Huachuca Astronomy Club to meet 6-13

The Huachuca Astronomy Club will meet June 13, 7 p.m., in the Community Room, Student Union Building, Cochise College, 901 N. Colombo Ave., Sierra Vista. The guest speaker, Wayne Johnson, will speak on "Supernova Hunting for Fun, not Profit.” He will discuss what causes a star to explode and become a supernova, techniques to find one and what to do if you think you've found one. Johnson, an amateur astronomer, has discovered six supernovae, including two in one night.

The public is invited.
