Pre construction survey for Interstate 17 projects at Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads open until Oct. 30

A reminder from the Arizona Department of Transportation: You have one more week to complete a survey about ways to reduce the impacts of upcoming interchange construction at Interstate 17 and Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads.

ADOT is scheduled to start the reconstruction of both interchanges in 2018, but is seeking input now from people who live, work and drive in the project area.

Although construction is about a year away, the project team is currently working to develop construction schedules. Residents, businesses and others in the project area should complete an online survey by Oct. 30, 2017 to provide input for the project team’s consideration before this phase of project planning is complete.

Two online surveys are available at azdot.gov/I17TrafficInterchanges. One survey is for residents. The other is for businesses and other non-residential locations.

ADOT has received responses from more than 500 residents and businesses since the surveys began October 2.

While ADOT cannot guarantee an impact-free schedule, the agency is committed to finding ways to accommodate the community’s needs and requests whenever and wherever it can.

Learn more about the project at azdot.gov/I17TrafficInterchanges. For questions or comments, or if you are unable to complete the survey online, call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov.
