Drivers should plan for maintenance work at I-8 and SR 84 The eastbound Interstate 8 ramp at the junction of State Route 84 (Exit 151A) near Casa Grande will be closed from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 1, for Arizona Department of Transportation maintenance work. Drivers should use Exit 261 during the closure. Message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work zone. ADOT advises drivers to plan ahead to avoid the closure or allow extra travel time if traveling during the scheduled closure period.
