Cove summer hours begin

Free Wednesdays are back offering free admission to the first 75 youth, 6 – 17, who show up for Open Swim every Wednesday from June 4 – July 23. Open Swim hours are: Saturdays and Sundays, noon – 5:30 p.m., and Tuesdays through Fridays, 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. The Diving Well will be open on Saturday and Sunday only. Lap Swim hours are: Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and Tuesdays – Friday, 5:30 – 8 a.m. and noon – 1 p.m.; evening lap swim hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 6 – 7:30 p.m. Kid’s Splash Time hours are are Saturday – Sunday, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Purchase tickets now to ride the big waves at Tsunami Night, June 6, 7 – 10 p.m. Admission is $10 per person and includes pizza and soda.

Book discussion group to meet The next book up for discussion by the Cochise College Literary Guild is “Spirit Walk,” written by Cochise College instructor Jay Treiber. The discussion is Nov. 21, 11 a.m. – noon, in the Horace Steele Room in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Building.
