Plan for lane restrictions on Interstate 10 at Wilmot Road in Tucson

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following restrictions on I-10 at Wilmot Road for median work in Tucson:
Eastbound and westbound I-10 at Wilmot Road will be reduced to one lane (left lane will be closed) from 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8. There will be a 14-foot width restriction in place. Vehicles wider than 14 feet must use the frontage roads between Valencia and Kolb roads.
Eastbound and westbound I-10 at Wilmot Road will be reduced to one lane (alternating lanes) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, Tuesday, Jan. 9 and Wednesday, Jan. 10. There will be a 12-foot width restriction in place. Vehicles wider than 12 feet must use the frontage roads between Valencia and Kolb roads.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
