Sunday’s triathlon requires Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramp restrictions in the East Valley

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramp restrictions and closures that will be in place from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, for a triathlon:

The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Priest Drive will be closed. Priest Drive traffic will be restricted to north- or southbound travel only at Loop 202.

Loop 202 off-ramps at Scottsdale Road will be limited to northbound turns only (no access to southbound Scottsdale Road).
The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at McClintock Drive and westbound off-ramp at Center Parkway will be closed. Consider using other nearby exits.

Please allow extra travel time and plan your travel route in advance to avoid delays.

For real-time highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
