Round The Mountain Trail on Mount Graham to close because of flash flooding concerns

The Arizona Department of Transportation has closed SR 366 on Mount Graham until further notice. The closure is necessary because of safety concerns associated with flash flooding and debris flows caused by the recent Frye Fire.

The Round the Mountain Trail at milepost 121 will be closed at 8 a.m., Monday, August 7. The public will still have access to the Noon Creek Picnic Area as well as the Angle Orchard.

The closure is in place to prevent the public from encountering flash floods in the area.

ADOT will announce when SR 366 and the Round The Mountain Trail reopen.
