Funeral procession for Phoenix police officer to close eastbound Loop 101 on Thursday

North- and southbound I-17 ramps to Loop 101 will be closed as well
PHOENIX – Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between late morning and early afternoon Thursday from 75th Avenue to Seventh Street for a funeral procession honoring Phoenix Police Officer David Glasser. 
Drivers in the area should be prepared the closure from about 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The north- and southbound I-17 ramps to eastbound Loop 101 also will be closed during this time.
Officer Glasser’s funeral procession will enter Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) at 67th Avenue, proceed east to Seventh Street and turn north and then west along the frontage road to the Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
Taking southbound Loop 101 to Interstate 10 is an option for eastbound travel during this closure.
