Closure scheduled at San Joaquin Road between State Route 86 (Ajo Way) and Old Ajo Highway

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises Tucson-area drivers to plan for the following closure as work to widen and improve SR 86 between Valencia and Kinney roads continues:
San Joaquin Road will be closed from SR 86 (Ajo Way) to Old Ajo Highway from Wednesday, Nov. 8,through Saturday, Dec. 2.
Drivers can use Camino Verde and Old Ajo Highway as alternate routes.

The $40 million project is expected to be complete in summer 2018. Learn more on the project web site.
