THIS MONTH IS

It's Ice Cream Month and it turns out that ice cream addiction may be real. Well, duh. Frequently eating high fat, high sugar foods can cause brain changes similar to those commonly seen in drug addicts, reports The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Routine ice cream eaters had less activity in their noggin's reward center while sipping a milk shake than did those who indulged less often. This means you may need more of a treat in order to achieve the satisfaction you have come to expect, so max out at two or three servings of dessert a week. (Women's Health)
