Liam Hemsworth Refuses to Read Anything About His Relationship With Miley Cyrus. Did you read the latest article about Miley Cyrus? If you're asking Liam Hemsworth, the answer is likely a big fat no. As the actor continues to face plenty of attention and scrutiny when it comes to his relationship with the "We Can't Stop" singer, there is one thing Liam wants to make clear: He doesn't read any of the articles and reports out there in the press. "Look, my private life is my private life, and you know, it's important to me to keep it private," he shared while being featured in American Airline's American Way magazine. "I used to, but what's the point?" He continued, "Everything that is written is made up. They don't know. They don't know what's going on. Story after story gets made up and that's all they can write, but they don't know." And for those fans still hoping for a wedding update or a taste of their special bond, you're not going to get it here. Instead, you can look forward to Liam's movie career that the magazine proudly proclaims is on the rise. While the Independence Day: Resurgence star hasn't selected his next film quite yet, Chris Hemsworth's brother has been reading many scripts. And unlike some familiar faces in Hollywood, Liam isn't interested in taking on a project just for a paycheck. Instead, there needs to be something special in the script to get him deeply invested. "I don't want to do films for the sake of working," he explained. "I want to do films that I think are going to be good." Read Liam's full interview with American Airline's American Way magazine online now. (Eonline)

No love lost there! John Carney, who directed Kiera Knightley in the 2013 movie Begin Again, has slammed the actress for her lack of music and acting skills, and criticized her for having a large and constant entourage. In an explosive interview with Britain's Independent newspaper, Carney, who is promoting his new movie, Sing Street, compared his experiences of working on his current movie with unknown actors, with those of working with Oscar nominee Knightley previously. "Keira has an entourage that follow her everywhere so it's very hard to get any real work done," the director revealed. "I was very ready to come back to Ireland and make films that nobody cared about who was in it or any of that crap." Carney said he felt Begin Again (which also starred Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine) struggled to be realistic, in part because Knightley was not really a singer or musician. "I think the real problem was that Keira wasn't a singer and wasn't a guitar player and it's very hard to make music seem real if it's not with musicians," the director said. "And I think the audience struggled a little bit with that in Begin Again. And as much as I tried to make it work, I think that she didn't quite come out as a guitar-playing singer-songwriter. So I really wanted to work with musicians and actors that could play their instruments properly and sing and stuff like that," he said of his new movie. Carney added that his experience of working on a higher profile production had not been pleasant at all. "I was a bit disenchanted with working with certain movie stars in that movie," he continued. "I didn't enjoy that experience of paparazzi and fabulous openings. The movie-star world is not something that ever appealed to me." And his experience taught him a lesson, he said, criticizing Knightley once again in the process: "I learned that I'll never make a film with supermodels again." Not everyone in Begin Again got a slating. Carney said Ruffalo was a "fantastic actor" and Levine was a "joy to work with," mainly because he wasn't scared "of exposing himself on camera and exploring who he is as an individual." Cue another opportunity to bash Knightley: "I think that that's what you need as an actor; you need to not be afraid to find out who you really are when the camera's rolling. Keira's thing is to hide who you are and I don't think you can be an actor and do that." Just in case his point wasn't totally clear, Carney continued that in future, he would work with "proper film actors as opposed to movie stars." "I don't want to rubbish Keira, but you know it's hard being a film actor," he went on. "It requires a certain level of honesty and self-analysis that I don't think she's ready for yet and I certainly don't think she was ready for on that film." (US Weekly)

Judge Grants Amber Heard's Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against Johnny Depp. Amber Heard has gone to court and filed a domestic violence restraining order against Johnny Depp, E! News confirms. Heard's restraining order request comes less than a week after the actress filed for divorce from the star. She cited irreconcilable differences in the documents. In court, Heard presented a photograph, obtained by E! News, as evidence, which shows what appears to be a bruise on her right eye. E! News has reached out to their reps for comment. As for why Heard filed while Depp was out of town promoting Alice Through the Looking Glass, a source tells E! News, "This is not about right now. It's an ongoing thing that she needs protection from." "She did what she had to do to protect herself," the source adds. "It wasn't an easy decision, but this is the truth. It was very hard for her." Depp and Heard were married for 15 months before calling it quits. The Pirates of the Caribbean star broke his silence about the split Thursday via a statement from his rep. "Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life," the rep told E! News. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly. "A source previously told us that the former couple does not have a prenuptial agreement in place. According to court documents, Heard is asking for spousal support, but Depp filed response paperwork that asked the judge deny that request. The two met on the set of the 2011 film The Rum Diary and were wed in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home before celebrating in front of family and friends in the Bahamas. UPDATE: The judge has granted Heard's request for a domestic violence restraining order. The temporary restraining order, obtained by E! News, requires Depp to stay 100 yards away from Heard until a hearing next month. The judge also gave Heard the right to live in the family home; however, the judge denied some of Heard's requests, including having Depp stay away from one of her dogs. The judge argued that there was an "insufficient showing of need to protect pet dog". (Eonline)

Amber Heard had no evidence of any injuries when cops came to her home Saturday night after getting a 911 call ... this according to LAPD law enforcement sources. As we reported, when cops arrived Amber refused to file a police report. She now claims Johnny hurled a cell phone at her face, badly bruising her eye, but our law enforcement sources say they saw no injury at all. In fact, we're told she never alleged any brutality ... just that they had an argument. Our sources say she refused to offer any more information, so they left. As we reported, sources connected with Johnny say Amber is lying ... making up the domestic violence story. One of the things Johnny points to is Instagram ... Amber was tagged in a pic showing she was partying with friends Sunday, the day after the alleged attack. The photo was deleted on Friday after the news media spotted it. The LAPD says they had no reason to believe Johnny Depp struck Amber Heard with his phone when they were called to the couple's apartment. (TMZ)

Lily-Rose Depp Defends Johnny Depp Amid Domestic Abuse Allegations, Says Father "Is the Sweetest Most Loving Person.'' Lily-Rose Depp is breaking her silence on her father's divorce from Amber Heard. On Friday, a judge granted Amber's request for a domestic abuse restraining order against the Through the Looking Glass actor and no one from his family has spoken out until now. Lily-Rose, who was just named the face of Chanel No. 5, posted a throwback photo on Instagram showing her father holding her as a toddler. "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same." As of Friday, the judge ordered that Johnny stay 100 yards away from Amber and said that the Magic Mike actress has a right to stay and live in the family home. Amber's restraining order request came just days after she filed for divorce from the star, citing irreconcilable differences in the court documents. In court on Friday, Amber and her attorneys presented a photograph, obtained by E! News, which shows what appears to be a bruise on her right eye. Upon leaving the courthouse, Amber looked visibly bruised and solemn as she made her way into a chauffeured vehicle. A source told E! News at the time, "This is not about right now. It's an ongoing thing that she needs protection from. She did what she had to do protect herself." Our insider added, "It wasn't an easy decision, but this is the truth. It was very hard for her." The troops are lining up behind Johnny Depp ... this time his 17-year-old daughter is clearly saying Amber Heard is not to be believed. Lily-Rose Depp posted this pic of her and Johnny back in the day, with the caption, "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same." Vanessa Paradis Breaks Silence on Johnny Depp Domestic Abuse Allegations. More people close to Johnny Depp are publicly speaking out in defense of the actor. Vanessa Paradis, Depp's ex and the mother of his two children, reportedly wrote a letter defending her former partner of 14 years. "Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving a loved person," Paradis allegedly wrote in the letter obtained by TMZ. E! News has not yet confirmed the letter, and a rep for the French actress and singer has not returned request for comment. The handwritten letter continues, "I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations made are outrageous, in all the years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years." Earlier Sunday, Lily-Rose Depp took to Instagram to give her father support and weigh in on the domestic abuse allegations made by Johnny's soon-to-be ex-wife, Amber Heard. "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know," she wrote alongside a throwback photo of her dad holding her as a toddler. Glee's Mark Salling Indicted on Child Pornography Charges. Former Glee actor Mark Salling was charged Fridays in a federal indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography, according to a U.S. Attorney's Office press release. "Those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed," U.S. Attorney Eileen M. Decker said in a statement. "Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed." The 33-year-old actor was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of child pornography following his arrest last December. Last year, the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served a search warrant at Salling's Sunland, Calif., address and seized a personal computer -- which, according to court documents, allegedly contained thousands of images and videos of child pornography. One count against the actor involves a flash drive which allegedly contains images of a minor under the age of 12. Should Salling be convicted of receiving child porn, he faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years behind bars. This isn't Salling's first run-in with police. Back in early 2013, the actor's ex Roxanne Gorzela filed a lawsuit accusing Salling of sexual battery and assault during a March 2011 incident. When the lawsuit was finally settled in March 2015, Salling was ordered by a judge to pay $2.7 million to Gorzela. TMZ first reported the news. (Eonline)

Johnny Manziel isn't the only thing out of control ... so was the Mercedes he rented, and the guy who owns it went on a mission Friday to track the QB down and demand a sizable check. Johnny was leaving Trump Soho in NYC when it became apparent his SUV was being blocked by a fleet of cars from Precision Concierge. Seems Wayne, the owner, got wind Johnny was there and he wanted to settle a score. You'll recall last month TMZ Sports broke the story ... Johnny rented a Mercedes in L.A. and it crashed into a pole on the Sunset Strip, totaling the car. Johnny and the driver, OVO Ryan from Drake's crew, fled but came back and fessed up. Here's the problem. The Benz was owned by Wayne's company, and Johnny hasn't forked over money for the whip. So Wayne and Johnny had words in NYC, and as you see in the video Wayne walked away a very unhappy man. (TMZ)

Chris Brown jacked a fan's hat during a concert ... at least according to the fan who now wants more than $2,000 for his troubles. According to the lawsuit filed by Marq Stevenson ... he went to CB's Dallas concert last year, and passed his cap to one of Brown's lackeys to get the singer to autograph it. Stevenson says he did NOT get Brown's John Hancock, and did NOT even get his cap back. In the suit, he says he DID get bullied by Brown's crew. He now says the hat was stolen, and wants compensation for the $25 lid. But that's not all -- he also wants $225 for his floor seat ticket, plus $2,500 for the bullying. Yes, that's $2,750 ... for a hat. Stevenson is no longer demanding an autograph. (TMZ)

Former "Blue Bloods" star Jennifer Esposito has reportedly skipped town months after her gluten-free bakery Jennifer's Way was hit with a $43 million lawsuit. Esposito "is taking off to Denmark for an undetermined amount of time," a source told Page Six. Investors, including the actress' British model husband Louis Dowler, hit Esposito with the suit in March. They allege Esposito's bakery is failing. They say she redirected the company's website to her personal blog and told consumers the products couldn't be trusted. "Esposito has instilled and promoted a groundless and downright false sense of fear that the very same products with the same recipes, coming from the same facility that she once stood behind are now unsafe to consume," the lawsuit reads. The source adds that the 43-year-old left the country to "process all of her legal woes." She is also in the middle of divorcing her second husband and investor Dowler. She was previously married to actor Bradley Cooper and engaged two more times before she married Dowler in 2014. This is not the first time Esposito has made headlines for a controversy. She memorably alleged in 2012 that she was put on indefinite leave from the CBS show "Blue Bloods" after informing the network of her Celiac disease diagnosis. "CBS. . . PUT me on unpaid leave and has blocked me from working anywhere else after my doc said u needed a reduced schedule due to celiac," Esposito tweeted at the time. "CBS didn't listen to my doc and I collapsed on set. Which everyone saw! After a week off my doc said I could return to work but CBS implied that I was NOT truly ill and this was a scheme to get a raise!" CBS responded saying, "Jennifer has informed us that she is only available to work on a very limited part-time schedule. As a result, she's unable to perform the demands of her role and we regretfully had to put her character on a leave of absence . . . We hope that she will be able to return at some point in the future." A rep for Esposito did not return FOX411's request for comment. (Fox News)

THE OTHER STUFF . . .

Prince Philip to Miss Upcoming Event on Doctor's Orders. Prince Philip has to sit the next public appearance out as a result of his doctor's orders. Queen Elizabeth II's husband was set to attend Tuesday's commemorations to mark the Battle of Jutland, but the 94-year-old royal has "reluctantly" decided to cancel his appearance following a visit from his doctor. Buckingham Palace released a statement saying Princess Anne, who was already slated to attend, will go to the Northeastern Scotland event and represent the family. As of now, Prince Philip hasn't canceled any other events, nor has he said to be ill; however, in the past he has suffered from heart disease, which caused him to slim down his packed schedule. Prince Philip caused concern in August 2012 when he was rushed to the hospital. It was reported that no one was allowed to visit because he needed rest, but after five days he walked out of the hospital and looked healthy. A senior nurse staff described the royal as a "very good patient" at the time. "As he left he told staff to behave themselves and said he was going back to enjoy the rest of his holiday," she continued. All that rest proved to be exactly what he needed because since then he has been out and about, even getting sassy from time to time with photographers -- he obviously didn't lose his sense of humor! In July 2015, Prince Philip and grandson Prince William attended an RAF photocall to honor the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, and the Duke of Edinburgh lost his temper. "Just take the f--king picture," Prince Philip could be heard telling the photographer. His f-bomb drop was met with laughter and a hilarious smirk by Prince William. But it got the point across as the picture was swiftly taken afterwards! Now it's time for Prince Philip to rest up again so he can return to sassing those slow photographers. (Eonline)

"We've bought her every single 'I'm a big sister' book that's out there and she's a bookworm, so she's coming around." And The Office alum opened up about Hazel during a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he said she's becoming quite the chatterbox. "She is talking. She's talking a lot," he said. And she's starting to pick up on Emily's accent." We can't wait to meet your little boy or girl! (Eonline)

Mariah Carey spoiled her taste buds with some fresh sea grub that could end up on a super exclusive menu -- the one for her wedding to James Packer. Mimi and a couple friends stopped by Cousins Maine Lobster in West Hollywood, where she indulged on a lobster roll and lobster martini ... served in a martini glass and garnished with an olive, lemon and butter. Mariah must be a BIG "Shark Tank" fan 'cause she totally recognized owners, Jim and Sabin, who were on the show in 2012. Not only did she tip VERY generously ... we're told she loved the food so much she got their info for a potential catering gig in the future. Hmmm ... not like she has much planned for this summer. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Baby Girl Can't Keep Her Eyes Off Daddy's Meaningful Tattoos. As one of Hollywood's biggest stars, there's a lot to love about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. But according to one Instagram, it may just be his impressive tattoos that daughter Jasmine Johnson can't get enough of. While enjoying Memorial Day weekend, the Baywatch and Fast & Furious 8 star took a break from filming to spend some quality father-daughter time. Along the way, his youngest child with Lauren Hashian couldn't help but have her eyes glued to his ink jobs. "After I feed her, Jasmine just loves looking at daddy's tattoos. I think it helps her digest," he shared on Instagram Sunday morning. "Can't wait to one day explain to her what all this means. Chat about her cultures (Samoan, Armenian, African American and Italian). And while these symbols may appear to be primitive, unsophisticated and crude - they're extremely sacred, thousands of years old and very powerful." He continued, "My mana (strength). Ironically enough the symbol she's fixated on is our ATUA (our God) protected by the small building blocks of my life and then by shark teeth." Ever since welcoming his adorable family member last Christmas, the actor has been vocal about how he hopes to raise his daughter. And while he may appear to be a buff, intimidating A-list actor, when it comes to his family, The Rock can't help but be a softy. "I had just one wish I asked the universe... Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday," he recently wrote on social media. "If I can accomplish that, then I'd have a good shot at being a great father." Something tells us you are well on your way, sir. "Yuuuuup, we gonna have some good daddy/daughter chats," he concluded. "Until then she'll continue to use daddy's tattoos as a place to scratch, drool and spit up. #Tatua #PolyCulture #FaaSamoa #Respect #SpitUpOnDaddy #Yay." (Eonline)

Paris Jackson Goes to Prom, Dyes Her Hair to Match Friend's Dress. Paris Jackson surely had an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend! The teenager revealed on social media that she went to prom with her pal Saturday night, and she was sure to post a snapshot for her legions of fans to see. The 18-year-old is shown posing next to her date wearing a suit and a bright blue tie to match her newly dyed hair. Her pal's silk dress matched perfectly with the tie and Paris' 'do and Paris wrote, "Only true friends dye their hair to match their gal's prom gown," alongside the prom photo. Meanwhile, her date posted a solo shot (taken by Paris) and captioned it, "A fun night with a fun lady and the best date anyone could ask for." But before getting ready for prom, Paris was busy getting new tattoos earlier this month in honor of her late father, Michael Jackson. She showed off her latest artwork, which was inspired by the legendary singer's Dangerous album cover art, and explained her reasoning behind getting the new ink. "'The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation,'" she began by writing. "Never forget your roots, and always be proud of where you came from." And just one month earlier, Paris posted another tattoo she got which paid tribute to her dad. "'Queen of My Heart' in his handwriting. To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart. Thank you @dermagraphink, you're a legend." (Eonline)

Have Mercy! The Full House Abode Is For Sale and You Won't Believe How It Looks Inside. If you thought the creation of Fuller House was epic news, we've got something that may or may not upstage that. If you're a true Full House fan, the Tanner family digs can be yours. The house is going for a serious $4,150,000, but who knows what could happen. We recommend purchasing a lottery ticket or gluing a pic of the place to your manifestation board. Don't judge us. Dreams do come true, okay? The house sits on 1709 Broderick St., in San Francisco and has three beds and four bathrooms, according to Realtor.com. The outside of the Victorian home is a far cry from what we got used to on the show. A while back we told you that the owners painted the facade a jarring shade of eggplant, and it looks like that color has stuck around. We guess one of the reasons they did that was to appear less recognizable to hungry, selfie-taking fans? Who knows. Perhaps that tactic didn't work, since the house is now for sale. The interior looks nothing like it did on the show, either. Why? Realtor.com notes, Full House was filmed on a sound stage in an entirely different city. The front of the house was only used for the opening credits, and shots used to establish location. Chances are we're not going to end up in this house, but we're willing to pin a rose on the nose of the person who does. (Eonline)

Jennifer Lopez just sealed the deal on one of the best houses in all of Los Angeles ... TMZ has learned. Our real estate spies tell us, J Lo closed on an 8-acre Bel-Air estate and got a deal. The prior owner, Sela Ward, was asking $40 mil and we're told Jennifer snagged it for a very reasonable $28 mil. The property is spectacular ... the main house is 13,000 square feet, and get this ... it has its own lake and a beach! The architecture is French stone country villa ... and super romantic. To get to the front door you walk across a covered bridge, above a creek. J Lo, who was repped by super realtor Brett Lawyer, is selling her Hidden Hills estate for $12.5 mil. That house is also great ... 17,000 square feet on 3 acres. She's got a small house on a way bigger lot. $28 mil buys a lot, right? (TMZ)

The Vegas home Michael Jackson rented from 2007 until his death is up for sale ... for $9.5 million. It's 24,276 square feet and ridiculously -- but at the same time spectacularly -- ornate. It's even got a Medieval chapel. It's not Jackson's furniture, but it was redesigned to match his taste. It beats Excalibur by a mile. (TMZ)

Tamra Judge Is Buffer Than Ever During Muscle Mania Fitness Competition. Tamra Judge has been working around the clock to be in the shape of her life for the Muscle Mania fitness competition -- and it's pretty clear that all of her hard work has paid off! The Real Housewives of Orange County star has posted a slew of photos documenting her prep for the big competition and last night was the main event. "Hard work, determination and it all comes down to tonight," she wrote on Instagram before thanking her glam squad, her friends and family, and her trainer who has coached her throughout the entire process. Meanwhile, her husband Eddie Judge posted a photo of his significant other posing proudly on stage alongside her competition. "Update! This girl looks hot! Competition is about enjoying the journey. Today is all fun and games. Take life too serious and it's no longer worth all the hard work put into something you love to do. Thank you for all your support." Tamra also posted photos of her on stage celebrating the end of the event with her husband and two children. And it looks like the fun didn't end with Muscle Mania! The 48-year-old shared pics from her dinner after the entire experience and smiled from ear-to-ear next to a heaping plate of nachos. "Amazing experience," she wrote earlier after celebrating with her loved ones. "But it's time to relax and enjoy the holiday weekend with friends and family." (Eonline)

Johnny Manziel went missing in action this weekend when he was supposed to host a small party in the Hamptons for close friends and family. The fallen football star was supposed to take a Blade helicopter out east on Saturday, but didn't show for his flight. We're told they waited 15 minutes for him, but left after he failed to answer his phone. On Friday night, Manziel got into a confrontation outside the Trump Soho after he and his pals previously crashed a rented Mercedes in LA, and the owner of the fleet of cars tracked him down and came looking for him. Johnny Depp conducted rock business as usual over the weekend, performing with his group the Hollywood Vampires in Germany. Johnny, Alice Cooper and the rest of the gang took the stage in the Hessentags Arena. As for Amber Heard's allegations ... he clearly believes there's no reason to hide. He says she's a liar who is just trying to score a payday. (TMZ)

Ariana Grande Cancels Rock in Rio Performance Due to Throat and Sinus Infection. Although Ariana Grande had a successful week in album sales, she delivered some sad news to fans planning to see her perform live at Portugal's Rock in Rio. The singer was forced to call off her festival set on doctor's orders while she overcomes a throat and sinus infection. Drake's 'Views' Still No. 1 on Billboard 200, Ariana Grande and Blake Shelton Debut at Nos. 2 & 3. "I'm deeply saddened to tell my babes in Portugal that I have to cancel my performance at Rock in Rio. (I've literally been crying over this for an hour)... Bruce Springsteen and Bono Perform 'Because the Night'. Bruce Springsteen fans were in for a homegrown surprise when the Boss' River Tour rolled into Dublin on the weekend. Springsteen was joined onstage with U2'sfrontman Bono for a cover of Patti Smith's "Because the Night." The superstar collab took place at Croke Park for the second of Springsteen's two shows in the Irish capital. Bono, who was born in Dublin, was returning a favor. When U2 concluded an eight-night stand at New York's Madison Square Garden last July, it was Springsteen who make the guest appearance. On that occasion, U2 and Springsteen teamed up for "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and a cover of Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" -- a song the Boss first performed with the Irish rockers onstage on Sept. 25, 1987 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. U2 and Springsteen have tackled Smith's classic on more than one occasion, including a rendition at MSG back in 2009 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. (Billboard)

Madonna Throws Shade Right Back at BET One Week After Paying Tribute to Prince. The shade throwing between Madonna and BET may be far from over. Less than a week after the cable network took aim at the legendary singer in a promo for the BET Awards, the "Lucky Girl" is firing back in her own fashionable way. "Wearing the jacket Prince gave me back in the day without permission from BET. Lol!" she wrote on Instagram. "God Bless America. And yes that's Marilyn!" While BET has not responded on social media to the latest Instagram, viewers can't help but remember their original post that started it off hours after the 2016 Billboard Music Awards aired. Once Madonna delivered her tribute to Prince, the channel tweeted out a new promo for its upcoming awards show. "Yeah we saw that. Don't worry. We Got You," the screen read under a purple image of Prince as it teased their planned tribute to the late legend. And for those keeping track, the original post has since been deleted from their accounts. While some people were quick to criticize Madonna's tribute both before and after the performance aired, the "Holiday" singer appeared grateful to be given the opportunity to honor a close friend. After taking center stage with Stevie Wonder for a rendition of "Nothing Compares to You" and "Purple Rain," Madonna summed up the experience in a defensive social media post. "Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age gender or skin color," she captioned online while wearing a purple boa and a bag that had "DEALER" printed on it. "If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever." She added in separate post, "This is my 'I'm not your bitch don't hang your s--t on me' dance." For those hoping to see if BET can deliver, you're going to have to watch the BET Awards airing Sunday, June 26 at 8 p.m. (Eonline)

Justin Bieber Sued for Allegedly Stealing Vocal Riffs in "Sorry." Will Justin Bieber have to say sorry? Casey Dienel, an indie artist who goes by the stage name White Hinterland, has sued Biebs for allegedly stealing a vocal rift from her song "Ring the Bell" and using it in his hit song "Sorry", according to NBC 24. Dienel claims Bieber and producer Skrillex used a "virtually identical" riff without permission. In addition to Bieber and Skrillex, the lawsuit, which was filed in Nashville, also names Universal Music Group as a defendant. E! News has reached out for comment. Dienel also claims the hit track uses synthesizers, samples, synth bass, drums and percussion that sound similar to those used in "Ring the Bell". The indie songstress also says she reached out to the "Love Yourself" crooner to discuss a potential resolution but was "ignored". Dienel is seeking unspecified damages, including profits from "Sorry," which has been viewed more than 1.4 million times on YouTube. Dienel's lawsuit comes on the heels of Bieber's lambasting of awards shows. The "What Do You Mean" crooner not only performed at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, but he also took home awards for Top Male Artist and Top Social Media Artist. Despite his victories, he didn't feel great. "I don't know about these award shows.. No disrespect to anybody at any of the shows or the people running it. Nothing but love for you guys and your support. But I don't feel good when I'm there nor after," Bieber, 22, wrote. "I try to think of it as a celebration but can't help feeling like people are rating and grading my performance. A lot of people in the audience there to be seem worried about how much camera time they will get or who they can network with." Bieber is in the middle of his Purpose World Tour, where he says he feels the love and devotion from his fans. Awards shows, on the other hand, don't feel genuine, he argued in his Instagram rant. "When I'm doing a regular show I feel they are there for the right reasons and to strictly have a good time! But these award shows seem so hollow. I get the premise is to award people for their accomplishments, but is it really?" he asked. "Because when I look in the audience I see a bunch of fake smiles so that when the camera hits them they look happy." Of course, Bieber acknowledged how grateful he is for the genuine support he's received from the industry. "I am privileged and honored to be recognized by my peers in but in these settings I can't feel the recognition. There's an authenticity missing that I crave! And I wonder does anybody else.." he said, without finishing his sentence. "Sorry not sorry about grammar it's not my strong point." (Eonline)

Justin Bieber's camp thinks they have sufficient evidence to throw out indie pop star White Hinterland's lawsuit claiming he stole her vocal loop for "Sorry." TMZ obtained a 25 second snippet that lays out how Blood, one of JB's co-producers on the song, manipulated a different female voice for the now famous loop that opens "Sorry." In the breakdown you hear the unidentified woman sing that "oohooh oohooh" at a regular tempo. It's then taken up a few octaves and repeated for the end result that went into the song. The important thing is ... Justin's camp denies using White Hinterland's voice at all. Listen to the clip ... it still sounds very similar to WH's original loop, but in her suit she says JB and co. used her actual voice and effects. We're told they believe this clip proves that just ain't the case. (TMZ)

Melissa McCarthy on Ghostbusters Reboot Haters: "I Just Hope They Find a Friend." Ever since it was announced that Paul Feig (The Heat, Bridesmaids) would be rebooting Ghostbusters with an all-female cast, the film has faced wave after wave of backlash. And every time a new photo or trailer comes out, the Internet is very vocal about how they don't want to see the classic 1984 film tarnished. Don't believe us? Just go to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn or literally anywhere on the Internet and search "Ghostbusters reboot." In a new interview with The Guardian, one of the stars of the film, Melissa McCarthy, has a message for the critics who are already bashing the film before stepping foot into a theater. "All those comments, 'You're ruining my childhood!' I mean, really," McCarthy says in the interview. "Four women doing any movie on earth will destroy your childhood?" She adds, "I have a visual of those people not having a Ben [Falcone], not having friends, so they're just sitting there and spewing hate into this fake world of the Internet. I just hope they find a friend." The all-female cast isn't the only thing the Monday Quarterbacks are complaining about online. They also take issue with the fact that the only African-American woman in the core cast, Leslie Jones, is portraying a street-wise character as opposed to a scientist. McCarthy insists Feig didn't intentionally place her in that role. "I think originally Paul had written me as that part and then he switched, so she could have been white, Hispanic," she explains. "It was truly just a coincidence. We're not doing those original characters." Ghostbusters, starring Jones, McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Kristen Wiig, hits theaters July 15. (Eonline)

Seal Is Scarily Attacked by a Wolf in New Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping Feature, in Theaters June 3. What do you get when you combine a wedding proposal, a pack of wolves, and Seal? Mayhem. Well, that's a scene you can expect to see in the upcoming, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, starring comedian Andy Samberg at the helm of the newly minted Lonely Island and Judd Apatow production. The SNL alum poses as Connor4Real, a world-famous performer with a flopping new album and sheer desperation for stardom. The mockumentary, which is set for release on June 3, stars a cast of eccentric characters, including Imogen Poots as Connor's love interest -- movie star Ashley Wednesday. According to a new featurette for the film, Samberg's character arranges a lavish wedding proposal complete with a full band, picturesque location and even a pack of wolves to divert attention away from a recent public blunder. However, when the wolfpack (straight off the Game of Thrones set, by the way) and Seal collide, all havoc ensues and the "Kiss from a Rose" singer gets a chance to shock us with his impressive stunt skills. Apparently, the wolves don't appreciate Seal's smooth melodies as much as we do, so they break free from their chains and chase after the singer as all of the characters flee for their lives. Unfortunately, Seal doesn't get far enough to avoid a wolf suddenly chomping into his arm. Thankfully in real life, it was all just one big act. "It's a really strang sensation because your senses are telling you that you're being attacked," he said of the stunt in the feature. Well, you thoroughly convinced us, Seal. (Eonline)

Sarah Palin ain't Judge Judy ... but the 2 will have exactly the same power when they pound the gavel. The production company for Palin's new show just moved to register "Palin Rules." Palin's making a clear distinction between her show and courtroom favorites like, "People's Court," "Judge Mathis," and "Divorce Court" ... she doesn't have a law degree or a judicial title, but she can still act like she does. The people appearing in Sarah's "courtroom of common sense" will agree in advance, her decision will be final ... no second bite of the apple ... all she wrote. Wild guess ... Judy isn't losing sleep. (TMZ)

Game of Thrones Recap: Guess Who Finally Came Back! That was a lot! While nothing was as heartbreaking or as revelatory as last week's situation with Hodor, Sunday night's Game of Thrones still gave us a lot to think about, a lot to fear, and a few things to cheer like crazy for. First of all, Benjen Stark has finally returned! Five seasons after he left Castle Black, he showed up (on a horse, wielding fire) just in time to save Meera and Bran from white walker doom, and promised to help Bran develop his abilities as the new three-eyed raven. Speaking of which, we got nothing concrete today (like, for instance, the condition of Lyanna in the tower), but we did get a quick glimpse at Aerys Targaryen, the mad king, as he shouted "burn them all!" as Bran's visions went kind of crazy. We were also reintroduced to a few faces we haven't seen in a while, including one we would have preferred to never see again. The evil Walder Frey has returned, and he's just as crotchety (and Filgus Filch-y) as always. This time, he wants Riverrun back, after Brynden Tully recently stole it away from him, so he's planning on sending his prisoner, Edmure Tully (oh hello, Outlander's Black Jack Randall) off with his army to help take it back. He'll also have help in the form of Jaime Lannister, who has essentially been banished from King's Landing by his own son for trying to rescue the queen. Say what, you ask? The High Sparrow has finally succeeded in brainwashing not only Margaery, but also Tommen, who has now declared that the crown and the faith are intricately linked. Therefore, when Jaime arrives with Lady Tyrell to try and prevent Margaery's walk of atonement by rescuing her and Loras, he is committing a crime against both the faith and the crown. However, instead of throwing him in a cell or forcing him to walk through the streets with no clothes on, Tommen decides that Jaime will continue to serve the crown by joining Walder Frey's army against Brynden "Blackfish" Tully at Riverrun... which is also where Brienne is headed. So could we be in for a Brienne/Jaime reunion? Do we want to be? We are really unsure. Sam and Gilly, meanwhile, made it back to Sam's home, and they were welcomed warmly by Sam's mother and sister, at least. They were both happy to see Sam, his totally-not-a-wildling girlfriend Gilly, and their definitely-not-the-product-of-a-wildling-rapist-and-his-daughter son Sam. Sam's sister even gave Gilly a lovely dress, and it was all very nice, until they sat down for dinner with Sam's father. Sam's father is, to put it nicely, an asshat. He's not pleased at all to see his son back from the wall with no evidence whatsoever of having been turned into the manly man he wanted him to become. Then, in the midst of trying to defend Sam, Gilly accidentally revealed her true wildling origins, and everything went to hell. While Sam's mother still tried to defend him, Sam's dad was done. He banished Sam, telling him he had to leave first thing in the morning, and he was never allowed to return, and he would definitely never get the family's fancy sword that all firstborn sons are supposed to get. So, Sam took Gilly, the baby, and that fancy sword and left his stupid father behind. Elsewhere, Arya watched the play some more. This time, she laughed at Joffrey's death, and found herself moved by Cersei's speech about her love for her son. During the curtain call, she crept backstage to poison the actress' drink, but the woman caught her on her way out. Arya encouraged her to change the play to her liking, and have Cersei attempt to kill her son's murderer, but as she listened to the rest of the company explain that actresses don't get to have an opinion, she returned and smashed the poisoned bottle. Jaqen's creepy helper girl witnessed this all go down, and went back to report to him that Arya did not fulfill her duty. He gave the girl permission to kill Arya, as long as she didn't let her suffer. Meanwhile, Arya was retrieving her sword, knowing what was coming. Finally, Daenerys led the Dothraki men on horseback, discussing with Daario just how many men she would need in order to take the throne. Daario suggested that she's not the kind of person who would just sit on a throne, because she's more of a conqueror. Dany then got distracted by some dust, and disappeared around a bend. Just when Daario was going to look for her, she reappeared on the back of a dragon and brought it down in front of her little army. In Dothraki, she asked for their help in taking the seven kingdoms, and they all agreed, because who wouldn't agree with the woman riding the dragon? So while that was no temple on fire, that was yet another epic Khaleesi ending to yet another episode that's making us think this show is a lot more fun without the safety of the books to fall back on. Now, if we could get on with Bran's visions, that would be great, thanks! Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO. (Eonline)

Outlander Returns to Scotland & Everything Is Right Again (Until it Isn't). Scotland, we're home. In Saturday night's Outlander, Claire and Jamie headed back to the highlands after that fairly disastrous trip to Paris, and for a second, everything was great. Even though we knew they hadn't succeeded in their attempts to stop the war, they thought that was the case, so they were just hanging out, eating potatoes, happy as clams. Then, Jamie got a letter... signed by himself. The Bonnie Prince Charlie had signed Jamie's name to a letter calling declaring loyalty to the Jacobites, meaning Jamie now had no choice but to fight for the prince. They bid a reluctant farewell to Lallybroch and headed to see Jamie's horrible grandfather, Lord Lovat, in the hopes that he would send men in support of Charles. He offered, at first, to send men if he got Lallybroch in exchange, but there was no way Jamie was going to agree to that. After Claire learned that Lovat had expelled his seer after she had a vision of Lovat being executed for treason, she used that -- and her reputation as La Dame Blanche -- to help change his mind. He made a pact with Colum to remain neutral in the war, but sent men anyway -- including his son, Simon. He was hoping that if Charles won, he would see Lovat as having supported him, and if the British won, they would only see Simon as having supported the Jacobites, leaving Lovat himself free of any charges of treason. So he's either a genius or just a devious idiot, but either way, Claire and Jamie had achieved their goal of gaining troops, so maybe things aren't all bad. With the return to Scotland came the return of a lot of familiar faces, whether we wanted to see those faces or not. We were certainly happy to see Jenny, Ian, and the other residents of Lallybroch, but we could probably have gone quite a while longer without seeing Laoghaire again, after she got Claire arrested and nearly burned alive for being a witch last season. Claire most definitely felt the same way, but she took their reunion as an opportunity to tell the misguided young lady she was taking the high road and not inundating her with all the insults she wanted to throw at her, but was instead just going to contemplate forgiving her, and yet again remind her that Jamie would never be hers. She did, however, let up a bit when Laoghaire promised she had been working to get over Jamie, and was willing to help get the younger Simon on their side. Oddly, there were a couple of Laoghaire-related moments that made us dread some of the events of season three just a little bit less, but we'll talk about that later. The rest of the night's episode mostly just felt like a breath of fresh air, no matter what was happening. We hadn't realized how uncomfortable we were in France until we left it and came back to the version of this show we originally fell in love with. Paris was an adventure, but this is more like Outlander. Finally: did everyone else just melt into the floor at seeing Jamie comforting Jenny's baby, especially after what happened last week? Our hearts, they hurt! Outlander airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on Starz. (Eonline)

Orange Is the New Black's Kate Mulgrew Teases "Edgy" Relationship for Red in Season 4. Is love in the air on Orange Is the New Black? Last season saw Healy (Michael Harney) grow closer to Red (Kate Mulgrew) as she helped him with his wife. And while Red may have told them their ships passed too late, the relationships isn't going anywhere in season four. "I have some interesting things with Michael Harney," Mulgrew told us at the PaleyLive's Orange Is the New Black event. "I think that it is a deep friendship... it's an edgy kind of thing and for me to put too fine a point on it would be a mistake." And Healy isn't the only person Mulgrew's character will have some big moments with. Look for Red and Piper (Taylor Schilling) to have scenes, obviously, because they share the same cell and now they share it with "others," as you can see in the trailer. "All of that is overburdened, over shared and overdone and Red's had quite enough," she said. Harney teased viewers will be moved by some of the events that happen between Red and Healy in season four. Gulp. In the official trailer for season four, there are dozens of new inmates in Litchfield now that the prison is for profit. With new inmates comes new drama and danger. Who's Red having a showdown with? Orange Is the New Black season 4 premieres Friday, June 17 on Netflix. (Eonline)

Why Nashville's Cliffhanger Ending Was Disrespectful to Fans. Not every TV show needs a happy ending. Not every TV show even needs a definitive ending. But when you add a "twist" ending to a show that has been canceled by a network solely to spark fan conversation and outrage so that perhaps another network or service will give your show life after cancellation -- yeah, that kind of sucks. Nashville's series finale came after a run of the weakest episodes in the show's history and by far one of the most infuriating storylines the show has ever tackled (the "annoying teenage child ruins everything" plot x 1000). At the very end of the episode, the plane carrying country pop powerhouse Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), a.k.a. one of the few characters on the show that remained a delight to watch throughout Nashville's four-season run, went missing, her ex-husband/baby daddy (with whom she was about to reconcile) awaiting her arrival. According to reports, the show also filmed an alternate happy ending, in which Juliette arrived safely and she and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) had an emotional reunion. "There's a little short-term pain but ultimately long-term gain because we intend and are quite focused and are in substantive and serious conversations with multiple buyers about continuing the show on another platform," Lionsgate TV chairman Kevin Beggs told The Hollywood Reporter the day after the episode. "If we didn't feel that was going to happen, we might have gone a different way." That's a completely understandable defense of a not-very-well-received ending. And so is Beggs' statement that the plane incident is how the team planned to end things on the first place. But that doesn't really jive with the rest of his comments. "In our estimation, to go with a quickly assembled too-easy wrap-up is more of a disservice to the fans who have invested four years in this great cast and these great stories. And there's more stories to tell," he told THR, later adding, "This is the ending that was intended. I think it's more of a disservice to try to hastily put something together that's not satisfying." Excuse me, but what about a cliffhanger with absolutely no foreshadowing in the final minutes of a much-anticipated finale is satisfying? At least in the Sopranos finale, when the screen went black without revealing what happened to Tony, there was plenty to ponder about symbolism and mortality and, like, the meaning of life. What are we supposed to think about with this Nashville ending? The perils of flying private? (Yes, Nashville and The Sporanos were very different shows operating on very different levels. We know, and we love both.) The problem here is not that we didn't get a happy ending -- it's that the out-of-nowhere twist that aired is absolutely no more hastily slapped together than the alternate ending, which would've at least given fans a bit of closure. This is not a satisfying ending at all, or a creative spark for another season -- it's a play for attention. Calling it otherwise is disrespectful for fans who have stuck with the show through all of its creative ups and downs, through Maddie's teenage tantrums and Scarlett's homeless savior complex. While it certainly worked -- how many headlines has it garnered since airing Wednesday night? -- to act as if that end had deeper creative meaning than simply being a conversation-starter is insulting to the intelligence of anyone who stuck around for all four seasons of this silly, ridiculous, beloved show. Bachelor in Paradise Season 3's First Cast Members Revealed. Welcome (back) to Paradise! While JoJo Fletcher's season of The Bachelorette just started airing, the time has already come for some of the franchise's major players to head to Bachelor in Paradise, the spinoff show that sends former contestants to a tropical location all in the name of finding love (and sometimes heartbreak). With season three of the show set to kick off on Tuesday, Aug. 2, Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss took to his Twitter account to reveal three contestants, writing, "Guess who is coming to Paradise!!!" And the first contestant is...Caila Quinn, Ben Higgins' third-place finisher who was this close to being the new Bachelorette before producers pulled a last-minute switch, handing the rose to JoJo instead. "It was nothing against Caila, but JoJo's storyline was just so compelling," a source told E! News at the time. "After seeing how she fell in love with Ben and then had her heart broken, there was no doubt that everyone's going to be rooting for her as Bachelorette." And she isn't the only lady from Ben's season packing her bags, as Fleiss added, "And Lace, of course!!!" Lace Morris is remembered for quoting her own tattoo while leaving the show to focus on herself (and tone down her drinking). Her casting shouldn't come as much of a surprise, seeing as how Fleiss told us even before Lace was eliminated by Ben that she would "be there." Don't worry, there's some male eye candy in store as well, as one of Kaitlyn Bristowe's fan-favorite men is set to join the BIP cast, per Fleiss: Ben Zorn, with the Bach creator tweeting, "Ok... And Ben Z!" Fans can expect to hear more cast members announced very soon as Fleiss wrote, "More casting updates coming during Monday night's episode of #TheBachelorette ..." And while it's only been on for two seasons, BIP has a pretty strong success rate as two couples who have met on the show have swapped vows in front of ABC's cameras: Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul from season one were wed in the season two premiere, and Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper from season two said "I do" during The Bachelor at 20 special earlier this year. ABC declined to comment on Bachelor in Paradise's casting. Bachelor in Paradise premieres Tuesday, Aug. 2 on ABC. (Eonline)

Quinn's Homeland Fate Revealed! Plus, Get New Details on Season 6. Good news, Homeland fans -- Quinn lives! He may have looked awfully dead at the end of season five, when Carrie (Claire Danes) was about to pull the plug on her brain dead friend/coworker/lover, but Rupert Friend will return for the series sixth season. "Rupert will be back, but not the same," showrunner Alex Gansa revealed during a For Your Consideration panel as part of the show's Emmy campaign. "How we're dramatizing Peter Quinn is still undecided at this moment." "I hope he enjoys eating through a tube," Friend joked to EW about the news, also explaining that Quinn will be a "changed man," and we'll see a whole new side to him this season. As for what any of that means given Quinn's condition at the end of season five, we don't have a clue, but hopefully this will give him and Carrie a chance to address their relationship in person, after she learned of his love for her through a letter. Season six is going to be different in more ways than just Quinn, based on the other season six details that Gansa revealed during the panel. We already knew that season six would be set in and around New York City, but now we also know that this season will cover the presidential election. "The entire season will take place between election day and inauguration day," Gansa explained. "It's an interesting time. A transition and transfer of power is happening. In that 72 days, we're hopefully going to tell an interesting story. Whether the president is male or female, it's going to be a very interesting character." Conveniently, while there is no official air date yet, the series is expected to premiere sometime around when that exact same scenario will be happening in real life. Homeland will return to Showtime sometime this year. (Eonline)
