Restrictions scheduled on State Route 77 south of Globe on Monday, June 26

Pavement repair requires single-lane closure

Although the Arizona Department of Transportation recently completed a safety project to remove overhanging rock from a mountainside along State Route 77, crews are scheduled to revisit the area next week to make one final pavement repair. Drivers should plan for delays in the Dripping Springs area south of Globe.

SR 77 will be narrowed to one lane only from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, between Dripping Springs and Ranch Creek roads (milepost 154 to milepost 161). Drivers should plan for reduced speed limits and delays up to 15 minutes. Flaggers and a pilot vehicle will guide alternating traffic through the active work zone.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov. For real-time highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
