As anyone who follows her on Instagram knows, Busy Philipps is an avid exerciser, hitting her favorite workout class LEKfit as much as possible -- ideally seven days a week. But the actress isn't doing it to lose weight. Philipps, who is fully open about her battles with anxiety, said her devotion to the class is largely for her mental health. "For me, getting the endorphins and the sweat every morning is part of what I think helps me keep [my anxiety] in check," she told Health for their July/August issue, on newsstands June 15. Anxiety is something that Philipps has dealt with since she was a child, and she's always looking for different ways to work through it. "I grew up in a family where mental health issues are ... we've got 'em! I've had that since I was a kid -- racing thoughts, unable to get control of my thoughts, spinning out into paralysis of not being able to do anything and crying hysterically about it, or just feeling totally helpless," she said. "I've also done acupuncture for it; the infrared sauna helps, and the CBD and THC gummies, which I'm a very strong proponent of now." Another way Philipps keeps her anxiety in check is by stepping away from the scale. "I stopped weighing myself almost two years ago, because I noticed that it was giving me anxiety and really affecting my mood," she said. "If you are somebody who wants to make a life change and that scale gets you the motivation of, like, 'Yes, I got down two lbs. this week!' I for sure get that. But for me, just being stable in my body has helped me a lot." The mom of two added that she doesn't always want to go to the gym -- and sometimes skips it -- but she knows that she'll feel better if she does. "I work out seven days most weeks, but I'm also not hard on myself. If I wake up and I'm exhausted and I can't f -- -- do it, then I'll give myself a break. I also think there's a point where I know to push through, 'cause I'll feel better after I do it," Philipps said. "The best thing you can do if you're hungover is work out, and then you feel 100 percent better -- even if you're still drunk when you get on the SoulCycle bike." (People)

Chad Michael Murray Responds After Sophia Bush Says She Never Wanted to Marry Him. Chad Michael Murray is speaking out after his ex-wife and former One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush said she never actually wanted to marry him. The 35-year-old actress and 36-year-old actor met on the set of the hit teen drama series and wed in 2005, less than a year after getting engaged. Five months later, it was revealed the two had split. They divorced in 2006. On Wednesday, she told Andy Cohen on his Radio Andy Sirius XM show that marrying Murray was "not a thing I actually really wanted to do" and signaled that she felt pressured into tying the knot. Murray's rep told People on Thursday that "the story is ludicrous" and that "Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love." During the interview, Cohen asked Bush, "How do you get to the point of being, like, talked into" marrying Murray, to which she replied, "Because how do you let everybody down...And how do you- what's the fight and when you have bosses telling you that you're the only person who gets a person to work on time and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don't because our days start on time." Bush later tweeted, "If it wasn't clear, I was making fun of MYSELF...And if all the years that have passed haven't made it WILDLY clear that we're all grownups who've become the best versions of ourselves, then I just don't know what to say. And PS, if my teasing MYSELF on the radio today -- for my past -- hurt anyone's feelings, I am sorry." She also wrote on Instagram Stories, "My lesser self would have been up having an anxiety attack all night from this bulls--t. My higher self-had cocktails with friends and reclaimed this amazing week, the joy of crossing items off my bucket list, and ALL MY TIME." It was announced in 2015 that Murray married his second wife, his Chosen co-star Sarah Roemer. They share a son and daughter. "Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children," the actor's rep told People. "He has completely moved on and doesn't feel the need to engage in this type of behavior." (Eonline)

Millie Bobby Brown Leaves Twitter After Trolls Turn Her Into a Homophobic Meme. Millie Bobby Brown abandoned her Twitter account, @MillieBBrown, on Wednesday. The move came shortly after the Stranger Things star was the subject of homophobic memes on the social network. The actress shared a video of herself on Instagram that same day and captioned it "good vibes only." Brown had been active on social media, so the move surprised many of her fans. While @MillieBBrown is no longer active, there is a verified Millie Bobby Brown account with the handle @MillieStopsHate. However, the last tweet shared by the account was on Dec. 12, 2017. Looking good! Kevin Smith updated fans on his health and revealed that he's close to his goal of losing 50 lbs since suffering a heart attack in February. "Today, I am down a total of 43 pounds! Only 7 more pounds until I've shed the 50 my doctor told me to lose following the heart attack," the Weight Watchers ambassador, 47, captioned an Instagram pic on Wednesday, June 13, crediting magician Penn Jillette and Ray Cronise for kickstarting his weight loss, and Weight Watchers for helping him slim down. "This #wwambassador is now at the absolute thinnest I've been since I finished high school! And while I may look a little better, I FEEL f -- king fantastic! It'll be a few weeks, but I'm ready to lose that final 7 points! And when I hit my goal, I'll let you know where I started." Smith made headlines in February after revealing that he experienced a "massive" heart attack backstage at an L.A. comedy show. He recently showed off his weight loss in May, telling his 1.2 million Instagram followers that he's lost 32 lbs. since the traumatic experience. The filmmaker previously opened up about his weight loss journey exclusively to Us Weekly back in April. "For me, food was not like fuel. It wasn't, like, you eat food because it powers your body and you move on," he said at the time. "I'm an American who grew up in the '70s when America figured out, if we start putting more sugar in everything, they'll buy it. So sugar starts showing up in the bread and everything." Smith added that he didn't think he was having a heart attack when it happened, given that he lost 85 lbs. three years ago after cutting sugar out of his diet entirely. "I was sweaty, I thought I couldn't catch my breath, I felt nauseated, but I didn't think of those as heart attack symptoms," he explained. "I couldn't piece it together, but that's me being incredibly stupid because my mom has two stents in her heart and my father died of a massive heart attack at 67." (US Weekly)

Billy Bob Thornton is getting candid about his highly-publicized marriage to Angelina Jolie. "I look at that time as a great time," the Goliath star, 62, said during the latest HFPA in Conversation podcast episode of Jolie, 43, whom he was married to from 2000 to 2003. "Angie is still a friend of mine and she's a great person and she's done so much," he added. "She makes movies that are important to her whether they succeed or fail, she still does what she believes in and I'll always respect her for that." The actor also spoke about the media coverage of the relationship. "A lot of the things they said about us at the time were exaggerated," he explained, adding, "It wasn't as crazy as people wrote about it." Specifically, he addressed the coverage surrounding the necklaces he and Jolie wore at the time, which contained vials of each other's blood. "The necklaces were a very simple thing, 'Hey let's poke our fingers with a pen and smear a little blood on there and when we're away from each other we'll wear the necklace,'" he said. "It was that easy. But by the time it came out in the press it sounded like we were wearing a bucket of blood around our necks." As for why they split, Thornton said, "We just had different lifestyles. Hers is a global lifestyle and mine is an agoraphobic lifestyle," he said with a laugh. "So that's really, that's the only reason we're probably not still together, maybe. There was a different path in life we wanted to take." In 2016, during Jolie's high-profile split from Brad Pitt, Thornton also spoke about his marriage to Jolie. "I never felt good enough for her," he shared, adding that despite his many years in Hollywood, he's "real uncomfortable around rich and important people." And he wasn't looking to change his ways. "I like how I am," he said. Thornton is now married Connie Angland, his long-time partner and mother to his 13-year-old daughter Bella. (People)

Lil Scrappy clocked in at least 11 hours and about 800 miles on the road the day he fell asleep behind the wheel and smashed into a utility pole ... leaving his friend and himself badly injured. Scrappy spoke for the first time about the accident on "TMZ Live," and he revealed he had driven from South Carolina to Atlanta to Miami on the day of the accident. He admits he might have overextended himself by deciding to go out on the town with his friend, Ca$ino Roulette, who was a passenger in the car. The rapper says he has no recollection of falling asleep behind the wheel, but he does remember Ca$ino and himself struggling to escape the car. Scrappy broke his foot in 7 places, and Ca$ino's injuries were far worse. Cops say there were no drugs or alcohol involved, and have closed their investigation. (TMZ)

An appeals court on Thursday slashed Rebel Wilson's record $3.5 million damage award to $454,000 after a magazine publisher appealed the amount of its payout in a defamation case. The 38-year-old Australian comic actress, best known for the "Pitch Perfect" movies and "Bridesmaids," was not in the Court of Appeal in Melbourne to hear the three judges' decision. Wilson won a Victoria state Supreme Court jury trial ruling that German publisher Bauer Media defamed her in a series of articles in 2015 claiming she lied about her age, the origin of her first name and her upbringing in Sydney. Bauer did not appeal the verdict that the articles were defamatory but argued the Australian-record damages awarded in September were excessive. Bauer successfully challenged the finding that Wilson should be compensated for film roles, including "Trolls" and "Kung Fu Panda 3," which she testified she had lost following the articles' publication. The appeal court removed the AU$3.9 million that the trial judge had awarded for roles lost because of damage done to her reputation. It also reduced Wilson's non-economic losses by AU$50,000 to AU$600,000. Wilson said on Twitter the night before the judgment that she had won the case regardless of the damages awarded. "I'm away on location in Europe filming right now," she tweeted. "As I've said before, I have already won the case and this is unchallenged! This case was never about the money for me," she added. Conor McGregor just walked out of an NYC courtroom where he appeared for a hearing for his bus attack case ... and told the media, "I regret my actions that led me here today." He continued, "I understand the seriousness of this matter and I'm hopeful that it gets resolved soon." Inside the courtroom, Conor's attorney told the judge the UFC star is negotiating a plea deal with prosecutors. They're due back in court July 26. McGregor was hit with multiple charges -- including felony criminal mischief -- for attacking a UFC bus at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 5 ... injuring multiple people including some UFC fighters. If convicted on all counts, Conor faces up to 7 YEARS in prison. Conor was escorted inside the courtroom by armed police officers who were controlling the crowd and keeping the peace. Conor looked stylish -- wearing a suit and tie. His demeanor was much different than the last time he was in court -- no billionaire strut this time. He was very reserved. Conor was joined by his manager, Audie Attar. (TMZ)

Farrah Abraham was just released from jail after her late night bust in Bev Hills, and it looks like she learned a lesson from her arrest ... she's no longer mouthing off. Farrah was swarmed by photographers and reporters outside the BHPD moments after her release. We're told she was cited for battery and trespassing and did not have to post bail. She's facing misdemeanors. The ex-'Teen Mom' star is still rocking the summery 2-piece she was wearing when she got arrested at The Beverly Hills Hotel. TMZ broke the story ... Farrah was arrested after allegedly striking and pulling the ear of a hotel security guard. We're told she'd been arguing with other guests, and when security asked her to leave ... she got belligerent. Farrah's rep tells us, "This situation has been blown out of proportion, Farrah has not been charged and was released this afternoon. A misunderstanding occurred and there was no battery or trespassing. Farrah is the hardest working individual I know and sets very high standards of herself." She continues, "Farrah is a powerhouse and was having a business meeting in the hotel where the alleged incident happened. She is a very sweet and ambitious young woman who has been portrayed in a biased light on a reality TV show for many years." (TMZ)

Justin Bieber's head of security lucked out BIG time in his DUI case from last year -- avoiding any felony charges after allegedly injuring 2 cops and fleeing the scene. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Bieber's chief bodyguard, Michael Arana, ended up pleading guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving. The 2 misdemeanor charges of DUI and 2 felony charges of fleeing the scene that he was originally facing were dropped. We're told prosecutors lacked sufficient evidence to prove he'd actually left the scene of the accident. He had already pulled over -- just 150 yards from the impact -- when cops arrived on the scene. They never chased him. You'll also recall, Arana refused to submit to a breathalyzer or blood test. Sources say Arana didn't show signs of impairment at the scene, so prosecutors dropped the DUI charge. All in all, Arana is gonna have to pay about $1,000 in fines, complete 100 hours of community service, and enter into a victim impact program. He'll also be on probation for a year. (TMZ)

Lil Scrappy's friend, Ca$ino Roulette, got the worst of it when they got into that horrific car accident in Florida earlier this month, and now he's preparing to sue over his extensive injuries ... TMZ has learned. Ca$ino's attorney, Brett L. Schlacter, tells us ... Ca$ino sustained life-altering injuries and is "lucky to be alive." He feels Scrappy was negligent and reckless when he fell asleep at the wheel. Surveillance video of the crash shows they're both damn lucky. We're told Roulette was in ICU for 3 days following the accident and is now home in South Carolina recovering from his injuries -- broken ribs, concussion, bruised lungs, liver and kidneys -- and 2 major surgeries to repair his ruptured large intestine. Schlacter says Ca$ino's pursuing legal action to cover medical expenses, and to get compensation for life-altering injuries and significant wage loss. Lil Scrappy tells us he has no recollection of falling asleep, but admits he might have overdone it by driving too much in one day. We broke the story ... police say Scrappy won't face criminal charges for the accident. His friendship with Ca$ino, on the other hand, might be tried in court. (TMZ)

Dr. Luke Denies Kesha's Claim That He Raped Katy Perry. Dr. Luke is addressing the latest revelation in his ongoing legal battle against Kesha. Included in the court documents obtained by E! News is a February 2016 text message exchange between Lady Gaga and Kesha. The contents of the exchange, which were previously sealed, include Kesha's claim that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry. Dr. Luke's legal team denies Kesha's accusation, telling E! News in a statement, "Katy Perry herself confirmed that Dr. Luke did not rape her. Kesha's accusation to the contrary -- just like her other outrageous lies about Dr. Luke -- is baseless and irresponsible, and it is disrespectful to both Katy Perry and Dr. Luke. In his defamation lawsuit against Kesha, Dr. Luke seeks damages for the harm caused by these malicious falsehoods." E! News has reached out to Kesha's rep for comment. Katy's team declined to comment. The documents claim, "On February 26, 2016 [Kesha] sent a text message to Stefani Germanotta p/k/a/ Lady Gaga which repeated [Kesha's] false claim that [Luke] had raped her." "[Kesha] also falsely asserted that [Luke] had also raped Kathryn Hudson p/k/a/ Katy Perry," the documents continue, adding, "Following this text message conversation, and with [Kesha's] encouragement, [Lady Gaga] spread negative messages about [Luke] in the press and on social media." Gaga has not commented publicly on the alleged text messages but has previously spoken out in support of Kesha. "I just want to stand by her side because I can't watch another woman that went through what I've been through suffer," she told 97.1 AMP Radio in 2016. A year later, when news broke that Gaga would appear for a deposition in the case, her attorneys issued a statement which read, "As Lady Gaga's legal team will present to the court, she has provided all of the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process. Dr. Luke's team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga's role and falsely accusing her of dodging reasonable requests." Meanwhile, Perry has never publicly accused Dr. Luke of misconduct. She no longer works with Dr. Luke, telling New York Times of their professional split, "I had to leave the nest." Kesha sued the music producer (whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald) in 2014, claiming sexual assault and battery and seeking to invalidate her recording contracts with him. He filed a countersuit, accusing her of defamation. In 2016, she dropped her sexual abuse claims, while his defamation suit against her in New York continued. Kesha sought a preliminary injunction that would allow her to release music outside of Dr. Luke's authority; however, a judge denied the request in May. (Eonline)

Los Angeles DA reviewing sexual assault case against Sylvester Stallone. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office is reviewing sexual assault allegations against Sylvester Stallone, according to a DA spokesperson. A case was presented Wednesday by the Santa Monica Police Department, the spokesperson said. Details were not given about the allegations against the actor. Media reports from last year, however, outline at least two alleged incidents of sexual assault from his past. The first was said to have happened in the 1990s, but it wasn't reported until late last year. Law enforcement sources told TMZ back in December that an unidentified woman filed a report with Santa Monica police -- "alleging a rape that occurred 27 years ago" while she was dating Stallone. The statute of limitations were said to have already expired on that case, though. The second alleged incident of sexual assault involving Stallone was said to have happened in 1986 at a Las Vegas hotel. A teen reportedly accused the "Rocky" star of forcing her into a threesome with his bodyguard -- and then threatening to "beat her head in" if she told anyone about what they did. The Daily Mail obtained a police report last November, detailing what allegedly went down. "This is a ridiculous, categorically false story," a spokeswoman for Stallone said in a statement at the time. "No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone. At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by any authorities or anyone else regarding this matter." Santa Monica police told reporters in December that they were investigating allegations made against the actor, but they didn't provide any further details. "We got a complaint that was made in November of alleged sexual misconduct in the 1990s," SMPD spokesman Saul Rodriguez told Reuters. "We are looking into it and will gather information and whatever we discover will be passed to the district attorney." Stallone's camp has denied both of the allegations of assault, and even threatened to file claims accusing the alleged victims of filing false police reports. Attempts to reach his lawyer, Martin Singer, were unsuccessful Wednesday night. (PageSix)

I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are." While there is no evidence of foul play in Anthony's death, fans remain curious about the chef's mindset in the days before his passing. In fact, those closest to the Emmy winner are still trying to understand his pain. "He had everything. Success beyond his wildest dreams. Money beyond his wildest dreams," Anthony's mom Gladys Bourdain told the New York Times. "He is absolutely the last person in the world I would have ever dreamed would do something like this." Anthony was in France to film an episode for Parts Unknown at the time of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Bourdain family. (Eonline)
