Pioneer Road in north Phoenix closed at Interstate 17 Tuesday, Nov. 7

Use Daisy Mountain Drive instead

Drivers who use Pioneer Road at Interstate 17 (Black Canyon Freeway) in north Phoenix should plan to use an alternate route and allow extra travel time Tuesday while the Arizona Department of Transportation completes guardrail repairs.

East- and westbound Pioneer Road will be closed at I-17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Detour: Use Daisy Mountain Drive.

North- and southbound I-17 will remain open, as will and the on- and off-ramps at I-17 and Pioneer Road.
