Removal of traffic signal light at the intersection of State Route 90 and Buffalo Soldier Trail in Sierra Vista scheduled for April 3

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be removing the existing traffic signal light poles to rewire to the new signal light at the intersection of Buffalo Soldier Trail and SR 90 (Hatfield Street - milepost 316) in Sierra Vista.
The intersection will be intermittently closed for up to 15 minutes at a time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3. Officers will be on site to direct traffic as needed.
The pedestrian signal will be out of service for approximately two months while the contractor works on the intersection. Signs will be posted to indicate no pedestrian crossing at the intersection.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment. For more information visit www.azdot.gov/SR90Buffalo.
