Mindy Kaling Is Expecting a Baby Girl, Her Co-Stars Reveal. It'll be a girl for mom-to-be Mindy Kaling. E! News learned in July that the 38-year-old Mindy Project and A Wrinkle in Time movie star is pregnant with her first child and that it was "an unexpected surprise." Kaling broke her silence about her pregnancy in August, saying on NBC's Today show that she is "really excited" to become a mom. Her Mindy Project co-stars spilled the beans about the sex of the actress' child, speaking to Us Weekly at a Paley Center for Media fall TV preview event for the sitcom on Friday. Sources also confirmed to People that she is expecting a girl. "I'm just thrilled out of my mind! I cried like a baby and that it's a girl," said Beth Grant, who plays Beverly Janoszewski. "I just think that she's up to it...I just think that she's ready and I'm very happy for her because I have a daughter that's turning 25 and it's just the greatest thing in the world!" "We were so thrilled for her," said Ed Weeks, who plays Dr. Jeremy Reed. "The show started as a tribute to her mother, who very sadly passed away just as the show is being picked up, and it ends with her having a daughter of her own." "It's a lot. When she reminded us all of that, we all cried in the final table read," he said. "I mean Jesus, life! It makes some very interesting and beautiful patterns sometimes." Kaling's mother, Dr. Swati Chokalingam, an OBG/YN, died from pancreatic cancer in 2012, that day the actress was told Fox had picked up The Mindy Project. Kaling plays an OBG/YN on the show. In July, Kaling showcased her baby bump in a navy midi-dress at her first red carpet event since her pregnancy news broke -- at a Television Critics Association's summer press tour event. At the Mindy Project event Friday, she walked the carpet in a gray and black dress suit, paired with black heels and drop earrings. (Eonline)

The Westworld actress and her Rebel and a Basketcase band mate called off their engagement about a month ago, People reported Thursday, citing a source. Wood and Villa have not commented. Kelly Clarkson's Daughter River Rose Sings on Today and Brings All the Feels. Looks like Kelly Clarkson has a little singer on her hands! The mommy-of-two joined Hoda Kotb on the Today Show Friday morning, bringing her daughter, River Rose, 3, and son, Remington Alexander, 1, along with her. Both children were all smiles while soaking up the spotlight on Clarkson and Kotb's laps, but it looks like the "Because of You" singer might have a future pop star on her hands with River! Clarkson explained how her baby girl loves to sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" before going to bed, so the mama decided to give the viewers a taste of that. Once Clarkson began singing (perfectly, of course), little River couldn't help but smile from ear-to-ear and join along with her. Even Kotb -- who has her own little one, Haley Joy, at home -- couldn't handle the cuteness. "Oh my God, I'm dying," Kotb exclaimed. "I'm dying...I'm exploding!" Of course, it's no surprise if Clarkson raises a future singer because she's continued to maintain her successful music career for 15 years. In fact, she just released two new songs, "Love So Soft" and "Move You," which she admitted both of her children have listened to over and over again. It's no wonder River wants to be just like mommy! (Eonline)

Lady Gaga Tears Up While Addressing Chronic Pain: ''I Don't Have to Hide It." Lady Gaga refuses to let life's darkest moments break her down. In her upcoming Netflix documentary Five Foot Two, the pop music superstar pulls back the curtain on her personal struggles -- including a years-long battle against chronic pain. Gaga addressed the film's most vulnerable scenes during a press conference at TIFF, in which she visibly got emotional while speaking to reporters. "It's hard, but it's liberating, too," the Joanne artist said after taking a moment to collect her thoughts when asked what it was like to document the less-than glamorous experiences. Five Foor Two's director Chris Moukarbel then remarked, "It was incredibly hard... Beyond just filming, I felt compelled to continue to roll. I know that she wanted me to because it's something that should be included in the film." In a teaser for the documentary, Gaga seeks medical help for the pain, and there are shots of the celebrity receiving injections on a surgical table. The "Million Reasons" songstress explained at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Five Foot Two will premiered, "There is an element and a very strong piece of me that believes pain is a microphone. My pain does me no good unless I transform it into something that is [good]." "I hope that people watching it that do struggle with chronic pain know that they are not alone," she continued. Lady Gaga then addressed those skeptical of the degree to which she suffers. "It's freeing for me because there's a degree of self-deprecation and shame that goes along with feeling in pain a lot," she said. "I want people that watch it that think there's no way I live that way because they see me dance and sing, to know I struggle with things like them and that I work through it and that it can be done." "We have to stick together," Gaga continued, "and I don't have to hide it because it's weak. It's a part of me and I'm grateful to Chris for caring. The compassion is overwhelming and that's why it makes me emotional. It's very touching." More than a year ago, the 31-year-old first revealed her struggle with chronic pain was linked in part to a sexual assault. "I feel physical pain," she said during a radio interview. "I actually suffer from chronic pain and it's from this paralyzing fear that I've experienced for almost 10 years." "When something traumatic happens, your brain disconnects so that it can handle it," she elaborated. "But, it stays in your body, in your tissues, physically in you." A 2013 hip injury also required Gaga to undergo surgery and cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour. Five Foot Two hits Netflix Sept. 22. (Eonline)

In her latest interview, Carter explained that she only recently told JAY-Z because "it was something that was never discussed." "I was never ashamed of me. I'm tired of all the mystery. I'm gonna give it to 'em," she said. "I don't have to worry about anybody wondering if I'm in the life or not. So now maybe you can focus on the phenomenal things I do, so focus on that. Now it's time for me to be free." As "Smiles" closes in on its fifth minute of runtime, Carter takes over for the moving outro with a running verse. "Living in the shadow/ Can you imagine what kind of life it is to live?/ In the shadows, people see you as happy and free/ Because that's what you want them to see/ Living two lives, happy, but not free/ You live in the shadows for fear of someone hurting your family or the person you love/ The world is changing and they say it's time to be free/ But you live with the fear of just being me/ Living in the shadow feels like the safe place to be/ No harm for them, no harm for me/ But life is short, and it's time to be free/ Love who you love, because life isn't guaranteed/ Smile." Whether they were playing Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor on screen or just themselves behind the scenes, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have always had each other's backs. Nearly 30 years since they made their debuts on Beverly Hills, 90210, the two actresses may have said goodbye to their teen characters, but they haven't left each other. "As my best friend my whole life, she completes me," Spelling told E! News at the Launch of Netflix's Project Mc2. "She makes me a better person and I think together we complement each other really well." Alongside her 9-year-old daughter, Stella McDermott, Spelling reflected on how far they've come since their initial TV days. One of the biggest signs of their growth is the fact they're both mothers to a combined eight children. "We far surpass the Brady Brunch between the two of us," she quipped. Still, while times have somewhat changed for these longtime BFFs, Tori can't help but sing Jennie's praises -- particularly for how she helped Spelling through tricky matters of the heart. "She was always confident," the mother of five said of her gal pal. "She used to speak up for me and beat up all my bad boyfriends when I was a teenager." Now, Jennie is a mom to her own teenager, Lola Facinelli, who was alongside her for the big event. In fact, the 14-year-old loves seeing her mom and Tori on the small screen from back in the day. "I love watching [reruns] because it's so weird to see her as like my age almost. It's just so cute and weird and I just picture her now," Lola told E! News. Gina Rodriguez Won't Be Sacrificing Her Happiness to "Kill" Herself in the Gym: "I Love My Shape." Gina Rodriguez is feeling strong and fearless. The stunning Jane the Virgin actress is October's Shape cover girl and inside the magazine she's opening about her life, health and how she won't give up her joy to hit the gym. Working long hours on her TV show, Rodriguez doesn't get a lot of free time to train, but she's learned to be OK with that. "... when I started working on Jane again, there was no time for training, even at night... I couldn't fit into certain clothes, and I was a little curvier," Rodriguez tells the magazine. "Before, I would have beaten myself up. But my boyfriend gave me some great advice. He said, 'Don't be angry with your body -- it changed because your routine shifted.' And that was like a gift." Rodriguez continues, "As an actress, there are so many pressures to look a certain way and fit into a sample size. But I've got to embrace the fact that when I'm shooting Jane, I can't work out as much. My body is going to look different, and that's OK. I'm not willing to wring the joy from my life to kill myself in the gym." When the Golden Globe winner does get some time to work out, Rodriguez loves Muay Thai. "Doing Muay Thai taught me so much about my body," she shares. "Now I view it as an engine that keeps me active and healthy. To do Muay Thai, you have to build up your strength and stamina. It's mind over matter; you're pushing yourself. What I like best about it is the sense of inner strength it gives me. Knowing I can protect myself is a powerful feeling." And when it comes to food, Rodriguez uses it to fuel her. "Food fuels me now, and that feels so good," she explains. "It doesn't make me lethargic anymore. Now I'm eating when I'm hungry and to power my body, I'm not feeding my emotions. Which I did. And which I'll do again in the future, let's be real. But I'm trying to be conscious of not doing it right now." Rodriguez wants us to celebrate every body type on the spectrum, because we're all beautiful. "I love my shape because it makes me strong and fearless," Rodriguez says. "There's a huge spectrum of body types, and we need to celebrate all of them -- the model shapes, the beautiful new wave of curvy full-figured women, and those who are in between. I feel blessed to be part of that spectrum." Rodriguez took to Instagram to share her upcoming cover, telling her followers how she really feels about being on the magazine. The actress wrote, "It feels incredibly bizarre and unnatural to celebrate during these times. My mind is constantly working to try and see where I can help, contribute and grow. So then maybe it is right to share this cover of @shape magazine because it marks a time in my life where I pushed myself to the max. Where I learned that being healthy was self-love. That putting myself, vulnerabilities and all, out there for the world to judge isn't as scary today." Rodriguez continued, "We must make those risks in order for change and growth to occur. I love this cover. Not because I feel good and myself and real in it but because it pushed me to a place that wasn't easy and I conquered." (Eonline)

The 37-year-old talked about his eating disorder and alcohol addiction in an episode of Viceland's Epicly Later'd. His parents, April and Phil Margera, say that it started as he started partying with rock stars like HIM's Ville Valo. "He always wanted to have this very slim, slim look," April says. "A lot of it happened when he became good friends with Ville Valo." With Valo, Bam started drinking heavily. "I remember when me and Ville Valo were out in London and he woke up at noon, opened up the mini bar and cracked open a beer. That was the first time I was introduced to day drinking," Bam says. "I didn't start officially drinking until maybe 24 or 25. Then the rock star life and drinking spun out of control." "Ville drank a lot... He's the loveliest man ever, but he never ate. He just drank. I think Bam started sipping on a beer because he liked the way he looked," April adds. From there, Bam began throwing up his meals. Kim Richards Is Making Progress With Her Court Mandated Community Service. Kim Richards is taking more steps forward on her road to recovery. Back in March, E! News exclusively learned that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star could face jail time if she failed to complete 450 hours of community service by today's date. Richards' attorney was told by Commissioner Jane Godfrey that if Richards' hours weren't completed at Midnight Mission by Sept. 7, 2017 she could face jail time. But Godfrey also said that Richards could avoid a sentence based on good cause, which means she wouldn't have all 450 hours completed but she'd be almost done or prove that she's making an effort to complete her community service hours. E! News exclusively learned that Richards' attorney appeared in court for her client's progress report stemming from Richards' 2015 Beverly Hills Hotel arrest. Richards' attorney confirmed that her client has completed 180 hours of the court ordered total of 450 hours of community service. Proof of service, a written letter from the place in which Richards has been doing community service stating the progress so far, was also given to the court justice. A new date for another progress report was set for Dec. 19. At this hearing Richards must have proof that the remaining 270 hours of community service have been completed. She'll need to bring another letter as proof of service that the hours are complete. This news comes just days after Richards opened up to E! News about her recovery and staying sober. Richards has gotten involved with Skydog Ranch, a non-profit organization that provides a rescue home to at-risk mustang horses in America, providing sanctuary for horses that have wound up in kill pens, at auction, or being neglected, starved, or abused. Skydog gives volunteer opportunities to people who are in the process of recovery. Richards told E! News exclusively, "My recovery has been amazing and I love how I feel. This has been a huge part of it and has helped me a lot. The Sanctuary keeps me grounded and keeps me at peace and it's healthy for me. It's been amazing for me and me coming here has really been a major part of keeping me sober." (Eonline)

Troy Gentry -- one half of the country music group Montgomery Gentry -- was killed in a helicopter crash in New Jersey on Friday. He was 50 years old. The helicopter crashed in a field in Medford around 1 PM ET. Unclear if Eddie Montgomery was onboard. We're working on it. Troy Gentry is survived by his wife and 2 kids. Troy Gentry From Montgomery Gentry Killed in Helicopter Crash. Montgomery Gentry singer Troy Gentry was killed Friday in a helicopter crash near a New Jersey airport where before the country music duo was supposed to perform later in the day. He was 50. The news was confirmed on the group's social media pages. "It is with great sadness that we confirm that Troy Gentry, half of the popular country duo, Montgomery Gentry, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash, which took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. today in Medford, New Jersey," read the message. "The duo was scheduled to perform tonight at the Flying W Airport & Resort in Medford. Troy Gentry was 50 years old. Details of the crash are unknown. Troy Gentry's family wishes to acknowledge all of the kind thoughts and prayers, and asks for privacy at this time." It is unclear if his band mate Eddie Montgomery or any of their crew were involved in the crash, which also killed another unidentified man. Only two people were involved in the incident, a supervisor at the Burlington County communications center in Westampton told the Courier-Post. The Schweitzer 269 helicopter crashed around 1:30 p.m. in a wooded area off the end of one of the runways at the Flying W Airport, which also houses a resort, an FAA spokesperson told E! News, adding that the group plans to investigate the incident, whose cause remains unclear. The National Transportation Safety Board is also set to investigate. The Medford Township police chief told NJ.com police got a call about a helicopter that had taken off from the airport and then tried to land after it became "distressed." "Shortly after our arrival the helicopter did go down. It went into a field south of the airport," he said. (Eonline)

The helicopter crash that killed country singer Troy Gentry is now under NTSB investigation, and we're told a central question will be whether the pilot should have attempted a landing instead of hovering with mechanical problems and waiting for emergency assistance. Helicopter pilots at and around the Flying W Airport tell TMZ ... the pilot had options, though none were great. You hear in the air traffic control audio the pilot had mechanical problems and was waiting for emergency crews before attempting a landing. The chopper crashed before responders arrived. As one helicopter pilot in the area said, a hard landing often proves safer than hovering because low-flying helicopters with serious mechanical issues are extremely vulnerable while in the air. On the other hand ... he says because of the fire danger, you want the area foamed before touching down whenever possible. The pilot also says there are beds of water nearby the crash scene, and putting a chopper in distress down in water is often a lot safer than hovering over ground. The NTSB is investigating. (TMZ)

"We watched him take his last breaths as he continued to breathe for about 15 minutes on his own. The children burst into tears but are now at home laughing at old home movies of daddy and remembering our great love for the most wonderful man any of us have ever known," she wrote. AGT expressed their condolences on Twitter, writing: "We are deeply saddened to hear Evie Clair's father passed away. Our hearts are with Evie & her family during this difficult time." For her audition, the Florence, Arizona native belted out Christina Perri's 2011 song "Arms" -- the ballad she had been singing to her cancer-stricken father in times of need. "About a year ago, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer," Evie tearfully told Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. "They gave him a five percent chance to live, and he continued working and supporting our family. So tonight I'm here to sing for him." As she wiped away her tears and her father was shown on camera, she added, "When my dad is having rough days, I sing him this song to make him feel better and give him comfort and strength to continue fighting." America's Got Talent airs Tuesdays (8 p.m. ET) on NBC. (People)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

After breaking $20 million on Tuesday, a couple HUGE donations came through for J.J. -- $5 mil from billionaire businessman Charles Butt and $1 mil from Jimmy Fallon and "The Tonight Show." Fallon joins a long list of A-listers that have given big to Watt's fund -- including Miley Cyrus, Drake and Ellen DeGenerous. Jimmy personally thanked the Houston Texans superstar on his show ... before giving the stage to a choir group from H-Town. Awesome stuff. (TMZ)

Gad revealed late Friday that his Frozen co-star Kristen Bell "literally saved" his entire family on Florida's east coast from Hurricane Irma by getting them a hotel room further inland. The actor, who voices Olaf the snowman, was raised in Hollywood, Florida, which is located near Miami. Hurricane Irma is projected to hit those areas on Sunday morning. Jenna Dewan Tatum Reveals Husband Channing Prefers Her Without Makeup -- While Daughter Is 'Amazing' at Contour. Jenna Dewan Tatum enjoys wearing makeup, but if it were up to husband Channing Tatum she wouldn't need any. "He prefers [me] without makeup. Makes it easy on me," the World of Dance host told PEOPLE about her partner of over eight years while celebrating Young Living Essential Oils' "Scents of Self" during New York Fashion Week on Thursday. Meanwhile, the couple's 4-year-old daughter Everly may have a future in makeup. "She did a contour. It was in the right spot. It was kind of amazing actually. She calls it freestyle," the actress proudly said. "She goes, 'Mommy let me freestyle," and I said okay. She has a really strong sense of creativity and I foster that." Though Everly is just playing with makeup at the moment, the mother of one admitted that Channing isn't keen on letting their child wear makeup. "I don't think he's anywhere near ready. He'll see pictures and be like, 'That girl is 14?!'" she said. "It's mind blowing, you really almost can't see it's what's happening." Along with introducing her to makeup, the Step Up alum is teaching Everly about beauty confidence. "When it comes to beauty, I love beauty, my mom loved beauty. No one ever judged us for it," Dewan Tatum shared. "We should just stop the shaming and the judging in general. Women who wear makeup say you should wear makeup. People who don't wear makeup say you shouldn't wear makeup. Just be you. So if she likes it great, if she doesn't, fine." (People)

Dick McWilly strikes again! Wild man Cuba Gooding Jr. has hit New York Fashion Week with full force -- crashing one epic bash with a sidekick who brought him not just drinks, but women. Spies saw the star -- who we once reported was at a party introducing himself to women as "Dick McWilly" -- arrive at makeup guru Pat McGrath's voguing dance-off, dubbed the Mothership Ball, on Wednesday with a pal. Sources tell us he was not invited. Rocking a man bun, Gooding stood on a chair in a corner to see all the eye-popping action at the venue -- a downtown dim sum/pop-up party spot called China Chalet, chicly located above a TGI Fridays. With Gooding was a perky young man who kept an eye out for eligible ladies. The party aide, who seemed to be Gooding's assistant, was bringing the star drinks and saying, "You like a girl, and I'll pull them in." He also said of the hot crowd, which was crawling with drag performers: "The good thing is, I can tell you if it's a man or a woman." A spy tells Page Six, "He was bringing girls over to meet Cuba," who would bend down to speak while still standing on his chair. "All sorts -- it was a really diverse group, so he must not have much of a type." The source added, "He was very polite to everyone and shook their hands, but none of them really seemed to catch his interest." Either way, fun-loving Gooding "did seem to be having a blast. He was touching someone's feathers and was really into a patent leather, Maleficent-style look." At the end of the dance competition -- with judges including "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie -- Naomi Campbell sashayed out to part a sea of guests. Also at the wild party, Pamela Anderson and VIPs tried McGrath's new Unlimited line. Miss Lawrence and Tinashe had a dance off, and, at about 2?a.m., former Disney star Dylan Sprouse showed up "looking cozy" with a mystery brunette in a cloud of "funny smelling" cigarette smoke. He recently split from girlfriend Dayna Frazer amid cheating allegations. His rep didn't get back to us. We reported last week that Gooding joined five bikini-clad beauties in a hot tub at a Nolita spa. (Page Six)

Kaia Gerber Makes Her New York Fashion Week Runway Debut. Kaia Gerber is officially in the big leagues! Cindy Crawford's 16-year-old daughter walked her very first runway at New York Fashion Week on Thursday evening, and the debut was nothing short of impressive. Gerber modeled for Raf Simon's Calvin Klein show, wearing a pair of gold satin pants, a color-block button down and a royal blue turtleneck. She accessorized the high-fashion look with a pair of leather boots and a fringed, black and red shoulder bag. Gerber's makeup was kept to a glowy minimum, and her brunette waves were parted down and around her shoulders. Big brother Presley Gerber, 18, took to Instagram with a video of the stunning teen hitting the runway as he cheered on the front row. Gerber expressed excitement over her first of assumably many runway shows to come, writing on social media, "CALVIN KLEIN! there are no words to describe how I feel, I love you endlessly Raf!" The highly-anticipated presentation saw appearances from plenty of familiar faces, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Paris Jackson, Millie Bobby Brown, Brooke Shields, Anna Wintour, Christina Ricci and Lupita Nyong'o. And while Kaia had some certainly big shoes to fill with a mom as legendary as the one and only Cindy Crawford, we'd bet the veteran supermodel is super proud of her little girl. Back in May, E! News' Zuri Hall got the low-down on the best advice Gerber's received from Crawford. "My mom always told me to stay true to myself and be myself and I think people don't remind girls that enough," Kaia shared. "I think people might try to change themselves in this industry. Staying grounded and remembering who you are has helped me get through it." Fashion lovers can expect to see much more of Kaia as NYFW Spring 2018 continues well into next week. Cindy told WWD that she's "chaperoning" her daughter throughout the big excursion, though it's unclear if she attended Thursday's show. Cindy told the outlet, "My advice to her -- and it would be the same if she was going off to college or taking a job in a clothing store -- is be on time, be professional, don't be a diva, get off your phone. You're around these incredibly talented people, soak up information, listen, watch, keep your eyes open, be present and enjoy it. Have fun. It's fashion." Congrats, Kaia! (Eonline)

Kelsey Grammer's Daughter Mason Struts Her Stuff at NYFW -- and Looks Just Like Mom Camille! Kelsey and Camille Grammer's daughter Mason is following in her mother's modeling footsteps. The 15-year-old made her sixth appearance at the New York Fashion Week on Thursday, according to Page Six. "It always feels like the first time, it's just an amazing experience," she told the outlet. Her mother was with her and said she only lets her daughter work Fashion Week if she keeps her school grades up. "I am so proud, she's a good person, she's a good girl, in school she's getting all A's right now," Camille said. "She's been acing every test and we want to reward her with something that she loves and I think it helps her with her self-confidence." She's the latest model to come from reality star parents -- such as Gigi and Bella Hadid, whose mother, Yolanda, starred in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills -- but Camille said Mason doesn't feel pressured to pursue a high-profile career. "I don't think we have any expectations, we're just going with it," she said, with Mason adding, "Just seeing where the road takes us." "With school, I'll try to stay on top of it and do the best that I can, 'cause I feel school comes first before any of this," Mason continued. "It's more fun right now and we'll [see] if anything comes of it, but school is my number one priority." (People)

LeBron James added another job to his resume -- RUNWAY MODEL. The NBA superstar hit the catwalk for the Kith Fashion Show at the Classic Car Club during NY Fashion Week on Thursday ... and killed it. Bron was showing off his Nike LeBron 15 kicks -- while working the runway like a champ. Scottie Pippen also walked the same show -- rocking a tracksuit and a modernized version of his of his old Nike Air Pippens. Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook were reportedly in the crowd. Those guys LOVE fashion. (TMZ)

A trade to the New Orleans Saints may have saved Jon Dorenbos' life -- because the longsnapper just learned he has a very serious heart condition that was discovered during a team physical. Dorenbos -- who dominated as a magician on "America's Got Talent" -- was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Saints back in August and had to undergo a medical exam as part of the deal. Saints coach Sean Payton just told the media ... doctors discovered the 2-time Pro Bowl player had an aortic aneurysm that will require immediate heart surgery. Payton says, "It's a pretty serious condition." Dorenbos is 37 years old -- and the news could signal the end of his NFL career -- but who cares as long as he gets healthy. #GetWellSoon. (TMZ)

Jenelle Evans Responds to Son Kaiser's Grandmother's Emergency Custody Filing. Jenelle Evans is fighting back after the grandmother of her son, Kaiser Griffith, filed for emergency temporary custody of the 3-year-old. E! News obtained legal documents submitted by Doris Davidson on Sept. 1, 2017 against the Teen Mom star and Kaiser's father, Nathan Griffith, which (among other things) claim Jenelle's daughter Ensley Eason tested positive for marijuana at the time of her birth in January 2017. As a result, Davidson also claims DSS opened an investigation that found both Jenelle and her fiance David Eason had marijuana in their system. Additionally, Kaiser's grandmother reported "several occasions" in which she witnessed "bruising and markings on the minor child that are unusual and more than normal" than she thinks a child should have. "The Plaintiff and Defendant [Nathan Griffith] are at this time not fit and proper persons to provide for the care custody and control of the minor child," the documents stated. Jenelle -- who is no stranger to child custody battles -- shared the following statement exclusively with E! News: "Our lawyers are talking today. Doris made accusations but I can tell you that Barbara has a lot to do with them... Doris threw her own son under the bus by admitting that he has pending felonies and possibly on drugs. Her emergency filing was against me and Nathan Both." The MTV reality star also believes her estranged mother, Barbara Evans, played a part in influencing Davidson to seek emergency custody. Evans continued, "I can tell you that they are allegations, driven by my mom, and she didn't get her emergency custody. That speaks for itself." E! News has reached out to Davidson's legal representatives for comment. Davidson does reference Jace Evans' grandmother in the documents, in which she states Barbara expressed "concern" over Kaiser's well-being, citing a May 2017 incident in which the toddler and Jace, 8, were locked out of the house on a "very hot day." Davidson then alleges that David uses "inappropriate and excessive discipline" against Kaiser, in addition to spanking him "very hard" and "leaving marks." She is requesting a judge test Jenelle's hair follicles for drugs and undergo a psychological evaluation "for the purpose of assisting the Court in determining her fitness to have contact with the minor child..." In May 2017, Jenelle and Barbara came to a custody agreement regarding her first son, Jace. The mutually agreed upon visitation schedule awarded Jenelle custody of the child on weekends, holidays and during the summer season. She told E! News at the time, "I'm not restricted to when my mom says I can have my son anymore and at the moment that's all I care about. [I] just want to spend time with my son. He will be home one day but today wasn't the day, sadly." (Eonline)

Big win for Ezekiel Elliott -- who was just granted a preliminary injunction from a federal judge in Texas ... which blocks the NFL from imposing his 6-game suspension ... at least for now. What does it mean -- Zeke will likely play the entire NFL season without missing a single game. The NFL Player's Association had filed the lawsuit on behalf of Elliott claiming the Dallas Cowboys star did not get a fair hearing in front of the arbitrator in his appeal of the domestic violence punishment. The judge agreed ... saying there was a "cloud of fundamental unfairness" in the proceedings. The judge didn't think it was fair for Elliott to be punished with that cloud looming. The judge points out two "gross errors" in the arbitration -- which were the decision to not include the accuser Tiffany Thompson and NFL commish Roger Goodell as witnesses. So, what happens next? The NFL will likely file an emergency motion challenging the court's ruling. The chances the NFL wins that are slim. Elliott and the NFLPA now have the green light to continue the legal fight to have the 6 game suspension voided altogether ... which is their ultimate goal. That process could entail a huge, lengthy trial that could take months and months -- and until the case is settled and a judge rules on the validity of the suspension once and for all, Zeke gets to play. Janet Jackson Breaks Down in Tears as She Sings "What About" Onstage After Resuming Tour. Janet Jackson drew concern from fans by breaking down in tears for a moment onstage at her concert in Houston Saturday. It marked a rare emotional moment during an otherwise joyful and high-energy show, her second as part of her newly renamed State of the World tour, which began two days prior and followed her maternity leave. The 51-year-old pop star gave birth to her first child, son Eissa, more than nine months ago. She is currently in the process of divorcing his father, Wissam Al Mana, her husband of five years. The two had been together since 2010. Onstage at the Toyota Center in Houston, Jackson paused after performing her 1997 song "What About," a new addition to her setlist, covered her face with one hand, bent over and sobbed for a few seconds. She then stood and said, "This is me." The song is about domestic violence. Sample lyrics include, "What about all the s--t you've done to me? / What about the times you hit my face? / What about the times you kept on when I said no more, please?" Jackson had also appeared emotional after performing the song at her first concert stop in Lafayette, Louisiana on Thursday but seemed to recover quicker. In July 2016, Jackson delayed her Unbreakable tour, saying she and her husband were planning their family. She also said the name of the tour would change to The State of the World tour. She did not perform "What About" at the concerts she gave before her maternity hiatus. Until her show in Louisiana Thursday, Jackson last performed the song live in 1999. Jackson arrived in Houston Friday, a day before her concert, and met with Hurricane Harvey victims. "She brought smiles and hugs," an eyewitness told E! News. "She seemed very touched seeing all these people sleeping on cots and her dancers were also very moved." (Eonline)

Janet Jackson is finally back on tour, and fans -- including Tyler Perry -- are reaping the benefits of some serious post breakup hotness. Janet resumed her State of the World tour Thursday night in Lafayette, Louisiana -- but you'd never guess she'd given birth earlier this year. JJ wore some tight tops and flaunted her bod way more than she did before postponing her tour last year. Of course, a lot's changed since then. Besides having baby Eissa, she's divorcing Wissam Al Mana. His loss is the fans' gain. Her longtime friend Tyler was in the audience ... dancing and singing along. Welcome back, Miss Jackson! Yeah, 'cause we're nasty. (TMZ)

Puddle of Mudd had to cancel it's concert Saturday night, because its lead singer was in the pokey on gun charges ... TMZ has learned. Wes Scantlin was busted at LAX Saturday after he tried boarding a plane with a BB gun. He was taken to jail and booked. His bail was a whopping $850,000. It appears there were other charges as well. Wes was trying to get from L.A. to Keller, Texas, where his band was scheduled to perform. Without a lead singer, what's the point, so they pulled the plug. What's unclear ... how Wes planned on getting to the concert, because he was booked at 10:20 PM in L,A. It sounds like the gig was doomed whether he took off or not. (TMZ)

Someone is trying to drag down One Direction over its song, "Drag Me Down," claiming the group pilfered the tune. Amir Shaheed-Edwards, who goes by the stage name Bravo, claims the group ripped off his song, "All My Life." Bravo says he recorded the song in 2015 and released it on SoundCloud. 1D's song was also released in 2015. Bravo has now sued, claiming the 2 songs are "essentially identical." He does not give examples of the similarities in the lawsuit. He's suing Syco Entertainment, which produced 1D, for damages and he wants the company to stop selling the song. (TMZ)

Kanye West has reached out to Jay-Z to bury the hatchet in their latest feud ... TMZ has learned. Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Kanye asked for a face-to-face with Jay, to hash out the beef that was ignited when Kanye went onstage last Fall and went after Jay, Beyonce and even Blue Ivy. Jay said he paid no mind to Kanye targeting him, but going after his family crossed the line. And Jay called Kanye out in the song "Kill Jay Z." Kanye's people feel Jay should cut him some slack because Kanye wasn't in his right mind ... Kanye went on the rant shortly before his hospitalization. It's interesting ... TMZ broke the story Kanye and Jay are embroiled in a financial dispute over Yeezy's Tidal deal and millions are in contention. Yet we're told money is not the source of conflict between the 2 men. They both have plenty. It's all about their relationship. One source says they seem to be reconciling, adding they have the classic love/hate relationship and frequently bounce back between the 2 emotions. As for the Tidal dispute, we're told it's being hashed out. (TMZ)

Sam Smith Talks New Album and Says He's "Insanely Single." Sam Smith is single -- like really single. During an interview with Beats 1 radio host Zane Lowe about Smith's new album, Lowe asked Smith if he was over the "heartbreak" reflected in his first album In the Lonely Hour. "The only thing is that I'm still very, very single," Smith said. "I think I'm even more single than I was when I released In the Lonely Hour. So, I'm insanely single." The singer told the host that he tried to challenge himself and address "heavier stuff" with his new album. The song, "Too Good at Goodbyes", for instance, is about a relationship he was in. "What I've been through relationship-wise the last year has made me a lot stronger," he said, "and I feel like I've learned some lessons from it." Zane even described the artwork for "Too Good at Goodbyes", which features a giant bouquet of dying flowers, as "dark." "My favorite flowers are dead flowers," Smith explained. "I think the colors are really really beautiful. So for my album cover shoot...we got loads and loads of dead flowers, but it didn't actually work out for the cover in the end. We had this beautiful picture that we made black and white and, I don't know, it symbolizes goodbyes to me." But Smith said the album isn't just about him. On the contrary, the album -- which he said contains 10 songs on one version and 14 on another -- contains only four songs about him; the rest are about other people in his life. Smith also had the opportunity to collaborate with other artists for the record, including Timbaland. "I can't wait for people to hear that!" he told Zane. "To me it was a dream to work with him, and I'm so proud because, when you listen to it, it's a real collaboration. It's the two sounds smashed together, which I'm really really proud of." In addition, he worked with a new songwriting and producing team, Stargate, along with his previous producer and songwriter Jimmy Napes. Smith said it was important for him to challenge himself and "be scared again" by trying new things. At the same time, he acknowledged that not every recording session works out. "It's really hard to work with people [on] something because what I write is so personal. I've really gotta trust them in every way because I'm about to tell them some really dark secrets. I've gotta know that they're not gonna tell anyone, basically." Smith also told Zane that he's "ready for something more positive." However, romantic relationships aren't his only priority. When asked about the "most challenging" and "greatest" times in his life, Smith talked about getting back on "the same page" as his family and friends. "My fame and what happens when you become well known really scared me," he said in regards to the most challenging time. "I became very distant to my family and friends just because our lives weren't relatable. So, that was really tough for me. When I'm not close to my family I freak out and I'm just not the best person I could be. Then, I'd say the best moments were just being here for them. For it to not be about me for one year was absolutely wonderful. I was there to see my goddaughter be born. I've been at every single birthday for my mom and my dad, sister and my cousins, my best friends. I'm there for down days and their good days. My sisters' graduation -- I was there for both of them. It was incredible." "Too Good at Goodbyes" is out now and Smith said his album will be released "before Christmas." (Eonline)

Billy Joel reveals a rivalry with Elton John to Harry Connick Jr. on the Season 2 premiere of Connick's show, "Harry," airing Tuesday. When Connick asks, "Do you feel pressure to write new songs?" Joel says, "Elton used to ask me that. We would be on the road together . . . 'When are you going to make another album? When are you making more albums?' After a while, I would say, 'When are you going to make less albums?'" Joel said that John can "do stuff in keys that I don't even know how to play." (Page Six)

The latest being Piece By Piece in 2015. "The loyalty, innovation, and creativeness that Atlantic Records has been consistently bringing to the music industry is incredibly exciting for any artist to be a part of! We have already started creating a record that I have been wanting to make since I was a little girl, and a record that fans have been asking me to make for years. Here's to the future!" Jennifer Nettles Releases 9/11 Tribute Song "King of the City." Jennifer Nettles is paying her respects ahead of the sixteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. On Friday, the 42-year-old singer-songwriter released the song "King of the City," inspired by the tale of an immigrant window washer who died in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. "That day in September / I'll always remember / Started out just like the rest / I was floor 26 when the first plane hit / And I still feel that sound in my chest," Nettles sings in one of the verses. "It's true I wasn't born here / But my heart is sworn here / To hold up your dreams with my own / That day on my porch / I made it to church / And I prayed for each soul to fly home." "King of the City" has been in development for quite some time. "It has been so long since I started writing this song, but I was only able to finish it in the last year," she tells E! News in a statement. "I was inspired by the political tensions in our country right now. I want to humanize the immigrant story as an American story, and allow people a different narrative from what they might be seeing on the news or in their communities." Nettles, who was born and raised in Georgia, now lives in New York City, where her apartment overlooks the Freedom Tower site. "Sept. 11 was such a tragedy that everyone rallied around," Nettles says in a statement. "We all hurt on that day, we were all Americans and all patriots, and the immigrant story is the real American dream -- to come and build your life in this place." In July, Mexican superstar Jaime Camil -- Nettles' co-star the stage production of Mamma Mia! at the Hollywood Bowl -- first suggested she perform "King of he City" on Univision. "What I like to do as an artist is not wave a flag and scream in your face. I like to sit in the corner and say, 'Look over here, here's a different story, another way to look at this.' The places I want to address are places of pain, to say, 'Where does it hurt? Let's talk about that,'" she says. "And we are hurting as a country. So, I hope that within the Latino community, people feel validated and seen with this song, and I hope that within the country at large, it sends a message of unity." "King of the City" is now available on Amazon, Apple Music, Google Play, iTunes and Spotify. (Eonline)

Could Zayn & Taylor Swift win an Oscar for 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever'? Please say yes. There may be even more 'Bad Blood' after this... GLAMOUR's resident basic bitch with an Instagram obsession (follow me: @LeanneBayley). Fluent in emojis & Gilmore Girls trivia ???????? Taylor Swift has sent the music industry into a frenzy after she released her revenge track 'Look What You Made Me Do'. In the not-so subtle video, she snubs her rival Katy Perry, in particular for not having a Grammy. But Taylor may have even more reason to shake her haters off, as it was just revealed that the pop princess may actually bag an Oscar. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures who distributed Fifty Shades Darker in which the song appeared in, have kick started a campaign to bring T-Swizzle and her collaborators, Zayn Malik, Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew, a 'Best Original Song' nomination. While this would be the second award for the hit song after it took home 'Best Collaboration' at the VMA's, the American film studio declined these plans. But, a spokesperson did confirm that they are supportive of the song's campaign for merit consideration. Watch this space... In a behind-the-scenes clip from the music video, Taylor revealed that she filmed most of her solo scenes in the early hours of the morning before Zayn had even arrived. "We're in London. It's earlier than I care to really even say," she says. "We're starting to shoot the video for 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever.' And I'm first because clearly I don't demand late enough call times because Zayn's asleep somewhere in London, I imagine, under some kind of silk duvet." Turns out we weren't the only ones obsessed with the Bad Blood singer's glam in this video (those glitter lips are LIFE) as she seemed pretty impressed with it herself, saying "I'm just like really stoked about the lips right now. I feel like I have a disco ball on my face." Ahead of the video release for I Don't Wanna Live Forever, both Taylor and Zayn took to Instagram to drop a video teaser and it was as amazing as you'd expect. Now, the full video is here in all its sexy glory... EEK. The video sees Zayn and Taylor moodily explore a lowly lit hotel while singing the track before trashing it at the end. Trust, us you've got to see it. P.s Zayn looks super-hot and Taylor looks gorgeous! LOVE. The song was written for the movie by Taylor Swift (but of course!), Jack Antonoff (Lena Dunham's boyfriend) & Sam Dew. (British Glamour)

Paramore's lead vocalist, Hayley Williams, handed her mic to a die-hard fan who rocked out so hard and so good ... she might as well be Hayley's backup singer. The impromptu karaoke sesh went down Wednesday night at the Times-Union Center in Jacksonville, FL where the band performed to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of its career-launching album, "Riot!" It's pretty awesome ... Hayley noticed the fan was singing along all night and decided to bring her up for the last act and rock out to the hit "Misery Business." How good was she? So good Hayley worshiped the performance, literally. BTW, the crowd was stoked to see Paramore, which just postponed 2 upcoming shows in Florida as Hurricane Irma makes its way to Miami. (TMZ)

Lil Wayne Back in the Studio with Scott Storch, Damian Lillard After Latest Health Scare. Despite his recent hospitalization for another seizure-related incident, Lil Wayne is clearly not slowing down. The indefatigable MC was back in a studio this week with producer Scott Storch working on new tunes, according to a middle finger-heavy post from Storch, who wrote on Thursday (Sept. 7), "My boy from back in Miami @liltunechi now he's healthy and we making some #hits in Los Angeles." And, despite doctor's orders to take it easy, Storch wasn't the only one Wayne has been hanging with this week. Weezy also posed in a pic on Thursday with NBA point guard and Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, who has released a series of songs as Dame D.O.L.L.A. It appeared the two were also at a recording studio, Wayne, 34, who has epilepsy, missed a show in Las Vegas last weekend after reportedly suffering multiple seizures in a Chicago hotel room. The rapper's doctors at Northwestern Memorial advised him against immediately releasing him due to his recent run of poor health, which includes a hospitalization in June 2016 tied to what was described at the time as two minor seizures just days before a planned appearance at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles. In 2013, Wayne spent time in an intensive care unit. "The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself. That's just typical me though," he said at the time. After his latest scare Wayne's daughter said earlier this week that her dad is doing just "fine." Reginae Carter tweeted on Monday (Sept. 4) that "my dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concerns you guys are amazing," adding "oh yeah... & don't believe everything you hear." (Billboard)

The car cruises to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia cathedral, the city's biggest tourist attraction, where Shakira immediately causes selfie madness, while Noah makes jokes about the fact that no one at all seems to recognize him. The episode airs almost a month after the Aug. 17 terrorist attack in the city center that killed 14 people.." (Billboard)

Linkin Park Pay Tribute to Fans With Touching. Linkin Park shared a touching video as a thank-you to fans for their "outpouring of love and support" following the death of frontman Chester Bennington. The alternative rock icons posted a montage of memorials from around the globe over a soundbed of their haunting 2017 track "One More Light." The caption simply reads, "Thank you to our fans from around the world for your outpouring of love and support." Last month the surviving bandmates shared their intention to memorialize Bennington in their home city, Los Angeles, presumably in the near future. The group has not performed since Bennington committed suicide on July 20 and has kept a decidedly low profile, subtly paying its respects as necessary. (Billboard)

Maxwell Teases Next Album, Releases 'More Gods' Video Remix. Currently on tour, a multi-tasking Maxwell is releasing a remix video for his R&B hit single "Gods." Fans can get their first look at "More Gods"-- the Grammy winner's upbeat, stylish revamp centered around DJ Kapiro's remix of the song -- on Billboard (Sept. 8). Motivated after listening to DJ Kapiro's remix, Maxwell tells Billboard that he "was inspired to add an extra visual element to the video, something different. I'm looking forward to hearing it on the radio." Brandon Carter directed the "More Gods" video remix. The original neon pink "Gods" video, released in March by Maxwell and Tidal, was directed by Philip Andelman. Aside from the remix's beat-heavy rhythms and Maxwell's mesmerizing refrain "do what you want" (also written out in various languages onscreen), the video finds the singer also teasing his next album. It's the anticipated final chapter in an album trilogy that began with 2009's BLACKsummers'night and 2016's second installment blackSUMMERS'night, which features "Gods." Asked about the arrival date for his next album, Maxwell offers only a cryptic reply: "Be prepared to be surprised. Night is coming." Maxwell will perform at the UNITAS Gala "Against Human Trafficking" on Sept. 12. Upcoming stops on his national tour include Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl, Oct. 6), Las Vegas (The Cosmopolitan, Oct. 7) and Concord, Calif. (Concord Pavilion, Oct. 8). (Billboard)

The 'Revengers' assemble in new Thor: Ragnarok promo. Thor is recruiting his own super team, but he's proving to not be very creative in naming his new crew. In the latest trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, which debuted during Thursday's NFL regular season opener on NBC, the Norse God is rounding up some new and familiar faces. "I'm putting together a team," he tells Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), to which she responds, "This team of yours, does it got a name?" A bit flustered, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) looks to his Avengers teammate Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and replies, "Yeah, it's called the Re... Revengers." When Valkyrie is far from impressed, he backpedals, saying, "Well, I mean, we don't have to have a name. We could have no name." Set to hit theaters on Nov. 3, director Taiki Waititi's film has been named fall's most anticipated movie in a recent Fandango survey. (Entertainment Weekly)

Netflix Will Not Get Future Marvel or Star Wars Movies. Cancel your movie marathon, because Netflix won't be receiving new Lucasfilm and Marvel titles. Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger announced Thursday that the company has decided to move Marvel and Star Wars films to its new streaming service, slated to launch in late 2019. When Disney announced in August that it would launch its very own direct-to-consumer streaming service, Iger said Disney and Pixar movies currently on Netflix would move to its streaming service. The fate of Lucasfilm and Marvel titles was unknown, but Disney left the door open to license streaming rights for those to Netflix or another third party. "We've now decided we will put the Marvel and Star Wars movies on this app as well," Iger said Thursday. Upcoming titles, like Thor: Ragnarok (Nov. 3, 2017), Star Wars: the Last Jedi (Dec. 15, 2017), Black Panther (Feb. 9, 2018) and Avengers: Infinity War (Apr. 25, 2018), will go to Disney's app. A subscription price has yet to be determined. Iger said Disney plans to produce four or five original films per year, in addition to making an equal number of original series and TV movies. (Shortly after Disney announced its streaming plans, Netflix poached Shonda Rhimes; the mogul, of Grey's Anatomy and Scandal fame, had spent more than a decade at Disney's ABC.) Disney originally signed a licensing agreement for the U.S. pay-TV window in December 2012, giving Netflix streaming rights to films starting with 2016 releases. Many of the studio's biggest movies in recent years -- including Beauty and the Beast, Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory, Moana, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Zootopia -- are currently streaming on Netflix. Separate from the film deal, Netflix has a multi-year contract with Marvel for series based on comic book properties, such as Daredevil, The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Netflix's chief content officer, Ted Sarandos, isn't worried. "I would say that the relationship between studios and networks has always been that of a frenemy," he told Variety in August, downplaying Disney's decision to establish itself as new competition. "Everyone is doing some version of it already. They just have to make a decision for their companies, their brands and their shareholders on how to best optimize the content." "We started making original content five years ago," he added, "betting this would happen." (Eonline)

'It' Screenwriter Was Terrified Stephen King Wouldn't Like the Movie. There are so many ways It could have gone wrong, and there were only so many of those ways screenwriter Gary Dauberman had the time to worry about. The pressure-filled project had to appeal to the diehard fans of the Stephen King novel, make it feel new and relevant today -- plus lock down a killer cast of young talent to make the whole thing work. But most importantly for the screenwriter, it had to please King. In the story, Pennywise the clown (Bill Skarsgard) turns the fears of children against them -- and as he was writing, Dauberman imagined what it was the demonic clown would use against him. "He would take the form of Stephen King and a look of disappointment on his face. That's the thing that haunted me through this process," says Dauberman, who shares screenwriting credits with Chase Palmer and Cary Fukunaga. "He is part of the reason I am who I am, and I have his books all over my house and all of that stuff ... And finally to hear how much he enjoyed the movie, it felt like I was holding my breath the last year or so and I could finally exhale." Now, Dauberman find himself in a rare position as a screenwriter. He also wrote Annabelle: Creation, which became a commercial and critical hit last month. Now he's tipped to have another hit on his hands with director Andy Muschietti's It, which is set for a huge debut. In a conversation with Heat Vision, the screenwriter discusses his fears and hopes for the Losers' Club as he was writing them for a new generation (Hollywood Reporter)

Ousted Fox News Anchor Eric Bolling's 19-Year-Old Son Dead in Apparent Suicide: Report. The 19-year-old son of Fox News host and contributor Eric Bolling was found dead on Friday. The Huffington Post reported Saturday that Eric Chase Bolling, Jr. died in Boulder, Colorado, where, according to his Facebook, he was studying economics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. "Very sad news, Eric Bolling's son, who was only 19, died last night. By all accounts, Eric was incredibly devoted to his son. Heartbreaking," HuffPo contributor Yashar Ali wrote on Twitter. "The one thing I heard from people consistently: he was a devoted dad." Chase was Bolling's only son with wife Adrienne. Representatives for the family have not immediately returned PEOPLE's request for comment. Bolling did confirm the news Saturday afternoon on Twitter, saying that he and his wife are "devastated" and that details are still unclear. While a cause of death has not been confirmed, sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Eric died via suicide. Boulder police wouldn't confirm to PEOPLE the identification of the person's death but did say that there was a death under investigation. They directed inquiries of the cause of death to the coroner, who was not available to comment. "It is still under investigation," Sgt. Nick Smetzer tells PEOPLE. "The death investigation is being done by us in coordination with the coroner." Cops also confirmed to PEOPLE that a call regarding the death came into police on Friday and the investigation is being conducted at the 900 block on east 28th street, which is near campus. The sad news comes hours after new broke that Bolling had been removed from his job at Fox News following allegations that he harassed colleagues. "Fox News Channel is canceling The Specialists, and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably," the network said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. "We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck." Bolling anchored Fox News' Cashin' In. and also co-hosted Fox News Specialists and The Five. In a statement released on Saturday, Fox News expressed their sadness over Bolling's loss. "We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Eric Bolling's son," the network said in a statement to PEOPLE. "Eric Chase was a wonderful young man and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bolling family." Several TV commentators, including Fox News' Sean Hannity, also expressed their condolences on social media. "To my dear friend, please know we all love you, will be here for you and your family," wrote Hannity. "So awful," said CNN anchor Don Lemon. "My heart goes out to Eric and his family." Bolling came under fire in August after a HuffPost report revealed he allegedly sent unsolicited inappropriate text messages to female colleagues, TIME reported. Bolling sued the reporter who broke the story in response -- launching a $50 million defamation lawsuit. He was first suspended from Fox in August pending an internal investigation. His attorney, Michael J. Bowe, told HuffPost in a statement, "Mr. Bolling recalls no such inappropriate communications, does not believe he sent any such communications, and will vigorously pursue his legal remedies for any false and defamatory accusations that are made." Bowe then told EW after the announcement of Bolling's suspension, "The anonymous, uncorroborated claims are untrue and terribly unfair. We intend to fully cooperate with the investigation so that it can be concluded and Eric can return to work as quickly as possible." (People)

She's in! Shailene Woodley opened up about her potential interest in appearing in a second season of HBO's Big Little Lies in the October Issue of Marie Claire U.K. magazine. 10 Once-Great TV Shows That Went Downhill. "I haven't heard anything, but of course I'd do it," she told the publication." It would be so fun." The miniseries, which also stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Zoe Kravitz and Laura Dern, left off with the school moms covering up the murder of abusive husband Perry Wright (Alexander Skarsgård). And while the wildly popular series hasn't officially been renewed, the 25-year-old actress is interested to see where her character Jane Chapman ends up after surviving sexual abuse from Skarsgard's character. "I think it would be interesting to explore the psychological trauma she's undergoing post seeing him," Woodley explained to the mag. "I think there's an assumption that these things are quick to heal once you begin therapy or once you have that closure. But these are lifelong pains that you're constantly working through." The Divergent actress isn't the only cast member to speak of a possible second season. In a Thursday, September 7 appearance on Good Morning America, Witherspoon, 41, who also executive-produced the show, discussed the possibility, saying: "We're talking about it. We had so much fun and literally this group of women are my closest friends and we're thinking about it. We're talking about it. There's only one book and it ended where the show ended. We gotta get the writer to write another book." Liane Moriarty, who wrote the book the series was based off of is also toying with the idea of a second season. "I have started to think about ways this could continue. The producers have asked me to see if I can come up with some ideas. I wouldn't write a new book but perhaps a new story and then we'll see what happens," she explained to The Sunday Morning Herald in April. "I'm absolutely open to it because, once I started thinking, it was too much fun to see what I could do and to see these characters again. And there's definitely places you can go." HBO programming president Casey Bloys shared the network's thoughts on renewing the series for a second season in July. "Liane taking her crack at it and I think that it's interesting," he said. "I don't think [there's been] a time when we've gone to the writer of the novel, the source material, to come up with like, 'Do you see ongoing stories?' I'll be very curious to see what she comes up with that. Normally you go to a TV writer, and say, 'What do you see?'" The Big Little Lies finale aired on April 2 and received a whopping 16 Emmy nominations. Witherspoon and Kidman are both nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category. Woodley, Dern and Skarsgård were also nominated, with the show earning a nom for Outstanding Limited Series too. (US Weekly)

Sinead O'Connor to Dr. Phil: "I Am Fed Up of Being Defined as the Crazy Person." Sinead O'Connor is getting help, from Dr. Phil. The 50-year-old Irish Grammy-winning "Nothing Compares 2 U" singer has battled depression, sparked fresh concerns about her mental health in recent years due to alarming social media posts. In a rare interview on Dr. Phil, set to air on the show's 16th season premiere on Tuesday, she said, "I am fed up of being defined as the crazy person, the child abuse survivor." "I'm changing my name," she added, as seen in a promo video released Thursday. "Sinead O'Connor's gone. That person's gone." O'Connor says her mother, who died when she was a teen, abused her physically and sexually. "She ran a torture chamber," O'Connor said. "She was a person who took delight in hurting you." When asked what she loved about her mother, O'Connor responded, "What I love about my mother is that she's dead." O'Connor has spoken candidly about her mental health issues before. She told Oprah Winfrey in 2007 that she attempted suicide on her 33rd birthday in 1999. O'Connor revealed on Dr. Phil that she tried to kill herself eight times in one year. In 2011, O'Connor sparked concern online and received a police visit after tweeting what appeared to be a suicidal rant. In 2015, O'Connor posted on Facebook that she had "taken an overdose" and referenced what she says was "appalling cruelty" done to her by her family and police. She also said she is "desperately in need of a job and a place to live." Her post spurred fans to call the authorities, who found her to be safe and sound and took her to a hospital to get checked out. In 2016, O'Connor revealed on Facebook that she had spent time in rehab "for thirty years of being a weed head," adding, "Can proudly state I now have clean piss and will be in a 'sober living environment' for the next year." This past August, O'Connor posted a Facebook video showing her crying in a motel room and saying her family had abandoned her amid her mental health issues. "People who suffer from mental illness are the most vulnerable people on Earth," she said. "You've got to take care of us. We're not like everybody." Days later, O'Connor said she is "well and "in a wonderful, loving hospital" after passing a kidney stone. She said she was diagnosed with PTSD and depression. "I am now back on depression meds and also meds for PTSD," she wrote. "I have the best doctor and medical team now that I have ever had. And today I woke up beaming smiling for no reason at all. Every day I am more me, alive, like the sun is coming up more every day." "They are going to send me to live in a community of domestic abuse survivors as they reckon the reason I have not recovered for two years is I been seeking the wrong help," she said, adding, "I have good people around me and I will never be lonely again. My mission from now on will be to dedicate my life to the abolishment of stigma toward mentally ill people and in particular to the abolishment of the abandonment of mentally ill people by their families." Dr. Phil talked about his interview with O'Connor on Jimmy Kimmel Live! He said the singer reached out to him. "She actually called me," he said. "She said, 'Look, I'm in trouble. I need help.'" "She said, 'I want to destigmatize mental illness,'" he said. "She said, 'I clearly have a problem.' She said, 'Too many musicians are dying and I want to use my life to be a teaching tool. I'm willing to sit down and talk.' So we did." (Eonline)

TV Ratings: NFL Kickoff Ticks Down for Second Year in a Row. Thursday's game between defending Super Bowl champion New England Pariots and the Kansas City Chiefs earned an overnight 14.6 rating among households. As the broadcast networks prepare for the launch of the new season, NFL football's return on Thursday gave NBC an early jolt. The NFL season opener, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs upset the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, earned an overnight 14.6 rating among households. That's down from the 16.5 rating for the comparable outing last year, when the Denver Broncos battled the Carolina Panthers in a Super Bowl 50 rematch. The 25 share for Thursday's game was also down from last year's 29 share. Total viewership for Thursday's game is expected later in the day. This is the second year in a row the first NFL game of the season has brought diminishing returns. The 2015 opener, which brought in a 17.7 rating among households, 21.4 million viewers and 7.4 rating among adults 18-49, when Tom Brady made a triumphant return following the "Deflategate" scandal and his subsequent four-game suspension, which was thrown out before the opener. More eyes have been on NFL in recent years as broadcast networks like NBC and CBS -- which will continue to split Thursday Night Football games this season -- look to live programs to help bolster ratings. Viewership for NFL games in the 2016 regular season was down an average of eight percent. However, Sunday Night Football still ranked as the No. 1 show of the 2016-17 broadcast season in the 18-49 demo, averaging a 6.7 rating and 19.75 million viewers. (Thursday Night Football on NBC and CBS ranked second and fourth for the season, respectively.) The official premiere of Thursday Night Football will see the Houston Texas go up against the Cincinnati Bengals. (Hollywood Reporter)
