THE OTHER STUFF . . .

The Queen Has Gifted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle an Incredible new Home. Typical wedding gifts from your family usually include a washer-dryer, a toaster, an engraved frame, or maybe even just gift cards if you're really lucky. They absolutely do not usually include a sprawling, countryside English mansion-unless you're Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of course, because then your registry has to include options for the actual Queen of England. It's been reported, just over two months after Harry and Meghan tied the knot, the Queen has finally presented her understated and subtle wedding gift to the newlyweds in the form of a picturesque, extremely extra new home. Suddenly, your own granny ain't so sweet. Adelaide Cottage in the heart of picturesque Windsor, England is a treasured property amongst the royal family and was once home to Princess Margaret's lover, Group Captain Peter Townsend. Now, it's set to become the home where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will settle down and start their own family. MailOnline reports that the Queen has recently offered the precious and highly coveted Grade II listed property to her grandson and his new wife to begin their new life together. A source explained that Meghan and Harry have already been for a viewing, fell in love with it immediately, and are set to move in shortly. Unfortunately, the property won't be popping up on any real estate websites to give us some sneak peek inside photos, but heritage organization Historic England shares a few key features of the house. For instance, head into the main bedroom of the "generously sized cottage" (a.k.a. mansion) and you'll find a "coved ceiling with gilded dolphins and rope ornament from a 19th Century Royal yacht." Basically the same as my one-bedroom apartment, then. While glided dolphins are an obvious must-have feature, the privacy of the property is also thought to be one of the main qualities that Harry and Meghan are looking for. The source added: "There are seven gated entrances and exits to Windsor Castle so the newlyweds could come and go without worrying about being photographed." It was previously rumored that the couple, who've resided in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace since their wedding, were given York Cottage by her majesty. But, all in all, Adelaide Cottage sounds like an equally sweet deal for Meghan and Harry. Shall I buy them a cactus and a housewarming card? (MarieClaire)

Bella Thorne Appears as Whale Mermaid in Chains in PETA's Boycott SeaWorld Day Ad. Bella Thorne channels a suffering killer whale in a PETA ad for the annual Boycott SeaWorld Day, which is on Tuesday. In the photo, the 20-year-old actress appears as an orca mermaid, with her tail and wrists chained up. "Break the Chains: Boycott SeaWorld," the ad states.] The SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment company has long come under fire from animal rights activists and supporters, including celebs, over its alleged mistreatment of captive mammals at its theme parks. The group has denied any wrongdoing. In 2016, SeaWorld announced it would stop breeding killer whales in captivity. In a PETA video, Thorne says she starred in a SeaWorld commercial when she was a child and even then "knew there wasn't something right." "If you looked it up, you wouldn't ever want to go to SeaWorld. These beautiful animals are in so much pain," she says. "They're taken away from their community, their homes, their mothers, and they don't have a choice -- they're locked in there!" "F--k SeaWorld!" she says. "I think definitely a way to help would be boycotting SeaWorld, protesting SeaWorld. Don't be afraid to show up with your signs and make your point." Public opinion of SeaWorld decreased further after the release of the 2013 documentary Blackfish, which focused on the SeaWorld killer whale Tilikum and depicted the captivity and exhibition of his kind to be cruel. In 2015, SeaWorld launched a "SeaWorld Cares" PR campaign to set the "record straight" on the "false accusations" made against them. In 2016, in addition to announcing the end to its killer whale breeding program, SeaWorld also said it would phase out its signature killer whale theatrical stunt shows and replace them with "new, inspiring, natural orca encounters" that will focus on "orca enrichment, exercise, and overall health." "There will be no more new orcas," SeaWorld CEO Joel Manby said on the Today show at the time, adding that he "would never admit that the care of our animals was poor." In 2017, Tilikum, who lived in captivity for more than 30 years, died in 2017 after a long illness. That year, the first Boycott SeaWorld Day was promoted online by PETA. (Eonline)

Lin-Manuel Miranda jumped up to a podium shortly after landing in Puerto Rico on Sunday to announce he has helped create a multimillion-dollar fund to boost the arts in the U.S. territory as it struggles to recover from Hurricane Maria. The "Hamilton" playwright said he hopes the fund will grow to $15 million in upcoming years. He added that he will donate all funds from the Broadway hit when it is performed January in Puerto Rico. "The goal wasn't just artistic satisfaction, but how can we leave Puerto Rico a little better than we found it," said Miranda, whose parents are from the island. Hurricane Maria caused damage estimated at more than $100 billion when it hit in September. Cultural and artistic groups across Puerto Rico have been greatly affected, losing government and nonprofit support amid an 11-year-old recession. The first five recipients of the fund include a dance school and a theater company. "This will allow us to start dreaming again, to come up with new ideas, to visit more cities. This will allow us to breathe," Julio Morales, artistic co-director of the local theater company, Y No Habia Luz, told The Associated Press. The seven-member company will receive $180,000. It had struggled to find funds and was forced to cancel all events for several months after the hurricane. The nonprofit Flamboyan Foundation will manage the fund, which will award $1 million each to the Theater of the University of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Museum of Art. An award of $900,000 will go to an art education program and a dance school. Among those visiting Puerto Rico for the announcement was Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller. "Arts will be at the center of the rebuilding effort," he said, noting that he is excited about the show's upcoming run in Puerto Rico. "The point it to lift everybody up for those three weeks." Hundreds of people in Puerto Rico recently auditioned for the historical musical about the life of Alexander Hamilton, and Miranda said he would like to bring the newest cast members on tour in the U.S. mainland. Miranda said he has to prepare for Hamilton in Puerto Rico, adding with a laugh: "I still have to memorize my lines." (Page Six)

Nicole Scherzinger has been spotted kissing boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov on a yacht off the coast of Saint Tropez. The singer, 40, was also snapped taking a playful shower with the Bulgarian tennis pro, 27, after a quick dip in the Mediterranean Sea. The Pussycat Doll  who looked incredible in a cut-out white swimsuit locked lips with her boyfriend of two-and-a half-years Grigor while on board the luxury boat. After a swim in the ocean, the pair decided to shower on deck together, and the sportsman was seen playfully spraying his girlfriend with the hose before she got her own back. They looked more loved-up than ever as they walked hand-in-hand to board the vessel earlier in the day. Later on, Grigor was seen taking a photo of the former TV judge as she jumped in the air. It comes as the Pussycat Doll holidayed to Mykonos earlier this month after losing her role as a judge on "The X Factor." She was seen joining pals for a stroll down a beach on the Greek island. At the same time her boyfriend Grigor was knocked out of Wimbledon by Stan Wawrinka. The previous week the Bulgarian admitted their long-distance relationship can be "difficult." He has been dating Nicole since late 2015, and their relationship first became public in January 2016. In April of this year she broke her silence after being dropped from "The X Factor" with a reflective message posted to Instagram during a trip to Lake Como. The star wrote alongside an uncharacteristically glum selfie: "Happy glorious Easter everyone! It's been raining nonstop here in Italy, but when the sun rose today it shined so bright to remind us!" In the picture, Nicole who is known for her usually smiley snaps can be seen looking stony-faced while wearing a woolly hat and sunglasses. It came just hours after The Sun revealed that she had been axed from the popular ITV singing show as part of a massive shake up. The singer's fans rushed to comment on her snap, telling her how much they would miss her on the program. (Page Six)
