Parade on SR 82 in Patagonia July 4

State Route 82 will be temporarily closed in both directions from First Avenue (mileposts 18-20) toward Patagonia Monday (July 4) from 11 a.m.to noon for the Fourth of July parade.  Detour during Parade Westbound SR 82 traffic will be detoured from First Avenue to Sonoita Avenue to Fourth Avenue to SR 82. Eastbound SR 82 traffic will be detoured from Fourth Avenue to Sonoita Avenue to First Avenue to SR 82. Law enforcement officials will be on site. As monsoon season gets underway, residents are advised the County is providing sand and sandbags to residents, at no cost, at several locations convenient to people in flood prone areas.   Cochise County does not have the staff to fill or load sandbags.  Residents are advised to bring their own shovel. To protect the sandbags from the weather, they will be placed inside a metal drum next to the sand, at the following locations: Monday through Thursday from the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm: - Bisbee Road yard, 1229 Hereford Rd. - Douglas Road yard, 3665 N. Travel restriction scheduled on SR 77 south of Winkelman on Thursday

Maintenance work on State Route 77 south of Winkelman will require morning travel restrictions on Thursday (June 30). The southbound lane of SR 77 will be closed at approximately milepost 130 between 8 a.m. and noonThursday and ADOT personnel will direct traffic in both directions through the area using the northbound lane.
