Inside Sandra Bullock & Bryan Randall's Private Relationship: They ''See Spending Their Lives Together.'' Sandra Bullock and her boyfriend Bryan Randall are as happy as can be as of late. A source close to the couple tells E! News that the Oscar winner and her beau are "still very much in love" and that they two have been spending ample time together. "Sandra and Bryan see spending their lives together but haven't spoken about marriage to anyone yet," our insider adds. "They are the kind of people that would do a small wedding, if anything, or without anyone knowing if they decide to get married." The couple, who has been dating since last summer, tries to keep their relationship and private life as out of the public eye as possible for not just themselves, but also for Sandra's two children. Late last year we reported that the duo was getting very serious following Sandra adopting a second child, a daughter named Laila. In her interview with People, Sandra explained, "When I look at Laila, there's no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here. I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time." And following the big family news, a source revealed to us that "Bryan has been very supportive while Sandra has been going through this whole adoption process. He is such a great person and just wants to make her happy and help anyway he can." The pal continued, "They are both very much in love with each other... marriage is something many of their friends think will happen. They are not in any rush and just enjoying every day with each other. Sandra is in a great place." (Eonline)

Anne Hathaway Returned to the Gym After Giving Birth Only to End Up in Tears. Anne Hathaway gave birth only eight weeks ago, so she's not totally ready to resume some of her normal routines. She did decide, however, that she would go back to the gym, but even that has been tough. The Alice Through the Looking Glass star appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday where she opens up about her life as a new mom and how life has changed since welcoming son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman. "Being a Mom has changed me in a couple ways. I actually, not based on this moment, but other moments feel a lot more confident. Normally you walk into the gym and you see, I work out in West Hollywood, so you see like Thor's trainer, you know the people who have too many muscles to be in The Avengers that's who works out at my gym," she explains, adding that she has returned to the gym only three times. "So I would normally walk in and feel so intimidated, but I walk in I'm like yeah I work out with 5 pound weights, but I pushed a baby out of my body I feel good right now. So I don't care what I look like, I feel great. I'm on this [row] machine, whatever that does." All of a sudden, someone started to stare at the Oscar-winning star, so at first she thought she was doing something incorrectly and became a little insecure. "I see this guy who does actually look like Thor's trainer staring at me and I'm like, 'Oh God. Am I doing something wrong?'" Hathaway recalls. "In the past I just would have slunk off my machine." With her new mommy confidence, Hathaway explains that she asked the trainer if everything was OK, and they struck up a short conversation. But it didn't end there. "He's like, 'So you been working out at this gym for a long time.' And I'm like oh my God he's hitting on me. Nice! New mom. I feel really good about myself and I'm like, 'Oh, yeah I've been coming here for a little bit.' He's like, 'Cool, I'm a trainer here and just wondering if you want some pointers.' And I'm like, Oh no he's not hitting on you he just wants a job." Spoiler alert: He didn't get the job because instead of giving her the proper response after she revealed she had recently given birth, he body shamed her. "If somebody says I had a baby 13 years ago you say you look great. That is what you do that is the etiquette," she explains on the show. "So I say to this guy I had a baby seven weeks ago. And he goes, 'Oh, trying to lose the baby weight!'" Hathaway explains that she kept her cool in the moment, but afterwards she walked away and cried! (Eonline)

Pink Flustered After Her "Crush" Johnny Depp Surprises Her on TV: "This Is the Worst Day Ever." She can perform on the Billboard Music Awards hanging from the ceiling, but when it comes to talking to her celebrity crush Johnny Depp, Pink simply can't do it. "Him and Michael Keaton," she admitted to Jimmy Kimmel. "I can't do it. Beetlejuice just gets me every time." While she's been married on and off to her husband Carey Hart since 2006, that won't stop the 36-year-old songstress from gushing over the actor like a teenage schoolgirl. While it seems like Pink would rather crawl under a rock than speak face to face with Depp, the moment finally came when her husband forced her to confront him while shopping. "I didn't want to meet him. My husband made me meet him, which was so dumb," she described. "I was hiding behind records in a record store and I was like, 'Don't do this. I don't want to meet him." Despite her misgivings, Pink faced him and tried to start a conversation by talking about the upcoming film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, which Depp acts in and she sings for on the soundtrack. However, Depp mistook her conversation about Alice, the film for Alice Cooper, the rock star. "I don't think it went well," she declared. "I don't feel like I nailed it." Unfortunately for the star, but fortunately for everyone watching, Kimmel arranged for Depp to surprise her on the set for a second chance to "nail it." She immediately was flustered by his appearance and couldn't muster up any conversation beyond a few words. Simply, she was all of us after spotting our teenage crush by our locker. After he walked offstage, Pink was visibly blushing. "Go away. That was awful," she said with frustration. "That sucks. I hate you. I hate you." "You just turned the color of your hair," Kimmel quipped about her bright pink locks. "This is the worst day ever," she proclaimed. (Eonline)

Shade queen? Not so much. Anne Hathaway took to Instagram on Monday night, quickly clarifying an earlier picture she posted which some took as shade thrown towards the KarJenner crew. The original post, which has now been deleted, was a meme, featuring actress Helena Bonham Carter with the words "In a world of Kardashians... Be a Helena Bonham Carter." "(Red) Queen," Hathaway, 33, captioned the photo, referring to her co-star's role in their new film Alice Through The Looking Glass. That post has now been replaced with a picture of a message that reads, "Post removed for unintended shade thrown." The new mom captioned the post, "It never occurred to me I was pitting anyone against each other. Not my style. Peace x." Following her clarification, fans praised the actress in the comments section, referring to her as a "class act" for amending the situation immediately. On Monday night, Hathaway looked absolutely stunning as she attended the premiere for Disney's Alice Through The Looking Glassat the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. (People)

Elijah Wood is backpedaling on his inflammatory comments about child sex abuse in Hollywood. "The Sunday Times interviewed me about my latest film but the story became something else entirely," the actor tweeted Monday. "It prompted a number of false and misleading headlines. I had just seen a powerful documentary and I briefly spoke with the reporter about the subject which had consequences I did not intend or expect." Wood, 35, remarked the entertainment industry was littered with pedophiles. He even compared the situation to British TV personality Jimmy Savile, who abused about 500 children. "There are a lot of vipers in this industry," Wood originally told the Sunday Times. "People with parasitic interests will see you as their prey." The former child star, who made his first big-screen appearance in "Back to the Future Part II" at the age of 8, also noted he did not experience the alleged abuse first hand. "Let me be clear: This subject of child abuse is an important one that should be discussed and properly investigated," he continued on Twitter. "But as I made absolutely clear to the writer, I have no firsthand experience or observation of the topic, so I cannot speak with authority beyond the articles I have read and the films I've seen." According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the couple noticed the watch was gone after returning from a night out last week in Memphis. David Foster Asks Court Not to Grant Yolanda Hadid Spousal Support. David Foster doesn't want to have to pay spousal support to his ex, Yolanda Hadid, according to court documents obtained by E! News. The famed music producer asked the court not to grant any support to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, but the documents also request Hadid not be responsible for any spousal payments either. Hadid and Foster officially filed for divorce after four years of marriage, but announced they were separating in December. At the time of the filing, Hadid requested spousal support and legal fees from Foster. Although it was said that her Lyme disease played a role in the split, Hadid clarified those rumors while opening up about her divorce on Watch What Happens Live. "You can't underestimate how much it takes for a man to take care of somebody that's sick all of the time. David didn't change; I'm the one that changed. And I guess this is the outcome of that," Hadid said. When host Andy Cohen asked about the criticism Foster received "for not wanting to be with you while you were sick," she defended him, saying, "I don't think anybody should criticize that." Despite their amicable split, Hadid admitted she was "blindsided." "I didn't think that was the end of the road," she shared. "I would have hoped to wait until I got 100 percent well." Foster also addressed the rumors, telling E! News that a lot of "baseless information" about his "thoughts and feelings" had been spreading like wildfire. "I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda, which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness," he told us. "I have been by Yolanda's side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of her Lyme diagnosis. I am incredibly proud of Yolanda's determination and mission to find a cure, and how brave and open she has been by sharing her story in the hopes of changing the future for others." (Eonline)

Frank Dillane -- star of "Fear the Walking Dead" and a 'Harry Potter' flick -- allegedly got physical with a CBS security guard, and got hauled off the backlot by cops ... TMZ has learned. Our law enforcement sources say Dillane, who plays Nick Clark on 'Dead,' tried to breeze through a security checkpoint on Sunday night. Guards tried to stop him, especially because 'Dead' doesn't even shoot on the lot. At least one guard described his behavior as "erratic." We're told Dillane didn't dig all the attention, things got heated and he ended up striking one of the guards. That was the last straw for the security force, which detained the actor with a citizen's arrest. LAPD arrived and booked Dillane for battery. We've reached out to his reps, but no word back yet. Former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza went out exactly the way he wanted -- playing drums onstage in front of his fans. Menza's rep, Robert Bolger, tells us his passing is tragic for sure ... but his friends and family take comfort in the fact that he had said on several occasions when he died he wanted to do so onstage. Menza had death on his mind last year after Motorhead singer Lemmy Kilmister died. Menza talked about the string of musicians who'd died that year and started talking about his own death. Nick Menza collapsed during his band's set Saturday at The Baked Potato jazz club in Studio City. (TMZ)

Hands Up! Prince Harry's Splash Mountain Photo Revealed. Prince Harry took a trip down memory lane this week when he returned to Walt Disney World. The redheaded royal previously visited the world-famous theme park with his mother, Princess Diana, and brother, Prince William, in 1993, only a short while after she and Prince Charles decided to split. Prince Harry is in Orlando for the Invictus Games, which is a multi-day, Paralympic-style sporting competition. The British royal left ESPN Wide World of Sports complex to take in some of Disney's most famous rides, including Splash Mountain. The last time he went down the log flume, Harry, then 8, and his brother, then 11, were caught on camera screaming while their gorgeous mother ducked her head to protect her hair and clothes. This time, however, we're sure the prince managed to keep his cool. He spent about an hour inside the park, walking around and trying out different rides. But he isn't spending time away from the Games for long, as he was set to return to ESPN's complex to watch more competitive events. The rugged royal opened up to Today's Jenna Bush Hager and admitted he wished his mother could've been there to see him kick off the event. "That was very happy memories," Harry recalled of his first trip to Disney World. "It's a huge shame she's not here, but I hope she'd be incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve." Ahead of his trip to Florida, Prince Harry told People he wanted to impress his mother, who was known for her humanitarian work. "All I want to do is make my mother incredibly proud," he said. "That's all I've ever wanted to do." "When she died, there was a gaping hole, not just for us but also for a huge amount of people across the world," he added. "If I can try and fill a very small part of that, then job done. I will have to, in a good way, spend the rest of my life trying to fill that void as much as possible. And so will William." Blac Chyna has been showing her growing baby bump and now she's sharing the first photo of her baby with fiance Rob Kardashian! Chyna, 28, shared a new ultrasound photo of her bundle of joy on Instagram Monday. Along with the photo, the mother-to-be, who is already a parent to 3-year old son King Cairo, wrote a touching caption full of sweet notes for the father of her child. "For a long time I felt like King was going to be an only child. That he was my greatest blessing and we were gonna live happily ever after together Just the 2 of us, I was no longer looking for love because I thought I had all that I needed. We needed," the mother of one began her post. "But look at God ! Here I am Engaged to be married to one of the greatest men I know who loves King & I unconditionally AND having another bundle of joy! I just want to say Never give up & ALWAYS have faith because fairytales DO come True #LookAtOurLittleNugget #KingsGoingToBeABigBrother," Chyna continued. Earlier this month, Chyna and Kardashian, 29, announced that they were expecting their first child together, weeks after getting engaged. The bride-to-be used a Chymoji to break the news, posting an emoji rendering of herself hugging her enlarged belly to Instagram. The ultrasound photo and positive words come after Chyna pleaded social media followers to put some respect on her name. "To all you people out here with negative comments and insecure words (obviously because you have nothing else to do but criticize the next) I AM HAVING A BABY!" she wrote in response to internet trolls. "Exactly what do you expect to see?! If I walked out in makeup and heels every day to be beautiful to your means I WOULD BE MISERABLE AND UNHAPPY which are two vibes I refuse to transfer to my little one," she continued. (People)

Anna Wintour Finally Reveals the Reason Behind Her Famous Bangs. It's a banged bob that will remain synonymous with Anna Wintour for decades to come. However, finally, Vogue's notoriously private editor-in-chief is revealing why she has remained committed decades to the full fringe. "You're about to go on a magnificent journey," she addressed to her younger self in a public service announcement on Late Night with Seth Meyers clad in a Hillary '16 t-shirt. "Before you do, here is a bit of advice." "Don't get a tattoo of a dot on your forehead, because then you'll have to wear bangs for the rest of your life," the 66-year-old teased, poking fun at her iconic look. While we highly doubt an esteemed fashionista like Wintour would ever even contemplate such a tattoo, we appreciate the joke nonetheless. Meanwhile, Lena Dunham was her own punchline while joking about a certain career milestone. "One TV show about four friends will change your life forever," she began in an additional message to her younger self. "That show is called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Nice one, Lena. "Basically, you're just going to rip it off wholesale. Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shosh are pretty much just Donatello, Rafael, Leonardo and Michelangelo, but with vaginas," she continued. "So, in a couple years when you're in a pitch meeting with HBO, you just blurt out Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the turtles are girls, they'll give you a blank check faster than you can say 'Cowabunga dude!'" Lastly, Cyndi Lauper took center stage to tell her younger self about the days when girls aren't just worried about having fun. "Right now, you probably think that girls just want to have fun, but as a grown up, life isn't all about just having fun," she warned. "Girls gotta have a solid investment strategy. Girls gotta build a diversified portfolio." Even a free spirit like Lauper understands the boring benefits of a Roth IRA and 401K. "You know, what's really fun -- is peace of mind and financial security," she concluded. If you say so, Cyndi. (Eonline)

When Mel Gibson presented the Cannes Film Festival's Palme d'Or to director Ken Loach on Sunday for "I, Daniel Blake," some insiders bristled. In 2006, after Loach won the same award for "The Wind That Shakes the Barley," the director called for a cultural boycott of Israel. In 2009, Loach condemned the Toronto Film Festival for selecting Tel Aviv for its "City to City" section, and pulled his film "Looking for Eric" from a Melbourne festival when Israel was a sponsor. Gibson has apologized for an infamous 2006 rant during a DUI arrest that "the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." But a Hollywood insider said of their pairing in France, where anti-Semitic attacks have risen, "It was blatant and boorish .?.?. Gibson as the presenter of the Palme d'Or to [a] virulently anti-Israel director." Loach's newest has divided critics. (Page Six)

Karlie Kloss is the new face of Swarovski, replacing Miranda Kerr. So far, so normal, models often model, but it's the campaign video that has us wishing, once again, that Kloss was one of our mates. Like most of us, she has no idea how to say "Swarovski", but unlike us, she's the brand's new ambassador so has more pressure than we do to pronounce it correctly. Watch her attempt to learn how to get it right below. Kloss will front the jewelry brand's campaigns for the next two years, featuring in print, outdoor, television, print and digital ads for Swarovski. It's yet another string to the model's bow. Other than securing huge fashion campaigns, the New York University student has been focusing on her Code with Klossy summer camp, which teaches teenage girls as to computer code. Then there's her Karlie's Kookies business, which raises money for starving children across the globe, her successful YouTube channel, and the fact that she was recently named in one of Time magazine's 100 most influential. Not bad going for a 23-year-old. (British Glamour)

Rebel Wilson will be joining the cast of Guys and Dolls as Miss Adelaide in the West End production of the play. Exciting. The Australian comedy actress will be joining the production for a limited time only from Tuesday 28 June until Sunday 21 August 2016. The play is based on the book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows and follows the story of the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings, including the character of Miss Adelaide as one of the lead roles. Rebel said of the casting: "A lot of people who know me from my more recent film work have no idea how much theatre has influenced my life." She went on: "I saw my first musical at age 14, a show called 42nd Street, after one of my family's dogs had unsuccessfully auditioned to be in it. It blew me away and I've loved musical theatre ever since. "Training at the Australian Theatre for Young People gave me the opportunity to perform onstage in 8 productions ranging from new Australian musicals to classic plays. I then went on to write and perform in my own productions before being snapped up to do screen work." She finished by saying: "I am delighted to be making my West End debut in Guys & Dolls and to be playing such an iconic role as 'Miss Adelaide' is truly an honor. Hopefully I crush it... but you'll have to come and see me to find out!" (British Glamour)

Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham have extended their modeling repertoires by landing a new photoshoot in Vogue China's special 'Vogue Me' issue. David and Victoria must be pretty proud right now... The boys have done their fair share of modelling in the past, with Romeo modelling for Burberry and Brooklyn having graced the cover of Man About Town, but this takes things up a notch. The issue, as part of a bi-monthly special which are targeted toward a younger post-90s readership in China, sees Brooklyn take the cover (flanked by two models), and Romeo posing in a turtleneck on the inside pages. Understandably, Victoria and David were the proudest of parents, posting the images on Instagram. We wonder when Cruz will make his debut? (British Glamour)

The protesters heading to Cleveland for the Republican National Convention are hoping to be entertained by a supergroup formed by Tom Morello and two other members of Rage Against the Machine. Guitarist Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk have replaced Rage's lead singer Zack de la Rocha with old-school rappers B-Real of Cypress Hill and Chuck D of Public Enemy. On the Web site of the new group, Prophets of Rage, a countdown clock says something will be announced on May 31. John Penley, a Vietnam War vet who was once described as New York's cuddliest anarchist, is hoping to book the Prophets to play in Cleveland, where he is trying to get a permit for a park in which anti-war protesters can camp out for four days. Penley, a stalwart in the Occupy Wall Street movement, was arrested four years ago in Charlotte, NC, for crossing a police line. A judge found him not guilty. "We're trying to do it the right way, getting permits. We don't want violence," Penley told me. The Cleveland Police Department has purchased $500,000 in riot gear and 10,000 plastic zip ties to use as handcuffs. But Penley thinks there will be bigger and noisier protests in Philadelphia for the Democratic convention. "So many people are coming to Philadelphia, they're going to shut the city down," Penley said. "Only the radicals are going to Cleveland. The liberals are going to Philadelphia." (Page Six)

Johnny Manziel's drinking and drug use is worse than ever -- but the QB refuses to seek help ... and now people close to him are convinced he's going to die unless something changes soon. Here's what we know ... Manziel has become even more reckless with his drug problem recently -- even blowing lines in front of people he barely knows. "He's in a horrible downward spiral," one source very close to the QB tells TMZ Sports. There have been multiple serious attempts to help Johnny -- with one group of close friends recently sitting him down and "confronting" him about his situation. But, as one source put it, "He flipped out and would not hear it." His friends are desperately trying to get through to him but haven't been successful -- and they're hoping this story will serve as a wake-up call. Maybe Vegas can reach him -- because, as multiple sources have told us, he's become persona non grata at several of the top spots after his violent outburst this past weekend at JEWEL nightclub at the Aria. "He's too much of a risk," one high-powered nightclub source tells us ... "He's a good guy, but he's a f***ing mess." Manziel is still living under the delusion that he'll make it back to the NFL -- and recently talked about his comeback plans with TMZ Sports. But no one has seen him training and when we asked him about it last month, the idea of working out seemed like a joke. Instead, he continues to party like a maniac -- L.A., Vegas, Miami, Coachella, Dallas -- and, as one source put it, "If he continues this way for much longer he will die." His own father expressed grave concern about Johnny back in February -- saying if he doesn't get help, "he won't live to see his 24th birthday." We reached out to Manziel's rep -- but she told us there was nothing she could say on the matter. (TMZ)

Ariana Grande Premieres Steamy "Into You" Music Video and There's a Plot Twist. Ariana Grande is getting hot and heavy in her new music video. The 22-year-old songstress premiered the video for "Into You," and in it she and a very hunky guy run away together and shack up in a motel in the middle of the desert. But does her flame look familiar to you? If he does, you probably watched America's Next Top Model because that's Don Benjamin from cycle 20! Grande and Benjamin playfully fool around, drinking, chasing each other through the desert and cozying up in bed before the pop star officially makes her move. As soon as they break through their friendly playtime, however, these two get hot and heavy fairly quickly. At one point, Grande is lying on the bed while Benjamin plays with animal crackers on her chest, which immediately made us think of Armageddon when Ben Affleck also brings the inanimate objects to life on Liv Tyler's belly. Between all the steamy scenes is footage of them making a getaway on the back of Benjamin's motorcycle. But this amount of happiness can only last so long, right? And that's when the plot twist arrives. Towards the end of the video Grande is escorted into a black tie party...but not with Benjamin! Instead, she's on the arm of another handsome guy, but she looks very unhappy. As her real boyfriend parties, Grande sits at the table as her -- GASP! -- bodyguard (Benjamin) watches her from afar. Unable to take anymore, Grande disappears and Benjamin chases after her. So, the question remains, did they disappear into the desert after that or did the party take place after her tryst? Calling it a truce? Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift may have just ended their years-long feud. The "What Do You Mean?" singer posted a video of himself singing Swift's breakout 2006 hit "Teardrops On My Guitar" -- and she reacted. Bieber, 22, sits and sings in the passenger seat of a car in the clip, which he shared via Instagram on Monday, May 23. Swift, 26, noticed the possible olive branch and liked the post. It's been a while since Swift and Bieber were on good terms. In August 2013, Us Weekly exclusively revealed that Bieber's on-again, off-again relationship with Swift's BFF Selena Gomez drove a wedge between them. "Taylor hates him. She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him. Bieber has really come between the girls," a source told Us at the time. A Bieber insider added: "He complains Taylor's always telling Selena she can do better." (Swift would stick by Gomez's side through their second split in November 2014.) Swift has alluded to their beef before. In May 2013, she refused to answer a question about Bieber in the Billboard Music Awards pressroom. "Can we have another question?" she said. Backstage, she was also caught on camera looking disgusted as Gomez, 23, kissed Bieber on the cheek. Bieber and Swift weren't always frenemies. The two happily sat next to Gomez during the American Music Awards in 2011. The following year, Bieber pulled a prank on Swift on MTV's Punk'd. (US Weekly)

Minnesota Just Established Beyonce Day and of Course It's Not Too Late to Celebrate. The fine people of Minnesota really are crazy in love with Beyonce. Before the singer takes to the stage in a sold-out concert at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the state's governor officially named Monday Beyonce Day. In a new proclamation posted on social media, Governor Mark Dayton and Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith made it clear that May 23, 2016 can and should be dedicated to all things Queen Bey for 24 hours. "Beyonce has influenced many young girls and women with powerful, positive messages in her songs and thousands of Minnesotans will gather at TCF Bank Stadium to hear Beyonce perform," the proclamation wrote. "Now, therefore... I hearby proclaim Monday as Beyonce day." Perhaps this is just another reason to blast Lemonade on replay all night long. Perhaps, we can throw it back to our favorite songs from Destiny's Child. Heck, would it be too much to rewatch Blue Ivy Carter's mom at the Super Bowl again? Whatever way you want to celebrate, perhaps Beyonce herself started the party early when she posted images of her family online. E! News has learned the new photos were taken over Mother's Day weekend when the singer along with Jay Z, Blue Ivy, Tina Knowles and her husband were in Houston. Before attending the singer's tour stop, the gang went to The Menil Collection where they got to explore one of the museum's exhibitions titled William N. Copley: The World According to CPLY. "They were just like any other family enjoying the art," a source shared with E! News. "They had a great time." As for those adorable mother-daughter photos posted earlier this morning, those are just priceless. We'll cheers to that! (Eonline)

The threat of severe weather temporarily forced Beyonce fans to evacuate an outdoor stadium in Minneapolis just before the concert was scheduled to start. Law enforcement and staff at TCF Bank Stadium made the decision to evacuate the packed venue Monday night because lightning was spotted nearby. The crowd of about 35,000 was moved to the concourse and to nearby indoor arenas on the University of Minnesota campus. Within the hour the 'all clear' was given and fans moved back to their seats. Aside from a few sprinkles, the storm predicted to arrive at concert time held off. (Page Six)

Paul McCartney to Appear In Six-Part Virtual Reality Documentary Series. The first two episodes of a six-part virtual reality documentary series about Paul McCartney will debut on Tuesday and is built around the June 10 release of compilation album Pure McCartney. Presented by the British Tourist Authority and the GREAT Britain campaign, PURE McCartney VR is directed by Tony Kaye (the Grammy winner's first VR project) and produced by Palo Alto-based VR startup Jaunt. The VR experiences were filmed in McCartney's home as the legendary performer recounts memories and anecdotes related to various tracks, while sharing archived and never-before-seen footage. It also includes digitally remastered audio mixed in Dolby Atmos (the first time original Paul McCartney tracks have been remixed in the Dolby format). Geoff Emerick served as producer and soundscape architect on the series; and Cliff Plumer, Lucas Wilson and Doug Allenstein exec produced. PURE McCartney VR episodes chronicle "Dance Tonight" and "Coming Up," which will be released on Tuesday; followed by "My Valentine" Parts 1 and 2 (debuting May 31 and June 7), "Mull of Kintyre" (June 10) and "Early Days" (June 14). Each track will be released in the Jaunt VR App. (Jaunt VR is available on iOS, Android, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Desktop 360). Jaunt previously teamed with McCartney for a VR shoot of his 2014 concert at San Francisco's Candlestick Park. McCartney's performance of "Live and Let Die" helped launch the Jaunt app. The startup's investors include The Walt Disney Company, Google Ventures, Sky and Dolby chairman Peter Gotcher. (Billboard)

Carlos Vives and Shakira Share Cover Art for New Single 'La Bicicleta': First Look. Forget that leaked snippet from a week ago. The real version of "La Bicicleta" (The Bicycle) , the new single by Colombian stars Carlos Vives and Shakira, will drop this Friday (May 27). Meantime, here's the single cover art. It's a vintage-style photo that looks like an old vinyl cover, shot (presumably) on Colombia's Caribbean coast. The video for "La Bicicleta" was shot there too, between Barranquilla (Shakira's home town) and Santa Marta (Vives' home town). The collab is the first between the two artists, and will be featured on Vives' upcoming studio album. "La Bicicleta" kicks off with a sensual solo played by an indigenous Colombian wind instrument (sources say it's called a flauta de millo) before giving way to a sultry cumbia/reggaetón beat, with Vives and Shakira trading verses about yearning love, then coming together for an immediately catchy chorus. "I've always had a dream to co-write, produce and record a song with Shakira so that together we can show our Colombia to the world," said Vives in a statement. "This is a song that represents us both very well. It's vallenato-reggaeton. And he is the king of vallenato," said Shakira. "He is one of the most impressive artists that Colombia has given us. I've always admired him, the style of his compositions, his charisma, his commitment to our country, his incomparable artistic talent and I'm very honored to be invited to participate in this project." Radiohead Play 'Creep' For First Time in 7 Years. Plenty of bands tire of playing their biggest hit, bowing to fans' pressure by mixing up the arrangement, running through it in a perfunctory fashion or slipping a tease of it into a more recent track. Sometimes, though, they just ignore it for nearly a decade, fan expectations be damned. Radiohead did the latter for nearly seven years with "Creep," the ka-chunk, chunka rocker from 1992 that helped thrust them into global stardom. Then, on Monday night, they kicked off their tour in support of A Moon Shaped Pool in Paris by treating the sold-out audience at the La Zenith to a run through "Creep," the first time they'd played it since an August 2009 show at the Reading Festival. According to Rolling Stone, there were some other droughts broken at the show, including the first performance of "No Surprises" in seven years and the first time in their career they've played at least one song from all nine of their studio albums in a single show. "This is for the funny guy shouting for 'Creep' at the back, if only to shock you," singer Thom Yorke joked to the crowd of 6,000 at Le Zenith. The triple-treat came just days after the band played the first two shows of the tour at Amsterdam's Heineken Music Hall, where they played five Moon songs live for the first time. Watch them play "Burn the Witch" in Amsterdam. (Billboard)

Ariana Grande's 'Dangerous Woman' Leads Tight Race for U.K. No. 1. Ariana Grande is battling it out with Richard Ashcroft in a tight race for the U.K. albums chart crown. Grande's third album Dangerous Woman (Republic) is at No. 1 on the midweek chart, just 100 sales ahead of Ashcroft's These People (Righteous Phonographic), the former Verve frontman's fifth studio album and his first solo collection since 2010's United Nations Of Sound. Grande has never tasted life at the summit of the Official U.K. Albums Chart. Her debut Yours Truly reached No. 7 in 2013 and its follow-up, My Everything, peaked at No. 3 in 2014. Grande's new album should get a nudge along with the release overnight of the official clip for her latest single, "Into You." Meanwhile, Beyonce's Lemonade (Columbia/Parkwood Ent) drops 2-3 on the Chart Update, Drake's Views (Island) falls 1-4, and Bob Dylan starts at No. 5 with Fallen Angels (Columbia), his 37th studio album. Eric Clapton's 23rd studio album I Still Do (Polydor) is close behind at No. 6 on the midweek chart, while a remastered version of the David Bowie compilation Changesonebowie (Parlophone) begins at No. 11. The jostling for singles chart supremacy is just as heated with Drake's "One Dance" (Cash Money/Republic Records) leading Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling" (RCA) by just 614 chart sales at the halfway point. "One Dance" last week locked-in a sixth week at No. 1, making it the longest stint at the summit for a single since Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk". The top 5 on the Chart Update is rounded out by Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "This Is What You Came For" (Columbia) at No. 3, Sia's "Cheap Thrills" (Monkey Puzzle/RCA) at No. 4 and Galantis' "No Money" (Atlantic) at No. 5. The new Official U.K. Charts will be published late Friday local time. (Billboard)

Kesha Performs an Emotional 'I Shall Be Released' at Nashville's Dylan Fest. Moon Taxi, Emmylou Harris, Heart's Ann Wilson, Wynonna and Ruby Amanfu also do Dylan proud One night after her show-stealing performance of "It Ain't Me Babe" at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Kesha once again paid tribute to Bob Dylan. This time, however, she was joined by more than two dozen Dylan acolytes paying tribute to Robert Zimmerman at the first night of Dylan Fest, a two-night charity concert celebrating Dylan's 75th birthday (the second night takes place on his actual birth date, May 24) at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Kesha let the music do the talking as she pointedly performed Dylan's gospel-tinged standard of freedom and redemption, "I Shall Be Released." Dressed in what looked to be a powder blue sparkly Manuel suit and barefoot, Kesha started the song slowly, standing still by the microphone, before building to a swaying, dramatic conclusion, as she held the last "shall" in the final line and looked upward. She didn't mention Dr. Luke as she continues to fight to be released from her contract with the producer's Kemosabe label following her allegations that he sexually and verbally assaulted her, but her song choice spoke volumes. In addition to Kesha, a number of artists turned in robust covers that brought the nearly sold-out audience to its feet. Among the other top performances: Emmylou Harris, Wynonna and Ann Wilson, "Ring Them Bells": The trio performed a gorgeous rendition of the spiritual track from 1989's Oh Mercy, with each taking a verse and then coming together in luscious, rich harmonies on the choruses. Harris's delicate soprano perfectly complemented Wilson and Wynonna's belting. Even Wynonna knew it was something special. As the women took the stage, she implored "Can someone take a picture of this and send it to @wynonnamusic? This crap doesn't happen every day." Moon Taxi, "All Along The Watchtower": The Nashville-based rock band and festival favorite received the evening's longest standing ovation for its staggeringly powerful version of the '60s rock classic. Vocalist Trevor Terndrup and the band started the song with an almost jazzy feel before exploding in to an extended full-throttled rocker, complete with Spencer Thomson's searing guitar solo that would have made Jimi Hendrix proud. Ruby Amanfu, "Not Dark Yet": Frequent Jack White collaborator Amanfu covered the melancholy track, originally from Dylan's Grammy-winning album of the year, 1997's Time Out Of Mind, covered on her 2015 album Standing Still, but she took the song to a new height with her soulful, quietly powerful reading that wrenched all the resigned sadness of the song without ever tipping over into the maudlin. John Paul White, "Just Like A Woman": The former Civil Wars member took the Blonde on Blonde hit, recorded down the street 50 years ago at Nashville's Studio A, and filled it with a sense of wonder, romance and great elegance. Charlie McCoy, who played guitar on the original recording, joined in on harmonica. Tommy Emmanuel, "Nashville Skyline Rag": Guitar hero and Chet Atkins protege was the perfect choice for the sprightly instrumental from 1969's Nashville Skyline, Dylan's foray into country music. His vibrant fingerpicking and light, melodic touch infused brightness into the ballad-heavy evening. Playing with the extremely capable house band, The Cabin Down Below Band, Emmanuel's notes soared to the Ryman's rafters. Among the other artists appearing were Boz Scaggs, Kurt Vile, Butch Walker, Cory Chisel, Dhani Harrison, John Paul White, Nikki Lane, Holly Williams, The Whigs, Ray Benson, Brendan Benson, and City & Colour. The Best Fest series, founded by Austin Scaggs, started 15 years ago in New York, fittingly enough, to celebrate Dylan's 60th birthday and has grown into an annual celebration saluting a specific act. Past Best Fests have taken place in Los Angeles, New Orleans, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Chicago, and Dublin, dedicating the evening's performances to such artists as Neil Diamond, Brian Wilson, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, and George Harrison. Proceeds from Dylan Fest are going to Thistle Farms, a Nashville-based charity that helps women survivors of abuse, addiction, trafficking and prostitution through its residential program and social enterprises, including its bath and body product line, and cafe, Thistle Stop Cafe.(Billboard)

Finding Dory Trailer Introduces New Characters and Reminds Finding Nemo Fans to "Just Keep Swimming." Finding Dory will swim into theaters in just 23 days. To build anticipation ahead of its release, Disney and Pixar released a new trailer Tuesday. Set six months after the events of 2003's Finding Nemo, Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is living in the Australian reef with Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence) when she suddenly remembers that she has a family. With her clownfish friends by her side, Dory sets off on an adventure across the ocean to California's Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium. On her journey to find her mother (Diane Keaton) and father (Eugene Levy), Dory enlists the help of three MLI residents: Hank (Ed O'Neill), a slightly crabby octopus; Bailey (Ty Burrell), a beluga whale with sonar issues; and Destiny (Kaitlin Olson), a nearsighted whale shark. Other Finding Nemo favorites are back, including Willem Dafoe as Gill, a moorish idol; Vicki Lewis as Deb (and her sister "Flo", Deb's reflection), a 4-striped damselfish; Bob Peterson as Mr. Ray, a spotted eagle ray; John Ratzenberger as the school of Moonfish; and director Andrew Stanton as Crush, a Green sea turtle. The trailer also introduces two sea lions, voiced by Idris Elba and Dominic West, as well as Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon, who cameo as fishes. DeGeneres recently described reprising her role as "effortless," telling Disney twenty-three, "I was really surprised. I kind of worried that I would sound like Lauren Bacall all of a sudden. But it was easy. Dory is, I guess, really part of me. And so it surprised me how easy it was." "It really is a whole new chapter this time," says Stanton, whose other credits include A Bug's Life and WALL-E. "We're introducing new characters -- each with his or her own unique voice. Everyone has something special to offer, which makes it fun and elevates the whole story. Finding Nemo was a great calling card when it came to casting this movie. I don't take that for granted." Finding Dory is in theaters June 17. (Eonline)

Hunger Games Star Sam Claflin Hopeful for Prequels: It "Absolutely" Could Be Done. Is Suzanne Collins working on prequels for her The Hunger Games? Sam Claflin, who played Finnick Odair in the hit movie franchise, says he's hopeful the bestselling author is game for some prequels. "The great thing about what Suzanne Collins did was to create a world where people want to learn more about it and I think they absolutely have the platform to do [prequels]," the British actor told me this weekend while promoting Me Before You (in theaters on June 3). Claflin even has some story ideas. "I think there's so many juicy elements to this story, elements that people want to know more about, I think telling the story of how the Hunger Games first started that to me is interesting," he said, adding, "To see Woody Harrelson's character do his Hunger Games? I think it really really is something that could be done." Back in late 2015, Lionsgate vice chairman Michael Burns reportedly said at a UBS Global Media and Communications Conference that the studio was looking at the possibility of developing prequels to the hit franchise because he said it had the potential to live on like the Harry Potter franchise. At the time, Jennifer Lawrence dismissed the idea. "Screw that," Lawrence told E! News. "No, way too soon. No support. I think it's too soon. The body's not even cold yet." (Eonline)

It should be an interesting day shooting on Oscar-winner Julianne Moore's new movie "Wonderstruck," on June 9. The movie sent out a casting call for "1977 42nd Street prostitute types .?.?. comfortable in form-fitting attire, possibly short skirt or shorts & halter tops/tube tops." And, just to be even more clear, the SAG-AFTRA casting notice adds, "This scene takes place in 1977 and will require women who are mostly pretty slender with hair." The movie, by "Carol" director Todd Haynes, is based on the novel by Brian Selznick and about the interconnected lives of two deaf children who escape to New York. It's been shooting in Brooklyn and will be released by Amazon. (Page Six)

'X-Men: Apocalypse' Review: Jennifer Lawrence's 'Generic' Superhero Flick Will Only Please Die-Hard Fans. If these names don't sound familiar -- or fill you with instant, unfettered glee -- then sit out this perfunctory installment of the X-Men series. Deep investment in the history of Professor X's hair loss and Jean Grey's psychic skills set is a must. X-Men: Apocalypse (in theaters Friday, May 27) is the sixth chapter of the Marvel comic book franchise since 2000. (That doesn't include the two Wolverine stand-alones). The dormant series enjoyed resurgence thanks to 2011's 1960s-era X-Men: First Class, which was sleek, clever and birthed two superstars in Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender. The stakes and the cast increased for 2014's Days of Future Past, set in the 1970s. Now we're in the 1983. And the "Greed Is Good" decade is, well, not great to our favorite mutants. They're stuck in a meh plot and subpar special effects. The characters are rescued, of course. But their savior is not a superhero -- it's an awesome synth-pop '80s soundtrack. Sweet plots are made of this: A decade has passed since Magneto (Fassbender) tried to assassinate the president. He's Teddy Ruxpin compared to the titular, all-powerful ancient villain (Oscar Isaac, unrecognizable). Newly unearthed and none too pleased about his centuries-long slumber, the monster aims to build a new world order. He's well on his way, thanks to his ability to transfer his sinister consciousness to others. That's how he recruits his Four Horsemen -- Magneto (Fassbender), Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Storm (Alexandra Shipp) and Angel (Ben Hardy). Stopping this madman and his disciples isn't going to be a walk in the laboratory. A flock is required. (Sorry, not a Flock of Seagulls. But you will hear them in the background.) How fortunate that Professor X (James McAvoy) is still running his Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at his mansion in upstate New York. His prized teen pupils include telepathic Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Cyclops, (Tye Sheridan), who can shoot energy beams out of his eyes. Also ready to fight on Team X: his childhood friend Mystique (Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Quicksilver (Evan Peters, a human highlight reel) and former love, CIA star Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne). This plans only falls into place after 90 minutes of frustratingly splintered storytelling. You'll need a notebook and an atlas to keep track of the mutants' whereabouts, as they're hiding out everywhere from Berlin to the Midwest. (Apocalypse himself is in Cairo). Only Magneto's backstory -- set in Poland -- features any semblance of intrigue: Working quietly at a factory under an assumed name, he can still summon his ability to control magnetism. But he doesn't unleash his powers for evil until death strikes his wife and daughter. Later, he becomes unglued while revisiting his horrific time in a concentration camp at Auschwitz. Leave it to the mesmerizing Fassbender to find the gritty pathos within a generic superhero flick. Lawrence, meanwhile, is visibly going through the shape-shifting motions. She may be an Oscar-winning actress, but she can't mask the look of franchise burn-out. When the mutants do finally face off, the payoff underwhelms. Don't come in expecting the soaring thrills of Captain America: Civil War or fearing the heavy-handed dreariness of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Consider this the not-so-happy medium. Sure, director Bryan Singer delivers a few jolts (Hugh Jackman's Wolverine cameo is a stunner). Yet, for the most part, the battle sequences fail to make an impact. It's 2016. Why must we be subjected to fiery blue lasers, CGI'ed explosions and The Mummy-like chaos in the Egyptian sands? Swap out the characters, and you'd swear you were watching the climax of Singer's original X-Men film 16 years ago. The dialogue is even clunkier. "You've got your warplanes," intones Lawrence, behaving like Katniss Everdeen minus the arrows. "Let's go to war!" Even the movie's snappiest, most self-aware line -- "at least we can agree that the third one is the worst" -- elicited more groans than laughs in the theater. The film ends with the mutants continuing to master their powers. Perhaps for the next go-round they can learn how to add pizzazz to a tired script. (US Weekly)

John Carpenter Partners With Jason Blum on New 'Halloween' Movie. "Thirty-eight years after the original 'Halloween,' I'm going to help to try to make the 10th sequel the scariest of them all," said the director behind the original film. John Carpenter is getting back into the Halloween spirit with a little help from Jason Blum. Carpenter will executive produce the new addition to the franchise, which will be produced by Blum under his Blumhouse banner. Malek Akkad (2007's Halloween) will also serve as a producer through his Trancas banner. The new movie will be co-financed by Blumhouse and Miramax, which holds the worldwide distribution rights. David Thwaites will oversee the project for Miramax. "Thirty-eight years after the original Halloween, I'm going to help to try to make the 10th sequel the scariest of them all," said Carpenter. Added Blum: "Halloween is one of those milestone films that inspired everyone at our company to get into the world of scary movies. The great Malek Akkad and John Carpenter have a special place in the hearts of all genre fans, and we are so excited that Miramax brought us together." Bringing Carpenter and Blum together means the new Halloween movie will be old-school horror meets new-school scares. Aside from launching the Halloween films, the horror savant is responsible for classics like The Thing and Village of the Damned. Blum is responsible for modern horror franchises like Insidious and Paranormal Activity and this summer will release The Purge: Election Year. Carpenter is repped by APA and Stankevich. '2 Broke Girls' Creator Whitney Cummings to Make Directorial Debut. The comedian will co-write and star in the relationship comedy 'The Female Brain.' Whitney Cummings, co-creator of hit sitcom 2 Broke Girls, is set to make her directorial debut with The Female Brain, a relationship comedy the comedian co-wrote with Neal Brennan. Cummings will also star in the film, based on Louann Brizendine's non-fiction book of the same name, which looks at the neurology behind romantic relationships. Black Bicycle Entertainment is financing, and Erika Olde will produce the film alongside Night and Day Pictures' Michael Roiff. Casting is currently underway, with principal photography set to begin in July in Los Angeles. "The Female Brain is a book that profoundly changed my life, and I'm really proud of how Neal Brennan and I wrote the script in a way that addresses how both men and women are often challenged and undermined by their reptilian brains and primordial fears," said Cummings. "I'm really grateful Black Bicycle is letting me make a science comedy!" Cummings next appears alongside Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson in Denise Di Novi's Unforgettable for Warner Bros. Black Bicycle Entertainment recently announced Hallie Meyers-Shyer's Home Again with Rose Byrne attached to star, which they are financing and producing alongside Nancy Meyers. The company is financing and producing Claire and Jake Scott's The Burning Woman-both with Scott Free Productions and written by Brad Ingelsby (Run All Night, Out of the Furnace). Cummings is represented by CAA and Mosaic. Olde is also represented by CAA, which represents the film's worldwide distribution rights. (Hollywood Reporter)

The video of a Texas mom cracking up over her new mask has racked up over 140 million views on Facebook, but who knew James Corden was just trying to get a lift to work the whole time? In a sketch on Corden's Late Late Show Monday night, Candace Payne enjoys her new toy while the late night host, in the passenger seat, grumbles about being late. "I have got to get to work. Is there any way we can leave now?" Corden pleas. "I'm such a happy Chewbacca!" Payne cheers before bursting into laughter again. "I know you're a happy Chewbacca," replies a grumpy Corden before adding that the character's mask sounds nothing like the real thing. Suddenly, Star Wars director J.J. Abrams – who has "been here the whole time"-gives a quick note to perfect Payne's Wookiee impression with his own Chewie mask. Corden, who had been playing like he was annoyed, finally joins in the fun. Corden also sat down with the Dallas mother of two, where she explained why she made the video that made her an internet sensation. "I'm a stay-at-home mom. I only had a few minutes before I had to go get my kids from school. I wanted to prove to all my Facebook friends and family that that mask was mine," Payne tells Corden. "I knew the moment [my children] saw it, they were going to take it from me. And I'm like, 'I didn't buy it for you, little kids.' I love you, but this isn't for you" Payne says she had to text a friend when she saw the video had 1,000 views. By the time she went to bed that day, it was at 1 million. When she woke up the next morning, there were over 20 million views. Corden also had a surprise for Payne-a message from Peter Mayhew, the actor who wore the Chewbacca suit in the classic Star Wars movies. Mayhew praised her joyous video and its message to enjoy the little things and invited her to a fan expo in her hometown so he could meet her. (People)

The Bachelorette Premiere Recap: Santa Claus, Unicorns, and JoJo's Former Bachelor Surprise. Merry Christmas! Oh, is it not Christmas? Are you sure? Because we feel like we've just been given a great gift in the form of the Bachelorette, who sat on Santa's lap and hopefully asked for a season of drama, more drama, and boundless stupidity in the name of love. We have absolutely no idea what possessed one guy to arrive at the mansion dressed as Santa Claus Monday night, but we thank him for doing so. That big red coat and complete lack of sex appeal (sorry, Santa doesn't do it for us) managed to distract us from the even more cringe-worthy arrivals that some of the other men tried to pull off. One guy (the self-described hipster?) decided to use his first moments with JoJo to express his disinterest. "I didn't watch last season. I know nothing about you whatsoever." Cool story dude! Grant, who was otherwise unremarkable, dropped this line, to the only girl he was going to be hanging out with for the next few weeks: "I'm not gonna fall in love with two girls, I'm just gonna fall in love with you." JoJo's response? "Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" And then there was Canadian Daniel. Oh, Canadian Daniel. He decided to emerge from the limo with, "Damn, JoJo! Back at it again as the next Bachelorette." She didn't get his reference to the viral internet video, and instead of just letting it go and moving on, Daniel felt he should spend some of his valuable alone time with JoJo to explain. "Someone made a video with Damn JoJo?!" JoJo asked excitedly after he tried. It was just so awkward and terrible. We guess we can cut Daniel a tiny bit of slack, given that this was probably filmed at the height of Damn Daniel popularity, but that is the only slack we will cut him. After he joked about a guy trying too hard by taking off his shirt and saying "look at my body," guess what he did? He got very drunk and shed all of his clothes so that everyone would look at his body! He also seemed to have a real problem with how hot everyone else was, and at one point he poked some other men's bellybuttons, and no one was sure what that was about. It was all massively unappealing, and every time we saw him wandering the mansion in those tiny underpants, we got a strong urge to punch something. How everyone else managed to get through the night without punching him, we may never know. Multiple guys actually went a bit too heavy on the alcohol, and at times it felt a bit like JoJo was the babysitter for a bunch of unruly children, instead of their potential future wife. On the better side of things, JoJo definitely made a couple of instant connections. Aaron Rodgers' little brother, Jordan, gave us some Shawn Booth vibes as he pretty much eclipsed all the other men with his looks, charm, and confidence. Confidence on this show is kind of tricky sometimes, because it's so easy to seem like a cocky asshole, but at least for Monday night, anyone who had a little bit of confidence was actually a breath of fresh air compared to all the petty insults being thrown around by most of the guys. Compared to a lot of them, Jordan acted like an adult, which is why he got the first real kiss, and why JoJo was literally swooning after being in his presence. I mean, any man who can make the pre-kiss words "I'm goofy, oh I'm goofy," still sound hot is a talented man indeed. JoJo also seemed to find some attraction in Chad, but you know, first there's the name Chad. Then there's Chad's attempts to use "you're not like other girls" as his main seduction technique. JoJo liked how mysterious he seemed, and he was pretty sure he was just as "soft and supple and nice" as Ben ever was. Sure. JoJo also had a good time with James, and Santa Claus, and she seemed to enjoy the piano talents of Ali, and Unicorn Rider Luke, but in the end, the first impression rose went to none other than Jordan. So is this a Kaitlyn season, where the first impression rose went to the man she ended up picking, or a Ben season, where Olivia -- as some of the guys noted -- got left on an island? Only time will tell, we guess, but we have a feeling this might be a Kaitlyn season. Just before the actual rose ceremony got started, former Bachelor Jake Pavelka arrived, and whisked JoJo away to give her some advice. Yes, Jake Pavelka dramatically showed up during the rose ceremony to give JoJo advice, which mostly consisted of "follow your gut" while all the guys chimed in with a preview of how they would react if they found out he was joining the show. It was dumb, and a waste of time. Goodbye forever, Jake Pavelka. Anyway, then it was actually time for the rose ceremony, and despite his drunken show, Canadian Daniel got the final rose. Of course the show had to keep the craziest, least viable guy on past night one, because where else would they get their drama and their future Clorox bleachable moments?! Chinese-Scottish John was sent home, along with Peter, and another guy or two whose name we didn't yet know. So far, no one we'll really miss. Then, the best part of any Bachelor Nation premiere: the super tease! This season, there's gonna be fights, and police cars, and bloody knuckles! Verizon Won't Buy "Big Network Company," Yahoo Deal Would Boost Scale, CEO Says. A coy Lowell McAdam didn't share more details of the Yahoo auction at an investor conference. Verizon Communications CEO Lowell McAdam was cautious Tuesday with comments about the bidding process for Yahoo, but did signal continued interest in the struggling web portal. "We can't talk about Yahoo. But that's a possibility to gain greater scale," McAdam told analysts while talking about Verizon's mobile-first video strategy at the 44th JPMorgan Technology, Media and Telecom conference in Boston. The telecom giant is understood to have made a bid for Yahoo's core operations, which would help boost the company's online reach after its acquisition of AOL for $4.4 billion. It would help the phone giant drive video content to its expanding digital platforms, including AOL.com and the Go90 service. McAdam on Tuesday also stressed that Verizon was moving slowly and nimbly into the content space. "I know your question is 'are we going to go and buy a big network company'," he said at one point, before the conference moderator added he wasn't allowed to ask that question. He still got an answer. "We're not doing that. I don't think we need to do that," McAdam said. Verizon submitted an initial bid for Yahoo as millennials increasingly become a core focus for the company. "If you believe that mobile is going to be the viewing choice for the millennials as they go through the internet and video, then having those platforms that would help drive traffic on the network are critical," McAdam told investors. Next-round bids for Yahoo are believed to be due in early June. The phone giant also recently acquired a stake in AwesomenessTV and partnered with Hearst to jointly acquire male-focused media company Complex. While not directly answering questions about the Yahoo bidding, McAdam did tell Hollywood a lot about what Verizon, seen as a front-runner in the Yahoo hunt, will do on the video streaming side if it doesn't acquire the company's core business. "Video has been a major strategic move for us," he told the J.P. Morgan conference. That drive has come mostly through its free, ad-supported Go90 service. "Far and away, the largest driver of traffic on a mobile network is video, at this point. And we're seeing it grow 50 percent, year-over-year," McAdam explained. Verizon is partnering with Hollywood players like Hearst, DreamWorks and AwesomenessTV, and buying content from the NFL and the NBA, to drive premium video to Go90 and its other digital platforms. The strategy is to target young people who use the smartphone and the tablet as their main video viewing platforms. (Hollywood Reporter)

'UnREAL' Season 2 Will Pit Rachel and Quinn Against Each Other. The cast and EPs broke down the "central love story" of the show and talked about the impact of featuring a black suitor. UnREAL set the bar high with insane antics in the Bachelor-inspired fictitious TV reality show Everlasting in season one, and it's only going to get crazier in its sophomore run. "I didn't think we could go this dark," star Constance Zimmer, who plays Quinn, said Monday at the Lifetime drama's Paley Center panel. "It's pretty dirty!" When panel host -- and former Bachelorette -- Andi Dorfman asked about the season's most shocking moments, B.J. Britt, who plays new suitor Darius Beck, immediately responded, "A lot of shirts off." Some of those shirtless moments may include a burgeoning bromance with Chet (Craig Bierko) and Jeremy (Josh Kelly). "You'll see what guys do when they think they're doing the right thing because they're bumbling through heartbreak or depression," Kelly said. "They're trying to cheer each other up and it always ends up with someone hitting somebody else," Bierko added with a laugh. At the end of season one, Quinn and Rachel (Shiri Appleby) both cut ties with their former love interests -- Chet and Jeremy, respectively -- and can now focus more time on Everlasting... and each other. "[Rachel and Quinn's relationship] is really the central love story of the show," Appleby explained. "It's not really about Rachel and Quinn finding love with men -- it's about them being working women together." But that doesn't mean their working relationship won't be rocky. "This season what's been hard for us is Rachel and Quinn are at odds with each other. We're always plotting when we're apart," Zimmer added. "I went to [co-creator] Sarah [Gertrude Shapiro] and said, 'We come together in the end, right? We have to be back together!'" One couple that likely won't get back together anytime soon is Chet and Quinn. "He's kind of out of control," Bierko warned. In between Everlasting seasons, Chet goes to a Paleolithic retreat, loses 50 pounds, and becomes a men's rights activist. When he returns, "He wants to get his kingdom back and he's very much in love with Quinn." Kelly echoed that sentiment for his character, exclaiming, "Of course he loves [Rachel]!" Showrunner Carol Barbee said that all the show's storylines "always start with Quinn and Rachel," but within Everlasting, things are "peopled around our black suitor for maximum crazy," including a racist, Confederate-flag-bikini-wearing contestant confused about her feelings for Darius. Appleby added that Rachel will feel "less guilt about taking women down" because her focus is on "producing and torturing Darius." Even though Shapiro considered having a Bachelorette-esque season two, she ultimately felt pulled in a different direction. "What was really screaming at me was having a black bachelor," she said. "There's no repressing conversation in the nation right now. I thought it was an interesting thing to explore in terms of black masculinity but also really scary to do as a white woman. ... In sophomore seasons of shows it's so important to not imitate yourself and not outdo yourself. It's not repeating what you did in season one but responding to what your characters want and need. And what Rachel needs is to have purpose." Britt admitted "it's a lot of pressure" to play the first black bachelor because "you want to get it right," but it's all worth it for the payoff. "It's a long time coming and UnREAL is just breaking down doors and doing what should have been done years ago," he continued. "I hope it opens more doors for diversity in the industry." UnREAL season two premieres Monday, June 6 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime. (Hollywood Reporter)
