY killed the party. FDNY tells us they had nothing to do with it. 2 Chainz says he's looking for a bigger venue for take 2 on the party. We reached out to NYPD ... no word back so far. (TMZ)

G-Dragon Gets Personal With Eponymous 'Kwon Ji Yong' EP. K-pop's most out-of-the-box icon gets up close and personal with Kwon Ji Yong, G-Dragon's first solo album in four years. The BIGBANG member, whose given name forms the EP's title, dropped the album on Thursday (June 8), offering up part of his soul through the five tracks. Beginning with lead single "Untitled 2014," Kwon Ji Yong is G-Dragon at his most vulnerable as he reflects on his career, successes, and regrets through a variety of sonic styles. Renowned for his avant-garde approach to music, art, and fashion, G-Dragon tones things down for the lead track. For a single from one of K-pop's most colorful artists, "Untitled 2014" comes as a bit of a shock. The evocative, simple piano ballad has the K-pop icon singing -- not rapping, as he tends to do on singles -- mournfully about a long-ended romance (presumably from 2014). "If I can see you one more time, I can give up everything," he croons, not as the stage persona G-Dragon but as Kwon Ji Yong, the more private, intimate side of the 28-year-old Korean superstar who has been in the limelight since childhood. The single is paired with an emotive music video that shows little more than G-Dragon singing pensively amidst ambient lighting. Shot in one take, its sparsity matches the song's melody while its captivating colors reflect the complexity of lyrics. It's unembellished and earnest, fitting for a single that presents the simplest, most honest version of himself that the K-pop star has ever put forward. But, since it's G-Dragon and he showcased his softer side on "Untitled 2014," the rest of Kwon Ji Yong is a bit more experimental. Nestled between a playful intro ("Middle Fingers Up") and a haunting alt-R&B outro ("Divina Commedia") are the EP's two other tracks, "Bullshit" and "Super Star," followed by "Untitled 2014" as the fourth song on the album. Originally announced as the lead single, "Bullshit" is a profanity-filled hip-hop song with a pulsating chorus flanked by sudden beat and rhythm changes. It's a multi-layered track that references G-Dragon's past, directly referencing "Crayon" by title, while the barking recalls his Diplo-Baauer collab, "Coup d'Etat." "Super Star" is a laid back, groovy song that sounds like the beach-perfect slow jam fused with trap, filled with brassy drums, Middle Eastern horns, lilting synths, and a backing chorus. But, as reflective as the rest of the album, the lyrics depict G-Dragon's inner feelings, and they're filled with gloom and loneliness, despite the musician achieving all the wealth -- BIGBANG made more than Maroon 5 in 2016 -- and success he previously dreamed of. "I need somebody," he raps over the bouncy melody, "I ain't got nobody." An extremely personal work, Kwon Ji Yong puts G-Dragon's inner thoughts out in the public through a variety of sounds but remains cohesive through its lyrics, as if requesting listeners to forget the singer's celeb stature and momentarily hear the thoughts of a man struggling with the present he's achieved through his past efforts. Like the content, Kwon Ji Yong is radical in its physical form; G-Dragon's latest was released with a USB rather than taking the typical, CD route. Though it's been out for less than 24 hours, Kwon Ji Yong is already making waves. Upon its release, it went to No. 1 on the iTunes Album Chart in the U.S., beating out Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Deluxe) for the top spot. According to Korean media, the EP topped iTunes Albums charts in 39 countries upon its release, poising Kwon Ji Yong for success on the Billboard 200, where his last album, 2013's Coup d'Etat debuted at No. 182. The album comes ahead of G-Dragon's upcoming world tour, which begins in Seoul on June 10 and will come to the States in July. It's also a time filled with consternation in the Korean music industry for G-Dragon's fellow BIGBANG member T.O.P, after he was indicted on charges of smoking marijuana and, following the indictment, was hospitalized for an apparent overdose on sleeping meds. David Guetta and Justin Bieber Join Forces on '2U. Justin Bieber has had a lot of fun (and success) as a guest artist in recent times. His contribution to DJ Khaled's collab-stacked "I'm the One" netted a No. 1, as did his feature-fueled remix of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito." Now the Canadian pop singer has teamed with French EDM king David Guetta. "Justin has such a unique voice and I have so much respect for his talent but also for his choices," says Guetta in a statement. "He took some risks reinventing himself lately in such a cool amazing creative way. I'm very proud to finally share a record with him. I feel like '2U' is an incredible combination of emotion energy with a huge melody combined with edgy sounds." (Billboard)

Meryl Streep is a masterful actress and costume chameleon -- after all, she's dressed up as Donald Trump (and nailed it). So it was no surprise when Streep, 67, stylishly took a page from Diane Keaton's fashion book to honor her at the American Film Institute (AFI)'s event in Los Angeles on Thursday, where Keaton, 71, became the 45th recipient of the Life Achievement Award. Streep copied her longtime pal's signature style, borrowing from the boys in a tie, hat, blazer and high-waisted pant that Keaton's title role in Woody Allen's Annie Hall required of her in 1977. Surely she was returning the favor to Keaton, who made a speech at Streep's AFI ceremony in 2009. Also in attendance were Woody Allen, Reese Witherspoon (in Miu Miu), Al Pacino, Emma Stone (in Loewe), Morgan Freeman, Sarah Silverman and Rachel McAdams (in Johanna Ortiz). Steve Martin and Martin Short opened the show with a musical tribute to Keaton. The Oscar winner and four-time nominee is now the ninth actress to receive the career-recognizing honor, following Bette Davis, Lillian Gish, Barbara Stanwyck, Elizabeth Taylor, Barbra Streisand, Streep, Shirley MacLaine and Jane Fonda. The AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to Diane Keaton will air on June 15 at 10 PM ET/PT on TNT. (People)

Cannes: South Korean WWII Film 'The Battleship Island' Sells Worldwide. The CJ Entertainment title pre-sold to 113 territories including North America, and at record prices to Asian countries. South Korean historical action film The Battleship Island pre-sold to 113 territories worldwide, CJ Entertainment announced. This marks a series of successful deals for the South Korean giant, which recently announced multiple sales deals for its crime actioner The Merciless, which received a midnight screening at last month's Cannes Film Festival. A three-minute promo clip for the World War II flick was initially unveiled at the European Film Market in February and attracted additional buyers at the Cannes Film Market, according to CJ in a statement. The Ryu Seung-wan (Veteran) film that is set to open in July in South Korea has been picked up for North America, France, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines, among other territories. In particular, the film has sold to key Asian countries at "a record price among South Korean films" according to Yoonhee Choi, head of international sales and distribution at CJ. Choi said she could not disclose the exact amount. Starring A-lister Hwang Jung-min (Fox's 2016 Cannes title The Wailing) and Asian superstars Song Joong-gi (smash-hit TV series Descendants of the Sun) and So Ji-sub (Kim Ki-duk Films' Rough Cut, Sophie's Revenge opposite Zhang Ziyi), The Battleship Island is based on a true story toward the end of World War II, when hundreds of Koreans attempted to escape forced labor on the Japanese island of Hashima. "We have high expectations about the strength of The Battleship Island's tight plotline and director Ryu Seung-wan's mise-en-scene. Also, we were captivated by the fact that the cast includes Song Joong-gi, who has achieved Asian superstar status through last year's TV series Descendants of the Sun, as well as Hwang Jung-min, So Ji-sub and other top-class Korean actors," said Lim Teck of Singapore's Clover Films. "The Battleship Island is a war film, prison film as well as an escape film. It has the genre appeal that is sure to captivate French moviegoers, and moreover, the film stars strong, engaging characters that move the film along." (Hollywood Reporter)

And her co-stars are quick to gush about her work in the role, calling her "genius" as the Menendez matriarch. "She is the only reason I did this movie," Younger star Nico Tortorella, who plays her oldest son, Lyle, in the TV movie, revealed to E! News on the set of Menendez: Blood Brothers. "No lie!" And her other on-screen son was just as excited to work with Love as well. "It actually has been wonderful to work with Courtney," Myko Olivier, who takes on the role of Erik, the younger brother, said. "Courtney has taken me under her wing as like a real on-set mom." Tortorella gushed about Love's presence on the movie's set, saying, "Having any sort of conversation with her about anything...there's just so much information and life experience, there's just so much to learn from her. I've been a fan of her for a long time and she's everything I hoped she'd be and so much more." Viewers will see the gruesome murders of Kitty and her husband, Jose Menendez, early on in the film, but Love will continue to appear in a unique way. "She appears in this as a ghost for a lot of it, like she haunts me for the guilt I carry around for having killed her...it's a really cool dynamic that we have," Olivier previewed. "[Courtney]'s given me a lot of attention in terms of rehearsal time and face time so that we have a good relationship in life so that it hopefully shows on screen." Menendez: Blood Brothers premiered Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Lifetime. (Eonline)

News caught up with the cast of NBC's breakout hit at an FYC event in Hollywood on Wednesday night, they were more than happy to reveal the questions they're hoping are answered in season two, other than how the beloved Pearson family patriarch died. "I want to know how Beth and Randall met," Mandy Moore told Kristin Dos Santos of Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson's characters. "I'm assuming college or something, that's sort of what I've conjured up in my mind." Also wanting to know the origin of the couple's love story? Randall, himself, as Brown said, "I think that's a really interesting story. I have ideas and I've made suggestions, but I don't know 100 percent." As for Milo Ventimiglia, he said he wants more background on his on-screen daughter's beau, Toby (Chris Sullivan), like any good father would. "I think Toby's a man of mystery. I think his love for Kate is...as a father, I love that, but I want to know more about Toby as an individual man before Kate," he said, before continuing, "I want to know about Kate singing. I want to know about what happens to Kevin deciding, 'The heck with it, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna do this Ron Howard film and leave the woman I left the first time. And then Randall and Beth wanting to adopt a baby and what does that mean? And then poor Rebecca, and that moment where maybe Jack dies, where are they? So many questions!" But Chrissy Metz also admitted she wants to learn more about her fiancee. "I want to know more about, of course, Toby, and [Beth]'s backstory." Metz said. "We found out that her mom fell, like what is their backstory? And what about Miguel's kids?! Holy moly, there are so many layers, there's so much!" This Is Us will air Tuesdays this fall on NBC. Bill Maher gave an earnest apology for his joke last week -- that he was a "house n*****" -- but at one point he may have chosen the wrong word to explain himself. Bill was back live on "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday night where he had a hard talk with Michael Eric Dyson about the use of the word. Dyson said Bill's not a racist ... it's just another example of "white privilege." Maher repeatedly expressed regret, saying it was an off-the-cuff comment. That's when Bill explained his craft and what may have been behind him using the n-word ... "Comedians are a special kind of monkey." You gotta see the reactions. Bill also tried to reassure Kathy Griffin ... Self-projections of demise were greatly exaggerated. (TMZ)
