THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Private Honeymoon in Africa. After a very public wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle managed to pull off one very private honeymoon. Close to a month after the couple said "I Do" at St. George's Chapel, E! News is learning more about how the newlyweds celebrated without any cameras around. Reports that the couple were in Canada and Ireland are not true. Instead, a source tells E! News the couple traveled into East Africa and visited more than two countries. Their activities ranged from safaris and outdoor adventures to lying in the sun. "It was the perfect break and blend of their passions," our source shared. "Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018." Just last month, E! News had learned that Prince Harry and Meghan's honeymoon would not immediately happen after their May 19 nuptials. Instead, the newlyweds had to commit to their first official engagements as a married couple. One of the events was a garden party hosted in honor of Prince Charles as part of his 70th birthday celebrations. With many eyes on the new husband and wife, cameras captured Meghan rubbing Prince Harry's back as they later exited together. They also shared a laugh when he joked about being attacked by a bee at the podium. Ultimately, a private honeymoon has always been a goal for the couple who had their wedding broadcast for fans around the world. "Going somewhere they can bring minimal security too and not worry about people seeing them has been of the utmost importance," a source previously shared with E! News. As for what's next for this famous pair? Time will only tell. Fans, however, can't help but wonder if a royal baby could be in the future. Prince Harry famously told ABC News that he's "longed" for kids "since I was very, very young." More recently, Prince Harry said in a BBC interview that he wanted to take things "one step at a time" and added, "hopefully we will start a family in the near future." (Eonline)

Meghan Markle Wears Givenchy (Again!) for First Solo Engagement With Queen Elizabeth II. Meghan Markle travelled to Cheshire, England in style on Thursday for her first solo engagement with Queen Elizabeth II. Revisiting one of her favorite designers, the Duchess of Sussex wore Givenchy -- the same fashion house that designed her wedding gown for her marriage to Prince Harry. According to Meghan's Mirror, she accessorized the look with black, Sarah Flint heels, as well as a Givenchy purse. She also wore a Givenchy belt and a bracelet. Of course, her engagement ring and wedding band were on display, as well. She even debuted some new royal accessories -- pearl earrings she received from The Queen. As for Her Majesty, the Queen wore a green coat over a floral print dress. She accessorized her look with a matching green hat, white gloves and pearls. The two royals certainly have a full itinerary. After taking the Royal Train to Runcorn Station, they travelled by car to Mersey Gateway Bridge for its opening. There, they met with architects, planners and community representatives. They also stopped to greet a few children who had come to see them and received bouquets from the young well-wishers. Then, the two royals sat side by side to watch a performance from local students called "Bringing Communities Together: Halton's river crossings over the ages." Her Majesty and the Duchess seemed to enjoy themselves and even shared a few laughs. However, there was a serious moment when both The Queen and the Duchess took part in a national moment of silence in honor of the people who died in the Grenfell Tower fire last year. Next, the royals will visit the city's Storyhouse -- a performing arts center, movie theater and library all in one. There, they will receive a tour of the building, stop by the children's library and meet a Syrian settlement group engaged in craftwork. In addition, they'll enjoy a morning full of performances -- including one by the Fallen Angels. The dance theater company was created to support people recovering from addiction. Then, Meghan and The Queen will hear several songs from Storyhouse's latest show, "A Little Night Music." In addition, local schoolchildren will sing with stars from the drama Swallows and Amazon. Queen Elizabeth II will end the festivities by unveiling a plaque to mark the opening of the center. After a full morning, Meghan and Queen Elizabeth II will join the Chester City Council for lunch. They will then bid the city adieu. While the day seemed to go well, Meghan did commit one faux pas. As footage from Leading Britain's Conversation shows, the new royal paused before entering a vehicle to ask a question about protocol: Who should enter the car first? The Queen encouraged Meghan to step into the vehicle first. Even though Meghan has been a royal for less than a month, she's already had a busy schedule. She joined the royal family for the Trooping of the Colour last weekend and celebrated Prince Charles' birthday celebration in May. Of course, she and her husband still made time to enjoy a honeymoon. (Eonline)

French Montana can now vote in the 2020 election and get a U.S. passport because he's finally a U.S. citizen! French got sworn in Wednesday morning in New Jersey. We're told getting his citizenship was a long process ... he applied in February of 2017. In order to become a citizen you have to take the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance and, from the looks of it ... French nailed it. The rapper was born and raised in Morocco but immigrated to the U.S. when he was 13. Congrats! (TMZ)

Kim Kardashian and Alice Johnson Meet Face to Face: "I Love This Woman." It was time for Alice Johnson to meet the woman responsible for securing her freedom. After spending 20 years of a life sentence in prison for drug trafficking, the 63-year-old was released on parole after President Donald Trump commuted her sentence this month. Had it not been for Kim Kardashian, the great-grandmother may have been spending the rest of her life behind bars. It was last October when the reality star first learned of Johnson's case and shared a report about her with her 60 million Twitter followers. Seven months later, the two women came face to face for the first time -- in Johnson's home. "It became this mission that I just didn't want to give up," Kardashian said of wanting to win Johnson's freedom during a Today interview aired on Thursday. As the women sat side by side in front of Hoda Kotb, the mother of three described how she had spoken to her attorney soon after learning about Johnson to see if there was anything they could do to help her. She also got on the phone with First Daughter Ivanka Trump. "I called Ivanka and we had a really great conversation about women and wanting to help each other and I knew that she would've understood Alice and she immediately was so receptive and so great," Kardashian said. While some have criticized Kardashian and attributed the seemingly smooth process to her celebrity, Kardashian said that wasn't the case. "We had been in talks and working on this for seven months and it wasn't an instant thing," she said in defense. Meanwhile, Johnson's life was suddenly intertwined with one of the most famous stars in the world -- one she had never heard of before. "I did not know her name," Johnson admitted. "I didn't know Kim." So, she started to do her homework, gathering whichever magazines she could find to learn about the mogul. As for Kardashian, she eventually had a meeting to take at the Oval Office on, coincidentally, on Johnson's birthday. "It was overwhelming in the most amazing way," she described her late May meeting with the president. After cracking a joke about sister Khloe Kardashian being fired from Celebrity Apprentice, the two got serious about Johnson's case. "The president had compassion for her right away," Kardashian said. "He felt that it was the right thing to do." A week later, Johnson was free, though it took a call from Kardashian to learn the life-changing news. "I thought she knew because the news was starting to break and we had to get her on the phone," the reality star explained. "When she said that [I could go home], I went into full-fledged pentacostal holy dance," Johnson said. "I love this woman," Kardashian told her. "I love this lady," Johnson said in response as they embraced. (Eonline)

Gisele Bndchen Says Tom Brady Made Up Flood Story Before He Proposed to Her. Tom Brady's proposal to Gisele Bndchen made a big splash. The 37-year-old supermodel, the most successful in the world, revealed to Vogue in an episode of its 73 Questions series that the 40-year-old New England Patriots quarterback, who she calls "Lovee," made up an elaborate story before asking her to marry him in January 2009 in Los Angeles. "When he proposed to me, he made up this whole story how my apartment was flooding and I ran over there to try to fix the situation," she said, speaking at their lavish Massachusetts mansion. "When I got there, the whole apartment had candles and rose petals everywhere and then he went down on his knees to propose." Keeping with tradition wasn't the best idea for the NFL star. "I'm like, 'Get up!' 'cause he just had surgery and had three staph infections," Bndchen said. "I'm like, 'What are you doing?' He's like, 'I gotta go on my knees.' I'm like, 'No, no, no, get up, please!' And here we are." The two wed a month later in an intimate ceremony at Santa Monica's Catholic Church in front of family. Brady makes a cameo in the Vogue video, as does the couple's youngest child, daughter Vivian, 5. They also share son Benjamin, 8. In the interview with Vogue, which features her on its July 2018 cover, Bndchen also revealed some personal details about Brady, saying he doesn't like being barefoot and how they taught each other different things; she taught him to recycle while he taught her how to say no. "But not to him, right?" she joked. (Eonline)

John Cena and Nikki Bella's dinner date looked hard to swallow by the looks on their faces, and we're guessing it had nothing to do with the meals they ordered. The on/off -- but lately, mostly off -- couple went out Tuesday night to the Cowboy Star Restaurant in San Diego, not far from where Nikki lives. Witnesses tell us their conversation looked intense during the entire meal -- which could be good or bad. As we've told you .. they've been trying to work things out since Bella called off their engagement in April. Cena begged to get her back, but they haven't announced a reconciliation yet. No denying ... Nikki did NOT look happy at this particular moment. Glass-half-full types will say they're having a tough convo that'll lead to a reunion. Half-empty peeps will say ... it's the last supper. (TMZ)

Diddy's sons are the It guys of fashion, and even It girl Paris Jackson is taking notice. Quincy Brown and Christian and Justin Combs were in the front row at Moschino's resort show, along with Cordell Broadus, Jimmy Iovine and Gwen Stefani, when Jackson approached Quincy. "Paris .?.?. 'fanned out' about meeting him and [asked] if they could hang out sometime," one spy said. "Everyone kept telling Christian he should get on the runway," said another. (Page Six)

Shaquille O'Neal proved to be one of the best centers the NBA has ever seen. But to his five kids, he's just their old man. When the 46-year-old retired ball player asks his children who their all-time favorite player from the league is, "they always say Kobe [Bryant] or LeBron [James]," he jokes in the new issue of Us Weekly. Not that their Hall of Famer father, whose accolades include winning four NBA championships and three NBA Finals MVP awards between 1992 and 2011, minds. "I don't think they realize who I was," O'Neal continues. "They never really saw that. They never mention me." It's only when he buys them their necessities, he jokes, that he becomes an MVP in their eyes. They see dad as a "paycheck," he says. "All they really see are Toys 'R' Us, the Apple store, Best Buy and all of that stuff." But the father of five is OK with the title they have for him. Says the occasional actor, rapper and podcast host, "To them, I'm Dad." O'Neal is the father to Taahirah, 21 (with ex-girlfriend Arnetta Yardbourgh), and Shareef, 18, Amirah, 16, Shaqir, 15, and Me'arah, 12 (with ex-wife Shaunie). (US Weekly)

Mark Wahlberg says his offer to give Conor McGregor a piece of his UFC ownership stake has expired ... telling TMZ Sports, the dude has already been compensated enough! Mark -- along with a bunch of other big stars like Sylvester Stallone, Tom Brady and Ben Affleck -- got a piece of the UFC back in 2016. And right after Conor had defeated Nate Diaz and Eddie Alvarez, Mark offered to sell him part of his ownership stake after McGregor had griped that he wasn't getting paid enough. But that was BEFORE Conor made $100 MILLION fighting Floyd Mayweather in August 2017 ... and apparently, that has changed the circumstances for Wahlberg. Don't feel bad for either guy ... they're both gonna be fine. By the way, Wahlberg also weighs in on all of the New England Patriots drama and why everyone HOPES there's a rift between the top guys in Pats Nation. (TMZ)

Let the trash talk begin!!!! Logan Paul and KSI are ripping a page from Mayweather vs. McGregor and holding a massive news conference at the L.A. Coliseum for their full-contact beatdown ... and it's all going down this weekend! As we previously reported, the two social media stars have agreed to fight each other on August 25 in Manchester, England ... and there's talk it could bring in more viewers than Conor vs. Floyd. Besides Logan and KSI, both of their younger brothers -- Jake Paul and Deji -- will also be participating in the presser ... since they're also fighting each other that night. Logan is taking the fight VERY seriously -- he's been training like a maniac and beating the hell out of his sparring partners. KSI has trained up at Floyd Mayweather's gym in Vegas ... and already has one boxing victory under his belt. As for the presser, both of these guys are famous for running their mouths ... so this should be good! (TMZ)

Farrah Abraham says she's the real victim in her Bev Hills arrest, claiming hotel guests pissed her off and hotel staffers tried to toss her out ... purely because she's a celebrity. We talked to Farrah shortly after her release from jail Wednesday, and she thinks it's clear people had it out for her Tuesday night at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She's vague on exactly who targeted her -- except to say it was a male hotel guest butting into her convo with a friend -- but says calling 911 was definitely over the top. Police have a different story. As we've reported ... Farrah was arrested for allegedly striking a hotel security guard after he tried getting her to leave the premises. Cops say she'd been arguing with other guests. She also told the arresting officers, "go f*** yourself" multiple times ... so that never helps. (TMZ)

Dennis Graham thinks the #MeToo movement wouldn't be necessary if women avoided putting themselves in potentially dangerous situations. Watch, that really is what he's suggesting. Drake's dad was leaving Delilah Wednesday night in WeHo, and we asked him about his friend, Jamie Foxx. As TMZ first reported, a woman told Vegas police, Foxx slapped her with his penis 16 years ago -- something Foxx strongly denies. Dennis, who's slurring as if he's had a few drinks, admits he doesn't know what happened in Jamie's case -- but then says there's a bigger issue for women in general. As he put it, "Take your ass home. Don't go into a man's room." (TMZ)
