I stand for the playing of the National Anthem and respect our Great American Flag! People who burn and spit on it, desecrate the memories of my fellow service members who return home in Flag Draped coffins and that's appalling to me! The United States is more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic. It is time to invoke Article V of the U.S. Constitution which gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. ... Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.
