Shay Mooney, who is half of country duo Dan + Shay, wed former Miss Arkansas Hannah Billingsley on Friday. The pair also posted social media images, which include Hannah's stunning sparkler, while en route to their honeymoon. The ceremony was held between two oak trees on the Shay's family property in Arkansas and was followed by an outdoor reception with a backdrop of Ozarks. Wedding planner Jessica Sloane told E! News that the reception took place inside a sailcloth tent. The tables were adorned with lush florals in muted blush and champagne tones. Bridesmaids wore different dresses in same tones, while the groomsmen were dressed in black. Singing partner Dan Smyers and the band's guitarist Justin Richards were groomsmen in the wedding. Sloane said that at the reception, Shay performed an original song to Hannah that he wrote for her just a few weeks ago. The outlet also reports that the couple's 9-month-old son Asher James was carried down the aisle, while Dan Smyers (the other half of the duo) and the band's guitarist Justin Richards stood up as groomsmen for their bandmate. Shawn Johnson Reveals She Suffered a Miscarriage in Heartbreaking Video. Shawn Johnson and husband Andrew East shared some heartbreaking news with fans on Saturday: They revealed she had recently suffered a miscarriage. The 25-year-old retired Olympic gold medalist and gymnast and two-time Dancing With the Stars competitor married the 26-year-old football player in Tennessee in April 2016. "We feel like a lot of people go through this so we wanted to share it, " Johnson said in a YouTube video while sitting with her husband. "The past 48 hours have been some of the happiest, scariest, and saddest times of my life," she wrote. "My husband Andrew and I found out that we were unexpectedly pregnant, only to find out hours later some tragic news. I have been crying more than I ever have, but am still optimistic for what is next." In the video, two digital home pregnancy tests are shown and are positive. Johnson then holds them up and declares, tearfully, "We're going to have a baby. I definitely wasn't planning this but it's really, really exciting. How am I gonna tell Andrew? He's going to be a daddy." Johnson and East were then shown driving to a doctor's office. She said she started feeling stomach pains. At the doctor's office, an ultrasound showed bleeding in her uterus and no gestational sac, meaning she had miscarried naturally. She was six weeks along -- just a two weeks after a pregnancy test can show a positive result. Johnson took hers earlier this week. After the video was posted, Johnson and East took to Instagram and Facebook Live to chat with their fans. They appeared to be in good spirits as they answered questions. They said they did not plan to get pregnant. "We know everything happens for a reason," Johnson said. "We believe God's got a bigger plan for us. All we can do is be positive otherwise we just sink into a hole." (Eonline)

Kelly Clarkson: "When I Was Really Skinny, I Wanted to Kill Myself." Kelly Clarkson is happy in the skin she's in -- but that wasn't always the case. Clarkson became an overnight sensation after winning the first season of American Idol 15 years ago. But, as her sophomore album, 2004's Breakaway took off, Clarkson was put under immense pressure to lose weight and look as "skinny" as her peers. The "Since U Been Gone" singer, who battled bulimia in high school, knew she was fighting a losing battle. "When I was really skinny, I wanted to kill myself. I was miserable, like inside and out, for four years of my life," she says in Attitude magazine. "But no one cared, because aesthetically you make sense." Clarkson, who was signed to Clive Davis' RCA Records at the time, calls it a "very dark time" in her career. "I thought the only way out was quitting. I, like, wrecked my knees and my feet, because all I would do is put in headphones and run," she says. "I was at the gym all the time." The singer realized she needed to regain control of her life -- and her career. She famously fought with Davis over the songs featured on her third album, 2007's My December, and she later fired her manager, Jeff Kwatinetz. "There's a song on My December called 'Sober.' There's this line -- 'picked the weeds but kept the flowers' -- and I just live my life by that, because you are who you surround yourself with. I was around some really negative people, and I got out of it because I had a lot of great people there, too," says Clarkson, who signed a deal with Atlantic Records last spring. "It was a case of turning around, facing them and walking toward the light." These days, Clarkson would rather talk about her new music than her appearance. (Her eighth album, Meaning of Life, is out Oct. 27). "I don't obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it. There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism–that is not me," Clarkson told Redbook two years ago. "I wish I had a better metabolism. But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has." (Eonline)

Priscilla Presley Says She Has Not Quit the Church of Scientology. Priscilla has not left the (Scientology) building! Despite reports to the contrary, Priscilla Presley has not left the Church of Scientology, her rep confirms to E! News. Over the weekend, the Daily Mail reported that the 72-year-old, who is believed to have been a member of since the death of her ex-husband Elvis Presley, told friends she had quit the controversial religion. According to the site, a source said that she quit in 2014 and that originally, "Priscilla reached out to John Travolta after Elvis died in 1977 and that's how she ended up in the church." The source added, "She has been in it ever since and she raised her daughter Lisa Marie in it." But it appears as if the tried and true member has not gone anywhere. Scientology was founded by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard in 1955 and boasts several luminaries and celebs as members. However, in recent times, former celebrity members, like Leah Remini and director Paul Haggis, have gone public denouncing Scientology and its controversial practices. According to the website What Is Scientology, which is owned and operated by Church of Scientology International, Priscilla has said in the past, "L Ron Hubbard researched man and has carefully and precisely mapped a route out of the madness, misery and unwanted conditions one can encounter in life. When applied exactly, the technology produces incredible results. Those results are very definite and eternal." The statement continued, "Were it not for Scientology, I would either be completely insane or dead by now. I am forever grateful for the technology of Scientology and to Mr. Hubbard who dedicated his life to helping man and this planet, as well as to the people who have dedicated their lives to helping others through Scientology." Matt Damon Admits Ben Affleck Told Him About Gwyneth Paltrow's Alleged Harvey Weinstein Incident Years Ago. Matt Damon said he was aware of an alleged incident involving disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and Gwyneth Paltrow, who told the New York Times that the producer made unwanted advances towards her in a hotel room when she was 22. In a Monday sit-down with Good Morning America, Suburbicon stars Damon and George Clooney spoke about the allegations of sexual misconduct made against Weinstein, the man who helped launch both of their careers in Hollywood. "I knew the story about Gwyneth from Ben [Affleck] because he was with her after Brad [Pitt]," Damon shared. He added, "I never talked to Gwyneth about it. Ben told me, but I knew that they had come to whatever, you know, agreement or understanding that they had come to, she had handled it. She was, you know, the first lady of Miramax. And he treated her incredibly respectfully always." Aside from that incident, Damon said he got a bad vibe from Weinstein but had no idea about the extent of his alleged behavior. "I knew he was a womanizer," the actor said, noting that he worked with Weinstein at the "height of his power in the late 1990s on movies like Good Will Hunting. "I wouldn't want to be married to the guy. But the criminal sexual predation is not something that I ever thought was going on. Absolutely not." Clooney said that Weinstein had told him that he had affairs with "some actresses who were friends of mine." "I didn't really think that they were going have affairs with Harvey, quite honestly. And clearly they didn't," he added. "But the idea that this predator, this assaulter was out there silencing women like that, it's beyond infuriating." More than 40 women have come forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment after the New York Times first published reports of his alleged misbehavior on Oct. 5. The women speaking out on their negative personal encounters with Weinstein include Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino, Rosanna Arquette and Cara Delevingne. Actresses Asia Argento, Rose McGowan, Lysette Anthony and Lucia Evans have all claimed they were forced to perform a sex act by Weinstein. In a subsequent report by The New Yorker, another unnamed woman alleged the producer had raped her. According to the New York Times, Weinstein has reached civil settlements with eight different women relating to inappropriate sexual behavior. A spokesperson for Weinstein previously told PEOPLE in a statement that "any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein." Damon also spoke out about what men in Hollywood can do to end this type of behavior at the London premiere of Suburbicon. "To me, the message is, somebody as powerful as Harvey can be brought down by this, what we need is for it to filter down, all the way down to somebody who's like a single mom who's a waitress, who's getting harassed when she's punching out, and she's afraid to speak up because she's going to lose her job, and she needs her job," Damon told PEOPLE. "And what we need is for her to be able to be a human being and say on the level of human decency, I'm allowed to speak up, and I'm empowered to speak up, because this is wrong, period, the end. That's hopefully where this is going." The actor added that social media has been a powerful tool in getting the word out and showing victims that they are not alone. "Maybe I'm naive or an optimist, but I really do believe that there's going to be major change, that there won't be this type of behavior anymore," he said. Suburbicon opens Friday. (People)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

How Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager Went From Today Co-Workers to Lifelong Friends. When it comes to morning television, chemistry is the key to success. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb certainly have shared it the past nine years as they taste-test new wines and discuss the latest pop culture news during the fourth hour of Today. And more recently, Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest prove they make one special match when they go Live from New York City each and every morning. But with National Talk Show Host Day upon us, we decided to take a look at two specific morning show veterans who have developed quite a friendship both on and off camera. If you haven't already guessed, we're talking about Today's Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie. It all began five years ago when Savannah was promoted to co-anchor with Matt Lauer and found herself sitting next to Jenna in the makeup room. "I knew nothing about her, even though we had overlapped in Washington, D.C. for several years, knew some of the same people and had even been in the same room at the same time," Jenna previously admitted in a letter for Today. "But after five years working alongside her -- and living next to her (yes, we are next door neighbors in New York City), I now know a lot about Savannah." The pair has been able to celebrate weddings and the arrival of kids together. They've also been able to match on Halloween -- hello mom jeans -- and co-host together on Today. "She's one of my closest friends. We exercise together -- well, we try to exercise," Savannah previously shared with E! News' Jason Kennedy. "Most of the time, we just talk but it's so fun to go to a place where it's intense and all-consuming yet you are with people that you love and truly enjoy." She continued, "You know Jenna's daughter Poppy has the same birthday as my daughter Vale one year apart? It's really funny. I look out Vale's window across the courtyard and I look into Jenna's bedroom. She tries to keep the shades drawn. Hey, get those binoculars out of there. Freak." All jokes aside, when it was time for Savannah to celebrate five years on Today, Jenna was the first to praise her not-so-average co-worker in a personal letter. "I know Savannah leads with the heart. She lights up when she's with her kids. She loves her husband Mike, adores her mom, sister and brother, and she loves her friends. (How lucky am I to be one of them?)" she wrote. "Most importantly, I know how important Savannah's faith is to her. We go to the same church and I have seen her unwavering faith in action. Savannah loves her work, but she doesn't live for her work. She lives guided by her faith for her family -- for Vale and Charley, for Mike and for her friends that she makes feel like family." The respect is felt on both sides of the friendship scale. Savannah credits Jenna for helping her get through parenting hurdles such as where to find the best doctors, schools and facilities in their neck of the woods. "She's my mom guru. She had Mila before I had Vale and we're neighbors so I just ask, 'Who's our pediatrician? Where do we go to the dentist? What school should we go to?' Whatever Jenna does, I just draft behind it," Savannah recently shared with us while supporting her new children's book Princesses Wear Pants. "She's already done all the research so I just go with whatever she did. It's working out so far really well." In between parenting duties, these two also know how to have some fun. Both admit to being madly in love with Lin-Manuel Miranda, taquitos and queso. And even though Savannah prefers to leave parties by 7 p.m. in order to wake up at 3 a.m., Jenna knows she has found a great dance partner and someone very special. "Sometimes, as I watch our daughters play like sisters or when we spend an entire car ride talking about life so rapidly that we barely breathe, I can't believe Savannah and I are new friends, that our friendship just started only five years ago," the Sisters First author wrote in her letter. "And then I'm grateful that this job brought us together." Today airs weekday mornings at 7 a.m. only on NBC. (Eonline)

Gemma Collins Feels Like "Bridget Jones" After Falling Onstage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. Ouch. That must have hurt. British reality TV star Gemma Collins took quite a tumble Sunday and fell through the stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards. Collins had just finished announcing the winner for Best TV Show at Wembley Stadium when she slipped through an opening in the stage. The Only Way Is Essex star posted the whole incident on Instagram. Thankfully, Collins was OK. The TV personality posted another video letting fans know that she survived the "best and worst moment of her life." "I'm alive. Don't panic," she said at one point in the video. "I'm such a Bridget Jones at heart. I've always watched her movies and thought, God this girl is me. I'm at Wembley Stadium presenting an award, and I go missing on the stage, but I'm alive guys... Will I ever live this moment down? O.M.G. Help." Despite her tumble, it looks like Collins enjoyed her night. She appeared back on stage after the fall where she told hosts Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora that she was having "the best time of my life." The TV star had a good sense of humor about her spill, too. Shortly after the incident, she posted a video montage of Madonna and Beyonce falling on stage. She also posted the number for the National Accident Helpline, as well as a fake movie poster for Bridget Jones in which she replaced Renee Zellweger's face with her own. In the end, it looks like her selfie with Ora made the whole thing worthwhile -- even though the TV star confessed that she was in "agony." We hope Collins feels better. (Eonline)

DJ Khaled Threw His Son a 1st Birthday Party That's Bigger and Better Than Any You'll Ever Have. Welcome to the jungle -- the baby jungle! Let's get real, DJ Khaled's son Asahd Khaled has had a charmed 12 months on this planet, so it's no surprise to see that his first birthday was pretty extravagant, by any celeb standards. On Saturday, the major key music man threw a majorly lavish birthday bash for his 1-year-old and he pulled out all the stops, throwing the jungle-themed baby rager at Miami's hottest nightclub, LIV at Fountainebleu Miami Beach. "Miami's No. 1 nightclub" was transformed into "dayclub" playground equipped with wild greenery, real tigers and check this: it was hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Needless to say, this party was not messing around! Oh but those aren't the only wild thoughts happening at the wild party for the "baby mogul," who basically stole the show at the 2017 VMAs in his $2K suit. During the fete, which was presented by Tot Living by Haute Living, Asahd sat upon his throne as King of the Jungle. There were live dancers, who were dressed as jungle animals and there was a jungle-themed photo booth. Oh and in case there were any on-the-go babies, there was an area called the "baby valet" station, where the kiddos could take a test drive and "drive" around in toy luxury automobiles. Attendees included model Karolina Kurkova her son, reality TV star Jonathan Cheban, Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein, Fat Joe's wife Lorena Cartagena and daughter, the owner of LIV David Grutman, and more. The guests and their kids partied the day away by dancing in the jungle with the famous father-son duo, who donned matching outfits, as per usual. Of course, the event wasn't just about celebrating, it was also about giving back. Khaled asked that donations be made to UNICEF. Fun fact: the lux party was thrown by the same wedding planner that threw Gucci Mane's headline-making wedding earlier in the week. Talk about a busy week! (Eonline)

Justin Bieber's Tattoo Artist Bang Bang Reveals Meaning Behind New Torso Ink. Justin Bieber shocked fans on Saturday when he debuted a massive torso tattoo that incorporated existing smaller designs. Bang Bang, the tattoo artist who gave the singer his new ink, talked to E! News exclusively about the meaning behind it. The tattoo took three days to create and was done in Beverly Hills. "We added two angels, one on each side," he said. "Below each one, they're dominating the evil. Whenever I do an epic piece, there needs to be the positive and negative. There needs to be a balance...visually there needs to be contrast. Below each of the angels, there is a demon that needs to be defeated. The skeleton on one side and the serpent on the other." "It's symbolic of Gothic art and the struggle between the light and dark, the good and the evil, Yin and Yang," he said. "I wanted to make sure we had contrast in subject matter and imagery. The thing that made the most sense to me was a tattoo describing his spirituality. The animals he has, his spirit animals as well as the angels, his guardians. I was trying to make it super meaningful and not scattered." Bang Bang said Justin texted him about getting new ink. "He said he has a mustache on his belly, referring to the eagle, and it just needed more around it so it wasn't so isolated and floating in the middle of his stomach," the tattoo artist said, laughing. "I don't know why he thought it looked like a mustache. Maybe one of his friends told him that." Bang Bang said Bieber didn't know what was planned beforehand. "He said he wanted me to cover his front, so I sent him a bunch of options," he said. "They were all religious in subject. I explained to him that the whole front should be one idea. I didn't actually cover anything. There are no cover ups." Bang Bang said he worked on the design for three weeks. Inking it on Bieber took three days. During that time, Bieber was accompanied by a friend. On the last day, more of his pals came and they all had a Nerf Ball fight with the tattoo artist during a break. Bieber also periodically sent photos of his tattoo-in-progress to family and friends, who gave him good feedback. "Everyone was really stoked about it," Bang Bang said. He said that while he was tattooing Bieber, the two "talked about life." "We talked about growing up," he added. "We talked about people and their perceptions. How changes in life and people all come like seasons. We also talked about just figuring it out. I've known Justin for a long time and I've got to see this talented world famous iconic young man grow up. And same for me. When he met me, I was younger and we were in different spots in life. And it's cool to see how we've grown." And Bieber is in no way done with tattoos. "I'm coming back soon," Bang Bang said, laughing. "I did the bottom half of his front but still need to do the top." Classixx are Suing H&M for Copyright Infringement. L.A. house duo Classixx are suing H&M for copyright infringement. The international retailer has reportedly been selling sweaters with the word "Classixx" stitched across the front without the band's permission, as Stereogum recently pointed out. Operating on behalf their company Hush Hush Sound, Inc., the duo filed a copyright infringement complaint in the U.S. District Court in the Central District of California this Thursday. A representative for Classixx has shared that though they deny any wrongdoing, H&M were "aware" of the act's use of the name, as their music has been in regular rotation in H&M retail shops throughout the world. H&M later added: "the use of a word as a decorative feature on an article of clothing is not trademark use." In a statement shared with Pitchfork, the band's attorney noted that the retailer has "denied any liability," "threatened Classixx with claims for costs and attorneys' fees," and -- maybe most insulting of all -- "referred to the band as a 'relatively unknown DJ duo.'" Read their statement in full below. Our client attempted to resolve this amicably with H&M before going to court. But, despite H&M's blatant infringement of Classixx's trademark and publicity rights, it denied any liability, threatened Classixx with claims for costs and attorneys' fees, and insultingly referred to the band as a "relatively unknown DJ duo." Clearly, H&M, which has been known to broadcast Classixx music in its stores, is no friend to the artist. For H&M to profit by marketing and selling without consent "Classixx"-branded apparel at its stores around the world is bad, but responding in the manner it did is even worse. The band looks forward to their day in court. (Billboard)

Veruca Salt's Louise Post Among Dozens Of Women Accusing Director James Toback Of Sexual Harassment. Following the very public outing of Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator, more and more women have stepped forward to share their own stories of harassment and assault at the hands of other men in the film industry. One of those men is director James Toback, who was nominated for the Academy Award For Best Original Screenplay in 1991 for the Warren Beatty film Bugsy and who now stands accused of sexual harassment by nearly 40 women. Toback's skeeviness has been well documented going back all the way to a 1989 expose in Spy magazine, but a new report in The Los Angeles Times details the full extent of his behavior. Toback would approach women, tell them he was a famous director, and invite them to meet privately to discuss a role in one of his films; if they agreed, he would begin to ask them about their sexual habits, demand that they undress, rub himself against them, and masturbate in front of them. One of the 38 women who described a similar encounter with the director was Veruca Salt's Louise Post, who met Toback in 1987 when she was a student at Barnard College. "He told me he'd love nothing more than to masturbate while looking into my eyes," she said. "Going to his apartment has been the source of shame for the past 30 years, that I allowed myself to be so gullible. Today, I cried for the first time since then about it. I was crying for the 20-year-old woman who lost something vital that day -- her innocence." When contacted by The Times, Toback denied the allegations, saying that he had either never met any of the women in question, or if he did, it "was for five minutes and I have no recollection." Pink's 'Beautiful Trauma' Opens at No. 1 on Australia's Albums Chart. Pink rules Australia's albums chart this week with Beautiful Trauma (RCA/Sony), her fifth No. 1 in these parts, while Post Malone's "Rockstar" (Republic/Universal) featuring 21 Savage enters a fourth consecutive week at the summit of the national singles survey. With Beautiful Trauma, Pink has a global hit. The album, her first in five years, opened at No. 1 in the U.S. with a bigger-than-expected 408,000 equivalent album units for 2017's largest week for an album by a woman. It's also new at No. 1 in the U.K.. In Australia, Pink seems to smash records at will. She previously topped the ARIA Albums Chart with I'm Not Dead (October 2006), Funhouse (November 2008), Greatest Hits...So Far!!! (November 2010) and The Truth About Love (November 2012). All told, she has shifted 3.6 million units with her Australian concert DVD sales in excess of 1.16 million units, according to Sony Music. Beautiful Trauma opens with double platinum certification. Expect the album to settle in for a long stay in the chart. Tickets went on sale last Friday for her 2018 arena tour of Australia, which has grown to 30 dates. The last time she set out on the road Down Under was her 2013 The Truth About Love tour, a sold-out 46 show trek which saw Pink perform to more than 600,000 fans, a record for a solo female artist. Beautiful Trauma opens ahead of a pair of former chart-toppers, Ed Sheeran's five-times platinum Divide (Warner) and Triple J's various artists compilation Like A Version 13 (ABC/UMA), while Jessica Mauboy's The Secret Daughter Season Two (Songs From The Original 7 Series via Sony) slips 2-4 and Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile's critically acclaimed collaborative set Lotta Sea Lice opens at No. 5. There are top 20 debuts this week for Beck (Colors at No. 14 via Capitol/EMI), Robert Plant (Carry Fire at No. 16 via NONE/Warner) and St Vincent (Masseduction at No. 19 via Caroline/UMA). The follow-up to Lullaby And... The Ceaseless Roar (which peaked at No. 22 in September 2014), Carry Fire is Plant's 12th post-Led Zeppelin LP to crack the ARIA top 50. Meanwhile, new releases from Gucci Mane (Mr. Davis via Atlantic/Warner) and Pink Floyd's David Gilmour (Live At Pompeii at No. 50 via Columbia/Sony) sneak into the chart. With Post Malone locking up the ARIA Singles Chart title, Camila Cabello is denied top spot once more with "Havana" (Epic/Sony) featuring Young Thug. In third place, improving one position, is Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" (Atlantic/Warner), which becomes the English singer-songwriters' eighth top three single on the Australian chart. The top five is completed by Macklemore's "Glorious" (ADA/Warner) featuring Skylar Grey, and Pink's "What About Us." Pink also scores the week's highest debut for a single, with her Eminem-featured track "Revenge" which bows at No. 21 and is one of the U.S. pop star's four tracks on the current tally. (Billboard)

Harry Styles Was Grabbed in the Crotch During a Concert (and His Fans Aren't Happy). Harry Styles was subjected to some pretty invasive behavior when he performed Saturday night (Oct. 21) at the Hollywood Bowl. And his fans are furious about it, with many calling it out as "sexual assault." The pop star apparently got groped when he got up close to the audience at the We Can Survive show, an all-star benefit concert for breast cancer awareness. Footage from the floor shows a flurry of hands reaching out and probing the former One Direction star. One rogue hand seems to grab at his crotch, at which point Styles turns his back and rejoins the band. Styles hasn't responded to the incident, but many are weighing in on social media. Messages of sympathy and solidarity are pouring in with hundreds adopting the hashtag #RespectHarry, which is snowballing on Twitter. "#RespectHarry Protect and respect this man at all cost remember he is human not an object, what happened has disgusted me," wrote user @wizzardbank. Another, Luke Waltham?, said: "Public Service Announcement: Celebrities are human beings. Harry Styles is a human being. He is not a sexual object." "I swear to God, I am disgusted to bits. Whoever groped Harry, u should be ashamed of yourself. It was gross and out of place," wrote @flickernat. The incident follows a flood of sexual assault claims leveled against Harvey Weinstein and fresh allegations against director James Toback. In recent days, thousands of women and men have shared their personal stories as the hashtag #MeToo became a call to action for anyone who has experienced sexual assault and harassment. (Billboard)

Renee Zellweger Cast in Judy Garland Biopic Judy. Renee Zellweger will play Judy Garland in Judy, based on the actress' final concerts in London. Pathe and Calamity Films are backing the project, based on a script by Tom Edge (The Crown). Rupert Goold (King Charles III) will direct the movie, and production will start in February 2018. Set in London in 1968, nearly 30 years after The Wizard of Oz made her an international movie star, the biopic follows Garland as she prepares for her sold-out show, The Talk of the Town (featuring classics like "Over the Rainbow" and "The Trolley Song"). Behind the scenes, Garland fights with management, feeling overworked after a lifetime spent in show business. Missing her children, she even contemplates walking away from the stage. Meanwhile, she settles into her romance with entrepreneur and musician Mickey Deans (whom she marries months later). According to producers, the film will feature some of Garland's most popular songs. BAFTA winner David Livingstone will produce Judy for Calamity Films. Pathe will distribute Judy in France, Switzerland and the U.K. and will also handle global sales. Garland -- who died of a barbiturate overdose in 1969 -- has been the subject of several made-for-TV movies over the years; Andrea McArdle played her in NBC's Rainbow (1978), Tammy Blanchard and Judy Davis played her in ABC's Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows (2001), and Sigrid Thornton played her in Seven's Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door (2015). Judy marks a musical comeback of sorts for Zellweger, who received an Academy Award nomination for her leading role as Roxie Hart in 2002 film adaptation of the Broadway musical Chicago. Her latest drama, Same Kind of Different as Me, debuted Oct. 20, earning $2.6 million. (Eonline)

Woody Allen's upcoming movie contains some awkward scenes involving an older man having sex with young starlets, considering the current firestorm about sexual misconduct sparked by the Harvey Weinstein scandal. We're told that a plotline in the untitled Allen flick, which is currently filming in New York, centers around a middle-aged man who is sleeping with a much younger woman, among other actresses, and, according to the script, "makes a fool of himself over every ambitious starlet and model." In scenes just filmed, a character played by Rebecca Hall accuses 44-year-old actor Jude Law's character of having sex with a 15-year-old "concubine." In the scene, the so-called concubine -- played by Elle Fanning (19 in real life) -- acknowledges her relationship with Law's much-older character, but then protests that she is 21 years old. After a discussion about his infidelity, Fanning's character then asks Law, "Were all these women for pleasure, or were you researching a project?" The film also stars Selena Gomez, Liev Schreiber, Suki Waterhouse and Kelly Rohrbach. The plot seems perversely timed, given the mounting allegations of sexual harassment and rape against Weinstein. In a further poignant play -- since Allen has faced his own allegations of sexual misconduct (which he has strenuously denied) -- the director himself recently became entangled in the Weinstein scandal. Last week, he drew criticism when he said that it was "tragic for the poor women that were involved" and "sad for Harvey that his life is so messed up," but warned against starting a "witch-hunt atmosphere" in Hollywood, where "every guy in an -- office who winks at a woman is suddenly having to call a lawyer to defend himself." This is all very close to home for Allen. His son Ronan Farrow was the journalist behind the New Yorker's explosive Weinstein expose. Allen later released a statement saying of his strange comment, "When I said I felt sad for Harvey Weinstein, I thought it was clear the meaning was because he is a sad, sick man." Allen reps didn't respond. (Page Six)

Russia Braces for Violent Protests as Controversial Film About Last Tsar Set to Open. 'Matilda' tells the story of an affair between Nicholas II and an actress and the movie's premise has already led religious extremists to carry out a firebomb attack against the director Alexei Uchitel. A controversial film that tells the story of an affair between a beautiful ballerina and Russia's last emperor is due to be released Thursday after months of protest. Matilda, by award-winning director Alexei Uchitel, has attracted the ire of the Russian Orthodox Church and nationalist extremists, angered by the depiction of a man they consider a saint. The Russia-wide release on more than 1,000 screens is likely to reignite tensions after months of protests that have included the firebombing of Uchitel's St Petersburg offices, attacks on cinemas and a billboard poster campaign by the church emphasizing the love between Tsar Nicholas II and his German princess wife. Russia's interior ministry has said it is braced to maintain order during the period Matilda is on release but has not specified if extra police will be deployed at movie theaters. Uchitel - who has welcomed billboard campaign, if not the more violent protests - stresses the film examines an affair with a ballerina, Matilda Kshesinskaya, which took place before the tsar's marriage in 1894 to Alix of Hesse. He says the last third of the film is devoted to their love and ends with a caption stating that they had lived happily together for nearly a quarter of a century. The couple, along with their children, were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918 while in detention in a house in Ekaterinburg. After their remains were exhumed and verified by genetic analysis in the late 1990s, in 2000 the Orthodox Church declared Nicholas a saint. The last tsar has since become a potent symbol for nationalists and Orthodox-believers and critical appraisals of a man viewed at the time as a weak and indecisive leader attract violent opposition. Although only trailers of the film have so far been released, cinemas that plan to show the film have been attacked and last month Molotov cocktails were lobbed through the windows of Uchitel's St Petersburg office. No one was injured. Earlier this month the Orthodox church paid for more than 300 billboard posters displaying "words about love" exchanged between the imperial couple were put up at prominent sites around Moscow. Thursday's release of the film at cinemas in Moscow, St Petersburg and across Russia could present a fresh flashpoint for protestors. The controversy around the movie began last year when Natalia Poklonskaya, an MP and former general prosecutor of Crimea, a region annexed by Russia in 2014, accused the movie- which wasn't even completed at that time-of portraying Nicholas in a negative light. Her view - shared by many conservatives and Orthodox believers in Russia was that the portrayal of the tsar as having an affair with a ballerina was sacrilegious. In the past 10 months, Poklonskaya has submitted 43 requests to the Russian prosecutor's office, calling for a probe into the legitimacy of the film's funding - which included state money - and the issuance of an exhibition license. On Monday, the prosecutor office said it saw no grounds for a probe into the movie. The film's distributor Karoprokat, has complained that major TV networks, including Channel One and NTV, have canceled their contracts for running Matilda ads. The country's two largest cinema chains, Cinema Park and Formula Kino, said earlier this month that they would not exhibit the movie following threats from protesters but later reconsidered their decision, saying law enforcers had been able to stop a flow of threats against theaters. No foreign sales deals regarding Matilda have been announced so far. (Hollywood Reporter)

Renee Zellweger to Play Judy Garland in Drama From 'The Crown' Scribe. 'Judy' is based on the Hollywood icon's final concerts in London in 1968, with Pathe selling internationally. Bridget Jones star Renee Zellweger is set to play Judy Garland in Judy, based on the true story of the stage and screen icon's final concerts in London. Pathe and Calamity Films are backing the project, based on a script by Tom Edge (The Crown, Lovesick) and to be directed by Tony nominee and two-time Olivier winner Rupert Goold, with production set to start February 2018. BAFTA winner David Livingstone (Pride) will produce for Calamity Films. Judy will chronicle Garland's arrival in swinging 1968 London to perform in a series of sellout shows. It has been 30 years since "the world's greatest entertainer" shot to global fame in The Wizard of Oz and as she prepares for the concerts, she battles with management, charms musicians and reminisces with friends and adoring fans, while also embarking on a courtship with Mickey Dean, her soon-to-be fifth husband. Yet Garland is also fragile, and having spent 45 of her 47 years working, is haunted by memories of a childhood lost to Hollywood and a desire to be back home with her kids. Pathe will distribute Judy in the U.K., France and Switzerland and will handle sales throughout the rest of the world. (Hollywood Reporter)

James Toback's Agent No Longer Representing Him. The director, who has been accused of sexual harassment by over 40 women, is no longer represented by Jeff Berg. James Toback is no longer being represented by his agent Jeff Berg, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Berg is the chairman of Northside Services; the agency represents directors Roman Polanski and Paul Schrader. (Berg previously was ICM chief before launching his own agency, Resolution, which folded in 2014 after less than two years.) Berg confirmed to THR he no longer represents Toback but did not say when the representation ended. On Sunday, the Los Angeles Times reported that 38 women had come forward to accuse Toback of sexual harassment and misconduct, allegations that span decades. Toback, who helmed the films Black and White (1999) and Two Girls and a Guy (1998) and was nominated for an Oscar for writing the Warren Beatty film Bugsy (1991), used his status as a director to lure the women into auditions, meetings and interviews that would quickly turn sexual, according to the Times report. Toback, 72, denied the allegations by the women, 31 of whom went on the record with their accusations to the Times, saying that he had never met any of these women, and if he had, "it was for five minutes." He also claimed it was "biologically impossible" for him to engage in the behavior described, saying he had diabetes and a heart condition that required medication. Many of the women's accounts describe similar circumstances, with Toback luring a young or aspiring actress into a meeting and then proceeding to use very graphic sexual language under the guise of describing a role or film before engaging in some sort of masturbation. Toback's first notable film was 1987's The Pick-up Artist, starring Robert Downey Jr., who would go on to star in two other films written and directed by Toback. His most recent film, The Private Life of a Modern Woman, starring Sienna Miller, premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September. Polanski, Berg's most high-profile client, is again under scrutiny following the bombshell New York Times and New Yorker reports alleging decades of sexual harassment and assault by producer Harvey Weinstein and subsequently the Los Angeles Times report on Toback. Last week, artist Marianne Barnard came forward with allegations that Polanski molested her when she was 10 years old. The alleged incident took place in 1975, two years before the director fled the United States after pleading guilty to statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl. (Hollywood Reporter)

George Clooney on Slew of Sexual Harassment Stories: "This Is a Watershed Moment for Society". "I really do believe there is going to be major change," adds his 'Surburbicon' star Matt Damon at the film's Los Angeles premiere. Since the New York Times published an explosive expose on the disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein on Oct. 5, more and more victims of sexual harassment have been encouraged to speak out. Stars Jessica Chastain, Brie Larson, Patricia Arquette, Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen also have all spoken out in one way or another. Whether it's the use of social media including Alyssa Milano's #MeToo campaign, an interview setting or a premiere event to promote their latest project, staying silent has not been an option. On Sunday, at the premiere of his latest directorial foray, Suburbicon, George Clooney once again added his voice to the debate that is roiling Hollywood. "What we hope is this is a watershed moment for society where women feel safe enough to talk about this issue, feel believed and where men who are committing these crimes [and] violations don't feel safe and feel as if they do these things they're going to be outed, sued and may even get litigated and go to jail for it," Clooney tells reporters about the recent wave of sexual harassment allegations made public against Weinstein and others, including former Amazon chief Roy Price and director James Toback. Adding, "If we can get to that point then we actually succeeded. This thing won't end up just being Harvey Weinstein jokes in three months." Clooney also spoke out against Woody Allen, who told the BBC that since the allegations against Weinstein have been made public Hollywood has created a "witch hunt atmosphere." "That's a stupid thing to say," says Clooney. Adding, "The reality is it's not a witch hunt to these women who were trapped in a hotel room and told they were going to get a part and then suddenly here comes Harvey Weinstein in his birthday suit. That's an assault. It's not just Hollywood it's all of society and we're going to have to come to terms with it because we haven't yet." Clooney continues saying, "It's infuriating and it's also infuriating when I read stories about reporters who did investigations and didn't print it for 10 years. Then you go, 'Why didn't you print that story? I would have liked to [have] seen it. And I would like to know who brought actresses up to Harvey Weinstein's room and then left. I'd like to know that.'" His longtime friend and star of the film, Matt Damon, remains optimistic about how these stories can bring change. Says the actor, "I really do believe there is going to be major change. There won't be this type of behavior anymore." Damon hopes victims of these crimes speak out worldwide and not just in Hollywood. Adding, "To me, the message is that if somebody as powerful as Harvey can be brought down by this what we need is for it to filter all the way down to somebody who is a single mom and a waitress who is getting harassed while she's punching out [of work] and she's afraid to speak up because she's going to lose her job and she needs her job. What we need is for her to be able to say, 'I'm allowed to speak up because this is wrong.' That's hopefully where this is going." Damon also pointed out the power of social media being used as a tool for victims to come forward against their abusers. Says Damon, "Social media has been great in the sense that these really brave women who stepped up first and who took that chance and made their voices heard allowed all of these other women to understand they're not alone. It's turning into this avalanche and that's what's needed." As for what he hopes to do to be a part of the "major change," Damon quips, "I've been in the business for 20 years. I know a lot of great men in this business and men who don't use their power in that way. I like to feel that I've always done that and that women have always felt safe in the environments I've worked in and the men that I've worked with, the George Clooneys and the Steven Soderberghs [where] the workplace is sacred and valued and equal and fair." Adding, "Everybody's got a new awareness about it now." (Hollywood Reporter)

Sophia Bush has set the record straight on why she left Chicago P.D. at the end of the fourth season. On Saturday, Bush, 35, posted a screenshot of an article from The Hollywood Reporter about the talent and development deal she had reached with 20th Century Fox TV. The deal calls for Bush to star in an upcoming pilot and gives her the power to develop additional projects as an executive producer. Bush captioned the photo, "To quote one of my favorite pieces of street art... 'Don't call me a 'boss b -- -.' Call me the boss, b -- -.' I could not be more proud of more excited to put on my executive producer cap and get to work @20thcentury fox #TheDreamIsFree #The HustleIsSoldSeparately." Responding to a comment under the post which speculated over whether Bush's exit from Chicago P.D. had been voluntary, the actress replied, "Took me a long time and a lot of hard work to get out of that show. Please don't demean my capabilities by degrading my position. I left because I wanted to. End of story." News of Bush's departure as Detective Erin Lindsay broke following the season 4 finale in May. The season ended as Bush's Detective Lindsay stared wistfully at the Chicago skyline, having just accepted a job offer with the FBI in New York City. In August, one of the show's executive producers Dick Wolf spoke about Bush's departure saying that "she wanted to leave." Bush had said of her deal with 20th Century Fox that "now more than ever, vital female voices need to be heard. I'm thrilled to begin developing content that inspires and excites me." (People)

The Walking Dead's Season 8 Premiere Just Introduced a New Mystery and We're Not Sure What to Make of It. Warning: The following contains spoilers about the season eight premiere of The Walking Dead. If you haven't watched yet, you may want to bookmark this page and return once you have. Proceed with caution. War has come to The Walking Dead. After promising to take the fight to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his coalition did just that in the season eight premiere, the show's 100th episode. And this being TWD, it took an entire episode to get going, while we watched the combined members of Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Kingdom prepare for what will surely be the bloodiest battle this show has ever been. So yeah, it all went pretty much as expected: The team figured out how to steer a massive horde of walkers towards the Sanctuary, scumbag Gregory (Xander Berkeley) turned out to have ran to Negan once the Hilltop decided they liked how Maggie (Lauren Cohan) did things a bit better, the coalition shot out all the windows on the Sanctuary, making enough noise to lure the walkers right to it, and when Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) foolishly got out of his walker-proof car to save the weasel, Gregory left him for dead. That'll teach you to never save a traitor. The war has begun, but we'll have to wait for next week to see how Negan retaliates now that he's got Gabriel as leverage. (Because, let's be real, he's not dying just yet.) Until then, we'll be sitting over here wondering what the hell was going on in those strange scenes peppered throughout the premiere with a much-older looking Rick. As teased in the first season eight promo, the premiere opened with Elder Rick waking up in a bed to the sounds of Weird Al Yankovic's Queen parody, "Another One Rides the Bus." (No, we're not kidding.) As we saw more of this interesting morning in Rick's future, we learned Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) are living in the house with him and we met a considerably older Judith. (Seriously, she was about five and talking.) There was talk of a celebration, a giant owl had been erected in the community's garden for the occasion, and we were seriously confused. Every time the show cut to one of these scenes, the moment began with a much younger Rick in what appeared to be in a terrified, exhausted state. Is this future just the fantasy of a man running out of time? Or is it something more? Fans of the comic books may have some idea of where this is all heading. We won't spoil it for you here on the off chance we're right, but check out Vol. 22 of the series if you're curious and don't mind potentially being spoiled. (One hint: It's not called "A New Beginning" for nothing.) And if you're not interested in checking it out, we'll be right here with you, piecing the clues together as season eight progresses. The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC. (Eonline)
