Other Thoughts....

There's a brand-new study that claims the radiation emitted by cellphones does, in fact, cause cancer. Apparently the researchers have moved away from coffee and are now studying phones. A Chinese man was killed by a walrus he had taken a selfie with. Apparently, a lot of walrus feel the same way you do about selfies. Virginia McLaurin was a guest of the Washington Nationals last week, as she attended her first-ever Major League Baseball game at the age of 107. After the game, she said, "And they say I move slow!" They also allowed her to lead the 7-inning adjustment in your seat.

It makes it a lot easier to try to get away with doing only 3 days' worth of work It's the perfect opportunity to wear your "Why can't we do this every week?" t-shirt The boring Monday morning staff meeting seems a little less boring on Tuesdays You thank God when it's Friday, you're just not as needy You never even need to say the "M" word (Monday)

It costs about $170 a year to power your flat screen TV, but only about $3 a year to power your radio. According to Men's Health , 40% of men can not remember the last time they wrote a thank you note. Close to 20% of people in a recent survey said picking their nose while driving nearly caused them to get into an accident. Only seven out of every one thousand people will live to be 100. About one in every five men say they couldn't leave for vacation without packing a hair dryer.

One out of three people has had a date ruined by this? Talking politics.

Problems at Sears continue. Now it's rumored they may actually be selling off their Kenmore and Craftsman brands. Coca Cola used Memorial Day Weekend to introduce their new red, white and blue cans, which honor the U.S.O.. Actress Amber Heard has reportedly gone to court to file for a domestic violence restraining order against Johnny Depp. The development comes less than a week after Heard filed for divorce from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star. The two were married for 15 months. For the third year in a row, the National Spelling Bee ended in a tie. He played Puck on "Glee." Now, actor Mark Salling has been charged with possession of child pornography and is facing up to 5 years in jail. The average urban dweller in Kenya pays up to 16 bribes a month, according to Transparency International. 38 million Americans hit the road over the Memorial Day weekend, the second highest amount ever. The lowest Memorial Day gas prices since 2005 helped. Da

Johnny Diesel turns 50 and is still the most expensive grade of singer out there. Brooke Shields turns 51 today. That's 123 in model years. Another ten years and she'll be able to star in the movie, "Blue Hair Lagoon." Or not.  McDarryl McDaniels, the D of Run DMC, turns 52. That explains why the group is changing their name to Slow Jog MC. Singer Corey Hart turns 54 today. He's dropped the sunglasses and now wears reading glasses at night. Clint Eastwood turns 86 today. You've got to be asking yourself, how many years does he have left? I heard the chair is planning a surprise party for him. He's more of a "Dirty Harold" now. Sure, you could sneak up behind him and yell, "Happy birthday!" but you gotta be askin' yourself... "Do you feel lucky, punk? Well? Do ya?" World No-Tobacco Day -- A day to celebrate life by throwing away those smokes away. Guys, here's the best reason to stop smoking:

On this date in 1787 the Constitutional Convention decided on a bi-cameral Congress. The consensus was that all of them would "walk a mile for a cameral." In 1790, Congress passed the very first copyright law. It actually wasn't their idea: they stole it from a book, word for word. On this date in 1868, the very first recorded bicycle race took place in France. This in spite of the No Peddlers signs. It was very exciting... mostly because bicycle brakes hadn't been invented yet. At first, everyone thought it was a joke since the only three contestants were a Frenchman, a German and a Brit. Needless to say, the guy with the training wheels came in second. In 1894, the U.S. Senate voted unanimously to declare a policy of non-interference in the Hawaiian Islands. Hard to believe we ever kept our nose out of anybody's business. It was on this date in 1919 that the very first wedding in an airplane took place over Houston, Texas. If that one br
